Out of everything. I needed assistance probably 2 to 3 times and no one ever asked me. They asked my husband 3 times while he walking around waiting on me to finish shopping. They were out of the free ulta gift bags. She put 2 of my items back due to no sku. Get it together.

I had ordered some hair products online that showed on the website they were in stock! When I went to pick up the products at Ulta Beauty the employee handed me a bag with my order. I got in the car and opened the bag and it was missing one of the products I ordered. I called the store and advised they missed putting an item in my bag. The employee told me they were out of stock! I replied on the Website it stated the product was in stock. The employee replied well That corporate seems to put in stock on products on website before they ship to the store and told me the next delivery of would we another week! The employee expressed they always experienced this issue. Ulta corporate office isThe blame here and they need to get it together. Terrible way to do business!
They love to racially profile in here. How is it that I canβt even enjoy my gift card while Iβm here. What a shame. Do better and train your staff appropriately.
New to Jacksonville and had my hair done today by Adrienne. Adrienne was very kind and patient. She took the time to listen to my wants and needs as a client. She explained step by step the process it would take to achieve the look I wanted. While waiting for my hair to color, she educated me on products and tips on styling my hair. We even had some girl talk here and there. Not only did she deliver great customer service but she is fantastic with hair. Go see her at St. Johnβs Towncenter Ulta for all your hair needs! π

Ordered and purchased items online for several Christmas gifts. I used curbside pick up at the store and I was blown away with how fast the service was. Great for quick holiday gift ideas, I will definitely return to this location. It was early on a Tuesday morning with little to no wait for my items.
I called a few weeks before I visited the store in search of a particular fragrance and was told that they dont carry it. Because I was in the area, I decided to stop in and low and behold, they had the perfume.
Long line waiting to check out. It did move faster this time than the last time, 3 months ago, and had spaces with markers to stand on so as not to get too close to others. Very polite checkers maning all 4 registers. Yea!
I highly recommend looking out for Chloe (unsure if thatβs correct spelling) she was so helpful when I was looking for a new foundation. Took the time to go through options with me and was really knowledgeable not only about the products themselves but how different shades vary by brand. I was really thankful for her expertise.
Great place to go for cosmetics! The store is always clean, staff is so pleasant and helpful, and theres a great selection of products to suit every beauty need! It has a lot of products that can only be found in this specialty store, but is a tad pricier for the things found at other big retailers.

Store is fine, zero stars for the salon. I have a date tonight & i just wanted to look nice.l for it. Had an appointment for 5:00 pm on Friday, left work early and showed up to be told it was cancelled. I dont believe this was their fault but a computer glitch. They said they would squeeze me in the next day at 11 am. I arrived at 11 and was told it would be a wait, here i am nearly 30 min after my appointment still waiting. I told the worker that I was going to just head out (long brown curly hair, black maxi, pregnant) and that I was disappointed in the situation. She was incredibly rude and had zero customer service, offered no apology and told me i dont know what you want me to say, youre the one who showed up in the middle of a color appointment. Very disappointing, i wouldve rescheduled or waited longer had their been any apology or friendly customer service.
The staff was very kind and helped me find the right foundation. Not super busy, fast check out, and easy to social distance. Great experience would definitely go back.

Although my pick up order was not completed until I got there the location was clean and seemed to be doing their best at following the Covid-19 policy, which I can appreciate. I still shopped around until the order was ready.. The shelves are not stocked in some popular items (Urban Decay, Morphe and Shea Moisturizer soap) but that was okay. I always enjoy the product range.

I was very disappointed at my visit today. Unfortunately, it was confusing for people who walked up to the store as they had a lot of signage outside about curbside pick up and all signage seemed to indicate to form a line outside. I opened the door and had to ask if I could come in. I notice three other people behind me did the same thing. So I recommend you making the signage more clear. It appears it was not for several of us approaching the business. When I first walked in the store they had an associate at the door to tell you how the policies had change since covid, which was nice. I got the items I needed and went to stand in line. there were three lines all open and one cashier. I was the only one in line when I got into the second line. The lady currently being helped took forever and was asking the associate to price check all her items and then wanted things in different bags. So it took a lot of time and the associate was trying to be as patient as possible. Several people in the store did end up getting in line behind me. Then another lady walked in after several of us had been in line and walked up to the first line. The minute the associate finished with her current customer, who had not got into the line behind the rest of us, walked in front of all of us. I was walking toward the line thinking she would have noticed all of us already in line, she did, but did not care. Your associate said nothing and I walked back to the line and then the lady behind me got upset. Several employees noticed the line forming and no one opened another line to help as there was no more space up front for many people to stand. Many people were upset and irritated due to poor management of the line of customer expectations. Fix your flow of the store and signage if your not going to do constant assessment to help customers social distance with positive customer service then why bother. Dont just act like your doing it but do it!
They close at 9PM on Fridays but wouldnβt let me in at 7PM on a Friday? Really frustrating being that I had items I needed to purchase for an event for my job.

I dislike this Ulta so much. They are always out of what I need (and yes it was before the pandemic). And the staff is so rude. I try to drive out of the way to go to another location because the employees at Town Center are Divas. I walked in tonight at 6:52 to run get some shampoo. From across the store a Diva hollered and said maam we close in 5 min. I replied and advised him that I was only grabbing shampoo. It was extremely condescending and cold. Like I said, I would have driven to the beach location but I had to have the product tonight. I highly do not recommend this Ulta.

My experience at the salon portion of Ulta has been amazing each time. Ive had haircut and highlights done by Haley Higgins and I can 100% vouch for her. #1: I love my hair tone. It is sooo hard to find someone that gets the brassy tones out of my blonde and she kills it every time. #2: She is efficient yet extremely proficient, friendly, and easy to talk to if youre in the mood. Her personality rocks, which is essential if you need to be getting your hair done every two months like me. As someone who has had her hair botched so many times Im extremely happy to finally find my perfect stylist.
Made an appt to have my brows done on my birthday, however, when I arrived for my appt, they did not have me booked in their system. This was the first time I was going to use Ultas beauty services. The consultant, Amber, tried to offer having another person assist me but couldnt fit me in until later in the day which was not feasible for my schedule. My feedback to Ulta would be to find out who is responsible for this scheduling error and spend more time coaching them.

Had an appointment to get my hair cut they called me 15 mins before hand to try to reschedule. I was already at the store and had a sitter lined up. This was the third time this had happened at this salon.
I wish I should give the salon a 0. I got over charged for services I didnt get for one, like I was quoted $89 and the charged me $230. Dont get me wrong I love the color I got, but everything once I walked out went to hell. The color in less then a week has bleed so much Ive had to replace almost all my shirts and bras pillow cases and pillows. My neck is now permanent colored purple. My hair is falling out in clumps like I look like Im bald in a part of my head how bad it it. They will not do anything about any of it too.

As a treat to myself, I signed up to get a facial, my best decision of 2019. Stephanie at Ulta at the Town Center did miracles with my face. My skin feels so light and it is so soft. Not flawless, but healthy. I want to walk up to strangers and say touch my face. Im so happy. Booking my next appointment already.

Lots of great beauty and grooming items organized intuitively and neatly with highlighted store picks arranged throughout the front and middle aisles.The layout and wide open aisles make browsing an ease, but if you do feel aimless or overwhelmed there are many great, knowledgeable, and unbiased store beauty associates easy to approach and ask questions.Theres something for everyone here. Drugstore products; salon haircare; mid to high end makeup lines. If your favorite brand happens to not be here, youll surely find a great, soon to be beloved alternative - just ask!
Pretty upset with the lack of texture product for curly girls. They have deva curl & curlsmith but not much else in the affordable range. Had asked when they were restocking and had no idea.Unfortunate, I guess target next.
Worst store ever! Whenever Iβm forced to shop in the store I think to myself why do I put myself through this. sales people try to be helpful but not that well trained and the line to purchase something is usually around the corner and halfway up the store.

I came in with sad, brassy brown hair (the result of a bad box hair dye). Grace, my stylist, did an amazing job. She took the time to learn what I wanted and prepared a custom treatment, just for me. Grace explained each step so that I was comfortable with the process. I love, love, LOVE my new hair. If you want stellar service and an awesome dye job, please go see Grace!
The personnel was helpful in assisting of getting the right shampoo.I found the product I was looking for.The store was clean,well organized,the products in the front of the entrance and throughout the store were displayed beautifully, and had enough personnel on the floor for customer assistance. The lady who was helping us was knowledgable about the available deals and the usage and ingredients of the products.Great deals with online coupons.One con-,the line at the register was long,however,was moving fast.The store is very convenient,near by business centers,the lunch time or quick errand can be used to visit the store.

Place had too much stuff piled into one small store, people constantly in each others way and prices are absolutely ridiculous especially for colognes, unless you plan on spending $60 for a 2 oz bottle of cologne I dont recommend this place.
After 10 years the same straightener which treated me very well I dropped it this morning and shattered it so I went to Ulta to take a look at their selection and I fell in love with a chief. For around $100 I got a straightener, straightening protector spray, and a bag to put everything in it. It also came with a two-year limited warranty. I highly recommend coming here they have the best deals and the ladies are also helpful. I also got some information on a new nail salon! One of my favorite Ulta stores to come to!
The staff you see and deal with at the store are NOT who handle stocks, availability, and most of the other complaints on here. For my visit, I was greeted by VERY polite cashiers, and when I waited a short time in a quick-moving line to ask for help, the polite lady immediately came from behind the desk to help me color match! This was my first time visiting, and I felt like she knew me with how polite she was and accommodating. When the shade she used turned out to be out of stock, she immediately checked and told me the exact times it would be back and I could call to double check the next day. She even found me before I left the store because she had gone and found a sample just in case I couldnβt come back!I wish I could give MORE than five stars!

It doesnt matter what time of day you visit, this Ulta always has insanely long lines and only one or two registers open. I ran in today to buy a single thing. I spent over 20 minutes in line behind 14 people while 3 registers remained unopened. Definitely not worth it since there is a Sephora down the street that has never taken more than 5 minutes for check out in my experience.

This is one of my wife and daughters favorite places to go to when in Town Center. They spend lots of time in there while I jist stand around. Everyone is so friendly and helpful for them.
Had my 3yos first cut tonight. Marie did an AMAZING job! So sweet, patient, and a great cut too! I paid a lot of attention to the work being done at all of the stations. Very attentive stylists! Talking over what needed to be done or what exactly their customers wanted! Great experience!!
This store isnt well stocked and sometimes its hard trying to find a clean, unopened products sometimes because people like to open stuff to look inside if there are no testers available. Havent had issues with the staff, though. I occasionally have them ask me if I need help, but theyre mostly unobtrusive and accommodating when I do need help.
Every time I go here, I spend so much money :( But, I love Ulta Beauty. This location is great and the people are so helpful in finding what you need.

Took my 4 year old daughter for a mommy daughter salon day..she loved it..our stylist was Jaliena and she was amazing...she made my daughter feel like a princess and did an amazing job on my hair and my daughters. We are definitely going back to see her..for kids they offer a junior price!!
Selection is fine, but waited in a line at least 20 people long while other employees stood at the door talking and offered people in line bags to hold their items rather than opening another register. Ill avoid shopping here again.
During the 21 Days of Beauty event, my wife asked me to pick up some facial cleanser that was half off. I was hoping for a quick in and out but then saw how crowded it was due to the promotions. As I walked in, I noticed the long line at checkout.Well, to my surprise, they had staff available to help me quickly find what I was looking for. And when I got to checkout, they had all stations running smoothly and efficiently. I didnt have to wait long.What seemed like chaos turned out to be a well-oiled machine with great service.

Crammed when me and my husband went in. Where as Sephora it feels like you have room to move around, with Ulta its hard to move around in this store. That is the only down side I can give them. Its like they have outgrown the location.Other than that, nice staff and an amazing experience.
This store is so friendly. Most of the times the ladies will come up and ask me if I need help and I love that they have knowledge. Theres usually a group up front that just talk and stand there. Im not sure if theyre supposed to be greeters but they usually chat amongst each other. I love it here. Ill always come here for makeup.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I made an appointment for a makeup application as well as a style 2 weeks in advance for a maternity photo shoot. My appointment was at 3:30 pm on a Tuesday afternoon. The day of my appointment, Tuesday at 1 pm I got a voicemail from an employee at Ulta beauty bar telling me they had no one in staff to do my makeup. I promptly return the call as my appointment was 2 hours from the voicemail and my photos were that evening. The girl I spoke with told me that the makeup artist that was scheduled to do my makeup quit the day before and that they had no one to do my makeup. Bascially apologized and offered me no alternatives whatsoever. What kind of customer service is calling someone 2 hours prior to an appointment to tell them that? You couldnβt have called the day before to let me know? Thank goodness I was able to get in somewhere else on less than two hours notice. I will NEVER give this store my business again.
This place is an absolute Castle LOL of everything you could possibly need in cosmetics, hair, and style period that you can have a salon where you can get your hair done. You can get your hair colored cut and styled. They also install extensions ask for Marie she is awesome and the rest of her team kicks but too! I love Ulta!

This store has the worst service. I walked in on a Friday night, Jan.10th and I wasnt greeted by anyone and no employee ever asked if I needed help. The store wasnt busy at all. There were plenty of employees standing around but no one said anything to me. The only person I spoke to was the cashier. This was my first visit to an ULTA store and I went because I received a gift card for Christmas, but I will definitely never go back tot his store ever again
These five stars are really for Jenny. Im having problems trying to get my Clinique regimen the way I need to get it. I went in and talked with Jenny and she really seemed interested in helping me and gave me some ideas as well as some samples, including a very large sample of the clarifying lotion she thought would work best for me. Jenny youre awesome!
It is unfortunate the customers make a great place for all your beauty needs so messy and it is cluttered. No they didnt have much of what I was looking for. But it could have simply been just throw on another shelf. I should have known to just order it online.π€·ββοΈ

I am over the moon about my hair cut from Adrienne. Since moving to Florida I have had to embrace my curly hair and Adrienne did such a wonderful job to help me with that. I have always been nervous about getting my hair cut - I have had hair stylists who have sent me home in the middle of my blow out because they just couldnt deal with my hair anymore. I now search for people who specialize in cutting curly hair. Adrienne took her time, listened to my concerns and really focused on giving me a great hair cut. Now it looks super healthy, my curls are bouncy and more managable and I am finally proud to show off my curly hair after some of the tips she gave me. I have been getting compliments on my hair ever since and I could not be happier with the outcome. If I were not moving from Florida she would be my go to girl.
The staff is always so helpful and attentive to my questions. They always offer the best products and deals. I use their ulta app and the drugstore make up they have can always be returned which I take advantage of. Several employees at this store have helped me find the perfect liquid eyeliner
This is the worst location ever! The line always wraps around to the back of the store and they ALWAYS ONLY have 2 people working the register. I hate shopping there I try to avoid it. They need better management or hire more people.
Used to have good experiences coming here but today was so unpleasant. I understand that itβs the associates job to offer several products but today I asked an associate where a specific primer was. She then proceeded in guiding me towards a complete different product she insisted I buy It over the other one. She then continued to say she wasβeducatedβ and she knew that product would work for me. First of all I could care less if youβre βeducatedβ If I ask you about a product donβt pressure me to buy something else. After I told her no thank you she left to the next lane and kept eyeing me to see what product I would end up getting then continued following me. I totally get that the employee is there to help but to a certain extent give me so space!!!

I know nothing when it comes to beauty. Ive been here twice now for hair and makeup products. Both times employees have seen me staring and overwhelmed and have asked if I needed help. Both times these ladies have been so patient and nonjudgemental. They didnt make me feel dumb or embarrassed - which is really the biggest fear in these situations! Ill keep coming back everytime just for the comfort of knowing they are there to help and dont make it seem like trouble at all! Thank you!
