From Online Inquiry to a Sold Car!!! The entire process was easy and the service was outstanding. The salesperson Arriel was amazing, she definitely cares about the customer and it shows, from the test drive to financing she was there and made me feel at home the entire time. I had a couple of issues I wanted service to look at before I took it off the lot and she got it taken care of, updating me almost hour by hour every day. She even came in on her off day to make sure service did the job correct and gave my vehicle a free detail. I dont own a Honda, but my Mom does. We visited the service department for an issue she was having. We were greeted by the manager, Daphne, who was very friendly and welcoming. She immediately took a keen interest in our problem and referred us to a service advisor. Jennifer was outstanding. She took care of our issue with such ease. It was obvious that she is very professional and knowledgeable. This was the best experience Ive had visiting a service department ever.
Terrible. Denise is a great sales person! Bought a car from her a year ago. Great finance team at that time. And I thought this would be my dealership throughout my lifetime. But this new group of finance guys will try to get over on you in every way they can. I dealt with three different men. Luckily for me the deal didn’t go through because I wouldn’t have my down payment by “the close of their month”! Before letting me know they sold car! But turns out the 2,500-4,000 charge they charge on top of the full MSRP due to the chip shortage is optional! I found the exact same vehicle with the platinum warranty package 6k cheaper and with an entire year shorter term! Also half the interest rate! Shop around people! San Antonio has very honest and reputable Honda dealerships! They’ll even deliver to Houston! These frantic finance guys at Team Gillman should exercise their talents at a used car lot, and not somewhere as reputable as Honda!
We just moved from Lubbock to Houston a few months ago and this was the first time I had my car serviced here. I scheduled my appointment online and just picked a random advisor on the website. I’m glad that I got Andy as he has provided excellent customer service. He told me what needs to be replaced and he explained thoroughly what’s going on with the parts that need replacement. He answered all of my questions and has provided me updates with what’s going on with my car. I’ll definitely have my car serviced with Team Gillman Honda North next time.

At least the man was honest. I called about a used car and asked if there was hidden fees. Ill give 3 stars for honesty right there. He quickly told me they charge $1000 more for what they consider tinting windows and tire maintenance. I decided not to even visit. If you are going to tack on prices then it needs to be on the price of the car while you online shop. I dont want to waste time in shops specially while Covid is going on. We want fair straight forward pricing. Its 2021 guys. Great job being upfront and honest with sales.

To expect integrity and straight forward communication from a car salesperson is probably asking too much, however, when buying off of Costco Auto Program should be easy....not so much. Misinformation on inventory, told it was one model when in reality it was another. Told wed get pricing only being there. I despise this industry, and those involved in it whom are mostly devoid of honesty and transparency, team Gillman Honda North have more than their fare share. STAY AWAY!

Great customer service! I went to go get my headlight replace and Andy Vasquez was great. He even took the extra mile to try to get my other headlight replaced however because it was still working he could not exchange the other one. But he kept me updated and made sure I was aware of the situation. I will DEFINITELY be going back to him when my other headlight is not working. Thank you Andy !!!
Best service department EVER!! Alan Scott has managed the service of my Accord since I bought it. He is phenomenal!! I can always trust him to make sure that my car gets the services it needs. The service department at this location sucks. I took my car in on Saturday for a dignositc check, waited almost 3 hours before JJ my service advised updated me on the status of my vehicle. She indicated that she had contacted my extended warranty company ( never coming to me for my warrant contract information). I asked her how did she get my information and she informed me that she knew someone who worked for the warranty company. A long story short, she informed me of my repairs and indicated that the warranty company gave her the go ahead to complete the repairs to my vehicle. I was informed that I would be given a loaner vehicle; cool no problem. Long story short; I was contacted by the Service Advisor the following Monday and was advised that the warranty company rejected the claim and that I would have to pay out of pocket for the repairs needed totaling $1645.92. I was left with uncertainity of how the repairs were submitted and approved one day and later to be denied. I ended up picking the vehicle up and paying $160 for the diagnostic check and was also informed that $8.45 rolled into this due to the keyfob needing a battery, which I knew nothing about. This was the worst experience I have ever had with any dealership as nothing was done to follow up with who approved the claim in the beginning after being informed by the dealership of the needed repairs. Please stay away from this service department.

No, no, no.... Worst experience of our lifetime buying from this dealership. Start to finish. Walked in, and the music was glaring so loudly, we could not hear the saleslady. I politely asked if they would mind turning down the music as we could not hear our saleslady? I was offered did we want to move to an office with a closed door? Why not turn down the fricking music? From there when we said we were financing it through our own credit union instead of using Gillmans, it went down the tubes from there attitudinally on their part. Met the manager and finance guys, both the manager and finance guy came across as arrogant like we, the customer were there for them. The CRV is a great car, but not one from here, go elsewhere...
I recently (8/6/2021) visited this dealership. Although I did not purchase a vehicle from them that day, I accidentally left a significant amount of cash in the car I test drove on a Friday afternoon. I went back to the dealership on Monday, fully expecting to never see my money again. I was beyond shocked to find that one of the salespeople at the dealership found my envelope and turned it in to the store manager. I received every cent of my hard-earned cash back. This level of honesty and integrity from any business or person is incredible and mind blowing!!! Because of this, I highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market to purchase a vehicle!!! I will be forever grateful to Team Gillman Honda North!!
Please do not purchase a vehicle from this location. The customer service at this location sucks. We purchased a car Saturday, they said we can pick it up on Monday (today). Now after five phone calls we have been told that the car MIGHT be ready tomorrow. Please save your time because they have cars on the lot that have not been serviced and no one communicates effectively about the status of the vehicle.

My mother in law and father in law were attended by a rude sales man who refused to offer them car prices. They were told “why would I give you a price if you’re not going to buy a car!” That was behind bias and discriminatory to base an opinion based on someone’s appearance. Luckily, they found a professional dealership with an exemplary sales man at Fred Haas Toyota. Take your business down the street to that dealership instead.
Unbelievable service. Wish I lived in Texas would be go to dealership for our Passport and CRV. Daphne was amazing. We had to evacuate due to Hurricane Ida and I wanted to get a roof cargo basket for my Passport so I could strap down some gas cans for the ride back and she went above and beyond helping us. Plus she was so nice to deal with made me feel like I bought my car here and was a life long customer though I was just making this one purchase. If we move to Houston this will be our go to dealership. Also Mr Diaz in the parts department was very helpful and a pleasure. Great Place. Highly Recommend!!!!!!
If I could give 0 stars, I would. Took my car to get repaired for one aspect and they ended up damaging other things that I specifically told them not to touch. They fried two computers in the car purposely so that i would pay to get them fix. They even lied about giving my car an oil change, but they didn’t. If you go here, you need to check that everything is good before you go, you cannot trust them. To your face they tell you they will fix things and make things right, but they do not. The managers refuse to accept responsibility on things they damaged when I took my car in. Do not recommend this place at all, only there to scam you for your money.
Team Gilman dealership is an awesome place that I found fabulous sales men Augustine and Fabian and one magnificent Micheal Burk (Honda accessory manager) who gave us a good discount on all season mats that we wanted as a buyer customer service is the epitome of any business. Rj is the best salesperson after the unfortunate event of me getting into a car accident 2 days after him getting my first initial deal done, he worked his magic to get me into another vehicle. Also with a lesser down payment and car note. I greatly appreciate him. Easy to work with him.
DoNot come to this place. The worst experience ever. Very unprofessional staff. Find another place where to go. These people don’t know what customer service means. Left me without a vehicle because since day 1 they said lies left and right, paid off my trade in vehicle before they got approval of our loan and when the deal fell through, after signing 2 different contracts because Xavier messed up the first by giving us a contract for a different car, the next day we came back to sign the right one they took all the packages off from the original deal with higher interest and at that point I requested just to get my car back but then they convinced us to take the deal by throwing one of the packages in the new contract. Got harassed every day after that, they let us took the car and said all was done and approved and then it wasn’t?! And then we were forced to bring the car back and could not get my car back, the one I traded in. They did not care they left my family without a vehicle which we really need. They do not care about people and are a bunch of incompetents and liars. Before it was team Gilman that place was a lot better. We got 3 other cars from the old team and NEVER had issues. Somebody even pretended to be the manager when my husband asked to speak with him, like they thought we’re idiots?. No respect for their customers
Walked in looking for a used car and was immediately greeted by the general manager who walked me over to Ramon who not only found me a nice used car but then offered me the same vehicle but a newer model. Ramon along with Neil stayed late to get me a great deal on a brand new vehicle. It was a great experience for my first time in this dealership. Would definitely recommend, and i will surely be returning.
Horrible experience. I’m aware there’s a chip shortage right now, but I went there thinking I’d get the car at the usual price as advertised, but after more than a 1 hour drive there, once they bring out the paperwork they show it’ll be an additional $5,000 because of the car shortage. Literally no other dealership I visited before that was charging any extra amount for the chip shortage. It wouldn’t have bothered me if they told me over the phone, but the fact I drove more than an hour to get there and then hit me with that was ridiculous. On top of that, I basically had to beg for my car key back from them to leave. Horrible experience, never visiting them again.
Customer service is always a big indicator of a successful company in my opinion. It is surely what will bring me back time and again. With 400 miles to drive to get home yesterday, that warning light coming on wasn’t the greatest feeling in the world. 400 miles is a long way to drive by myself. I’m in a CRV, so I googled nearest Honda shop to my location. Team Gillman Honda is where I was directed, and Darnell met me at the service area curb. If success can be measured by customer service, this man is unstoppable! I explained what I needed help with, and he ushered me to the waiting area. He was back within minutes-having already fixed the problem! This is where he really shined. He took the time to explain to me what happened. The PSI fluctuated more than 3 pounds in one or more tires, and that set the sensor off. It was hot yesterday when I arrived, but it had been a reasonably cool morning in Galveston when I started. It’s likely that air temperature difference and the tires getting heated by driving caused the warning light. He checked and made sure the tires were safe to drive, and got me back on the road safely and quickly.Darnell is exceptionally knowledgeable of the Honda product, and so customer oriented that he would take time from all he had to do to explain to me what happened. This really sets him apart for me: Darnell explained what happened well enough that I can explain it! He is very efficient and professional; and yesterday, he provided the gold standard of service to me. That quality of service will draw me back to a company every time Team Gillman, you have done well for yourself in hiring this man! I took my Odyssey in to have a rear seat repaired. Keith was my service rep. He ordered the part and it was repaired promptly.
Today I hit a curb but didn’t seem to do any damage (that I could see) so I continued along my way. A few minutes later my check tire pressure light came on my dash and I just knew something was wrong. I pulled into this Honda dealership praying they wouldn’t turn me and my Ford away!I met Jennifer who immediately told me she would have no problem checking my tire pressure and seeing what was going on. Ian took my car over to the lift and sprayed the “bubble spray,” clearly not the technical term, and found a major hole spewing air at high speed!!Jennifer told me not to worry and took me to her office to see if they had any of that tire in stock, they didn’t but she called around and did all she could!Ian ended up putting my donut tire on in less than 5 minutes and had me on my way! They offered advice on what kind of tires to buy and how much I should pay so I wouldn’t be ripped off, as well!If they hadn’t helped me, I for sure wouldn’t have made it home and that’s scary considering 45 is already a mess to begin with!Thank you so so much for your help and kindness today! You have no idea how much I appreciated you both!!

Ben was a remarkable sales person. Not only was he attentive to my needs, he was very knowledgeable about the product he sold. I went in for an Acoord LX and left for Accord EX-L. He was not pushy, respectful of my needs, explained exactly what I was paying for, and went above and beyond to meet my expectations. That is how you sell a vehicle!! This place is an absolute joke. 33 days and counting and my trade-in is yet to be paid off, and no one will answer my calls at this point. I’ve sent emails, messages on their site requesting someone to contact me, and at least 60 calls in the last 2 weeks. Steer clear of this dealership for sure.

Amazing series of bait and switch tactics with stalls. The epitome of what the worst car sales experiences are like. Ive bought 3 other cars from Gillman. This was the first from Team Gillman. Not the same ownership. Family was called by the dealership about the 2 cars that we were interested in. Then went to the dealership and were told that they were sold. Staff said that the person that called us only answers phones (but they called us) and doesnt know whats going on. Finally find another car. Do the pointless price haggle dance. Agree on a price, then sign it. They start taking about financing. We hadnt been asked before this but were going to pay for car outright. 1st signed quote paper disappears. New quote 1500 more. Sales Mgr now says price was only if financed and if car isnt financed for at least 3 months then its not the same offer. I ask for original signed quote back to see it. No. Then told it was shredded. Office right there. No mechanical shredder sounds were heard. I ask how much more if car is bought outright- $1,000 more. Now Im infuriated. Im mentioning deceptive trade practices that this is probably illegal and that Ill find who to complain to. Then they say that they wont sell me the car at all since I threatened to sue them (even though Im not the one purchasing-just there to prevent being scammed). Ultimately got car but 500+ over original quote. Sales manager misleading and outright lying at times. Salesman also deceptive. Very shady, deceptive and like being transported through a time warp into the past. Also if offered water skip it- room temperature. Just like overall experience- unpalatable.
My experience Gillman Honda North was great. Lewis Byrd, my sales person, was very professional and extremely patient with me. Michael Burk was also very professional and patient. I definitely would recommend Gillman Honda to my family and friends.
Since this dealership went from Honda of Spring to Gillmans, I have had nothing but horrible experiences. The CRV has an active recall on the fuel pump. Days in advance I scheduled an oil change appointment and in the notes mentioned I was coming in for the recall too. Recall number was provided. Driving up to the Service Center there were 4 cars parked waiting. Not one advisor came out. Finally Mr. Jose is seen walking back to his office and my husband goes to get him. He informs me that a) they dont have the recall part and it needs to be ordered, b) it will take 2 days to fix c) they wont provide a rental or Uber/shuttle me home as the distance limit is 10 miles and I live 16 miles away. I had no way of going home, so I guess I was supposed to set up a tent and sleep there. My appt was scheduled for noon, but for whatever reason, the service advisor rescheduled it to 12:40 (even though I was 10 minutes early) with no explanation which I received an email/text notification.I told the service advisor I would go to another dealership and he canceled the appt. We drove immediately over to Honda of Tomball. No appointment was made, nor do they even take appointments. We were greeted immediately by 2 service workers who were working with other customers and said someone would be right out. Maybe 2 minutes later our service person came out to get our info. They had the part in stock and told me it would take approx 3 hours to fix, but they would shuttle me home (15 miles away). We stayed because it is conveniently located near a shopping center and decided to run errands. I get a call right in the middle of lunch that the car is fixed. Less than 2 hours to get the recall/oil change/and even wash the car with no appointment.Last time I was at Gillmans, just the oil change took 2 hours and the car didnt get washed because I had another appt scheduled. The service advisor didnt even have time to print out my service report and instead photocopied the paper copy the mechanics used. I am angry with Gillman, but am actually glad that I had a second issue with them to force me to move over to Tomball and give them a try. Tomball has won my business for all future repairs. Whether Tomball is closer to you or even a few miles further, I highly recommend giving your business to them who have a concept of what customer service is supposed to look like.I will not buy any vehicle from a Gillmans dealership in the future, be it Honda, Subaru, etc. at any of their locations. Anyone can sell you a car. The true gage to their customer service is when dealing with their Service Department and it is awful.

I bought a 2021 HRV. Paula and William went above and beyond to help me.Paula is amazing and William took time to explain everything I needed to know in detail as did Paula. I had a large item in my trunk and Paula was so sweet to help me get it into my new car. This is the second Honda I have bought from Honda North and highly recommend this dealership. Also Alejandro did an awesome job in the finance department and went the extra mile for me too!

Horrible place. They literally cheated me. Gave a price over the phone and when I reached there there was a markup of almost 5000 dollars for a Honda Civic. They said its market adjustment.The name of the sales person is Lori. As soon as I reached there, she told me there is a market adjustment to the price she told over the phone. I drove for more than an hour to reach the dealership. And above all, they checked my credit as well in the very beginning itself which eventually reduced my credit score.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! They will sell you a lemon car and scam you. My boyfriend and I purchased a used car from this location not even two months ago. We purchased a car from here because we thought it would be better than going through a used car shop.We thought we were getting a great deal and we were wrong. We purchased a 2013 Honda Civic Hybrid that had not even 70k miles on it. We spent half the day here between looking for the car, testing out different models and the paperwork was a total nightmare. They even filled out the paperwork wrong in regards to my business name on my credit report.Less than two months later, the electronics on the back window stopped working and the air conditioner stopped working as well. We immediately called the dealership and they refused to look at the car unless we paid $150 and said it can cost up to $1500 for an air conditioner repair. When purchasing the car they provided a CarFax report, and told us all of the maintenance and checks were up to date and the car was in excellent working condition. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF LIARS AND ONLY WANT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. THEY LIED TO US ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE CAR THEY SOLD US AND THE PAPERWORK THEY PROVIDED THAT WE HAVE IN HAND. THEY SHOULD BE SUED AND PUT OUT OF BUSINESS.Shame on you, you come here to have a peace of mind knowing you buy from a dealership. We could of purchased from a the same car from a used car shop for half the price.STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Absolutely worst experience yet! I bought a lemon car-2020 pilot! the whole 1.5 years i owned it it was getting serviced 4 months… after them taking 3 week to “fix” it they damaged my dashboard.. Alvin told me he would personally fix it..and reach out to me Monday(it was Saturday) Monday rolled around he never called me..: tuesday someone called to see how my experience was I told her she told me she would have the manager call me.. that was 3 weeks ago I haven’t heard from them.Needless to say Wednesday I traded my 2020 Pilot in. And I will never ever go back to that dealership.. I had countless negative experiences with them! They also never kept on top of me telling me what the deal was with my car, and never called to tell me my car was done! Brain is another one to steer clear of
60th Birthday present gone bad. My kids went above and beyond making my 60th birthday the most memorable experience of my life. However, Gillman Honda took that away and then some. We were given the runaround and one excuse after another after the purchase was made. It boggles the mind why a dealership doesnt make good on its promises. After two weekends in a row, and many, many hours there, we left saddended by the whole experience an a ruined 60th birthday surprise. Not sure if their so called 152 point inspection was a 1 point inspection or if their laying blame on another dealership was the real problem. Either way, sorry folks, but after my experience I just dont trust them. The car I returned was put back on the lot for sale the very same day. Buyer beware.
I have purchased vehicles there since 2002 for a total of 4 vehicles. This last one is my final one and here is why. I purchased the GAP insurance as I have in the past. I was in an accident in January and filled out paperwork for a refund since the vehicle is totaled and there is a policy that ensures you receive the prorated portion of this insurance. I filled the paper work in February. and when I visit there a manager tell me they will take care of it, yet nothing is done.
Everything was great until we finished signing all the paperwork for me to take home my new car. After leaving I realized they had given me no copies whatsoever of any of the paperwork. It’s been over a month and I have had no luck getting that paperwork sent to me.
This is the third time we have leased from Honda North. We walked in on a Saturday and found the same salesperson we had interacted with three years ago. It was one day before special lease prices were to end so we were ready to wrap this lease up as quickly as possible. After three straight Civics we decided we wanted to be a little higher off the ground and the HR-V was just right. I was particularly pleased that the signing process was much easier because the desk table was also a computer screen and we could view the documents and sign without the hassle of all the paper. Everyone was responsive and courteous.
I just got an awesome deal from Gillman Honda! Armando Gonzalez went above and beyond, literally embarked on a quest to make sure I got exactly what I wanted, and Michael Burk was excellent in helping protect it. Third vehicle from this dealership!!
I recently took my Honda Insight here because of a noise that it was making for months. I took it thinking nothing of it, turns out the issue was bigger than I thought. I started to worry because I wasnt expecting it to be a big deal, but thankfully, my advisor ANDY V. was able to ease my worry. He reassured me that my car would be okay and that it will get fixed. He even gave me a rental for the time that my car was getting fixed (about a week) and he also did everything he could to help me stay within my budget and exceeded my expectations. If you decide to take your car to Honda make sure you ask for ANDY! He truly cares for his customers and makes sure that his customers are happy and satisfied with the job. Thanks Andy!
UPDATE: Since our great buying experience in January of this year, I have continued to be very impressed and satisfied with Team Gillman Honda North’s exceptional service after the sale! My sales rep, Michael Burk has always been responsive to calls to help me with questions, quotes on parts/service, etc. - - always willing to go the extra mile! Also Alvin Blaker, the Honda Fixed Operations Director, manages this group with excellence! Even though it’s a bit of a drive across town for us, we will continue coming here for service due to the way they handle their business!My family are loyal Toyota drivers but this weekend we discovered the Honda Pilot and Team Gillman Honda North exceeded all our expectations! Our sales team (Michael Burk and BJ Wilson) were outstanding with their professionalism, product knowledge and most importantly they made us a deal that was very fair. We bought a fully certified vehicle that will be used mainly for our family’s two (soon to be four) teen drivers. To show just how Team Gillman went the extra mile, Michael, BJ and their Finance Mgr. Shed Donette stayed well after midnight this weekend to finish the deal and all the paperwork with us.
