Did a quick, quality repair on my macbook, which had a bulging battery due to failure. Eleven years old so am surprised they had the parts. Highly recommended!

Long history of excellent products, service, and advice. The source of all things Apple in Huntsville for many years which continues today. There is no comparison to the chaos and inefficiency of the nearby Apple Store. The service department has been dependably the best for years and, more important, will give wise and cost-effective advice on repairs/upgrades. I have been a customer for more than fifteen years and Mac Resource remains my go to place for the Apple products and repair..

These people got the job done a fairly quickly. There was a bit of confusion about if I had to replace a drive that had failed. After I was told to order one, a couple days later they called to see if I would rather install the OS on the second drive in the mini. This was not my personal machine and I didnt know it had an additional drive. This should have been brought up initially. The memory card had already been ordered and it was all good. I would not hesitate to trust them with another repair.

They had exactly the accessory I needed at the last second, a bracket to put my iPhone on a standard tripod. I bought my first Mac from Eric when they were at the Boardwalk location 7 years ago and its still running great. They have fixed a hard drive and sold me some RAM and other accessories over the years. Always great service and I recommend them highly.

I left my MacBook Pro in the hands of Dan at Mac Resource and he did a wonderful job. My computer experienced some water damage and it was crucial that I recover all of my files. Mac resource did it for me at a reasonable price point, as well as removed my hard drive for me just in case I want to use it else where or add it to another computer. Great experience here, I will recommend!

I dropped in to have my 2009 iMac checked out because it was running slow. I received prompt, friendly service and an honest opinion on how much longer the computer would be functional even after service/upgrades. I really appreciate the expertise Mac Resource offers.

They very quickly secured my data same day, and then repaired a Macbook that had water dropped over it in two business days. The Apple store are not allowed to try and secure the data for you and have to send it off, likely five business days. As a business owner I needed the quicker turnaround.

Why go anywhere else for your Mac needs? Easy in and out, friendly staff and very knowledgeable. Weve probably purchased 5 or 6 computers and laptops from them over the years.

My family has been using Mac Resource for our Apple needs since at least the late 1980s. They have had a few gruff employees over the decades but I think that is normal in any retail setting. The same manager (owner?) running the store when they were on Boardwalk is the same one today.Weve never been steered wrong with them. Whether were looking for a laptop, desktop, accessories, or a repair.Theyre a specialty Apple store not owned and operated by Apple. There really arent many of their type of store in the world. If you love Apple computers and like to shop local to support your local economy, this is your store.

These people know what they are doing and are dedicated to making sure the job is done right. 100% would recommend to anyone who owns Apple products.

These guys are not only idiots, but, they are crooks!!!... They said they fixed the computer, it worked for less than three hours!!! Then they charged our card twice!!!... Then when we come back to have it fixed AGAIN... They wanted to charge AGAIN!!! ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PLACE EVER!!! THEY SUCK, HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKING IT ANYWHERE BUT HERE!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I had a single key that stuck on my 2016 MacBook 12”, and I thought that they might be able to fix it real quick for me. They took it back into the back, and literally the entire time I was waiting, the guy out front was talking to me, trashing Apple, and dissing on Huntsville and engineers. I happen to love Apple, Huntsville, and I’m also an engineer. On top of that, they couldn’t fix it, and still charged me anyway. I took it down the street to Apple in Bridgestreet, they sent it off to Texas, replaced my entire top-case, and got it back to me in three days. The bill from Apple was less than Mac Resource was going to charge me. If you have a repair, or you want a computer, just go to Apple. They’re amazing.

After resolving an old dispute with the store... My previous review was about a problem I had a few years back and doesnt currently reflect the current management or staff.I do find the staff helpful in most cases. But when it comes to some more unorthodox questions, it does catch them off guard. For simple people, I do find the selection pretty good and they always have the accessories that you need. If you need repairs they can help with mostly everything.The only real downfall I find is that most of the products you can find working knockoffs for much cheaper on Amazon. But if you need something in the same day, Mac Resource is the place to go.

I had a horrible experience. I paid $120.00 for them to tell me it was a lot of damage to my Mac. So I asked could it be fixed. He replied yes but I had to find the parts to bring to them to fix it!!! Are you kidding me!! Would never do business with these people again!!

I brought my macbook pro in because it would not turn on nor charge. After trying to reset the SCM and everything else that google and the apple site tells you to do on the forums the guy told me that they would need to charge me $120 just to take it apart to see what the problem is and add the price of fixing the problem on top of that. I asked if they would do the same at the apple store because I seem to recall them diagnosing the problem for free. He assured me they would charge the same amount. I took my chances and went to the mac store anyways. The genius took the laptop to the back for 7 minutes and came back with it fixed - FOR FREE!When it comes to this mac resource store, get a second opinion from the genius bar.

My wifes Mac would no longer power up. I brought it in to the store, they plugged it in, and it powered right up! The fellow behind the desk said this is a common problem and you have to unplug the computer for a long enough amount of time for the power to dissipate from the internal capacitors. Then it powers up again. They did not charge me. Also I showed them my sons broken iPad and they told me it would not be worth fixing but suggested donating it for a tax credit.Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, and none of the frantic business of Bridgestreet.I highly recommend Mac Resource.

Brought in a 17 inch MacBook Pro for repair at the Mac resource store their estimate to repair was over $1500 took the very same computer to Apple store on bridge street they repaired the Apple computer for $300 runs 100% do the math one more time do the math #s dont lie
