Got some great finds in the bargain section! Cute store

I walked around the entire store before I realized something was off... I didn’t see not one black face on any of the books. When I asked where I could find the African American section I was told the bookstore was in alphabetical order not sectioned off so they didn’t have one. which was a lie because there were clear signs all over! I also own a bookstore and found the entire experience to be very weird and uncomfortable and personally would not recommend.

Great place to buy/trade used books. They can also order any book that they don’t have in the store for you. You earn credits to used book that you turn in. Staff is friendly and helpful. I always leave with books.

I LOVE the Bookshelf! Its a lovely little gem tucked away right off University Drive. The owner is so sweet and the entire staff is so nice! Prices are good. And the selection is fairly large. They always have sale books in the back. And if youre looking for a specific book and they dont have it, they offer to find it and order it for you. So helpful!

Nice little bookstore. The owner is very nice. I do wish there were more variety of genres available. Lots of historical and modern romance.

This is one of my favorite places. If you are a reader you will be in heaven here. If she doesnt have the book you are looking for she will get it for you. You can trade in books for credit. Clipped corners are only 5 for a $1.00.

I walked in one day around 11am to trade in books, I was informed the guy who knows how wont be in until 12 so can you come back at 1Fast forward a few weeks, I bring the same books in for trade (after calling to verify the one guy who can do it is indeed working). A lady checks me in and says it could be awhile because the guy is in the middle of something they said they would text me when the order was ready. So I leave and 2 and a half hours later i decide to stop back by to see if theyre done since I never got any text. They were done, they took a total of 6 books for $3.00 and refused 20 books. The guy said Im not sure why we couldnt take these, but maybe you could take them somewhere elseThis was my first and last time trading books in at booksamillion. Ive traded books in at every other store that offers it in Huntsville and have never had such an awful experience. Maybe go back to just being a bookstore because this is failing.TL;DR - if you need to trade in books, save your time and go to booklegger, the bookshelf, or 2nd and Charles.

June 17, 2015 Just went to the new location today. Really liked the new store. It seems to be larger than the whitesburg store and it is well worth visting. The same happy people are there to help in any way they can. Love it just as much!!!!carlene m.
