Merle Norman sounds like someplace your mother might have visited. However, Id been hearing its keeping up with the times. I had a few minutes to spare and wandered in. Oh, wow! Dory is amazing! I took my daughter to get her ears pierced for her birthday. She was friendly, patient, and helpful.The store is meticulously clean and located in a cute shopping area that is extremely kid friendly.Would definitely recommend to anyone!

The place was very clean, and the staff did my ears very quickly and efficiently. The earrings cost $75-$90 which is more than they advertised, but otherwise very satisfied. The earrings are also very good quality.

I never leave reviews but can’t say enough good things about the owner of this shop. She’s professional but very caring and knowledgeable. I highly recommend visiting especially for ear piercing.

I was recommended by a friend for my baby’s ear piercings. We drove about 30 minutes to this location but it was well worth it. I cannot thank you enough for your patience with my baby. The lady that took care of us was so sweet and paid so much attention to detail. My sister, mom and I left so pleased with your service and my daughters ears look fantastic!

Great experience piercing ears for my baby

Based on positive reviews, I decided to call this location regarding getting my 11 yr old daughters ears pierced. I called just to see if they were open and reached the owner Dory Staggs. Even though they are not typically open on Sundays she told me she lived close and would open up the store just for us! What?!? Talk about small town service in the big city. I already had the feeling based on this phone conversation that she would care to do a good job. Having previously had a bad experience at Claires with the piercing gun getting jammed while doing my teenagers ears (took 10 minutes and lots of tearful yanking to get it unstuck), we were really looking for a higher quality experience this time around. We drove 30 min. from central Houston to the Cinco Ranch area for our appt. It was a wonderful experience from the peaceful, quiet of being the only customers in the store, to Dorys careful warm demeanor, we were in good hands. I watched her sanitize every piece thoroughly and use a seamstress ruler to measure multiple times. She explained that she would use a metal piercing gun that had worked very successfully for her. Such a refresher to get the piercing done by the seasoned owner of the store who has had many piercings under her belt. Cant speak for the cosmetics, but I can definitely give Dory, her customer service approach and the ear piercing service an enthusiastic 5 stars.
