Its a great book store. You could spend quite a bit of time here. The coffee shop has a lot of seating too.

Great place to host the monthly “Cars and Coffee” meet. Plenty of parking and great coffee at Joe Mugs. Also it’s a good bookstore too.

Wish they would pay a more fair price for books that youre selling back. They only paid me 15 cents for a book that sales for $10. Much better deals to sale them online to other book companies. They pay for shipping and everything when books a million doesnt even offer that service.

Josh at the front is super helpful. He knows like every book they have here. Great recommendations and great service.

We were visiting Huntsville for a conference and stayed an extra day to explore. This was one of the BEST bookstore experiences weve had as a family. My kids have never experienced BAM, mostly because ours closed before they were born. The staff was super friendly, super helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. We love discounted books, and the Young Adult section was a pleasure to bruise through. My teens found some great books that they might not have even picked up had they not been discounted. We also found some library favorites we added to our family collection. The staff was chatty and pleasant at checkout. We felt welcomed and appreciated. Make sure to stop in and get a great coffee (or other) drink, and check out the amazing selection of books! You wont be disappointed.

Love this place!!! So many books to choose from. I also always stop at the coffee shop inside. They have the best coffee and hot chocolate.

The employees at this location are helpful without being overbearing and the store is always well stocked and even though the layout is a little weird once you find the right section its fine.

I used to love to shop here to get my books when my daughters were young. I finally went for the 1st time in a very very long time. I asked for help to find some books and they pointed me into the general direction they were in. I finally found the book I was looking for. Then I went to the same person and asked about some other books. She took me to the books. I found 1 book that I knew would help me. The person was helpful and nice at the end of my search for books. As for as the place itself is a great place to get books. Some of the staff can be nicer and more polite.

I went in looking for a specific book after confirming it was in stock online. When I entered, I asked the guy at the counter and he very not specific directions,, not even pointing in the general direction of the section. After searching unsuccessfully, I went to the customer service desk. I waited there for several minutes with no sign of an employee in store. I went back to the front register and asked once more for help to find the book I wanted. This time, he walked me back to the section and told me that it was in a special sub section which he did not mention before. Finally, with my book in hand, I made my way to the register. When I got there, the price at the register showed more than the website. When I asked about it, I was told that they wouldnt match it but I could order it online for in store pickup. The lack of service combined with infuriating price manipulation are unacceptable.

I love to go here and get a frappe and pick out a book and sit down and enjoy. A good place for me to escape.

I hate how long its been since Id been to this Books-A-Million, but I was happy to find that the employees are still friendly and the selection is still good (I was even able to find the book I went in there to get).

I havent been to a books a million in years and it was a different experience this time. The place was clean but I wasnt acknowledged by any of the staff at all, not even a hi. The store had lots of movies and books for 3 dollars which is great. I wish they had more non fiction books though.

Terrible customer service I couldnt find anyone to help me. When I did find someone they were very rude and didnt direct me to the book I was looking for.

Books a Million was great, I was able to find several books that were on my reading list and the young lady coffee barista made me a fantastic Black Eye coffee, (formally known as a Redeye with 2 Espresso shots) I love coffee that tastes like it could almost be chewy.

Its great having an option besides Barnes & Noble and trawling through the bargain book areas feels like a treasure hunt! The bargain areas could be better organized and *labeled*.I wish they would waste less space on the In-Your-Face B&N-style displays of 100 copies of the latest thrilling Hillary or Obama self-congratulatory books that everyone seems to adore but nobody actually buys except to show off to others. Why not fill those racks with new releases of popular or interesting series?

Its been years since Ive been there the last time I have been there was when my grandmothers pet shop Noahs ark was tore down. I was about 15 at the time the bookstore is the same except just in my one experience yesterday the employees wasnt very helpful or friendly now it may have just been that day or it may have just been me too who knows Ive worked in retail for years so I know how it goes sometimes we can perceive customer service people in a negative light when they just have a lot on their hands so no offense but the bookstore as far as books was great. The store is like a Super Library.It has such a calm and relaxing environment.The employees were just as Nice and Friendly as they could be.It kinda made me wanna start reading more.One book was like a Marvel Encyclopedia, it was Great!Plus, I got to chill with my Dad.

The customer service and staff here are great! Love the energy and the effort that they put into their work.HOWEVER, this is not the fault of the employees but the store definitely overcharges for their books. I understand a slight up charge to cover expenses but when several books are literally 60% less on Amazon and this store does not price match, then it is nothing less than taking advantage of people at that point.

BAM most always has a great selection of books and misc items. I enjoy perusing the bargain tables. I can find great gifts for people that I dont really care for. The staff is very helpful also.

Very nice store has lots of old and new books and take trades in dvds and cds they have a very nice selection and some on clearance for 3.00$ right now. The coffee shop is also very nice and worth checking out. They have an outdoor seating area too. They have magazines that other stores dont have and A large selection of games and toys for all ages. We have been going there for years and they are still a favorite place to go for all of my family.

Please give Lindsey a raise! She is the most positive person Ive ever met who works in retail. Ive been working on my laptop in the cafe for about 40 minutes and have heard her make personal conversation with all ~10-12 people while checking them out. She ran out of straws and literally ran to the back for more so the customer didnt have to wait long. She is highlighting the promotions on each receipt to ensure we come back again. I already love BAM but she is definitely adding positivity, even in a pandemic!

I was looking for a specific book for my son and I only had a vague description to give them over the phone.They teamed up and found it.They made one little boy very happy!It is hard to find that level of customer service these days.

They have so many unique things! And coffee! They have t-shirts with cute sayings and star wars and other toys/movies and shows. There is a book for almost everything and their clearance section was great the last time I went! I LOVE THEIR section with craft stuff (markers, pens, notebooks, etc.). They always have just about anything for anything. Some things are a little pricy and not worth it...BUT some things are definitely worth it!!

My son was in the store and asked for a specific DVD. The staff member told him that he would have to search through the DVDs himself.

We always have a great time. The beverages are really good and there are always awesome deals!

I really liked shopping in their store. the only problem - I had was the overwhelming smell of mildew - it smelled...almost like they had a leak someplace in the building. It wouldnt have bothered me except Im very allergic so; that was the only negative that I had in the store all of the associates were very nice helpful and knowledgeable. However, because of the mildew, I will not return.

My favorite place to go since before I could even read as a child. From books, to toys, to games, to clothes, to coffee, to comics, to all kinds of unique items, and more they have something for EVERYONE!! I have always loved the wife remotes, which is basically a remote that has buttons to control your wife to do your favorite things. I just have always thought it was hilarious! Thus is a very cozy, quiet place, where you can snuggle up in a chair and read a book while your children play with all of the many toys in the store. My favorite place in Huntsville!

I love their selection of books, for the most part. The only problem I have with them is when it comes to book series. I have been looking for certain books for my daughter that are numbered 1-15. Books-A-Million will only stock certain ones instead of the whole series. I would say that maybe they sold out of certain ones but I have gone back 5 different times and its always the same numbered ones available. But each time I go, I leave the store with something. Other than this issue, the store is great.

Books A Million is a bookstore but its not one of the best ones. Unfortunately in competing with the likes of Barnes & Noble Or especially in the age of online shopping their overall selection is simply leaving something to be desired. Their staff have always been helpful though and on books that are more commonly available they are certainly a great place to drop in rather than ordering it online and having to wait a couple days to get it.Their recent promotional sale here was interesting although it looks like they could never have expected just how popular that was going to be. My wife and I literally waited in line for hours to get our check out

I love Joe Muggs Coffee that is located inside the bookstore. I love to get my coffee and then walk around sipping and browsing. It is so relaxing. They have the cutest journals! I have a collection of them now and want more. I cannot get enough of them! They also have great sales on their books. The staff is great and very helpful.

I like the store itself but the online ordering can be problematic. I sent back a book that was ordered at the store and they tried to tell me it was non refundable.After convincing them to give me a refund they didnt use a tracked shipping label so now Im waiting for the money to get into my account to order the right book with no recourse or way of tracking it. Great place just stay away from online ordering!
