Steve the owner, claimed to be certified mechanic charged me $1700.00 for engine repairs. When I got my vehicle back it was in worse condition than when I took it to him. He had several cars in the shop and I thought he had to be an A+ mechanic because of all the business. It turned out he had started work on those cars and never completed the repair on those vehicles and just let them pile up. We had words and I had a wrecker tow my vehicle off the shop property.
If I could give zero stars I would. These people stole all our money and broke my truck. My family and I are now stuck in TX with no way home. They spent Im sorry let me rephrase a single man spent 12 hours working on our truck and about 6 of those hours my husband was helping him. So we spent 650 dollars cash because we were not allowed to use our card so my husband could help him. Just to get two minutes down the road and it stop working. We gave this man the last dollar in our pockets and he had the nerve to tell us we would have to give him another 1600 cash of course to fix a problem they created. So now. Not only our my husband, myself, and my three children stuck but we now have no vehicle. But he was kind enough to bring us up to a hotel at 3AM were we had no money to rent a room. So thanks for that. My recommendation is scam. He will take your money and you will not have a working vehicle.
My truck broke down while I was working in Huntsville (1.5 hrs from my neck of the woods) and I completely lucked out and found an outstanding business run by some truly exceptional people. The manager, Robert, bent over backwards at every step of the way - even called in a favor to get me a ride into town while I waited on the repair! (They are only a mile or two from 45@75 but I didnt want to walk that in August...)While I was in the garage getting my stuff sorted out I overheard numerous conversations regarding repairs and it became very apparent that good enough did not exist there. There was obviously 100% dedication to long term solutions for the vehicle and to customer satisfaction as well. I run a business myself and sometimes can be very critical of other businesses but they exceeded my standards and expectations in every way possible at every step of the way. When you find yourself finishing a job out of town only to hop in the truck and discover you need a $500 repair it can really take the wind out of your sails. That I am actually having a good day now really speaks volumes about the kind of business they run and the kind of people they are!Thank you Mike, Robert, and Lance for taking such great care of me and my vehicle. I will highly recommend you every chance I get and there is no question about where I will go if I ever need help near Huntsville, TX again.
I went there to get my transfer case replaced and when it was all done i drove back home to Dallas my transmission went out i gave him a call about my transmission he said he didnt even touched my transmission but i checked it and it wasnt even my transmission. The transmission came with transfer case so he changed my Good transmission for a bad one. So before yall get out of his shop double check your car parts.
Do not go here. Drive the few extra miles (if possible) for a decent place. I took my car in for a few repairs and was met by a very rude and unprofessional owner. The repair on my car kept getting delayed. I was charged labor twice for their own mistake and lack of attention. Once my car was ready I saw that the front bumper was split at the bottom, a wheel well cover was hanging, the metal flap for my gas tank was missing, there was trash and mud in my car, components under the hood are missing covers, and the car now squeaks (most likely due to not greasing whatever they replaced). I just wanted to get out of there. Even the local folks of Huntsville that I spoke with call the owner a crook, a thief, a scam artist.
Zero stars... The owner Mike, is a Scam artist. I was scammed over $2,000. Instead of replacing power steering lines with genuine OEM parts he used cheapest parts NON OEM. Instead of replacing my brake booster, he PAINTED the original. Instead of replacing front main seal/oil pan seal/head gasket he only degreased and cleaned the engine a little. I was contacted also by 2 previous employees of his and they both told me he is a scammer, liar, and theif.

THEY BROKE SOMETHING VERY EXPERIENCE ON THIS GUYS TRUCK AND MY HUSBAND WORKED THERE AND ACTUALLY SAW IT WITH HIS OWN EYES DROP IT ON THE FLOOR AND THEY CALLED THE OWNER OF THE TRUCK SAYING THAT WHEN HE BROUGHT HIS VEHICLE IN THE SHOP THAT “IT WAS BROKEN WHEN HE DROPPED IT OFF” AND THEY MADE THE OWNER PAY FOR THE PART THEY DONE THIS SO MANY TIMES IN OTHER PEOPLES VEHICLES MY HUSBAND TOLD ME THIS OF WHAT THEY DID AND DO NOT LET ANYONE WORK HERE BECAUSE THE OWNER OF THE SHOP HASNT EVEN PAID MY HUSBAND FROM WORKING WITH HIM WE HAVE A SON WHOS 9 MONTHS OLD AND WE HAVE BILLS TO PAY THAT I CANT PAY ALL OF THEM IM ONLY WORKING PART TIME DO NOT GO HERE OR YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF
Literally the worst customer service Ive ever had in my entire life. Theyve had my vehicle for 3 months now all for some body work. The employees and owner are horrible about treating their customers as well. He was texting me cursing me out, because I pretty much told him that it was unacceptable for him to have that many excuses about everything everytime i call. Please people dont waste your time going to this guy. Ive been without a ride paying my monthly bill for the past 3 months now.
Wonderful place great fast service at a fair price highly recommend
These people are scam artist, they knew i wasnt from Huntsville, i got stranded and they overpriced on a fuel pump for 675 dollars. Two days later my car broke down and I called up there too get reinburst or at least get a explanation. They dont even to get anyone to get my car towed to there shop in Huntsville, keep in my mind i stay in corsicana. He simply told me find someone to bring the car up there, i already spent 675 now too tow to huntsville its more money. I do not recommend this place for nothing unless you looking to get overcharged and end up with the same problem.
This man is a scam !! He is a snake hidden behind a fake smile. He is only nice as long as you are paying him. He was supposed to be rebuilding my transmission ( said he charge us less, work with us ... blah blah blah). He “rebuilds “ it and it takes a whole week ( ok work takes time, he said it would take 3 days) 1,500$ later my transmission is “done”. 3 months down the road my transmission light comes back on, call the guy he says it needs service !! I was just there and you re built the whole thing !! “After the first 1,000 Miles you need a service “ ... called a certified mechanic and they said he was full of it. So MIKE the owner says it’s going to be 200$ to fix my car that he just “fixed”!!! This dude is never at his shop, has rotating mechanics in there all the time. Receptionist don’t even stay becauee he throws them to the wolves ( angry coustmers ). He says you can’t use card becauee his card machine is broken ... he just wants cash. He has junk laying all around, his lot is messy. They waiting chairs have so much oil in them it gets on your clothes. Don’t waste your money, time, or breath on the worthless human being.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!! PLZ GOOGLE Joseph Michael Phillips BEFORE YOU THINK ABOUT GOING HERE. (Former employee)
In 2015, my sister in law had to pull her truck out of here IN PIECES!!! Mike at A&J Automotive on Hwy 2821 had their truck for a solid month. Hes made an enormous amount of empty promises and out right lied to our faces on multiple occasions. Then to top it off he threatened to fire his employee if he helped my sister in law and her husband push their truck out of his shop.Seems like a common theme reading the other posts here.
Good People !!
