I had a great experience with this company. They were nice and knew what they were talking about. I bought a used transmission. I got it for the right price and with a great warranty and with free shipping. If needed I will call Transmission Tyler back if I need any other part for my car. Great service.

I ordered a engine from Tyler which runs very well and I am happy with. Trying to get my $450.00 core charge back is another story. I was informed that my account would be credited on Friday which never happened. Since that time I only get placed on hold and then the line goes dead. No email has been replied to and I believe they know my number as I am out of state. Its been a couple months and I have filed a complaint with the BBB. Hopefully this will resolve this problem. Its a shame that this company is trying to rip people off. Just checked the website states its being worked on. The phone number said its been disconnected . I wonder how many people this has been done to? These people are probably changing the name and continuing to rip people off. Scumbags.

Lets just say that. Im a Big Imports Automobile guy. I have ordered 2 transmission for my BMWS, and these guys have hands down the best price and products. I would like to think that Im a serious shopper. And Craig did a Great Job getting me what I needed and wanted for the BMW I just bought recently. For my car lot in Polkton, NC. So let just sat that you would be Stupid not to purchase anything from these guys. I do feel like the price was a little steep. But you get what you pay for so. I am posting on behalf of my dad. He ordered a transmission from this place. When it was recieved, it was the wrong one. They refuse to send the correct transmission and take the wrong one they sent back. Their sales and customer service is far from professional. Spend your money elsewhere with a more reputable business. Also, it appears that some of the good reviews on here arent customers, but employees so keep that in mind. The unit is a factory installed unit. They tried to say that the VIN number says it is a G54 transmission, which I do believe is what was sent. The problem with that is that Toyota made the G54 from 1986-1988. The pickup receiving the transmission is a 1992 and had a factory G58. The Toyota dealerships we spoke with are in agreement with this as well.

Total rip off. They sold me a damaged engine. I tried to work with APX on a warranty claim to get money for parts to repair and extend my warranty. They left me high and dry. Had my lawyer attempt to contact several times. Never do business with this shady outfit. They do not stand behind their word or the items they sell.

These guys are knowledgeable and friendly. They make sure you get the right part you need. And they back it with a great warranty. Thanks guys for all your help!

Never had to buy a motor before - totally new experience. Thankfully I ran across APX and Chris. He was very helpful in understanding the process, the product and what to expect.Everything worked out exactly as he described, motor even delivered earlier than expected. Chris called a few weeks later to see how things worked out and to make sure we were happy.Thats what Customer Service looks like to me....

I bought an engine from APX about a month ago for my daughters 2007 Scion TC and I must say how pleased I am with the overall experience. The process alone is intimidating not only because it is costly but youre buying something sight unseen Fortunately my sales rep, Chris, not only answered all my questions but he took his time to explain everything to me so that I was comfortable with my purchase and decision. There were a few times that I had to reach out to Chris for additional info and he was ready and able to meet my needs each time. I got a call from my mechanic this morning and the car is finally done. My mechanic said the car runs beautifully!!!! I am excited and cant wait for my daughter to pick it up. Thank you for EVERYTHING!!! I will definitely refer my friends to you going forward!

Like most of the other people said, there should be a ZERO STAR choice.They sent me a seized ENGINE(crank was broke), rusted out full of beach sand core motor for a $1075 charge. My mechanic laughed when it showed up. Auto parts Xtreme(scam artists) told me to return it at my cost for Freight to fix it and send it back.$75 a day to store my car in a shops bay while I wait 6 weeks for Freight and repairs(scam artists..didnt even know what I meant by a seized motor when I called them)😠.They locate motors(junk yards..then negotiate it to you. My motor didnt come from there facility.Came from another state.They kept $400 of my $1075 for Freight return on there mistake(originally sent an invoice refund of $1000) never got it(scam)..unfortunately for them I will be suing for the difference +.Trust me and dont use these scam artists!!!BAD Auto parts xtreme..BAD!!Also DONT DO BUSINESS WITH TYLER..He doesnt tell the truth..naughty 👦(Sales person at auto parts extreme)

APX was great. My engine went out on me and they got an engine to me in less than week. I will recommend anyone goes to APX and talk to Craig. He was friendly and honest.

I ordered an engine from these people over a month ago that I paid $1850 for and was supposed to be here the following week. Two weeks went by with no engine then they tell me the shipping company dropped it and they are sending me a new one which took another two weeks to get here and it is the junkiest engine my mechanic says hes ever seen and theres absolutely no way he will install it in my truck its horrible. Then they have it picked up and tell me they can get a decent one for another 500. After the run around Ive gotten for the past two months theres no way Im trusting them with more of my money and they said my money has been refunded but its not showing in my account. This is the worst experience Ive ever had buying anything in my life! Total rip offs dont waste your time or money. Today marks yet another week and they said they refunded my money into my account ....that is a lie I still have not gotten the money back I paid for that rusted up junky engine. $1800 they owe me STILL!!! I will take this review off here if you will put my money back in my account!!!

I called these guys for a replacement 7.3L engine for my 1999 Ford F350, and they saved me a lot of money, after talking with Craig i realized my turbo didnt need replacing and my pump and injectors were still good. Would recomend these guys to anyone, very honest and knowledgeable.

Is there a 0 star?? Stay away from this company!!!! They send you faulty products, dont return phone calls, and lie about refunds!!! This company stole almost $400 from us and it took us almost 4 weeks to get a partial refund. Disrespectful!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

Do Not Buy!!! I brought a used transmission 6 months ago, started going bad, when I call for the claim he denies it cause it was 2 days past the purchase date not install date which clearly states in their website. I call today and the Salesman tells me, he told me not to buy that transmission back then. Do you honestly belive if he would have told me that I still would have brought it. These guys will say and sell anything for a buck. Save your money, they already ruined my life

My transmisson gave out on me. I got on the internet and found AUTO PARTS XTREME. Tom was very nice and helpful. He promised me a clean good running trans and that is what I got. The service and product was so good. I tell all my friends if you need a trans or engine call these guys they are GREAT!!!!!!

I normally dont leave a lot of reveiws but this place is a must! I never have any good luck and my engine completely went in my car 2011 dodge nitro that i havent even had for one year trying to find a 4.0 L engine not easy. I looked online and recieved a call from Criag at apx engines. He was such a gentlemen and gave me a qoute on one then he even spoke with my mechanic from miner motors. The engine was not cheap(for me) it was 1500 dollars. according to my mechanic that was a great price. Craig had called me a few days later to see what i wanted to do i explained i dont have that kind of money to just hand out then he explained that they do have a program to be able to put down a deposit and you have 90 days to pay it off!!! I couldnt believe there was actually a place that would do that and be so kind and so helpful it defintely put me in a good place to not have to worry about rushing to collect money. APX Engines made it possible for me to get what i needed for my car and Craig was such a nice guy true to heart and made this the best buying experience ever he didnt once harass me or pressured me into anything. I highly reccomend them for all your car needs!

IM WAITING FOR YOUR PHONE CALL!!!!!Order a transmission and have been running it for 4 months and my shift solenoid just went but at the time I thought no big deal because my sales rep Craig told me when I bought the thing it was nation wide parts and labor for 3 years.... come to find out Craig manipulated the truth to get me to buy a transmission from them.. when I called back about warranty he said most of the labor would be covered... long story short after asking for manager they pasted me off to manufacture and told me to deal with them from now on and they only cover 50$ a hour for labor based off the book they go by. Called back to apx to speak to Owener and same manager said they get back with me in 24 to 48 hrs and that was over a week ago... probably lost a few customers few of my buddys were just about to call and order some other stuff from them... still havent found anything out about my core neither

I bought a used transmission for my VW Passat. I found Tyler to be extremely professional and went to great lengths to make sure I got the right Trans and my experience with AP Xtreme was to my liking. THIS SO CALLED COMPANY OFFERED ANOTHER TRANSMISSION BUT REFUSED TO GIVE ME A DISABLED AMERICAN ON SSA time to save to unistall now refuses to accept service of law suite & Im forced to contact police to serve the civil law suite & requested for criminal charges be filed on this company for abusing a disable adult!

Paid $1200 for motor and after payment went through they claimed to have double sold and sent another motor. turns out the new motor was an untested salvage with no compression. They paid $700 for. Run from these hacks and thiefs

I was lied to by Craig when I purchased what was represented to me as Oem doors I said I do not want aftermarket parts he assured me they werent I purchased Taiwan doors not GM and got 2 damaged doors wont give money back stay away from these clowns they are cons had to give 1 star because it would not let me write a review if I didnt

Shipping was terrible. Left and forgotten my engine at a terminal. 1 week of shipping took much longer. Terrible service on my end.
