I’ve been to the south parkway location twice. Each time the things that stand out are the staffs professionalism, kindness and crazy fast turnaround on having my vehicle back to me. I continue to tell anyone I can to give them a try, because I know they will not regret it.

I gave my service experience a one star because there was no way to make it a zero star. I went in to get oil change and a get a quote on new master cylinder for my sons car. My son had a free oil change card that his mother gave him. This his first oil change of his first car I bought him last year. Hes had the card for over a year and it has no expiration date on it. The service tech manager said he didnt think the card was still good. Again, it had no expiration date on it. He said well it shouldve been signed by manager, though theres no place for it to be signed by a manager. The manage said well anyone couldve just picked it up and put the date on it and brought it back. I said I didnt do that nor did my son or his mother. I told him I didnt appreciate being accused of stealing a free oil change card. He said two other people did that yesterday. I said that is not my fault nor an excuse to accuse me of doing the same thing. He could not understand what he had done over a $34.95 oil change. He called the owner and the owner said the card fine, of course. He did not apologize for accusing me of stealing the free oil change card. He said he had to make sure it was ok or it would come out of his paycheck. Again, no reason to ever utter someone could have just picked one up and brought it in unsigned. All he had to say is he had to call his owner to see how to process the card not accuse me of possibly stealing it. With that lack of ability to understand the damage to the customer for your handling of this made me question giving someone like that the responsibility to work on the brakes on my sons car. So, I took my free oil change card from his fingertips and told the inexperienced manager that Id take my business elsewhere. As I left he said the free oil change card was null and void. He just had to be right. He would not listen to the customer who was getting ready to pay $559 for work plus and extra $36 for the full synthetic oil change. Hint empathy people. I only do business with people I like period and though I just met this guy he gave me reason not to like him in under 10 minutes. I had never been in a Meineke in my life until today and will never do so again. Thanks to this manager at the South Huntsville shop. I wonder if this is the intent of the Meineke representative who gave this card to my sons mother?

This was my first time using them and I was very impressed. The manager was extremely polite and helpful. The mechanics were the absolute best in helping me because they found out what the real problem was with my car after another place misdiagnosed it. I’ll definitely come back.

The service and this branch location was impeccable. Hunter the manager & my tech specialist Isaac were professional courteous and really went the extra mile to ensure that I was satisfied. They have definitely gained my business and I would personally recommend this location!

Jaye at the front desk was very professional and courteous and the service was awsome so far, however I was charged 4 hours labor and it only took 2.. At over 100$ an hour labor, I had over 200 dollars stolen from me where services were not performed... I have dealt with the public for a lot of years and in no way would my conscience allow me to do this to my customers and thentry to justify it by saying my computer says I have to.... This was my first and last time visiting Meineke...

They did a awesome job on my car it has been making a weird noise for a few weeks and it sounds so much better and drives smoother, the front desk guy gave me a update on my car and told me exactly what I needed!

I brought my car in for a radiator replacement due to a leaking radiator, what I got was a new radiator and a slew of problems. First issue was my skid plate was not reinstalled under the engine. The store manager told me that it probably fell off when I was driving and I didnt notice. They were able to replace that at no cost to me. Secondly, screws were missing and clips werent reinstalled. The manager assured me they would be replaced, and they were. Lastly the radiator was mounted improperly (very wobbly, almost hitting the engine). This was initially resolved with plastic zip ties and told by the manager that it was repaired and I was good to go. Obviously this was unacceptable at an initial service fee of $105/hr. They did end up properly mounting the radiator but only after I noticed the shade tree mechanic level of work.

I came in to get an oil change. I spoke with Andrew Boutwell. He was very professional, knowledgeable, honest, and respectful. Andrew and the technicians were very friendly and prompt. Andrew took time to explain what was work was needed on my vehicle. My wait time was not long. The store/shop was very well cleaned and kept up. The service was top notch and the prices were great! Definitely recommend going to Meineke Car Care Center on south parkway to see Andrew Boutwell.

Worst experience ever. didnt authorize work they did. charged twice what is usual. rude mechanic. paid for diagnostic. when I asked what would fix the car, he said I didnt dig that deep in to it.I had already reached out to customer service before leaving this review and the response I received said all stores are independently owned. thats it.

I am somewhat pleased with Meineke on South Parkway they do an excellent job Iwas some what please with hunter and the service I got done charged for my head lights being replaced because they keep blowing out so they changed me again plus there payment plain was a bit to high.

2 months ago my truck had a terrible shake, low idle and cutting off when stopping. I took it into my local meineke. Told me the cam phasers were bad and there was damage to the timing. After discussion, telling me the work they were doing would be like new, and that the tech has never had any vehicle come back I decided to spend the $3200 for repairs. I decided this because I thought it would relieve me of the burden and stress as I was also preparing for a difficult medical procedure. After a few days I got the truck back and with in 30 miles the problems returned and I dropped it back off. At this point it was time for my scheduled procedure that would not allow me to drive for 3 weeks so later my wife picked it up. Once released to drive, I immediately noticed the same issues so I took it back in a 3rd time. They told me they installed a bad sensor and would wait for an OE sensor to be delivered. Once installed I picked the truck up and with in 10 miles same issues. I dropped it off a 4th time only to be told they discovered low oil and an oil leak in my oil pan and wanted to charge me additional $500 to change gasket, that they could not proceed until this was resolved. If I didn’t that I could collect the truck. They wanted to tell me how much labor was involved but at this point my patients is gone, I could not understand why this took 4 attempts, why I would pay more after 2 months 4 attempts and constant inconvenience this put on my wife and I needing this vehicle for daily use in both work and toddler transportation. The burden and stress I was trying to avoid as only increased significantly as I’m out $3200 while my vehicle is still not running. Again at this point I could no longer have them working on my vehicle not knowing if this is the root or just another two months with non resolve and more money.

Waited one hour while AC was inspected. I was told compressor needed to be replaced and a kit installed. It would be $1,745.00 for all of that. I declined. Called Hyundai and spoke to service. Compressor replacement only $650.00 there. Meineke is a rip off!

The last 2 times I brought the car in for a job quoted as I could wait a couple hours they had it 7 days. This last time was 6 days for an oil pan gasket and I got it back with the check engine light on and NO oil!!!! When my wife showed this they tried to tell her it was the oil life and not the level.

They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. As a woman, I felt respected. Good Covid19 precautions underway.

Lets see. I dropped my car off with no problems, just wanted a tune up. Get car back and check engine light is on. Cars run rough I was told I put bad gas in it. Find out they put bad spark plugs on. Told they flushed coolant but didnt.

Brought my car that was occasionally stalling out to get diagnosed and fixed up. They found the issue and fixed it. After a few hours, the work was done and they said they test drove my car to make sure it was working properly. I picked my car up right before they closed tonight and went on my way. Within 2 minutes, my car died in the middle of the street. The bumping and RPM fluctuations progressively got worse, and by the time i was able to get off the road, the car would only coast in drive. If i put any gas to the pedal, it dies. If they test drove my car, they would have known they made the problem WORSE. I am absolutely infuriated and I will be there first thing in the morning to settle this issue.

Absolutely stay away from this location. Do not trust them to perform a simple oil change. When you are charged for an oil filter that is not installed, it is called fraud. When you refuse to stand behind your work, You are not reputable. If you expect them to return your calls, you will be waiting till the cows come home.Update- Local store representative indicated Corporate would reimburse me for damage to oil cap housing. Corporate called indicating any damages are the responsibility of the Franchisee. Once again, each is passing the buck but the customer gets hosed. If the Franchisee is using the name Meineke, Corporate should be taking more responsive action. If you proclaim that you are customer oriented and responsive, just do the right thing and pay for the parts charged but not installed and the damage you caused.

Awesome quick service great customer service

My radiator was leaking and I was having a hard time finding a place to fix it. They diagnosed it quickly and got a new radiator in the next morning (I first arrived 2 hours before close) and my car was fixed up before lunch the next day. They also did an oil change, replaced a filter, and looked at my tires. They had a shuttle also. Overall I was impressed.

The professionals at Meineke are wonderful technicians. Every time I have a problem with my vehicle they are always there to help. Management is super nice and inviting and they always do a full inspection and let me know if there are other small issues and lay out good solutions while also giving me the option and not forcing a sale like other companies. I would highly recommend them for all your auto care needs.

Had an exhaust leak and they replaced pipes and repaired as necessary. Excellent service and prices. Really like the guys!

Wonderful customer service for an extended repair process. Just had to get some seals in the transmission of my car replaced for a pretty penny, but the customer service and the transparency of Meineke made the process much more bearable.They contacted me on a regular basis to tell me how the repairs were going and made sure to obtain my permission and input for additional repairs that cropped up during the repair process. Definitely will be using Meineke again for vehicle maintenance and repair.

Returning customer. My first visit was ok. Staff took the time to explain everything in detail in a manner that anyone could understand. It did take about 1.5 hours for an oil change. My second visit was about 30 mins, way faster than before, but I felt like I got terrible service. I have a couple issues I needed to address but have been putting off. When I brought my car in, there was no mention of those issues, which tells me there was not a thorough examination performed on my car. The staff proceeded to tell me I needed other work done which is very rare for a car with such low mileage. I declined for obvious reasons. My car was returned to me with the hood not secured and the inside dirty and greasy from the mechanics not caring about other peoples belongings. Recommend paying more to find a reputable mechanic instead. The work he is too sloppy

Took my truck in for air conditioning service recharge, I had replaced the heater core, radiator, and all the assorted hoses, but the A/C needed complete Servicing is it had been emptied. Store manager had quit recently and the district manager, Joe, was on site and had my trunk checked out only to find a faulty AC line that needed replacing before they could service my air conditioning system. They did all this at no charge. They couldve just took my money and not fixed it, but I found the professionalism quite refreshing.

From the first contact by phone to the pickup of the car Craig treated me like a customer should be treated. He was naturally friendly and showed sincerity to help me. I had another offer from another shop I contacted before Craig but I chose him because I felt I could trust him to do a great job. I will recommend this shop to anyone because of Craig.

Came in about 5 in the afternoon for brakes issues. They checked the brakes for free gave me a killer estimate and got the job done in about 2 hours. They stayed past closing just for my car. The front desk person Alec was helpfully and very nice. The mechanic Andrew worked really hard and even kept me updated. Will come back because of those two.Update. Went in for a simple oil change. Alec told me of the 20 dollar of deal and josh did the oil change. Good service again.

I have never had such a great mechanic help me out. I had a very busy schedule with kids and work and they worked around me with no issues no attitude. Had my car fixed in 30 min and let me and the kids hang out in the lobby and were so sweet to them too. Thank you Craig your the bomb!

Fluids werent topped off and tires not rotated as stated on coupon. I believe they were shirt staffed that day, but would have been nice to have service completed.

I went in for an oil change I also asked them to look at a headlight that was out and exposed wires as they’re doing my oil change they came out and told me I needed a new serpentine belt that mine was shredded which it was not it had pieces that were shredded but it was still a decent belt I still could’ve used it and they told me I needed a pulley and I did not need that either and it would be $259 which I don’t have $259 in the pandemic for something that I don’t need right this minute they also told me that my headlight after they took the bulb out they didn’t have enough time because I had to go to work to put another bulb in because it would just blow which would keep me from getting tickets from the police until I can get it where it won’t blow which they figure would be when I get an assembly of some sort for the headlight and get the exposed wires taken care of in other words I am very very disappointed with Meineke and don’t think I will be using them anymore they lost a part that belongs on my car and now I’m for playing and now I’m playing phone tag with them trying to get them to either replace the part or find the part this is one sorry business thank you

I was pleasantly surprised that tire rotation is included with the cost of an oil change. The manager was very helpful and knowledgable and even fixed my tire for free when they found a nail in it. He also took a picture of the nail in my tire to prove it.

Stay away from this place. Charged me for an oil change that was never installed. Got an oil change and they never put oil in. My truck says 4% oil life remaining. Stay away from these crooks.

I took my car in to the service department for a low tire. They told me I needed to have brakes put on the front and back. I trusted what they told me and decided to have them service my car. I started noticing problems with my brakes soon after. I took it back and they said they had put the wrong kind of pads on the front and it was going to be an additional $300 to fix it! After paying them $800 for the new brakes 2 months ago! Do not trust them!!!

I have used this Meineke many times in the past 9 months. I travel with my job and always would stop at this location when I needed an oil change, battery, wiper blades and much much more. The last time I was there the technician scared me in to spending over $800 in repairs that have never been an issue before on a car that I bought new couple years ago. I thought I would try them again, I just called for a quote on breaks, I explained all I needed was break shoes, and would like a quote. The man I was talking to told me to bring it in. Again I said I just need a quote, he told me he could not give me a quote with out bringing it in for inspection. I will never use Meineke again, that is how they lure you in, you take your car/truck there for something and before you leave they scare you to death saying something else is life or death. I just wanted a quote on brakes..... Needless to say Budget Brakes (2 doors down from Meineke) was glad to give me a quote and has now put the breaks on my Nissan Altima. BEWARE IF YOU GO TO MEINEKE, THEY WILL TRY TO SCARE YOU INTO SPENDING WAY MORE THAN YOU NEED TO SPEND.

This is the first time that I came to this particular location. Over the phone we talked about a full synthetic oil change but when I went to pay, they just did a basic oil change and didnt put the next service sticker on the windshield. I probably wont go back to this location.

Never again.Almost 2 hours for an oil change when you are the only the only customer there.I’ll give them credit for comping the service for me, but didn’t appreciate them saying it was because the wrong part was delivered, when I heard them order the filter for the wrong model vehicle and also never communicating that there would be a delay because they didn’t have the correct filter in stock.Also, so much drama.

Could not get ahold of them by phone. Called 800# and they could not help me, either. I ended up getting same work done cheaper at PepBoys. Answer your phone, Stupid!!
