Brought my car in after having an issue with a tire for months. Had brought it in elsewhere and was told there was nothing wrong. Then it goes flat. After calling around and told nothing was available I found Mavis off University. Told bring it in whenever I could. Got in the afternoon and an hour later it was fixed. No more problems. Customer service was exceptional. Best in the year I’ve lived here from anyplace. Pricing was too. Got a great rate. I’ll be back for tires, oil change and brakes. Can’t beat them.

Great experience for the second time! I drive many many miles for my job and have to replace tires often. I thought it would be Monday before my tires would come in but Jay was super helpful and got them on same day…. Late on a Saturday! This place seems honest (the most important part for me) and have great prices. There credit card is 6 mos same as cash as well so that’s helpful!

My front tires were shaking and originally went to have it checked out. Once they put my van On The hoist all 4 tires were so bad, they were about to blow. I did cry because I had been transporting my 3 and 4 year old daughter and 5 year old son to school and back. They told me to look closely at all 4 tires and showed me other issues on my car. The owner and his crew were so kind to me and my kids even though my 5 year old son was being bad the whole time. They fixed my car on time to pick up my 3 year old daughter from private school and I made it to work on time. The owner took care of me and my situation and I pray God bless him for that. Thank U again to a wonderful and compassionate owner and his crew for the time and work they put in and for thier kindness and compassion over my situation. Needless to say, my son was bad and didnt earn his candy that the owner said if he was good, he will give him candy. But they were still kind to him regardless of him being bad. I pray God bless this crew and my van drives great now. Thank U. 🙏 Amen and thank U Jesus.

The people here are amazing! They have helped me out so much. Not only do they help me fix whatever I need done with my vehicle, but they even helped me out with information and resources when it came to the things that they couldn’t help me fix when it came to my transmission issues. They are beyond helpful. I never have to worry about the care of my vehicle while I’m here. They go above and beyond for their customers and I highly recommend them! I will keep coming here for all of the needs for my vehicle, even for the needs that they can’t fix, because they will point you in the right direction, even if it isn’t with them.

Stopped in with a screw in my tread. I didn’t know the length so I didn’t want to remove it beforehand. The lady behind the counter pulled it (turned out it was short as expected) and gave it the bubble test. It wasn’t leaking air. She didn’t charge me a dime and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Great customer service. I’ll be back. Many thanks!!!

Do not recommend. We are traveling, otherwise we would have done the work ourselves. We dropped our vehicle off for a brake job at 9:am. They said it would be an hour and cost $120 for replacing the front pads. They called 30 minutes later saying we need new pads and rotors for front and rear and would cost us $650. We said that was too expensive and they pushed really hard, saying it was unsafe for us to leave with it. They said maybe they could reduce the price. When we finally agreed, they said they couldnt get the wheels off of the rear, meaning they had not even pulled anything off before telling us we needed $650 in work. We approved them to do the front only for $325. They then ruined all of my front lug nuts getting the front wheels off. We are now 5 hours in and they still havent done any work (wheels are off) and they are at the store getting a tool. Sadly, we are not the only customer here, another guy has been waiting for 2 days.Update - they finished the job after 6 1/2 hours. Trashed some of my front lug nuts. Then tried to over charge me. We had agreed to $325 for the front pads and rotors. When they finally finished, they said it was $447. I refused and asked why the cost went up. The guy then argued with me and gave me a variety of reasons for the increase... The original quote didnt include labor, it took them longer than they estimated, they did extra work, the labor cost went up. I called him on each one. Finally the manager came in and they realized they were charging me for something that wasnt done.Unfortunately, the rear brakes were still not done and grinding. We went to Advanced Auto, bought the pads, screwdriver, ratchet set, and a piece of pipe. The rear pads were changed in the parking lot in less than an hour and my lug nuts were still in great shape.The crew at Mavis Huntsville are terrible. Their job is to change brakes, we were able to do what they were not in a parking lot and minimal tools.One pic is of the trashed lug nuts - they didnt even offer to replace. And the other is us doing the rear pads in a parking lot.Update - 9/8/2021:I called the customer service office in response to their request from my review. The Regional Manager contacted me to discuss my experience. He was very apologetic. He refunded me for my damaged lug nuts.

I had a caliper get stuck and melt on me when I was 90 miles from home. Called everyone around to just take a look at it and got the same response as always. We wont be able to do it today. Leave it with us. I called Mavis Tires & Brakes and without hesitation, the manager told me to come on in and hed take a look. They got it taken apart, checked everything out. The mechanic(think his name was John) had excellent problem solving skills and knowledge which is rare for younger guys like him. The manager took over the job after the tech left and finished putting everything back together. They didnt have to help me the way they did but them showing me the amount of integrity they operate with has earned my business from this point forward. This is a rare quality nowadays in a service shop and I suggest anyone that cant work on a vehicle themselves to take your business here in Huntsville. Thank you guys so much for your help.!

We stopped in before our travel back to Virginia because our brakes were squealing. The manager Jay was super helpful and took our vehicle in without an appointment. Went in to check prices vs competitor. Jay and his team of professionals were not only able to get a better price for me but they were friendly and very propmt to get to work on my vehicle. I wasvery appreciative that he not only walked me through every detail of the services to be performed but also called to let me know what items they found that didnt need to be replaced once they looked at the vehicle which saved me money. Mavis on University Drive saved us when we got a screw in our tire on a Sunday afternoon. No other tire shop was open or could take us but they got us fixed up. Super friendly and they also did a free inspection of some of the related systems like the suspension.Great place and we highly recommend.

Ashton, the store manager, was very hospitable and attentive! Her and the team really came through for me despite me not having an appointment. They fit me into the schedule and went above and beyond to find the parts that my car needed. They did a full inspection of my car and called to give a report of what needed to be updated and how much it would cost to get approval before doing any work on the car. The work was quick and well done!

Honest, professional, personable and affordable service! Ashton went above and beyond any level of car service I have experienced! We initially went in for tires, oil change and to check the brakes. We found out the rotors had odd wear marks and needed replaced as well as a very loose ball joint. She hunted down a 4th tire for us and expedited all the services the car needed since we were in a time crunch. You can’t go wrong with this Mavis location and Ashton!

NEVER GO HERE!!!!! The new manager was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. My car was there for several days and would not tell me what exactly was being done to my car. They charged me $460 for labor replacing the control arms and an alignment and every time I called they werent going to be working on it til the next day. When the car was finally done they claimed my brand new battery was no longer working. I had to take my battery to autozone to get a new one with my warranty and the battery was just fine. The mechanics did not reconnect the battery and claimed they tested it. Which clearly they did not. NEVER GO HERE!!!!
