This company will not answer there phones, will not schedule techs, have massive internal problems with thier associates. We are in our 4th month, parts have been in for repair, they change thier story each week as to why they cant schedule a tech. Reason is thier tech quit in the Huntsville, AL area, based on there customer service there is no doubt why this tech quit. Ive requested a manager to call, they will not pass the message on. This is a poorly ran company that needs help in basic management skills and product knowledge. The receptionist has told so many lies she can only hang up the phone on you because she continualy traps herself self with her own words.We are in to deep to back out, the Whirlpool corporation has been outstanding to work with, unfortunately they contracted with S&S to represent them in the field. A audit trail of activity and time line has been started to send to Whirlpool Corp. at thier request. It is time for them to evaluate thier choice of representation and look for alternatives.Expectation: Manager from S&S call immediately to resolve!!!!!!
I purchased from this company a refurbished Maytag washer and dryer years ago while they were located on Old Madison Pike, and I will recommend this company to everyone. They are the best and the most honest family owned, and I have never had a problem with the service or with the appointments. They are always on time, and fix everything right the first time.
These folks are the best. I highly recommend them. From the person who handles the phones is knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. She always keeps in touch, so you know what to expect. To the experienced techs who are friendly and reliable. They really show how well they know their craft.
Very rude customer service delayed 2 months part back order and after part arrived still had to wait 3 months. Unfortunately had to go through this company with Lowes warranty
My experience was great from my initial phone call through the end of the service call. My call was answered quickly and politely. I was immediately booked and given a reasonable window of time for the service. The service technicians were friendly and knowledgeable. They diagnosed the problem right away, had the necessary part & got it installed within 15 minutes. The price was reasonable for the the fantastic service.
Charlie and Jason, the two service men who came out, were very clean, courteous and professional. They explained the issues with my washer and refrigerator and gave me an estimate before completing the job. Sherry, the lady in the office, was very helpful by letting me know who would be coming and when they would be here. She also called me just prior to the service men arriving. I am very happy with the service I received from H & S Appliance and I would recommend them to everyone.
This company is a joke . I had a service call yesterday hoping that they would be able to fix my refrigerator ( was not getting cold ) to only come home later that day to realize the tech that was there only clean off the cord in the back which did not correct the issue and only made matters worst. On the receipt left was a real company A Able that was really able to fix the issue . When asking for my money back the next day I was told by Sherri and Charles the owner that the money paid by me was for the service call not to correct the issue with refrigerator ??? Dont use them if you have real issues with your appliances.
As unheard of as it sounds, I received a same day appointment. Jason and Alex were knowledgeable, timely, and professional. It was simply a loose wire, but it was worth the $85 service call and 30 day guarantee versus buying a new dryer. They also made recommendations for appliance surge protectors to protect my refrigerator and washer. The receptionist who answered the phone was so kind and sweet. Not a negative part of the experience at all. The have all my future business.
These people are the real deal. I called after hours and left a message, they called me a 7:00 am the next morning. They had a technician at my house before 11:00 am and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. The amount charged seemed fair and reasonable. I was afraid it would be sky high because nobody wants to work on these LG machines. We will call them for any appliance repairs we need and recommend H&S to others.
H&S just finished working on my washer & dryer. They were about 30 minutes late, but there were 2 men (Charlie & Jason) so they each took one machine and worked on it. They were very nice, friendly & funny. Both of my machines are working! Reasonable price, too. I would definitely use them again!
They are the best!! Charles and Jason came the first day and found the problem. They were super nice and helpful! They had to order the belt (old appliance). The very next day the young lady called and said they had the part and would be right over. Charles and Chris came right over and put it on. AND the part was not as expensive as they thought and dropped the price by half! I will keep their number and call them when needed again! Suzann

My experience began with the lady on the phone . . . straight talk . . . info, problem, time, She set it up. Call me back with an hour to say they are on the way. The professional greeted me with a smile and loads of humor. I was relaxed from the moment they found the problem and told me what needed to be done. ( The Washers filter cap was stripped and needed to be replaced)All the while Andy worked his expertise, Jason eased me into the business of cost for service, material and labor. Still in a humorous mode, he quoted me the price. After Andy finished the work, Jason did the finishing touches and test the machine.When business was completed . . . I asked for suggestions on other kinds of services I might need . . . he described works that the company did. He suggested places to purchase appliances that I might need and left me a company magnet in case I needed their services again. It was a pleasant experience. Thanks guys!

I just had a Horrible experience with H & S appliance Repair. Long story short. Our LG washer valve stuck and flooded over 60 % of our house. Our insurance asked for a written report from a Appliance repair man to verify this happened. My Husband called H & S and spoke to Charles who by the way was very nice and helpful. Sadly this didnt not extend out to Jason and Chris who came out for the service call for an inspection of the washer. After being 45 minutes late, which I can understand, there are windows of time, Although a call would of been nice and this was never brought up when we made the appointment. Chris and his partner walk into my house ask if all the damage was caused by the washer, ask me to point them to the washer. I am wrapping things up with the restoration company and in this short amount of time instead of ASKING me what needed done, they proceed to fix the problem. This would be fine if that is what we called them to do. Chris hands me a bill for $212.65 and says that I can write him a check and insurance will reimburse me! Number 1- not everyone has insurance that will do this Number 2- WHAT- you never asked your customer what you were there for? How arrogant can you be? regardless, I never got a apology, just excuses and was treated as if I had put them out when I told them to put it back the way you found it and do what I hired you to do. I do not recommend this company. Since they are the only LG repair in North Al. I will need to find a new washer when the time comes or get the part myself and fix it for $45.
Jamie Jones was excellent. We had an issue with our washer and he was very thorough in making sure our issue was taken care of, spending plenty of time checking for every possible answer to our problem. Their office staff is also very friendly and helpful.
These guys are awesome! The lady who helped me was so pleasant. She also caught a mistake LG made taking my info wrong as far as the error code that displayed on my panel. They promptly ordered the CORRECT part.They called first thing this morning to confirm the t I me they were coming,and came on time. Such nice people to deal with.
We called over the weekend requesting a repair and it was done by 12:30 on Monday afternoon! The technician was friendly and professional, called to let us know when he was on his way and did an excellent job. We’re putting their number on speed-dial for the future!
Super friendly, very efficient! My refrigerator was leaking and they sent someone out the very next day. They were on time and got the job done! The price was VERY reasonable for the work they had to do. I will be using H&S for all my appliance repair needs. Cant remember the guys names (I think Charlie and Jason), they were cousins. I like using family run businesses.
Left a message on Saturday. They called first thing Monday morning. Arrived about 30 minutes later. Repaired leaking washer. Reasonably priced friendly excellent service! Highly recommend them!
I will never use anyone BUT H&S Appliance! They were very courteous, professional, and fast. They were able to come and diagnose and fix my issue very quickly. I am very impressed with the techs Jason and Alex. I hope I dont need appliance repair anytime soon, but if I do, its H&S!
Great experience . . . my LG dryer was fixed within 90 minutes of calling them . . . I was kind of shocked at how quickly it all happened. Andy had the required parts on the truck. Everyone was very nice and helpful.
Fantastic customer service! We had a hard time finding anyone to work on our Microwave Oven combo that was 3 years old and we were not willing to purchase a new one. We called them and they came out pretty quick and found the problem and fixed it quick with a 1 year warranty!

I called and someone was sent out very quickly, once they inspected my washer and dryer I was told parts would need to be ordered and would be in within 7-10 business days, well that didnt happen! It was over 2 months, and I would call weekly to check the status, they never called me, once the parts came in, they came back out and put the parts on my washer and dryer, they left and as soon as they left I tried to use the washing machine and it would not work so I immediately called them back, they were back within 20 mins but told me, it was something else and the washing machine was basically a piece of junk and that I could buy a new one cheaper than buying more parts, I tried to use the dryer as well and it doesnt work correctly, you have to run the clothes 2-3 times before they are dry and they supposedly put a new heating element in it. I called them back and left messages but no one has returned my call, so here I am $400 later and my washer and dryer still doesnt work!!! They were friendly on the phone and the service men were friendly but my washer and dryer doesnt work, and after waiting 2 months and paying $400, it should be!!
H & S Appliance Repair is second to none! They arrived on time, assessed my issues with my frig and washer, showed me the issue, provided a fair-honest recommendation, and fixed my problem with the frig (the washer was a different story - no hope for it). I strongly recommend these guys for appliance repair.
I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Jason and Alex were amazing, fast, and very efficient. They arrived on time, were professional and very funny. I plan on using them for any of my future appliance repairs.
Fantastic service - I had techs at my home to inspect my issue within 30 mins of calling and my washer was fixed within 6 hours, good as new. The service was very friendly and professional. I plan to call H&S for any appliance issue I have from now on.
I was referrred to H&S by LG to repair a water issue with my refrigerator and was unsure what to expect. I ended up being blown away! They were able to make the service call within a day from the call to LG, arrived on time, worked quickly, left nothing behind to clean up, and thoroughly explained the problem they found. They verified costs before proceeding, and the cost was very reasonable. Within two weeks, I had to call them again for a totally unrelated repair to the same refrigerator - and they were just as amazing! Ive found my permanent repair company. Call H &S, you wont regret it!
I called H&S this am around 8:30, Friday June 12, 2015. They were booked yet the lady said she would call me if anything opened up. By 10 am, she called and said 2 guys were in route to my place. Upon arrival, they went right to work, diagnosed all issues with our LG washer and dryer. I can say it was excellent service. With in 90 minutes they came in, fixed all issues, went above and beyond what was asked by fixing additoanl issues they found during their work. I would use them again.
The repair men were very helpful and explained my problem and fixed it right away! And I did not think that they tried to skin me with a lot of extra costs......The cost was fair and honest!
H&S did a great job. At first another repair man misdiagnosed the problem, ordered the wrong part, and then wanted to order another part that proved to not be the problem. H&$ correctly found and repaired the front loading clothes washer. The techs were a pleasure to work with.John-

I called LG because the icemaker stopped working in our new French door refrigerator. They scheduled their LG Tech to come out and said he would call before coming. When he called, I told him it started working again after we replaced the filter. He said, he needed to come out anyway and replace the main board due to a recall. That sounded serious so I inquired if he was qualified to replace it and he assured me that he was. He said that he was working with, training and being trained by some Korean workers that LG had sent out here. I hung up and called LG. I learned that LG doesnt like to use the words RECALL they prefer UPDATE. The LG Tech came and was very nice. Unfortunately I wasnt able to stay and verify that everything worked when he was done. But later on discovered there was no ice and no water. Called LG, after several calls they said they werent able to contact the tech that had been to my house. Several days later and they informed me that it most likely would be 2 1/2 weeks before he could come back out. I asked for them to call someone else and they insisted that I keep the same tech. Im thinking about the warranty running out. Of interest, I was told that in an effort to save $, LG has brought in workers from Korea to Huntsville, They are in the process of training them with the goal of taking over all LG repairs for this area and part of TN. With the language barrier I know this wont go over very well around here. After I got upset and insisted that they get someone else out here before my warranty ran out they reluctanctly told me about H&S. H&S came out several times and eventally figured out that the LG Tech had replaced the wrong board after all. It was NOT the main board that was recalled for an update. AND the LG Tech replaced the original mainboard with a bad/faulty mainboard.I was contemplating having to find an attorney to deal with LG so that I could get my refrigerator replaced. H&S saved me the hassel. Hopefully it is fixed. I at least now have water. Will check for ice later on.
Repairman told us to put a fan behind our LG frig, the compressor was hot. Yep, that is exactly what he told us, then charged us $100.00
Did not show for an appointment. Did not call us back when we left a message. Our Home Warranty company called them to find out when they could return and the receptionist was rude. Told our HW company that they didnt want to do business with them.
