When I finished loading the U box, I needed another one and ordered for it. Without even asking me they have cancelled the delivery of both the boxes and didnt even care to call me about it. Its a matter of common sense which could make things better and was clearly missing with U -Haul.

We reserved a U-Haul for 3 days. Go to pickup and had to wait at counter over 15 minutes for anyone to come to the counter. We called the number and on call 2 got a very irritated women who said she would be in when she gets there. We continue to wait. When she gets in tells us because we were late someone else has rented it tomorrow. How does that work? Going elsewhere now.

Unable to access my climate controlled storage unit past office hours despite being able to access it several times before. There are also mutiple signs posted thoughout the location, I consider this false advertising. One of the reasons I chose this location was so that I could access my property at night on my schedule not the offices. I called the after hours number which went to the general manager and she stated that only the outside units had after hours access, I explained that I have been able to get in before and that signs are posted, she continued to say that it was only outside unit and was unhelpful in helping me access my unit. This is not my first unpleasant experience at this location everytime I talk to the office its almost always rude coustmer service from the general manager.

Older white lady was the rudest to us. She answers you like she’s higher they you are. She wasn’t wearing a mask and then wants to be rude and talk to her coworkers while we talk. Over all worst experiences ever never coming to this location again. They need to clean house and start fresh if they want services because that’s no way to treat a customer I know because I work in customer service and I will never treat a customer the way she did. Rudest lady ever every time I answered unsure about something she laughed n corrected me in a rude way. Thanks for nothing u-haul.

Please! I repeat please stay away from this uhaul. The staffing have the competency of 3 year old and the staff are very unprofessional. I was charged for extra mileage that I didn’t use and the truck was given to me with a check engine light, low tire pressure and other mechanical issues. The gas was given to me under 3/8 of mileage. Find another uhaul to go to please save your time and money!!!!!I will report this to corporate headquarters and continue to go up the ladder until this location is audited or under investigation for this unlawful practices!

My ubox took 3 weeks to arrive, and I was guaranteed in my contract to have my box delivered by May 3rd and it did not arrive until the 7th despite multiple phone calls trying to get my things. I missed out on 3 days of work because of the tardiness of my ubox as it contained much of my equipment I use for work. I lost hundreds of dollars by the ubox not meeting its contract requirements.

I had a great experience at this U-Haul Jessica Gutierrez provided such wonderful customer service she was so kind and pleasant to deal with and very professional even after I left she followed up to make sure I received the email about my pickup information. She was really great and I appreciate her. And Ricardo I talked to him on two different occasions and he was the same both times just so helpful and really went the extra mile he was also professional and very nice he has excellent customer service skills. My experience was good and bad. Let me get started with I ended up getting a bigger truck, due to the fact that the smaller one did not have the rail.but it was worth paying a little more and not having to do double the work.I brought the truck before my time and a few min before they closed. But the doors were closed and to man where there and I asked them Through the door crack where do I leave the keys, so I did and two days later I was charged a late fee. Thankfully to mr leticia I went back to the store and explained everything to her she gave me my refund and called me that the refund would take 3-5 business days. Thanks to her I got my money back please check your receipts and take pic when dropping off to show proof.

Staff is friendly, but look at this picture.My daughter uses a wheelchair for primary mobility. Our van has been modified for a ramp to exit the passenger side when parked. This location has chosen to block the handicap lines with their marketing trailer.I hope the owners read and see this. These lines are for wheelchair users to enter and exit thier vehicle. Not for motorcycle parking, extended parking for people who cant park between lines, nor is it for any other use or purpose other than accessibility for those that need it.

Reserved a truck for Saturday morning @10:30am Arrived on time just to be told they had no truck for me. Had to reschedule for the next day at 2:45 because that was the earliest time they had. At 2:30pm received a call (for my 10:30am reservation) to tell me they would have a truck for me at 6:30pm. I said no just cancel it I was not trying to be that late moving and I had already made a few trips in my own truck.... I ended up being overcharged for the day I used the truck plus charges for the 10:30 reservation I never had. I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN!(I noticed they dont respond to their reviews)

I rented a 15 box truck which was given to me in poor condition and with only a quarter tank of gas. I returned the truck the same day and put back in the same quarter tank of gas that I was given with. I was charged $75 for gas and $30 fueling fee. I was also charged for another day use and they charged me 8 times for a dolly totaling $56 that was originally $7. I had to U-haul 3 times because they kept transferring me to billing which would just ring and hang up. No one would answer. I was charged additional mileage because the starting mileage on the contract was incorrect. I have a picture of the instrument cluster of the vehicle showing mileage and fuel level when I first picked it up. I have not been contacted by anyone yet that can resolve my issue and am extremely dissatisfied with the level of customer care. The only helpful individual was Maria who genuinely seemed concerned and tried to offer solutions.Originally quoted for and paid $126Extra chargesTwo $7 dollies each charged 4 times - $56Gas charge was $75Fuel fill fee was $30An extra day - $30 plus extra milage additional $82.xx - $112.xxThis isnt including rental tax and other fees tagged on. I will update this post after I speak with customer service and a manager if I can manage to get in touch with them. It seems like theyre dodging me.

If you ever need propane, dont come here! Lazy, rude employees and service! We needed propane and it was a little rainy, and it was over THIRTY MINUTES before they were going to close and they refused us service! Reasons given were, its dangerous in the rain and were about to closeYeah well, its only dangerous if its lightning with the rain, and to refuse service 30 minutes before closing is kind of ridiculous. Now our animals have to sleep in the heat tonight, because no AC without propane. Not getting our service again! 0/10

Based on previous reviews I was worried about my shipped storage unit arriving there with issues. It was quite the opposite. This place has a laid back vibe. The guy who helped us was very pleasant and helped us access our U-BOX. We didnt wait more than 5 minutes.

I was moving my son from Houston back to Minneapolis, MN after his internship in one of the Hospitals was cancelled because of the current virus situation. My reservation made with the U-Haul National call center to have a hitch installed on his vehicle somehow got messed up. So I am in Houston with a reserved trailer but no way to get the hitch installed for at least two days, which would have upset our whole schedule. I asked the lady helping us at the local dealer (wish I knew her name) if they could do something for me on a one-way truck rental. She said let me check and a few minutes later she offered me a truck for about 1/2 the normal rental price. Thanks U-Haul Moving & Storage of Willowbrook, you went beyond what was required to help us out! We are no safely back in Minnesota before this unpredictable national virus situation gets worse.

This is the worst place ever! They moved our reservation to a location 30 minutes away WITHOUT EVEN TELLING US. And, did it 30 minutes before we were to pick the trailer up! Even worse, once we arrived, they LIED TO MY FACE and said the scheduling department had changed the reservation.

Not sure why so many negative reviews, but my experience was great. Reserved over the phone a 6x12 trailer and it was ready when I got there. Rep helped completely with making sure the trailer was attached and answered all my questions. Counter Rep was quick to check me in and get me on my way!

One star is being incredibly generous. Business with them has been the absolute worst experience! Advise you to choose another location to do business with. Here is a rundown of our experience:1. never called to advise of a location nor time change, which had us going 45mins out of the way.2. arrived @ 845am for a 9am rental which I used the express check in only to wait for over an hour to get my truck, finally got out of there @ 1015am of which I had movers waiting @ $200/hr.3. Upon return, I filled up the truck to exactly 1/2 a tank, as requested. Turned in the keys, only to receive a text the next day stating my contract shows to be overdue of which I not only called & spoke to a customer service rep but also filled out the online customer service request. I was told I would receive a call to verify in fact that the equipment have already been dropped off. Yet, I didnt even get that, I got this email wanting to bill me for more money. What a joke! Who knows what was done with that vehicle from the time I dropped it off @ 1145am Sunday vs the time yall finally got around to documenting it was in fact received.

Went to rent truck to move a piece of furniture from store to house then back to uhaul. Literally 30 mile round trip. They ended up overcharging me trying to get me to pay wrong mileage. Then they still have nerve not to send me corrected bill. Something so easy was a hassle. Go to home depot, Lowes, or rent a truck elsewhere. The new manager plus representatives here are rude and clueless! Stay away. I too have reported them to Better business bureau and contacted corporate office. They are lucky I didnt contact media.

Rented trucks/car trailers from them on multiple occasions. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The issues Ive had with uHaul have been their equipment. Ive ran into multiple wiring faults with their car trailers, usually its a bad harness and an easy fix, sometimes not. In one instance, halfway through a 120 mile trip at night with their truck/trailer, all of the lights failed on the trailer and was stuck towing it blind until I got where I needed. I called their roadside assistance to see if I could drop the trailer off at a location closer to where I was at as towing a blind trailer at night is hazardous not only for me but others driving around me. I was told by their service rep that I would be charged an additional fee if I didnt drop it off at the original location. This would be understandable in a regular circumstance but in this instance their equipment had failed and couldnt be mended on the side of the road. I didnt feel comfortable driving a trailer with no lights all the way back but I refused to eat the cost and did it anyways. Another instance occurred where both trailers they had that day only had half the lights working with them. Tried two different trucks, trailers, even wire harnesses, all with the same results. I understand rental equipment can be abused from time to time but it seems like quality control is sometimes non-existent. Long story short; excellent staff but quality control leaves something to be desired.

My review is U-Box specific. We are currently in the process of filing an action complaint against this location through their corporate offices. We have been to the location on multiple occasions; however, my husband has returned home on five of those occasions (1 hour round trip) without the box that had been promised to us. And when I say promised, I mean that he has actually had to ask the manager, Ashley, for her cell phone number so that he can speak directly to somebody on location because their ineptitude had gotten out of control. The manager has called my husband twice of the aforementioned five times and confirmed that the box was loaded on a trailer and ready to be picked up. When he got there, and for various reasons and excuses, he was not able to leave with the trailer because of blatant incompetence and irresponsibility. This place is terrible. There are always long lines and while you wait you inadvertently overhear other customers with the same issues. We live in Houston so there are multiple businesses that provide this type of service. I highly recommend that you take advantage of the wide selection and not use this specific location because you will leave frustrated and not receive the services contractually promised to you. Terrible Service! It seemed like they brought a new guy in to work and left him there alone with no training. This store needs a new GM and id even go as far as to say a new MCP if he cant get this store in order. I went to rent from this location for a second time yesterday and they tried to charge the guy in front of me $24,000 and couldnt figure out how to fix it. I waited 30 minutes for them to tell me they cant find my reservation and that they didnt have the trailer I was looking for.... drove by the back to find the trailer sitting there. I gave up and went and borrowed a friends trailer. The first time I rented was just as bad. Went to meet the employee by the trailer to hook it up and 30 minutes later no one there to help me because it was pouring down rain- i got out moved the trailers around the parking lot myself to hook up to my trailer and left. Then the next day they tried to charge me for an extra day when i dropped it off in less than 12 hours from the time i picked it up.

So after waiting over an hour Im heading to Spring, Tx to pick up a van. Dealing with corporate using Google leaves no one to be responsible. Nice.

The manager was more than accommodating, juggled the line like a pro! I had an issue with my lock that prevented me from closing my unit, I was standing in the back of the long saturday line of folks who likely were going to rent a truck. Instead of allowing me to wait what could have easily been an hour, he handed me a new lock to try and allowed me to square up later. I appreciated that he respected my time.

September 5, I go to my climate controlled, doors supposedly locked after hours, unit to find 1 of 2 of my locks is completely gone and the other had been cut and out back on. Someone had gone through my entire unit, used box cutters to open boxes, stile everything from whole torea of purses, printers, Keurig, armoire, dreeser/mirror, backpack, toolbox etc. The Denise proceeds to tell me that she doesnt know if I did it or not...so she accused me of doing all of this to my own unit. Of course I call the cops and in the presence of the cops and before they got there I stated that this type of thing happens every few weeks. She denied that only for the officer to confirm that its happens all the time and he knows he has the one that takes the reports. I assumed this bc almost exactly 4 weeks before I came in and 3 u its had been broken into. And I had just been there about 3 weeks ago and it was fine. Really starting to believe these are inside jobs. And the manager before her Jin was there for a few of these. Hhhmmm Uhaul and its management are a bunch of clowns. Go anywhere but here if you want your things safe from the staff. I dont think there are actual outside thieves. Oh AND HEADS US, WHEN THE OFFICE ASK DENISE, THE MANAGER ISNT THERE SOMEONE THAT SLEEPS ON PROPERTY? Her response was not anymore so I responded back with...so you have multiple break-ins so your solution is to DECREASE security???? NOPE, THATS NOT SKETCHY AT ALL! DONT DO IT PEOPLE. UHAUL IS TRASH!

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT do any of your business here. PLEASE heed these negative reviews, JIN is a dispicable excuse for a general manager, and the unprofessionalism in the facility is abhorrent. Extremely rude and incompetent If the general manager is horrible its likely the small staff he manages will be also. Take the time to find one of the many Uhaul locations in the Houston area and do your business there. This facility is a franchise, so customer service/corporate powers are very limited without cooperation with the general manager and they wont be able to help you. He has put my family and in a huge predicament in the middle of a move. If you do decide to take a chance and do business there anyway...please leave a review so others can be warned! 1 star for the review is extremely generous. Will be reporting and filing a formal complaint with the BBB!!

Yesterday I rented a $20 box truck for a few hours and had to bring it back by 9 pm. I did my part in returning it the same way I bought it with topped off gas and no additional miles than what I purchased. My total was about $61. This morning, I get a notification from my bank that SUSPICIOUS FRAUD ACTIVITY was detected at UHAUL for $162 that was an additional to my initial charge I actually did prior. My bank canceled my card for suspicious activity and because of the delay of waiting with it being the weekend I paid $15 to have it expedited. I immediately after called the Uhaul store to speak to the manager, Jin, to check his cameras to see if another customer or employee took my card info in the store. He put me on hold to check. He then came back to tell me his employee accidentally checked my truck into the next business day which is the reason why I got an additional charge! 1. I don’t know why it would have been a charge for that much additionally even if I went over a day but I didn’t, and 2. It would have been an adjustment to the initial transaction from yesterday if that was the case but in this case it was an additional separate charge for the $162. So if it weren’t for my bank stopping the transaction and suspecting it was fraudulent I would have been charged that amount. I asked the manager if he can at least credit me $15 off my rental to offset the money I paid to get the card shipped quicker to me since it’s almost the weekend and he said he wasn’t because “they didn’t make me pay $15 to get the card quicker...” He tried telling me that if it was a fraudulent transaction that it would have been caught in a different city? Because identity theft doesn’t happen in your area? And then tried telling me I could have just gone into my bank and gotten a temporary card printed for me instead? Because he’s confident my bank that I didn’t even tell him which bank I had has that option (which they actually don’t anymore). And then tells me I could have taken cash out until it came in? And every time I tried talking he kept interrupting me and barely would let me talk, and I caught him muting me multiple times and I had to say “I know you’re muting me!” to get him to come back to the line! This went on for about 30 minutes! I told him I’m not trying to be petty and ask for my whole rental to be free or anything I just wanted the $15 I lost to order a new card and his only defense was “Yes we made the mistake but you’re the one who chose to pay to get your card shipped out quicker!” Literally as if he’s saying “I know we cut you, but you’re the one who chose to put a bandaid on because we didn’t make you!” I understand mistakes happen, but this manager Jin’s behavior and attitude to me was completely unacceptably rude and inappropriate. And he kept saying I have customers in the store I have to go to. Completely unprofessional and does not know the meaning of taking ownership.

Review is only for Rv LP Propane refills. If you have your own grill tanks they must be almost in new condition. Price is competitive. Staff as in all uhaul places is under paid and under trained in pr so dont aspect much.

I scheduled an appointment for a hitch to be installed. The work was quoted. Once the work was done I was charged an extra 50 dollars as they said I had ordered the wrong part. I had ordered the parts based exactly on the make, model, and year from UHauls website. My appointment was scheduled for 9 AM and when I made my appointment, I was told it would only take an hour or two, so I had planned to wait it out. When I arrived, I was told they didnt have enough staff to do the job and it would note take 3 to 4 hours. It took 5.

I wish I could leave a -0. I have been dealing with uhaul for several years now sometimes 3 times a week and I have never experienced service like I did at this store. I was charged $364 for a Dent in a truck that I did not cause. It was pre existing so far up on a 26 ft truck that we were not able to see a x sticker. The representative was very lazy and would not get up. Gas was on E when I drove out of the lot, no AC and the truck wobbled very badly. I have used Budget today!!! Very satisfied!!! Budget is offering no mileage to gain your business I would encourage everyone to give them a shot Ashley should be fired. Not a good look for Uhaul. I have disputed with my bank and refunded but uhaul has forever lost a good customer hope that little money was worth it

This business claimed I broke the door on the cargo van I rented. We used the rear of the vehicle to load our belongings. I always purchase insurance in case of any accidents. So not only did I purchase insurance, they charged me $220 plus dollars for a broken door handle which I didnt do. So Im like what is the insurance for? He claims if I didnt get the insurance that it would have been much more money. This company is out to make profit but it wont be from me. I will be disputing the charges.

THis is the WORST facility Ive ever rented at!! Ive been trying to get in contact with the manager to resolve a problem since MAY and every time I call, Tuan is the one who usually answered and says, Josephs either in a meeting, JUST stepped out or gone for the day. I never knew there were so many meetings to be had at a storage facility. We rented this unit out of convenience, when we returned our truck, they offered the first month free so we took it instead of taking our stuff to Public Storage. We shouldve NEVER stored our stuff here. Joseph is the worst manager. Someone higher up than him should really take a look at this store and its customer service as this experience will defined deter me from renting a truck AND storing with them ever again.

I did an overnight drop off followed instructions & then the next day I received an email stating I hadn’t returned my rental and would be charged. DO NOT let them charge you in store viacell phone cell phone because they will double charge you. I purchased boxes and he rang me up on his cell phone. When I got home there were two charges for two different amounts from uhaul. I called and he told me to check with my bank..oh no sir!!!! Its you it my bank. Called to get scheduled for a hitch. They supposedly put me on the schedule but when I showed up there was never a time set so I had to wait another 15 min to pretty much do the cashiers job to get it rescheduled. Two days later im on the way to my reserved time and I get a call 20min before my appointment as I’m on the way that the hitch guy called in sick. Pretty much a joke of an establishment.

The worst customer service. Dont even try to rent anything from u-haul, because if you have any issue with them, you will not be able to contact them by any means.In my case I have been charged for toll which I have not used. I opened multiple tickets on their website, call them at least 5 times and I was not able to reach anybody.Eventually, they told me to contact toll authorities and investigate the charge. I told them that - first of all, I did not use toll, second, it is not my vehicle, third, I do not have any contractual relationship with Toll authorities. Requested them to provide me evidence - photos with time and date indicated. They completely ignored.Therefore, please dont use them, go to budget or other ones.Update:After my personal investigation of toll charges, I received copies of the vehicle violating a toll. It came out as a different type of vehicle, however, it had the same Equipment number. I contacted with a person again trying to get my money back, and this customer service representative dissappeared forever. Never responded to my emails. I never got my money back. U-Hauls customer service sucks.

Called this stores number and asked if they had propane. The lady who answered said yes but they close at 7. I drove there immediately and arrived at 6:40 to be told they stopped selling at 6:30. If true that would be something to tell me when I told them I was driving there at 6:30. They had no accountability when I complained about the misinformation . I suspect they could have served me but just didnt want to deal with it.Just propane today, but wont be back for anything in the future.

By far the worst service Ive ever had! I ordered a hitch and wiring kit for my car on Monday and the only installation day was today Friday the 23rd so I arrive at 6:40am and and waited till 7am once opened I was meet by Xavier. I then told him I was here for a hitch installation and (he says we dont do this till 9am umm ok so why is it an option to schedule an installation at 7am ok Ill let this go ) he then pulls up my information and says sorry sir but youre items arent in yet they are reserved for some one else then he tell me the confirmation code to the reserved one and its the same numbers that my confirmation number has Im tell him this and he laughs and says ohh wow yeah but its reserved Im going to have to investigate before I can let you have it. (My confirmation number match what else is there to investigate). Whatever I leave my car and leave no call for 4 hours so I call back and ask Xavier whats the status on my car he laughs again oh I lost the paperwork and couldnt contact you he then tells me that no the hitch is not mine and mine is coming another day nope give me my money back save yourself the trouble dont come here go with REAL professional installation. Never coming back again garbage place with garbage employees

Very poor customer service. They over charged me, and will do nothing about getting back into contact with me. I was charged WAAY more than what I was quoted when I initially made the reservation.I give them 2 stars because the vehicle&trailer that I rented worked very well and were very clean. This is the worst store ever, every time you come there is an excuse for y they can’t do something. I wanted propane, I was told the computers were down on at least 2 occasions. Another time I was told no one was atvwrod to put propane in the tank for me, but I was 3 workers available weird right . I suggest you go anywhere but here this store should be closed for business. I’ve talked to multiple people with the same experience.

Horrible I left my car park there while I was using the u-haul and somebody hit my car broke my tail light and bumper when we ask the manager to help us out if we can see the surveillance cameras I was park in front of it he said no he cant help us no explanation why. I call the police but he cant help me either, because is private property.so disappointed.

Let me add on to the one star reviews. We reserved a trailer and they called us Saturday to tell us something happened to it. They told my father they would call him back but did not specify if they were trying to find us another one. They really do not care about you as a customer. I would not rely on them for moving.

Bad, bad, bad service. They dont even deserve the one star I have them. The management is worst. I brought my car to install a hitch and they did that. They sold me the wrong ball mount at first and the employee got an attitude when asked it. After I hooked up my trailer and drove out of town, I realized I didnt have trailer lights. I went back to the store the next day and he said my vehicle was missing a relay and I needed to take it to the dealer. Dont you think they wouldve tested the wiring to see if everything was working? Nope! When I called to talk to the manager, Joseph Jaime, he wasnt at the store. I left messages for him and even called him on his cell phone, but no response. I finally called back later that next day and was able to talk to him. I was so disappointed with him that I asked for the hitch to be removed and a full refund. After I had it removed and he processes my refund, he pushes my receipt toward me and walked away, what a jerk!! I will never use this location for anything EVER!!
