Zero customer service skills. The workers couldn’t be bothered to even acknowledge me, stood at the register for 5 minutes, and nothing. Put my stuff back and left.

The owners are nice people, good quality food, very clean and organized.I found items that I used to buy from federal way Russian store which was too far from my home.I’m glad that I found my European foods and breads in this place.We need to support small businesses now more than ever. I greatly appreciate this business in my community.

Most of items are with dates expired in 2020... I wonder how inspection didn’t close them yet

Good selection of European items. Bread is great. Cakes look good but are dry (maybe thats how they are meant to be?). I wish their cashiers were friendly - they act like they are there for forced labor, zero customer service. Also, they dont always have their masks over their nose.

Old moldy taste of Russia. If thats your thing, or Russian. Rude if not. I am not.

Well kept market with mostly Eastern European goods with a smattering of some German items. The deli offers a good selection of various salamis, sausages and the like. I would have given the store a higher rating but was dismayed to see nearly all the employees wearing their masks below their noses. If that wasn’t enough, apparently you don’t need to wear a mask if you come in to buy something. Yes, there is signage on the door, but I was there when at least 3 to 4 young men entered at different times with no masks...and proceeded to buy what they wanted. I guess if you don’t mind the higher risk of being exposed to the corona virus in a small store, then Taste of Europe may be worth a visit.

I have been coming here periodically for a few years, and it never disappoints! Tons of hard to find eastern European grocery staples. The bread and baked goods are always fresh and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. I will be back for sure.

Great selection, rude and indifferent employees. Youre lucky if they even acknowledge your presence. I still go there since there are things I cannot find elsewhere, but if I could, Id never step inside.

Customer service horrible cashier didnt understand English so the owner had to come to assist me. The cashier and owner was unfriendly.

They sell expired meats and don’t have expiration date on them. Good luck!

I would give them a 0 if I could. These people sell old, expired food!! I bought a stick of kalbasa from them took it took home and opened up the plastic and the meat was all slimy and sticky! Thats how you know the meat went bad. It was disgusting and sad. I have heard from others in past this is normal they always sell expired food and unfortunately had the experience myself. So please if you want good European food go to marvel and deli in auburn! This place is sad selling old meats... one of the ladies as well told me one of the meats isnt fresh so had me grab another one ... dont waste your money.

The worst!If I Could give 0 starts, 👎I would.So today I went to this store, actually I was warned that they sell old productsnit just expired but this is new level of arrogance.They sold me exact the same products with different price and due that they don’t have a scan they entered the biggest price for those.The owner of the store apparently was next to the employee and saw that she made a mistake and instead of pointing out just let me go. Home I checked the check and had no words!

Expired many products, so disappointed.Marvel Food is the best in Auburn, always fresh products, not close to my home but it’s worth!

I used to buy here candies and bakary products until I found worms inside of candies.

Looks like everything is expired, when I tried to talk to them about that, there was zerrro attention . Workers words ( if the product doesn’t have the expiration date, don’t buy it, it’s bad ) I checked like 10 different products for expiration date and guess what none of them have it

Dont like this place at all, they always had a Grandma working there everytime I would go, who barely speaks English and doesnt know how to Smile or even say Hello to people..I went in and she looked at me and said what you want?? Then theres the Overpriced products. Anyways Worst of the European stores Ive seen around here or anywhere..Not speaking English I can get past, but TERRIBLE customer service and a bad attitude in general everytime you go there, I cannot...

Dissapointing place, sells old pastries

I shop here all the time, they have great produce, and bakery too. They have a HUGE deli selection. Taste of Europe provides a very nice alternative to your corporation style grocer.

We love coming to your store!!! My girls were adopted from Ukraine and it is a wonderful thing that we get to keep their culture alive and I learned how to make borscht and we enjoy it very much

This is an ok store,wish customer service was better. When I come to any grocery store I expect to see good dates on each product,(smoked cheese) dont got experation date or when it was packaged:( .some Candys are expired:( and or dates are close to experation date. I cant deny I love the seeds and the prices. Store is some what clean. I will return to this store,but if they dont work on having dates on all products, I will probably either stop coming or have inspection come by and take a look..

I rarely go to this store.TOO MUCH LATE !!!!Ready-made salads - expired / sour; borscht is sour. Many products have no expiration date at all, and many have a new sticker over the expired date with a fresh date. Particularly upsetting were childrens products (Kinder Surprise, milk sticks, etc.)You point out to the cashier about the delay - the reaction is shocking. The cashier apologizes at best and puts the expired item back on the shelf with a calm face.
