Kim was my daughter’s stylist. She washed, blow dried, straightened and restyled her hair for a The National American Teen and Collegiate Pageant-July 2021.My daughter won her crown as Miss Stay Gorgeous Girls Ambassador FL 2021/2022 and she absolutely loved her hairstyles.We will be coming back and utilizing Kim. She’s awesome!

Not a review but a comment. Was considering going here. Interesting that with every bad review, the owner comments and dismisses customer concerns while defending their position. Not sure this is good customer service. Also, grammar and sentence structure should be evaluated.

Tiffany the owner is the bomb. She came thru for me at the last minute on my birthday for a last min wig install when she was supposed to be off. Brought my daughter back for braids and TT had her in and out in 5 hours. They even bought my daughter lunch. Much appreciated. Thank you ladies.

The studio was great. It was very clean and comfortable. Loved the pink walls as well. I saw Ebony and she was great! Absolutely no complaints. Will definitely visit again.

Very talented and nice atmosphere. Staff is very professional. I went from having dredlocs for over 20 years to my first lace front wig. And I did not have to cut my dreds off. Very pleased and satisfied.

My experience was something I have never witness before. They don’t talk, it’s a shop of secrets. They r always whispering between each other sooo rude. They think it is proper to behave this way. They will make u wait…long waits. I’m happy I found another shop more pleasant. Where I can ask questions without getting attitude…where I get what I ask for within reason.GlamHair wants you to come in wait … once in the chair … u better not say nothing just let them work on you. This is not professional since I am spending my MONEY!!! I earned righteously…No life in this shop. They need to learn how to clean up around their. Stank!!!!

Oh mine!! Where do I begin!!I called Thursday night having a panic attack because I was trying to get my hair done before my command Christmas party. My appointment for Thursday night was taking forever so I stopped doing my hair. I called this salon and I was extremely happy when they told me they could take me in the following day. After 15 minutes of scheduling my appointment I got a call cancelling my appointment because they were overbooked, but they could take me in Saturday at1300. I was not mad because I knew they were trying to accommodate me. Saturday come and I called them at 1215 to confirm my appointment, but I was informed they could not locate my appointment for the current Saturday but the following Saturday the 21st of December 2019. My first thought was why would I schedule an appointment after the party? I knew I did not schedule the appointment for the 21st but the 14th because my phone kept a transcript of my conversation with them. Anyway, they told me they could take me in but 15 minutes after my appointment, for me 15 minutes is nothing because of my experience with black hair salons. The rep I spoke to informed me to come in and they would start shampooing me at 1315. 1300 I arrived in the parking lot, 1305, I went in and a young lady led me to the back to wait for the stylist. When I got there, she had just started a client’s hair, should have been a sign, but I wanted my hair done so I sat and wait. She offered me wine and water, which I thought was kind. I kindly declined and she informed me she would start my hair once she’s done with her client, remember now my appointment is for 1315. Once I sat down I assumed they would set me up for shampooing, but nope. Waiting and waiting; then 1345 she asked one of the gentleman who came in to take me to the wash area, and she would be there in 5 minutes. I informed the gentleman I prefer to wait in the waiting area. I waited for about 10 more minutes before I started calling other salons, because I knew there was no way she would have started my hair in the next 30 minutes, and I was not willing to pay for subpar service. I was able to find a place and they took me in at last minutes. When I lived in Hawaii, African American females struggle to find places to do their hair. Being in Jacksonville I didn’t imagine getting my hair being a problem. I’m all about supporting my brothers and sisters, but we have to do better. Scheduling appointments on top of appointments knowing there’s a 90% chance you’ll overlap is unsat. I’m willing to pay for quality but customer service for me is a must especially when it’s my hard earned money. Based on my experience, I will strongly advise not going to this place. I’ve wasted 2 hours of my time( to include driving to the appointment) and gas money to go to this place. Terrible customer service, and they may want to invest in a planner to keep track of appointments. Listen to the yelp reviews, especially the one stars.

Bri put in crochet braids my daughter hair and my hair also ..... I was in out of the chair in no time it looks so good. Also this location is close to where I live . And the price is awesome they even take the braids out for you no extra charge 🤗.... I really felt comfortable in nice clean Work environment 💯 Ill definitely will be returning in the future

I went here a month ago I been going here for a while but as of my last visit I am VERY disappointed I went for a sew in w-a closure which should take a max of 3 hours to do I was in the salon until 8pm my appointment was at 12 I was on time so that shouldn’t have been a issue . Selena the hair washer did a great job shampooing and that’s all she needs to do she was told to blow dry my hair and braid me down for my sew in out of all my years living I never had someone try to blow dry my hair without sectioning it off I’m natural with extremely curly hair and she didn’t even start from the ends to blow dry it and tangled my hair all up and kept trying to ask “ does my hair normally tangle up “ she then was told to do my braid down which she clearly didn’t know how to do and had to do it over and over until finally the original lady who was suppose to do my sew in took over . I don’t know what they put in my hair I’m taking my sew in down now and it feels as if they poured a bottle of syrup All over my head the glue which was used for my closure had my hairline itchy and the front of my hair is sticky as well I use to like coming here when bri did my hair now since she is gone I don’t recommend this place to nobody !!!!!! PERIOD ! If you don’t know how to do hair do not play with Peoples hair or money 175$ gone done the drain when one of my friends who work from home could of done a better job ! Sorry but not sorry

If I could give this shop zero stars I would I was a loyal customer for years at the salon and then the owner decided to lie to me about my appointments and where they were due to that they were on a trip this shop is very disloyal and does not know how to keep their customers very happy. They have a high turnover on rate with their employees and I would not recommend the shop to anyone at all.

I went in for an appointment March 7,2019 for my hair 2b washed, conditioned, protein treatment, knots bleached on wig, hair braided down &wig sewn on. Not fond of glue on my wigs & I expressed that to the stylist. She insisted that glue be used. I agreed thinking that glueing wigs was the only way they know how to put wigs on. I was not elated or really happy lookN or acting when leaving the shop like the owner said I was in her response to my 1st review. I was mutual thinking “ give the new style a try”otherwise I wouldn’t be writing a negative review if I were truly happy. Omw home my hairline started to ITCH! The glue would melt &get on my forehead & itch my forehead once I got home I had an allergic reaction & broke out in hives. My airways were not constricted so I took Benadryl & it was uncessary to go to hospital bcause the Benadryl took down my hives. The same night I got my hair done I replied back to glam hair email asking to rate my visit. I rated poorly &told them Y. They called me the next day & I asked to come in so they can take the glue out my hairline &braids. It was NOT 4 drops of glue. The stylist couldn’t take me March8 for a late appt & I can never go early bcause my mother can’t get my kids until 4:50 during weekdays. so I had to take Sat.March9 @2pm. I scheduled for furniture to be delivered to me at 9am earlier that week but they delivered late at 1:30pm & I had to be home to receive my stuff. I called Glam to reschedule appt cause there was no way I’d make it on time cause they are not near me. They said they were closed Sunday so I called Monday& no one answered all day. Tuesday I spoke to Tiffany & I explained to her Y I couldn’t come in last week fri cause the stylist wasn’t available when I needed,told her about my furniture mishap, &my allergic reaction & she had the nerve 2 say some sh*t like” your health should’ve been more important than your furniture” as if she were implying that I was lying about my hives4rm the glue or that the urgency to remove it was not urgent. UNPROFESSIONAL/RUDE AF! I asked 2 come in Wedn Mar.13 but The stylist wasn’t going to b available 4me. Her next late appt. was thurs. mar.14@6pm I ACCEPTED! I was told I would be charged $40 4her to fix her $187 mess but I just wantD it fixed at that point. I showed up to my appt mar.14th only to be told 4rm the stylist herself saying “you never scheduled your appt. when you called (tues.mar.12th)& said u would call back & schedule, Tiffany had u on speaker phone & I was listening &we heard you say that.”they may have had me on speaker but I recorded the WHOLE conversation bcause I was feeling uneasy about those females & the recording that I still have CLEARLY has me scheduling for Mar.14 2019@6pm with Tasha. I live no where near glam hair studio so Id never make a mishap like that & waste money for an Uber across town! You know, had the attitudes not have been so GROSS, & the professionalism on “10”, I wouldn’t have sh*t to say. Never have I ever wrote a review on ANYTHING, but Glam hair studios DEFINITELY got one out of me. Its cool though bcause I had a jcpenny stylist fix their mess & I was also told from the stylist that fixed my hair that glam hair stylists braid down was braided incorrectly, my wig was barely sewn on, knots barely bleached & she had to remove ALOT of glue not “4drops”...P.S GLAM HAIR STUDIO, y’all made fun of me for trying natural home remedies for hair growth (that have actually worked 4me) 4rm YouTube saying “it’s all In my head” but I’m sure I could’ve “YouTubed” a better job than y’all did!!! The service was great and i got what i asked . plus my stylist was really nice .

The only issue I had was I called to confirm my appointment and it was confirmed. A few hours later I was called asking if I could reschedule. Vm was left.If I have a set time then rescheduling becomes an inconvenience. My first appointment was rescheduled so to reschedule my second appointment was a complete turnoff. Then I had to make an appointment somewhere else.🤦‍♀️
