Love this store. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I can easily spend over an hour just browsing their selection. Half of cover price on most of their paperbacks. Sometimes youll come across an old novel from the 50s-70s for 25 cents.

Had never been here until yesterday. Was looking for a book for my son and called and they had it! Saved a lot of money coming here! The guy was very nice and helpful! I will definitely recommend and tell my friends!

No point in feeding the corporate powers like Amazon, BAM, and Barnes & Noble when small, independent used book stores like Bootleggers are right here. They take your old, already read paperbacks and give you fair credit for paperbacks in their inventory that you can purchase. Its a great deal 👌 - check em out!

Gentleman was very helpful and looked in several sections to see if the books I was looking for were available.

Not what it used to be...feels like a dying business. The new arrival section is half of its former size.

Annie Rice books and the Snooki Stackhouse series were there. I bought several books and I will be going back soon.

Lots of books, but unfortunate trade credit policy that only allows in-store credit on mass market paperbacks! They will pay cash for other books, though. Overall, the prices arent too bad. Worth a visit. Better than 2nd & Charles by a long stretch.

My absolute favorite bookstore in Huntsville for over a decade!! They have a great variety of old and new books alike and the hard working staff is eager to help you find anything specific youre looking for!! Rob is the reason the store runs so smoothly, as I feel its not just his job, but his passion!! He puts his heart into the place and Ive got no doubt hes underpaid. Hopefully, whoever owns this store, at least realizes the gem theyve got running it on a daily basis.

Best place I can think of for books. I usually find the hard to locate ones here. I never go in there without getting lots of books.

How could I have lived in Madison and not known about The Book Legger. I love their trade in policy. Just got a trade in credit the other day. My daughters are thrilled. Nice fun activity for spring break. The people are very helpful and friendly. I never would have found what I was looking for the other day had the guy behind the counter not helped me. If you love books. Go here and get some great books for a great price.

Fantastic store with fantastic selection and prices. I have killed many an hour in this place. There is a New Arrivals section where youre almost guaranteed to find a gem or two. Trade-in credit is offered, though dont expect to get much out of it. Management is friendly and keeps the store well organized. All in all this is one of my favorite places in Huntsville.

It had some kids books which is all I was looking for. Im use to dirt cheap used childrens books though. Like a $.99 section. Most of the books were between 2.99-5 a piece. Not the worst price but Burlington has new books for that price so meh. Probably will return though

Great placed to find affordable used books. They have just about every genre in paperback and some hardbound volumes, as well as comics. My kids and I get excited for each trip we make here as we always find some treasure to take home.

They have a pretty wide selection, but they have no AC, and their prices are pretty high. Library booksales tend to be a better cause, better experience, and better prices.

Certainly, the best used bookstore in Huntsville, possibly the best bookstore (unless you are excessively find of Barneses & Nobles), and maybe the best bookstore in north Alabama. They have a good selection and good rollover---theres always new things.
