So I have purchased three new Hyundais from Automax in the last month: a 2021 Santa Fe and two 2021 Elantras. This makes five car deals in the last three years with Automax. Automax has provided the best all around dealership experience I have ever had. These last three deals I worked with Gabriel in sales and Mike, the sales manager. All three deals were good deals from my perspective. They know I do my homework and they have been willing to go the extra mile to earn my business. When there were minor issues they were attentive and responsive to finding solutions. Gabriel is kind-hearted and easy going, the opposite of a high pressure salesperson you might have experienced elsewhere. He is honest and transparent and doesn’t pretend to know things that he doesn’t know but is eager to offer to find out and look into things you ask about. I admire that.So I would wholeheartedly recommend Automax Hyundai. While no dealership is perfect, this one is the closest I have found. And if you haven’t taken a look at Hyundai, do so. In my opinion, they are designing and building some fantastic vehicles and offer the best value in the industry!

7 hours one way from home when car stopped preforming due to an engine recall. Was immediately scheduled in and engine replaced and back on road approx 3 weeks later. Always updated on status of approval and completion in a timely manner. Always able to text and get response. Car ready when texted I was on my way...Justin treated me professionally and took time to talk and explain process on a personal level.

We bought our Elantra on 06/25/21 online. Tyler was awesome during the process, but the problems began after we signed the paperwork.There was an issue with the brand new car. We were told it would be fixed immediately, that the part would be in next day. Okay, not a problem except days later it still wasnt done. They finally seemed to get on the ball when we said we were picking it up on the 25th. We were told it would be ready at 11 am.When we got there, it took 20 minutes for Michael to get the car. We then had to sign other papers we werent told about. What if I hadnt gone? We live 2 hours away one-way. Then.....oh we are going to take it back to be detailed. It was supposed to be ready. We had our newborn with us. My husband ended up waiting another 2 1/2 hours!He was in a rush. When he made it to me we realized the car was damaged. Paint in the door missing and the door guard (is that what it is called) was ripped. Two other spots on the car were damaged. A supposedly brand new car and they didnt realize when they detailed it?!I emailed the manager Michael. No response. I text Tyler on 06/29 and Michael emails back that hes developing a plan to take care of it. Nothing since. Crickets. Our calls and emails are dodged by both Michael and his manager. No one is fixing it after saying they would.Dont do it. Go somewhere else.

When I went in I was nervous about the whole process because it was my first time buying a car; however, right from the beginning the customer service was great and I felt welcomed. I have to start off by saying Our salesman was excellent! .The car on the other hand was not. We bought a 2022 Elantra limited for our teenage daughter. Very beautiful car! As we took a trip in her car to a remote place for a sports event, I tried to wash the bugs off the windshield But, the windshield wipers didnt work! The water did, but NOT the wipers! So I had dead bugs mixed with water and no wipers, driving at about 70 miles an hour! The high beam lights didnt work either! Huge safety issue! Was fuming at the thought of, what if my daughter, a new driver was alone and it was raining out??? We bought her a new car for the safety features a new car brings! Highly disappointed in Hyundai of Killeen and their service facility! The car should have gone through a thorough inspection to make sure there were no issues before it was driven out of the lot!

They had great communication and presentation. They were very respectful and kind to me and assisted with my deal without any hesitation and false advertisement. I had a great experience and they were genuine about being able to come back to them for any assistance with the car. They laid out all the options I needed to see after listing all of my demands and they were not pushing me to go after what they wanted instead.

Im going to cut to the chase. Verify everything that they tell you is equipped on the vehicle. A week after buying my 21 Hyundai Palisade is when I found out that one of the key features that led me to the purchase was not equipped like they said it was. Buying experience was great minus this issue, and for me its not a small issue.

At 1 time I even recommended people to buy vehicles here, In January I sent a friend who purchased a friend who purchased a vehicle and Iand I still have not received the $200 refer a friend, It is now the middle of July. Approximately 2 weeks ago I brought my wifes car in because the engine light came on I Was told it would be kept 2 to 4 days And was told there was no loaners available.Well my car was kept 10 days and in that time not once was I called To tell me any updates. I had to call 5 different times and no one ever had answers. Today I brought my car in for a simple car care service and its been going on 4 hrs when I was told 2. I have a total of 5 vehicles Ive bought from them no more after today if this is how things are now.

Saw a decent deal advertised on AutoTrader.com. Verified the information on the dealers website. Called the dealer and asked for the out the door price. They asked questions and then called me back like 20 minutes later with the price. I drove an hour to get to the dealer and when they presented the paperwork the price had increased $3,000. I was told it was because I was not financing with them. However, the Hyundai incentive for financing was $2,250 and if you chose not to go that route you could still qualify for a $2,000 Hyundai incentive. So, no reason for the price to increase by $3,000. I argued and they lowered the price by $2,000. I continued to argue and they told me they go reduce it another $500 if I financed with them. I agreed, so they drew up the final offer...which only reduced the price by $150. Absolutely no ethics at this dealership. Go somewhere else.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!I brought a car from Automax in 2008. Payed it off. Loved it. TIMES HAVE CHANGED.I went to Automax a few months ago with no car to trade in and almost an 800 credit score. I now have a mid 600 credit score and upside down 10,000$ on a car I did not set out to have.I first got a used Land Rover. I did not like how it drove. It was a really rough ride. The check engine light came on. I took it back to the dealership. I should of listen to the lady in the waiting area that was there getting her money back on a car that blew up right after getting it. I also should of paid attention to all the BAD REVIEWS they have.I had to do a total trade in and I got an brand new Ford Edge. Almost 4000 miles out it totally broke down. (A belt came off) I was not taking it back.So I ended up getting a Hyundai Tucson. At signing time my credit score is mid 600 due to all the credit checks they ran and me not having Equity in the Ford that broke down. No rebates that was promised was “available”. I regret ever going there now . Not only do I have a lower credit score, and upside down 10,000$ I also missed out on work and upset I let this happen to me. I let my opinion be known and I was told this is all they could do. This will take almost 10 years to fix.DONT GO TO AUTOMAX!

DO NOT go to this dealership. THEY ARE CROOKS.For the 2nd vehicle in a row (the 1st one was rear ended and totaled) we agreed on a price only to get to processing to find out they added over 2 grand to the price. When questioned they said it was their add ons. When I was going to walk out only did they then give me the price that sales had quoted.On both vehicles I was promised lifetime oil and filter changes. On the 1st one I brought it to their service dept only to find the free service had not been entered into the computer. After about a 2 hour bout with the sales manager did they finally put it in the computer. After that car was wreaked and we replaced it with a new one we were told the lifetime service would be carried over to the old car.Took the car for maintenance this morning to found out once again it had not been entered into the computer. This time they would not relent and charged me $59 for an oil and filter change. Last car i will ever buy from them and will get my oil changed at Walmart for half the price from now on.

John gave me some sound advice on how I can improve my credit and paid for our dinner.( we were there for awhile, however it was all worth it) WOW!! How great was that! The 2 cars I researched online where not available that day still in prep, I find this out after I called and show up. I choose another car. Highly restrictive financing qualifications, hours of wasted time, had to use my bank. Didnt get a complimentary car was or gas. Thirty minutes choosing the car another 7 hours before i get the keys and am able to leave. I at least like the car I got. The rest of that day im trying to forget.
