Went in for my appt. it was at 2:00 but didn’t get seen until 2:30.When seen the culture for my skin was brief and explanation of what to do or what it could be was very quick. Only seen for like 5 minutes. This placed just lacked a person touch.Hopefully I was diagnosed correctly. But overall with the price of self pay, it was okay!

When I called to make an appointment, I was pleasantly surprised someone picked up after the first ring. They were polite and very helpful. I got an appointment for later the same day.The Doctor, was very knowledgeable, informative and took time to listen, examine and explain to everything to my satisfaction.Highly recommend.

Pippar she is the best, I always recommended to all my friendsBut I just surprised today by the cost visit, I met a nurse practitioner today only 10 minutes, the visit cost $ 242.23, yes, after 15% off cause I don’t have a insurance I paid $ 169.56, I told the recipient the last time a paid $113, she told me the cost increase this year because the COVID pandemic, she was rude and impress me, can you check please because at the phone they told a different number.So my question if somebody low income and no insurance, single mom, part time job worked whole week to get 200$ pay check less than cost of the visit even, I got upset and disappointed, it should be less for patients without insurance, low income and get discount more then 15%Thanks

I was pleased with the service and Atmosphere of the clinic. Although it is quite a busy clinic but i was satisfied and pleased with the results of my chemical peel.

UPDATE: I wrote a complaint with Texas Medical Board and it prompted the management team to take a look at my file. The director of operations gave me a call and apologized for what happened and they were able to find that they had the necessary information in time to file with the insurance company. The manager of the billing department is no longer there and theyve rescinded the file with the collection agency. I dont think it should have to take a complaint with the board to get attention from any practice, but Im glad the truth came out. With that said, the doctor and medical staff there were very friendly and well be coming back there for our yearly check up.There was an issue with billing at the Katy location. Their billing department does not take care or make any effort to bill your claims correctly. Simple errors made and they wait so that youre forced to pay out of your pocket. They do not attempt to help you at all when they can easily do so with appeals. A claim paid by you instead of your insurance yields them more money. Ive tried consistently to communicate with them but its their tactic to delay so that it passes the claims timely filing date. Not even a response from their billing or office manager with phone calls and written letter.

I honestly had no hope when I came in, but I’m so grateful I did 6 months ago. Dr. Nguyen really did a great job with my acne. I have my confidence back and I can go out without makeup, I feel like I’m myself again and I can never thank you enough!! And the staff is very friendly and always very good at following up with me. Dr.Nguyen only prescribed things I could afford because she knows I’m a student lol and I’m just so blown away with my results, I wish I could post them for everyone to see because they’re just so amazing!!

I dont think these people care about your insurance. they just want to charge you out of pocket. My insurance covers everything, and they charged me almost $400 for a check up. now I have to deal with this

Went to have a consultation about hair loss which seemed simple enough. I had to wait about half an hour just so I could get into the place and then waited another fifteen minutes to be seen at almost 2:30 for an appointment that was supposed to be at 1:45.When they finally came in I explained the issues I’ve had and I wanted to know about PRP which is like a hair loss solution. Instead they basically gave me two pieces of paper about hair loss, no prescription or anything just two sheets printed off a hair loss website that I already knew about. And this all happened in 10 minutes. They didn’t care about what questions I had or gave me any treatment at all.Then after they rushed me out the door I went to go pay. And apparently the consultation was $120 after my insurance!!! FOR TWO PIECES OF PAPER!!! As a college student I am already strapped for money. It is a complete scam. I will not be returning again for my next appointment.

This clinic does not care about you lol, just your money. Trust me from experience of knowing this place, and the doctors. They are Money hungry non-empathetic people. Especially Dr. Duncan. You will feel like cattle, she will come in for few seconds until she can leave for the next one, always in a rush. And on top of that before this you already found yourself waiting over an hour in the waiting room even with an appointment! And on top of that.. nothing works she doesn’t even try nor cares, whatever issue you’re coming in for do not go here. Do better research and pay attention to the reviews! Ask people around etc. with this method I was able to find better dermatologists and overall doctors in general. Have patience! Do not go here. I absolutely would never recommend this doctor or this place ever.

I was treated by Dr. Marzuka, and at all times he showed professionalism, understanding my problem and given the pertinent treatment and recommendations. I recommend all the professional and care group of the Center located in Pearland, especially Dr. Marzuca.

Dr Rivera is awesome! She provides great personal care. She takes her time and educates her patients on how to take care of their skin. I appreciate the time she spent with me and in answering my questions. The office staff is friendly and super efficient!

Advanced Dermatology in Katy, TX deserves an exceptional rating because of many factors. Dr. Duncan and her staff treated me with patience, understanding, and did a fantastic job treating me with derma fillers. Since it was my first time getting derma fillers they were very helpful, informative and honest. I didn’t feel pressured to add products or procedures at any time. Excellent customer care! The front office staff, nurses, and consultants were outstanding. Also, I didn’t have to wait for more than 10 minutes for any of my visits and all COVID precautions were followed at every visit. I love the results and will be returning when I need more procedures.

Beware! My husband and I have been using Advanced Dermatology for years but no longer. I received a bill from a collection agency for a visit I had in March 2020. This was the first notice I received of a balance due. I went in for a rash on my legs and was quickly told it was Disney Rash and it would go away with rest. Doctor nitro froze a tiny mole/tag on hairline of face. Insurance paid $138 for visit but nothing for the freeze. They are charging me $260.49 for a 5 second freeze!

The only reason I said Good on the wait time, was just the fact that were still social distancing and when I went to pay, I had to stand in line behind 2 others who were checking in and that took quite a bit of time. Other than that, Dr. Nguyen responded to my problem with empathy and understanding. Ill definitely be back!

For some reason my post didnt transfer over the first time. So, I will type it again. Dr. Davis and staff were very thorough and attentive. Will definitely be back in the future and recommend to anyone who needs a great dermatologist, come here! You wont regret it!

I was botched on a pulsed dye laser treatment for some keloids I have. $300 just to get my hopes up. After months of getting corticosteroid injections I thought I was finally recommended to see a laser specialist. When I got there for consultation this was what was recommended for me. My keloids, after the procedure, hardened up and swelled even more. Im already self conscious of my body as is and this made me feel even worse about myself.

Customer service for billing services is nonexistent

From the first phone call until I left my appointment I was met with nothing but courteous professional caring people. I highly recommend this practice. The staff was knowledgeable about paperwork and made the process easy. The doctor was both patient professional and knowledgeable, she had gave me her full attention the entire time and answered questions thoroughly. She made sure I understood everything that was happening throughout my appointment.

I was treated like a valued patient upon entering the facility and during the whole process, including check out. The staff is top-notch. The reception personnel are friendly and made the check in seamless. The wait time was short and I was taken to the room by Alexa, a truly lovely young lady, who kept a smile on her face and interacted well. She even laughed at my corny jokes! Shayla was also very friendly and seemed to enjoy the humorous banter, as well. However, she was very thorough with her examination and explained what she was doing, why and what she was finding. Shayla explained what she found and the options available for treatment.I found Advanced Derm to be a great place to go for my dermatological examinations. The practice also assumes the headache of filing insurance for you.

The level of care is top notch. However, I will say that you guys need to work on your scheduling and seeing patients in a timely manner. For the past three visits, I have been called to the back at least 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I think it’s fair to say that my time should be valued just as much as yours. Ve seen many dermatologists before and they all just wanted to get me in and out as quick as possible...sometimes not even taking a look at my skin. So for a while, I gave up, but their doctors and nurses obviously care about their patients and take their time to get to know their patients. We created a game plan on how to get my skin back on track and it was the best experience Ive had at a dermatologist appointment.

She’s very sweet, professional and knowledgeable about the treatment and asked about my results from the first one. Called multiple times and could not get through. Tried after hours to leave a voicemail and it loops without a prompt or “beep.” Un professional.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! after 4 years of my daughter being on an antibiotic for her acne and nothing improving and my concerns about the prolonged daily use of an antibiotic, I insisted on switching to another staff member in the practice for another opinion. We had been seeing PA Rivera (who likes to only prescribe medicine that can be bought from a specialty pharmacy in Dallas and is never cover by insurance). I booked an appointment with Dr. Nguyen.Dr. Nguyen immediately put my daughter on an anti-fungal medicine because she said my daughter had been taking the antibiotic for so long it had caused a fungal infection on my daughters face!!! Why didnt the PA know that?!?!?! After a week of the anti-fungal, the doctor suggested Accutane. In order to be on Accutane, the doctor requires female patients to use 2 forms of birth control (pills and condoms) because Accutane will cause sever birth defects if you get pregnant while on it, so you are not allowed to get pregnant (I asked to around to other moms and they said that their daughters had to also do this before taking Accutane). The doctor wrote us a prescription for birth control pills and when my daughter picked them up at the pharmacy, it cost her $44 for a 1-month supply!!!!!I called insurance to see why the birth control pills were so expensive and they said it was because the pills were coded for the treatment of acne and NOT for preventing pregnancy. I explained the risk of getting pregnant while taking the acne medicine Accutane was the reason she had to have birth control pills; the doctor said it was to prevent pregnancy. Insurance said they will fax over a form to the doctor so the doctor can state that the use of birth control is to prevent pregnancy and then the cost of the pills will be $0.I called the doctors office 2 days later to see if they had received the fax and they had, and they listed on the insurance form that the birth control was for acne reasons and not to prevent pregnancy!!! I asked why my daughter had to be on birth control pills and the lady stated IT WAS FOR ACNE TREATMENT!!!!. I told her then that I didnt want that medicine for acne and only wanted the Accutane. She said my daughter had to be on birth control to take Accutane. I asked her why and she didnt answer. I filled in the silence for her--it is because my daughter must PREVENT PREGNANCY!!!! Her response was that she will talk to Dr. Nguyen about changing the insurance code but it probably would not change. She called me back 10 minutes later and said that Dr. Nguyen agreed--the birth control, while it was to prevent pregnancy, would be submitted to insurance with the code of acne because that was their practice and how they had always done it.Dr. Nguyen also mentioned in our original office visit that while on Accutane, my daughter would need to schedule a monthly appointment to take a pregnancy test and have a blood test to check the medication levels in her system because the dosage of the Accutane would be adjusted each month accordingly. When I mentioned that my daughter was leaving in 2 months for college out-of-state, she said that my daughter could set up a monthly virtual appointment where she could open a pregnancy test on camera, step off camera and pee on the stick, and then come back on camera to show me that it is negative. I asked if that was going to be considered a normal office visit and incur the $80 copay each time, and she said yes. I asked about the blood test part to check the medication levels in her system and Dr. Nguyen said we wouldnt worry about that part!!!!! WHAT??? That seems like a VERY IMPORTANT step to skip!!!!!I strongly suggest staying away from this practice!!!! I dont think the right hand knows what the left hand is doing--they dont seem very professional at all.

This office is so unprofessional, careless and a complete ripoff. The owners look down at their customers and they will refuse to speak to you since they consider us to be beneath them despite spending thousands of dollars at their office. I had Fraxel procedures here, and I was not happy with the results. I was burned and I began bleeding during the procedure, which caused a big scar. My acne scars are still there. They took forever to respond to my review on Google, and I was asked to call and speak to Magdalena, who is the office manager. I addressed my concerns to her, and she said shed call me back, but she never did. I called and asked to speak to the owners, and they refused to take my call. The only thing theyre good for is taking your money and then ignoring you. The right thing to do is to reimburse me.

I was really looking forward to my appointment with this place. It is in a great location and when I made my appointment, the person I spoke with was friendly. My appointment was for 5:15 pm, so I made sure I got there early to ensure I had time to fill out paper work since it was my first visit. They did appear to be busy which is normal. I was asked did I fill out info online which I replied, no. I wasnt made aware that I should do so when I scheduled my appointment. So I filled out all of my paper work and proceeded to wait. After about 10 minutes, there was an announcement that they apologize about the long wait and they were behind. I had no problem with this. However, as I was waiting, I noticed that a few people came in after me and the lobby soon was clear. I was the only person left. No one thought to communicate how much longer it would be. By this time it was 5:45 pm. I decided that I would reschedule. I was disappointed that they were simply not concerned that I new patient was way behind her scheduled time. I spoke with the young man and asked ti reschedule, he did not try to check to see if I would be seen shortly, he just immediately proceeded to ask what time and day would be good for me. Yes and he referred to me as McGee, and Im Brown and that annoyed me because McGee was coming back out from his appointment and I knew this because one of the employees called his name to come back and get something. This young man told me he needed to step away from the desk to see the schedule. So as he stepped away, my name was finally called. So I proceeded to go back and he noticed this and did not say anything else. The female employee that took me to the room was very apologetic and very nice. She made me aware that it was a very busy day and she was very apologetic about the wait. After she gathered some info from me, finally Heather came in. The doctor. She had a big smile, but I detected an undertone of rushing. She asked me a few questions and quickly went into some recommended medications, which one was oral and I had to get blood work done to be able to take it. She really left no room for question and I felt very put off and this is just a routine day of another case of acne. She stated they use a special pharmacy and ran down very quickly a routine I would do with the recommended medications. She saw that I had a very confused look and offered to write it down for me. I asked her how could I get my blood work to their office and she stated I would have ti fill out a medical history release form. So when she left away, it was like, YEAH BYE, SEE YOU IN SIX WEEKS! Like a feeling of, YES, OFF TO HAPPY HOUR! I was COMPLETELY ANNOYED! When I checked out, there was no info about prescriptions to be called in, no medical history release form, no offering to schedule my next appointment, no thank you for choosing us. Just slide that card, thank you and bye! Needless to say, never again! If I have typos, please excuse. I had to type this up as soon as I could.Respectfully,Shellery

Our child wasnt even looked at for a skin tag. The PA walked in, said that he was too young for any kind procedure and left it at that. Didnt explain that we should come back when hes XX months/years old and we can address it then. He was never evaluated and the skin tag wasnt looked at. I know cause Mom had the skin tag side to her chest. Wasnt in the room any longer than 7 minutes and the PA wasnt in there any more than 1 minute. The appointment shouldnt have been accepted in the first place if he was too young! Theyll take our money of course! We then get a bill in the mail for the visit on top of all this. When he is old enough to be able to handle anything, we certainly wont be coming back here. So do your homework before you make any appointment and make sure they will even be able to treat you before you waste your time and your money!

I visited their Office yesterday for the first time and I would like to let everyone know what i experienced there.The doctor was good .But i was treated very rudely and badly by a nurse . she is Ms.AMRI.She did not even allow me to sit in the doctors office.I dont know why.I could sense a kinda discrimination or hatred i dont know to what to call.the way she collected the information on the issue for which i visited the office was very rude ...the tone was very very rude.. and then when i was about to sit in a chair she did not let me ..this was very strange in USA which i have never experienced anywhere.I tried to reach their management and they did not allow me .I do not recommend this office because Not only the treatment for health condition should be good and the way they treat you during the visit should also be good.

PA Heather Tran in Pearland was amazing, she was super nice and knowledgeable!!Its only been one day since she put me on the new medication and cream and I havent felt this good in way too long suffering from my horrible rashes, im scheduling to go back for my follow up in two weeks :)

Ok quality care but terrible customer service and wait times. I’ve had multiple back to back wait times of almost an hour. I would rather receive a text to come a later time before I arrive than wait for an hour without a explanation. The front desk workers haven’t a clue either and so it’s extremely frustrating. The whole system is geared to take your money anyway they can. You have come in for appointments, just for information, then won’t give you information unless you book another appointment. Then you have time back again . I was told I had to have a full body scan in order to have 2 itchy spots looked at. Then the doc said do you want me to just freeze them? I ASKED first..., does insurance cover it? Yes. I go to check out and was told very rudely that the 2 little spots fell under my “surgical deductible” which I had not met.., SURGERY????? Are you kidding me? I was mislead. The front desk was rude, and offered a payment plan. I would never go to this system.., they are a scam!

Dr. Ingraham made a very holistic assessment of my case and made recommendations accordingly. Everything was done fast. The place was clean, very accessible and the staff was great. I had an excision done 2 weeks ago by Dr. Pelster and his medical assistant, Liz (she was awesome). For a procedure I dreaded, it ended up being totally painless and they were so personable and friendly I forgot I was having surgery as it was happening! They provided thorough wound care instructions, which I followed and had my stitches taken out by them today. At only two weeks post excision, it is looking far better than I thought it would. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Pelster!
