I’ve been with Sprint for the past few years, but today was my first time purchasing a phone through T-Mobile since the two companies merged. Because of this, we had some difficulty trading in my old phone, but Cole and Carrissa were both very kind and determined to make sure we got everything taken care of. I’m not the most tech-savvy, so I really appreciated them taking the time to explain everything to me...something I’ve not had luck with during my time with Sprint.Overall, I really enjoyed working with and spending that time with them. 1000000/10, would recommend :)

I have gone to several neighboring locations in the pst and this is the one place that gives me simple and worry free service. All the other places have proven to be unhelpful and even unpleasant, but this one will get you where you need to go! For the first time, I had my new phone activated without any trouble by a fine employee named Carissa (I looked at the nametag just to give her a shoutout!) and it was honestly a breath of fresh air. Thank you T Mobile of Kokomo, keep being awesome!! I would give 10 stars if I was allowed to!

Excellent customer service!I had a problem with my phoneand thought I needed a new one, I was about to buy one from them, I was describing how my phone had broken down, and they said, Hold off on buying that new phone, we can fix that for you. And sure enough they walked me through the process and my phone is in working order again. Would highly recommend!

I used to work at this location and i have recently resigned . After resigning and taking my skills elsewhere, i have received a number of messages from people saying that the staff have been saying rude things about me as well as talking about me after my leaving. The only thing i’ve ever done for this company was bring kindness, compassion and try to make it a great environment for not only my coworkers but for my customers as well. It is sad, disrespectful and also a nuisance to have my name tarnished and criticized to customers. If this was done behind closed doors to each other. It would be different. This store has a lot of things it needs fixed which is why i left in the first place on such short notice. The gossip, the immaturity as well as the unprofessional staff at this location is not only astonishing, but quite unpleasant to not only work with. But to deal with as well. I am not perfect, nor was i the best at my job but i gave 110% every single day i worked there. You cannot maintain a business, and excel if the workplace is full of toxic people who don’t want to give everything they have for a job. Upon my request for resignation, i was offered the assistant manager position, as well as a pay raise. But i declined, and still chose to move on to another company. I am not a negative person, and i’m not perfect either. But to treat people the way i was treated at this establishment is terrible.I have emailed HR, and if i need to i will be going to the better business bureau to get this defamation and disrespect taken care of.Thanks, and i still hope for love and peace to all of you.

I used to work at this location and under the same management as the guy slandering the company. These accusations are biased and untrue, Lauren is to date the best manager I’ve worked under and as far as the rest of the staff I can only speak of the people I’ve worked with, & I only worked with one of them and she was great.

Staff is slow, they misinformed every customer I seen in there. Seems like they have zero training on the devices, fees, etc. Stay clear of this one. Drive the extra miles to Noblesville so you dont get screwed over.

A woman working there with short black hair was very unprofessional and highly rude over wanting knowledge about one of the newer samsung phones. I do not think that i will step foot into this store until this issue could be fixed because i do not think it is right for an employee to be short and unpleasant with a customer for wanting information on a cellular device.

If I could give a 0 I would. I have never posted anything like this. My wife and I upgraded our phones. We switched from iPhone XR to 12s. We got our new phones after a 5 hour wait with none of our pictures/videos on it. We were basically given new phones with only our contacts. They said that we couldn’t transfer things unless they were backed up to the cloud. This cannot be true. We have upgraded before with no issues. Our 5g of Icloud storage was full and now we both have nothing in our iclouds. They somehow deleted everything of my wife and mine. The workers even logged into our google accounts and changed our passwords so they could try to transfer photos that way. My photos are all gone. My wife’s photos are all gone as well. No photos of our kids from the last 2 years and no explanation. Why can’t you take stuff from one phone and switch it to another? This is unacceptable.

I would say that this location is a 4 star rating. I actually came in a few days ago. I was a little disappointed that they only get in certain phones. When i asked the gentleman at the counter if they had any of the pro max IPhones it appears that they arent regularly equipped with any of them. It’s wasn’t his fault they ain’t have any. But it was a little annoying to not be able to come in and get a max if thats what im lookin for. Other than that it was pretty clean and the guy in there seemed nice. Get more phones!

I made a appointment at 1130am on 1/30/21 at the store in Kokomo, Indiana. I showed up on time only to find out the store was NOT open though regular business hours showed it opened at 10am, I even received a email confirmation for the appointment I scheduled. Its completely unacceptable to not be opened during business hours no explanation or anything on the door just a complete waste of my time!

Been with T-mobile for 7 years. Then about a year ago they went straight down the tubes. This review is not so much about the store as it is about T-Mobile service in general. They seem to have lost a lot of area coverage. I like that I could buy a prepaid phone card practically anywhere such as CVS or Walgreens or even any filling station or convenience store. Seems that they all still sell prepaid phone cards except for T-Mobile. The monthly reminders would remind you that your phone need refilled after it ran out. My phones would constantly be glitching and nobody would ever know how to fix them but they sure would be glad to sell you a new one even though yours is only 6 months old. I had to move on to a new carrier. And T-Mobile wont let you transfer your phone number either so I had to lose my phone number that Ive had for years. That means I had to tell 350 people on my clientele list of my new phone number. I am a truck driver so I need to have a prepaid phone card and I will not sign any contracts and I bought my phone unlocked but they was conveniently locking it for me and not telling me. Another form of punishment for leaving them. Screw you T-Mobile I hope you go bankrupt.

I went to this Kokomo T-Mobile store on 3/6/2020 between 1-1:30 PM wanting to buy a Red Iphone 11. They had it in stock. I wanted to purchase it at full retail price. Simple. Right? They told me they could not sell it to me without linking it to an account. On top of that they told me that there is an activation fee for an existing line to purchase a new phone? What!? I asked them again to buy the phone outright without monthly payments or an activation. They said they cannot do it without inputting the phone on an account. Then they immediately referred me to Best Buy down the street to see if they had an Iphone 11 for T-mobile. I was super shocked that T-mobile referred me to Best Buy to buy an Iphone 11 on the T-Mobile network. I ended up buying an Iphone from Best Buy. Long story short, If you want to buy any phone at a regular price at this Kokomo, IN store...just go to Best Buy down the street as recommended by the 2 T-Mobile Employees at T-mobile working that shift that day.

Ive been with T-Mobile for almost a decade now, so this is an extremely long term review, but focusing on recent experience.This Kokomo store in particular isnt very good. You have maybe a 50/50 chance of talking to a representative who will actually help you. I tried to return a signal booster to this store and was literally told that they couldnt guarantee that if I left it with them that my return would ever make it to the T-Mobile return facility. It was already sealed in a box with a prepaid UPS shipping label! So basically they admitted to me that they couldnt be trusted to hold onto customer equipment over the weekend, and then to give it to the UPS driver on Monday. Thats pathetic. Especially since the email I received detailing the return process lists turning the equipment in to a local store as an option for returning T-Mobile equipment. Customer service representatives reached on FB messenger are almost always friendly and helpful, so avoid the local stores and use FB messenger when possible.My major complaint with T-Mobile, if you live in this area, is vastly inferior cellular signal! Not nearly enough towers or access to other providers networks for 2019. Sorry T-Mobile, but you havent improved coverage nearly enough in this part of Indiana for a long time customer to be able to recommend your services. Quit ignoring the rural areas of North Central Indiana and invest in some new towers, or buy access to AT&T towers for your customers in the rural areas around here, or I know Ill be looking to switch, as well as everyone else on my plan, and not recommending T-Mobile to anyone else in the future. We need to be able to drive from town to town without losing signal like its 2009 instead of 2019. Its obsolete cell phone service now!Update Sept 2019:Gave store another chance. Asked about upgrading from the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to the Note 10. Samsung is currently offering $300 for trading in the Note 8, Best Buy $260. T-Mobile would only offer me $86!!! Thats beyond ridiculous, especially for a decade long customer.Not buying my next phone from T-Mobile thats for sure.

If I could rate a zero stars, that would be my rating. I absolutely cannot stand the incompetence I experience every single time I come to the Kokomo T-moblie store. My wife and I love T-Mobile, but we have to drive an hour away from Kokomo to either Fischers, Indiana or to the store in Carmel, Indiana, in order to get anything accomplished. Not only are they not able to do their job, I dont believe they know how to be professional and they are only friendly as long as they are getting money out of you. If you want a truly wonderfull customer experience with T-Mobile, I highly recommend that you spend the extra time and fuel to go to Josh at the store in Fischers, Indiana. You will not regret it!

I broke the camers lens on my S6Edge and asked the T Mobile store where I purchased it, along with insurance, to fix it. A manager named Kevei N. (no last name), informed me that I would have to pay a $175.00 dedutible and then my phone would be replaced with, probably, a refurbished model. Kevin was EXTREMELY unhelpful and seemed to think that it was my problem and, even though I had paid my bill, along with the insurance premium, I should basically suck it up and deal with what he offered. I plan on taking my business elsewhere since T Mobile, and especially Kevin, seem to think customers are just people to take money from and then kick to the curb.

We have had T mobile for 1 year for 3 cell phones and home internet. The cell service is considerably worse than Verizon. Lots of dropped calls and coverage is very spotty. It is manageable but certainly not what I hoped for. The real issue is the home internet. We have limited options in our area so we switched from AT&T where we regularly had 15mbps download to T mobile. My first test was nearly 35mbps download. I was happy to say the least. Within a short time (days) it was 7mbps do I reset it and was back up to 25mbps. I have reset it 2 to 3 times per week this entire year. It seems like it is getting worse. I couldnt watch football this weekend and tonight it tested at 1.78mbps download and 4.17mbps upload. I cant deal with it anymore. Im done with the internet for sure and the phones will be shortly after.
