Every time I visit this store I receive outstanding customer service. The employees go out of there way to help. They make shopping there very fun, and they are attentive to your needs. Julio, Katrina, Ann, and Kathy have all made my shopping experience outstanding.The store is full of beautiful high quality furnishings. I am very pleased with everything I have purchased in this store. Returning and exchanging is made very simple as well. I highly recommend this store for all household decor.

During a recent visit to the store this week, we met and worked with Suave. He was very personable, knowledgeable, fun and is clearly talented. He helped us choose a few pieces for our home and we can’t wait for them to be delivered. We will definitely ask for him the next time we return!

Suave Gordon was a pleasure to work with in selecting 4 fabrics for recovering 3 sets of chairs and a sofa. We have several candidates for pillows & accents, but want to wait until the upholsterer finishes before working with Suave to make a final selection. Very personalized service.

We shopped at Ballard in Jacksonville twice before purchasing and had a great experience with the help of Suave Gordon. Both times he was helpful and honest in putting our dining room together. Excellent customer service!

I spent several hour in the store with Suave Gordon, Design Consultant. He was professional, patient and fun! I had several items that I wanted to see in person. The store is magical. Suave was great at allowing me to see different pieces together and was so kind when I would change my mind or want to go back to something we already put together. All the staff were happy to help but not in a pushy sales way. I highly recommend you make a trip to this store. I have never been disappointed with the quality of Ballards products and I am equally impressed by the caliber of their employees.

I have purchased many furniture items from this company and this store in the past and been pleased every time. Not the case with my most recent purchase.I purchased an ottoman in February of 2021 aware of delays and material shortages. I was notified late August that my ottoman would be delivered August 30th by FragilePak per Ballard Designs. FragilePak would call me the day prior to give me a four hour window, as well as 30 minutes prior the day of delivery. I received neither. I was home all day so this was not a problem for me. Needles to say my delivery never showed up. I contacted BD on August 31 to let them know, thinking it was just a fluke, we would reschedule a delivery date and all would be fine. The nice person I spoke with told me it would be 3 days before they would reach out to me and let me know what is going on. On September 3rd I reached out again asking for some answers. I quickly received an email saying the delivery company has proof it was delivered with a signature and sent the proof the signature was a straight line. Clearly not mine. It is insulting when you tell me that my delivery was delivered and I contacting you for a second time stating it was not. I have 3 cameras that cover my front door, my driveway and my whole front yard. I also have a delivery time stated on my proof of delivery. I have also read many horrible reviews on the new delivery company that BD is using. As I mentioned earlier I have purchased many large items (20 plus), most that have needed to be delivered from BD, I have never had a problem when they used JB Hunt . I always had professional and reliable service in the past.Now I am having to get my credit card company involved to have my money returned as BD does not seem concerned with this problem. This was my last purchase for myself as well as for my family. Lack of communication is the biggest problem and that is the reason for this review.

Ordered Orb chandelier from store which I was told was in stock and would have it within 7 business days. I made sure and asked twice as I needed it for a party. Two weeks later no light!!! I called and was told it was on back order. Why was I not informed of this at store at time of purchase? Very bad communication. So disappointed that no discount was even offered for the inconvenience and miscommunication to a valued customer.

Karina made my experience very lovely. I think ordering through the store is a way better idea as the online shipping price and shipTime is asinine.Ballards could definitely do w/o the Mask Hall Monitor Lady thankIng everyone for “social Distancing” and “wearing a mask.” Super Weird guys... and creepy

Always great customer service

I would put 0 stars if I could. I have ordered from this store 4 or 5 times. There has been damage each time I purchased something. I have had to return and only have bought items because I wanted the credit card instead of buying the full amount up front. I rather do payments. I am regretting buying anything from here.

I have been buying from the Jacksonville store for the past few years. Love love this store, friendly and courteous....I was very sad when they were closed during the covid shut down but so glad they are up and running now.I understand its at limited staffing because of covid regulations. Thats OK, Im a patient women. We should ALL be at this time. This too shall pass.....

Updated review:Ballard Designs has beautiful furniture but the worse customer service of any company I have ever experienced. We bought an expensive piece of furniture. It came with multiple damages. They indicated no problem and picked up the damaged one and sent a new one. The piece on the second delivery had so many damages that the truck crew did not want to even unload it. The people in the store are very nice but have no authority to do anything. They told me I had to discuss refund with their corporate dispute center. Of course after leaving three messages with their dispute center no one called me back. I finally just reported this to American Express and they credited the large payment. I finally get a call back from Ballard indicating that it would take them three to four weeks to process a refund. I told them not to bother American Express is handling. Then a month later I get a notice from American Express that Ballard challenged the credit as the furniture was delivered. Luckily I have in writing from Ballard that the furniture was not delivered and have sent that to American Express. Ballard as a company could care less about the customer and I would not shop there ever again. It’s almost dishonest telling American Express that the furniture was delivered and challenging the credit. Consumer beware.

Worse customer service ever. After spending thousands with them, one item was defective and weve literally had to email and call and email and manage and follow up like 30 times. Finally received replacement part from Ballard and we simply cant get them to schedule our Furniture Medic service vendor. Never again

Finally got to experience the Ballard Design showroom after drooling over the catalogue for years! Loved the quality look and feel of the products. Heidi, the consultant who waited on me was very sweet and helpful. Will surely return.

Love Ballard Designs. My only problem is that so little that is offered online is available in this store. Ive gone many times looking for something that I found on their website and they dont carry it. They do offer to order it for you for free shipping (delivered to the store) so that is a very nice service. The staff is usually nice here. Some times they dont greet me or pay me any attention but for the most part they are nice and helpful.

Nice store for furnishings or gifts.

After purchasing several items from the catalog, I am no longer a customer. TWICE I ordered the Sea Hero Framed Art and TWICE it arrived shattered. When I called the local store, they had one canvas version but it was a Showroom Model and not for sale. If youre considering ordering one for delivery, DONT!

Every single staff memeber was so thoughtful and genuinely cared that I was getting the furniture I was so excited about!Absolutely the best customer service I have had, possibly ever.I found furniture I fell in love with online and called the store to ask for some additional advice on colors and pallets. The staff was so knowledgeable and friendly and even ended up placing my order for over the phone instead and having the items shipped to the store to save me hundreds of dollars!Thank you again ladies for all your help! I will definitely be using Ballard for all my design needs from here on out!
