Let me start by saying this is just an honest review of my experience here.Overall they changed the oil, got the level correct, but a very sloppy job. When I picked the truck up there was oily hand prints all over the driver side fender, door, glass and unfortunately the steering wheel. My truck is black and freshly detailed so it was obvious and annoying. After getting home I figured I better check everything out, oily residue on the sway bar, the transmission pan, and all over the valve cover. I change my own oil 80% of the time and I never get a drop on the valve covers, it just shows a rushed job.The paperwork says it was vacuumed, it was not, and all this for $30 MORE than the dealer, and the dealer includes a tire rotation.The people were pleasant and friendly, but honestly that’s not my main priority. To the owner, something should be done to slow down the jobs and make sure people’s property is respected as if it was their own property. You’re the highest price in town for an oil change, I shouldn’t have to spend a hour cleaning oil off the truck after.

I strongly recommend Joe and the rest of the team at kwik kar in Lake Jackson. They have been servicing our vehicles for several years and have shown us nothing but professionalism, honesty, and integrity. The repairs have been done fast, right, and for a fair price. In my experience, you rarely get all three of those things at the same time.

This place is awesome. Each employee. Have had my car there for all services. Must give joe the mechanic a big shout out. He is a super mechanic and an asset to this location!

The manager was a chubby guy with the beard, I always get my Chevy oil change at this store and pay from $60 to $65, I got another car Toyota Corolla and took it to this Store on 08/11/2021, I asked how much will it cost to change the oil filter for this car.I told him that you must know me I always come here for my car maintenance.I was very disappointed by the attitude and the reply.He said I don’t remember people but I do remember my prices and it will cost you $96.I left from there and got the oil and filter change from Walmart with the same kind of synthetic oil fir $35.Will not go back to this store again.

Kwik Kar is a great place. They will make every effort to satisfy the customer, to include correcting the negligence of other lube shops who wont step up and own up.

We moved to Lake Jackson TX in July 2020. Since we have an older vehicle, it requires us to see a professional from time to time. At Kwik Kar, everyone has been so helpful. They’re quick, efficient and priced right. Jane, the manager always greets us with a smile.

This is my first google review Ive ever done, but it was necessary. I was amazed at the level of professionalism and quality of the Kwik Kar in Lake Jackson. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. From the minute I arrived to the minute I left, Jane took exceptional care of me. When I came in for an inspection, unfortunately I had other complications with my car. I appreciated that Jane took me to see the problem for myself and she leveled with me about the pricing. I was amazed at the price since other mechanics wouldve quoted me at a higher price. Any time I have another problem with my car, Im definitely going back to see Jane at Kwik Kar! Thank you so much!

Very honest guys. I travel here from DFW and try to get service done when I’m in LJ just because I trust this shop. Today, Joe told me I still had some oil life left if I wanted to wait. What shop is that honest?

Stopped in like always to get oil changed. Pay the bill after I sat and watched them while they worked on my truck. Ask what was the pressure in my tires? Was told it was put at 42. I said to increase back to the 44 that it had. So, they did not vacuum, clean windshield, and they put air in my tires and watched the gauge IN MY truck to tell them the air pressure!! Because that is accurate right then. I asked where their tire gauge was? Look me straight in the face and said we dont have one. How did you check the air to 42? I left there to see that I had 59pounds of air in one of my tires. NOT happy. I paid for things they did not due and left costing me more money to fix their screw up.

New to the area. Saw this place driving by and wanted to bring my car in for a battery and alternator issue. The lady that answered the phone was extremely rude. I explained what I needed and she was uninterested in what I was saying and said that she couldn’t help me at this time. Being in customer service field myself, there was a better way of handling this situation. I’ve could have been an excellent and loyal customer. And just for this I will never know if they do good work or if they had good customer service, as a few of the reviews I’ve read.

The place has improved dramatically since the ladies took over. Nothing but good service, good attitude and good customer relations.

Got an oil change, oil filter and fuel filter. My truck takes 13 quarts of oil. They over filled it! While standing outside waiting for my truck to be finished a technician walked up to me and said...... get ready for this! Sir your oil drain plug is stripped!!!! He handed me the drain plug and I looked at it knowing it wasn’t stripped when I pulled there. There was no residue of anything to keep it from leaking and it was stripped so bad it wouldn’t have stayed in the hole. He then stated if I bought a new oil pan he would install it for $100. The techs and sales lady inside weren’t very professional and when I asked about a transmission service. The guy sitting in the back office seemed as if I was bothering him. Steer clear of this place. $240 for an oil change and fuel filter! Now I’m spending another $400 to fix what they broke. For a grand total of $640 for an oil change.

I took my husbands truck to get a few issues shorted out. A week later his truck would not start so I called and asked for them to come look at it or have it towed. Mike- actually came to my house (I live 30 minutes away) and fixed my truck in my drive way! Fantastic customer service! Thank you Mike!

I go get my oil changed and cars inspected here every time. They are efficient and the location is convenient. Only complaint is the price. Fluid changes of any kind are insanely expensive. If I were on a tighter budget, I would have to pass on coming here due to the prices.

Wow!! Never have I ever been in a business that was so honest!! As I was sitting in the lobby this is my first time to ever come to this establishment I noticed how clean and organized it was but not only that how helpful the staff was! As I sat there a gentleman came in to get his Lexus. It had been dropped off for an oil change and inspection. The next thing I know the manager came in and told him there was no reason to have his oil changed at this time that it was still good for another 3,000 miles! Now how honest is that!! I just couldnt believe my ears the gentleman really didnt need the service and the manager was so kind and honest! I highly recommend them they are undoubtably one of the best businesses in the area!!!

Best place to get an oil change in Lake Jackson. They are very fast, getting you in and out quickly. They clean your windows and even vacuum your car! This is where we will take our cars every time!

I chose this location to get an oil change and tires checked after reading reviews .I was met by an employee who was very nice and professional.After sitting in the waiting room for only about 15 min, a tech came in to tell me that I actually had 2000 miles left before an oil change was due .I read the previous sticker incorrectly.He checked my tires, aired them and reset my dashboard computer.I’m quite pleased with the service especially since they could have changed the oil unnecessarily thus charging me for work that did not need to be done.Thank you Kwik Kar for your honesty.I recommend them for minor servicing.

These guys are amazing!! My starter went out on my Jeep on Sunday and they were one of the only places open. I told them I desperately needed it fixed by Monday and they said it would be done within a few hours. They even came and picked up my car for me!!! These guys are super courteous and definetly worth every penny!! Thank you again!

Arrived at 11:42... oil changed tires checked wiper fluid filled and vacuumed... out the door at 12:01... on a Saturday no less... super friendly and don’t recommend a bunch of stuff i didn’t want or need.. will be back for sure.. good job!!..👍

Only place around that can handle my F-250. Tried others in the area, didnt cut it. I dont usually review, but the manager was extremely gracious to me while I was waiting, which wasnt even that long. Definitely taking my old ladys car here as well

Im new to the Lake Jackson area and needed to find an oil change shop for my wifes car. I stopped by this Kwik Kar and was really impressed by the cleaniness and professionalism of the staff. The oil change was done under 20 minutes and they topped off all my fluids too without me asking. Glad I found a good shop in the neighborhood!

This is my third year to go here and get my car inspected. I like going here because they are quick, efficient, and polite. I have never waited more than a couple of minutes to have someone see what I needed. I am always in and out in 20 minutes or less.

They were quick with the service, but I didnt appreciate the way the guy treated us when we asked him to flush the power steering fluid. My boyfriend has fixed and replaced everything on my car and his and has a shop with his dad, I think he knows what hes talking about.

$90 Oil Change?? Took my 02 Sierra in (4.9L V8) for an oil change and I feel like I got ripped off. Ive taken my truck to other places before and it was definitely less than this. After I paid I saw the breakdown of charges (which I should have asked for before paying) and come to find out the slapped me with a $20 labor charge on top of the oil change. They also charged separate for the oil filter, which I cant remember if thats common place or not. They did a quick and good job though so Ill give them that. I was also the only one there however. Ill be going somewhere else next time, maybe with a coupon too.

Called for estimate on oil change guy told me for my 8cylinder with synthetic oil it was $112.00 so I get it done at tjs for $70

Employees are friendly and fast. Prices are comparable for the area. It only cost me $5 more to let them do the work than to do it myself.

I called ahead to get the price for a state inspection. They told me $25.50. I arrived around 12pm on a Tuesday and there was about 3 other customers there but they still finished the inspection within about 15 minutes. They charged me exactly $25.50. My car is older (2003) and I was worried they might try to find something wrong to charge me for, but there was nothing like that.

Changed my own oil last week and it was missing the oil filter! kwik kar was the last place i took i my Tundra according to the sticker! They wanted to compensate me with a discount on my next oil change!. they deserve NO STAR if you ask me.
