My initial experience was wonderful. But quickly went in the opposite direction. I visited one afternoon in December and one of the salesman happily walked me around the lot and let me view multiple homes on the lot. I was very interested and motivated on buying as soon as possible. I was going to do a land/home package, so I went on Zillow and picked out SIX different properties. I like to always have a backup plan. I picked my model, got all of my bank statements, and all of the necessary information. Got all of this done within the first two weeks. I put an offer in on a piece of property, picked out all of my colors and specifications for the home, and waited. My salesman did not stay in contact with me. If I wanted information, I had to ask for it. Ended up having to ask about where the process was multiple times. Because appraisals are taking a lot of time these days, my 30-day contract was having to be extended, and the seller wanted to sell. Freedom ensured me that they would buy the property for me and I would just give them the money. However, they wanted money to make sure that I was serious. I gave them $6000 and heard nothing back for weeks. Finally when I got an email notification that my contract was cancelled I figured out that nothing had been done. My home was never ordered. Many excuses were made over and over again. Got this process started in December and finally got my money back in June. I would not recommend this company.

Bought a mobile home in 2019 an they still havent fixed the problems with my house. Now the roof is leaking. The siding hasnt been fixed an there is water damage now. Never returned my calls or Emails have sent pictures an video of the problems an they dont return calls. Ive contacted the BBB I will never recommend anyone to go to this place

Worst place in the entire State of Florida to buy a mobile home. All I got was a bunch of running around and lies once they get your money youre not even worth a phone call back. I wish there was an option to give no stars. If I had the option to do it again there is no way I would buy from there. And I highly recommend that you dont waste your time at Freedom mobile homes.

Worked there for close to 12 years. Great service and FULL disclosure. They take the time to walk the lot, listen to your needs and are there for you After the sale. Great place to buy a home.

I have had months of lies,run arounds,and no communication.I Have made 2 mortgage payments and still no power or water hookup,I would not buy a mobile home from this company if they were the only ones in Florida,Its to late for me to do anything but warn the public,please go anywhere else they have to be better than this company.

Bought a home made a list for the guys from factory to come out and do the repairs had cracks in every room and we turned in our list and pictures to Lynn which she did her part factory called was suppose to be at my home every week up to Christmas kept calling freedom homes and factory and finely February 2021 someone came out to fix all the cracks on the ceiling and on the walls in every room. It has been 2 years of headache and one nightmare with Freedom home take my advice Steve is one of the worst owners of a business that we ever had to deal with he will rip you off. Fixed cracks and now they are returning in the same spot. Terrible business people!

Absolutely everything that couldve gone wrong with the delivery and set-up has. We also have 4 pages of punch-list items that remain unresolved after 3 months. First factory guy came out without a generator and did nothing. Second guy they sent had a generator, but it wouldnt crank! Nothing done. We were assured everything would be taken care of. Once you hand over the check you become insignificant. There are numerous other MH sales lots within a .5 mile radius. Go fast my friends. Buyer beware. I dont know how these people sleep at night.

Known and done business with Steve for 20+ years. My wife and I purchased our first home from Steve in 1996. Today, that home is very close to the condition it was in when we purchased it, despite the previous tenant doing nothing to the home but occupy it. He is honest and will go to bat for people who deserve the help. The proof is in the pudding - hes been in the same location for more than 20 years, while others come and go or change ownership over and over. Dont cheat yourself! If youre in the market for a manufactured home and dont give Steve a shot, thats exactly what youre doing!

They are great about getting you into your home and getting their money but sure dont wanna help get the factory people out to do their part like they said they would!! Aint no different than any other place just there for the money not the customers

Go anywhere else but here they will lie to you tell you whatever you want to hear then when you ask for the price of the home they will try to lie to you about that .Thats what happened to us when we have them a price from another dealer. They lie again believe me I have tried to give our business to a small mom and pops place but yet they cant compete with the big dogs if you wont to save money lol dont go here go anywhere but here. One guy told me one thing then the other comes back with 5,000 more wow good stuff.... Lies lies lies Wayne and Shane there go to guys beware good hard working Americans

We were shown a home that my wife and I really loved, but even though we were given a price that we could have afforded and were offered the home first, someone else came along with a better offer and they were given the home over us. No wonder they didnt return phone calls.

On my previous review I was a bit harsh. Especially to Alicia. I wish to apologize for comments unbecoming a gentleman. I was extremely mad about promises made and not kept, and about things said and not done. After careful consideration I came to the conclusion that I should have taken a few mins and calmed down before writing that review. Even though I was not treated as I expected, and I was things did not turn out as planed, or discussed. the names and things I said about Alicia was uncalled for, I should have taken more time, and rose above the situation and not started making inappropriate remarks, and for this I am sorry. I have asked Google to remove the comment. She was short and slightly rude with me on the phone and I over reacted. Again I apologize for my personal comments against Alicia. As far as the home goes, it did turn out to my satisfaction, baring some small things, and the price was very fair. I sincerely hope that google removes the comment soon, if not this serves to try to in some small way remedy the issue.Again and finally, Alicia, I deeply apologize for statements I made prior, and sincerely apologize deeply

The staff ignored us, took other customers before us even though we had been there for quite a time. Did not offer to show us anything. And could only be bothered with giving us floor plans. Past that they wouldnt spend anymore time with us

Very nice staff. Answered our questions without high pressure & left us to look through several models and again answered our questions without pressuring us 🙂

I will rate this place as one of the best place I have worked . Paul Barney is the back bone Steve Smith is the brains so when you put them together one awesome place . If you need a home they rent and sale stop in and talk to them

Bad service wont show you the homes just points you in that direction find it yourself. When in office he leaves you hanging to talk to somebody else we got tired of waiting got up and walked out SOOO RUDE go somewhere else
