DONT BUY FROM THEM. THEY WILL DELAY WARRANTY ISSUES. DOORS WONT CLOSE, WINDOWS AND DOORS NEED TO BE REPLACED. NO FOAM OR SILICONE AROUND WINDOWS AND DOORS, SIDING BUBBLING UP, AC UNIT SINKING INTO THE HOUSE, HOUSE IS NOT SQUARE OR LEVEL. NOW WE HAVE BUGS COMING INTO THE HOUSE . WE HAVE NUMETOUS LEAKS TO THE WATER HEATER, UNDERNEATH THE HOUSE UNDER KITCHEN, THE PIPES FOR THE WASHER DRYER HOOKUP. WE WERE TOLD THAT THEY ARE NOT WARRANTING THE SIDING, WE WERE TOLD TO PUT DIRT UNDER THE PAD OF THE AC UNIT. NUMEROUS EMAILS PHONE CONVERSATIONS, TEXTING. WE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE STATE INSPECTORS OFFICE AND WAITING FOR THEM TO INSPECT THE HOUSE FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. WE ARE DONE WITH THESE PEOPLE AND THEIR BULL. WE ARE GOING TO GET A LAWYER ..

My wife and I purchased a home from First Coast Homes in October 2020, The sales rep advise that the concerns we had with defects that were seen would be corrected by either their company or the manufacturer Live Take Homes. It is now October 2021, the home has been on our lot since the week before Christmas 2020, and to date we have not been able to have the promised defects on our home repaired or corrected. Attempts (at least 20 if not more) since purchasing the home from First Coast Homes have been ignored by either First Coast Homes or the manufacturer Live Oak Homes. Beware of promises made by with company

This is my review of “First Coast Homes of Lake City”In such that this is a situation that is full of emotion I will strive to be detached from that during my review.It begins last year when we selected a home from this distributor working with an agent named Paula.Within a couple days we were approved and started moving forward. Our agent began making promises on when she would have us in the house. Being we’ve never done this before we didn’t know if it was realistic but went with it.Fast forward thru closing and into November when they actually got the house from the manufacturer and on the property, Many delays such as crews they fired for poor work and had to have another crew come out and redo it. Forgetting we needed a apron and pad on our driveway which necessitated paying “emergency rates” to get done. Due to mismanagement of permitting and scheduling our project went over the budget and the agent had to absorb those extra costs, but I don’t believe it had to go that way if the scheduling has been marinated properly.We took possession of the home 2 days before Christmas, with a punch list a mile long. To be expected I knowThe warranty company that handles these issues I’ll review separately. Needless to say they advised some of the work needed the agent to get the setup crew back out. I have spent a month communicating with the agent, each week i get promises that the set up guy will contact me, still waiting. At this point I have little trust in my agents promises.A year from start we’re in a home that is a high dollar model and can’t get answers from the dealer, having to accept were probably going to have to accept subpar work on a high dollar home. Which is not right in the slightest.In retrospect I probably would of purchased at a different dealer had I known all of this would happen.Friendliness. 4 out of 5 starsKnowledge 4 out of 5Trust 1 out of 5Would i recommend them? If you are looking to purchase a mobile home I would highly recommend Paula Day. She worked very diligently to get my loan approved and processed as well as get my home delivered and set up. The process went very smoothly and Paula was a pleasure to work with. She always answered all my questions and concerns very quickly. She is very friendly and cares about her customers. It was like dealing with an old friend. Shes down to earth and works hard to make your home buying dreams come true. Give Paula a call and let her make your dreams come true too.

This is a shutout to Mr. DJ Drawdy, for his great customer skills. He took the time to tell us about each home in detail, he was pleasant and he treated us with courtesy. In addition, he asked me what I had in mind and once I told him what I was looking for he took me to the right home. To me, thats what I call customer service!

The salesman was very unprofessional, Matt cupp. Being a fellow customer service representatives we owe it to ourselves and our customers to give them the best of us. As it stands you have discouraged me and my family from doing any business with your company. We there to purchase two of your mobile homes in cash, I’m not sure if it was the color of our skin or you were just to interested in the television,either way please work on your professional customer service skills.

When my family stopped at First Coast to look at homes we were greeted by Paula A., we let her know upfront, we were just looking, basically comparing them with other dealers. Paula seemed to be very knowledgeable about the homes as well as the home buying process. Paula showed us exactly what we asked about, she answered all of our questions in such a professional and courteous manner.We have still not made a decision at this time, but were very grateful, for the pleasant experience we had while here.Thank you, Paula....

When I pulled up i wasnt asked if I needed help and they all was outside. I had to go to them after about 20mins and then still wasnt really interested in me until I told them i was pre approved. After I told them what i was pre approved for the lady pretty much ran off lol which i lied about the amount. The guy that continued to talk to me gave me a (map). I will NOT be Back. I took my money right next door to Jacobson homes, I actually thank this company for pushing me next door ;)
