I was beyond shocked to go in for a tire repair today and unbelievably they did not charge me a cent. I did not even buy the tires there, so I was completely caught by surprise. The repair was completed in record time, people could not be more courteous there, and it absolutely made my day to have such a nice encounter. It’s rare, and when a business really cares about its customers, people should take note.
I came in from out of town with serious brake problems that developed while on the road. Kevin and the staff at Goodyear were extraordinarily helpful in identifying the issue and getting me back on the road. These guys are honest and do the job right the first time. Highly recommended!
The manager Kevin was great to work with, very knowledgeable, very fair and when above and beyond to meet my needs
What great service as I called back 3 times this morning for questions on tires for my travel trailer. Greeted with a smile and helpful attitude. I will definitely be back!
Great people, great tires, great service. Everyone was very friendly and straightforward.I will be back.
Friendly service an responsible in an out time. Very busy place be sure to call an get an appointment
Service was fast and professional. Kevin (Store Manager) is awesome. Does what he can to help you out and keep your vehicle rolling!
Marcus took great care of us and made it easy and fast
Marcus the best person to go to. He kept in contact with me and helped me with my tire issues. Found me the best deals and all around provided the best customer service. I couldnt thank him enough for all he did for me. Will be returning for any car needs and would 100 % recommend to anybody
Went to multiple tire shops around the Lansing area when I had something metal stuck in my tire and all of them took a quick look at it and said I would have to buy a new tire because it was not repairable. Decided to stop here on my way to buy a new tire and see what they thought and instantly they told me they could fix it with no issue and FREE of charge. An hour and a half later my tire was like brand new & they removed not 1, but 2 pieces metal shrapnel from my tire! Very polite and professional, would recommend!
Great service, the team at Goodyear, got me right in and helped me find the best tires for my truck.
Fast and trustworthy place to take your vehicle. Marcus is the best to go to! I’m very happy with all my experiences here.
Always friendly, very thorough. Highly recommend.
I had a great experience here today with fast, professional and friendly service installing my trailer tires. Highly recommended, Id happily work with them again.
We needed tires for my husband’s truck and Marcus got us a really good deal plus a $200 rebate. He was also friendly and courteous. He also called back the next day to make sure we got the rebate email he sent. I would highly recommend Goodyear on W Saginaw Hwy in Lansing, Mi.
My dad took his Ford to them on Monday. Took them three hours to fix the issue and even went so far as to take him home then pick him up when it was ready. Super friendly staff and awesome service.
Great work for the price! Marcus Hatter was excellent and super helpful. Will be back again every time I need tires or service work!
I’ve never had to buy tires before, however I bought my truck this year and it needed new tires. Not sure where to even start Marcus helped me get the best tires for my truck! Asked all the questions I wouldn’t have ever thought of bringing up. Made sure all the questions I had got answered! Best customer service!!! May I say my truck rides the best it has sense I bought it. I’m in love with the tires! Not to mention he helped me every step of the way! If you go ask for Marcus!! I will most definitely be recommending this place and Marcus to everyone!!!
High quality service. From what Ive seen, they go above and beyond. Very knowledgeable, easy to work with. Would highly recommend this place for any service.
Been taking my cars here for years, great service
Will continue to take my vehicle here. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Honest about whats wrong with your vehicle/tires, not trying to make you buy more than whats needed. Marcus, Mickey, and Kevin go above and beyond for their customers, and the service people in the shop are quick and efficient.
I’ve had many oil changes at Goodyear and tires fixed. I dealt with the same employee every time, his name was Marcus. He was so friendly and helpful along with getting everything done quickly! I will 100% be returning to this location for any needs I have with my car from here on out because it Marcus!
I scheduled a appointment here for a free flat tire repair. I get there and I tell them what tire is the problem, now the tire sensors are wrong in my car so the car shows the front passenger tire being low when it is the rear passenger tire thats really the low one and I didnt tell them the sensors were wrong I didnt think it mattered since I told them what tire was the problem. They come out and tell me the front passenger tire has a metal rod in it, they cant fix it and proceeds to give me prices for 4 new tires starting at $670. So I tell him theres no problems with that tire, I know what the car tire sensor says but the sensor is wrong and he says all of the tires are really worn so they wouldnt be able to fix whatever issue is causing that tire to lose air and proceeds to tell me more prices for 4 new tires. This was a complete waste of time because they never even looked at the problem tire and I dont believe they were being truthful saying there was a metal rod in a tire that doesnt leak air! They really just wanted me to buy 4 new tires! I think they offer the free flat tire repair service just to get you there and try to get you to buy new tires.
Great, expert, timely, service. Very satisfied with results.
Quick, friendly service. I had a nail in my tire and I was pleasantly surprised when they took care of it at no cost. Ill be back. 😃
I was traveling through Lansing for a funeral and my tire caught a nail. The other tire places in town couldnt take a look at it or do anything for 2 to 3 hours. I have young kids so not an option. Goodyear closes earlier at 5. We went in,told them situation, Manager Kevin allowed Marcus to take us in last minute. I wind up needing a new tire. They stayed overtime, got us out in an hour, we made it back home in Rochester safely! This was excellent customer service! Goodyear with Guys!
Very convenient hours, including Sunday! The store manager is always nice. If you choose to wait for youre vehicle the seating area is decent with a TV if you dont want to stare at your phone or talk to strangers. Its also a short walk to Meijer, Goodwill or the Lansing Mall if you want to shop while your vehicle is being serviced. Complimentary coffee is available and a vending machine to buy soda. Im always happy with the quality of work and the care staff use when servicing my vehicle. They also make sure Im informed of whats going on with my car and what options are available.
Great service I can trust. They are very honest and dont over sell.
Goodyear West Saginaw is always prompt at getting you in for service and letting you know what the problem is as soon as it is found. Michael, Marcus and Adrienne are always very friendly and get customers in and out quickly. Highly recommend.
Love this place.
Great service. Offered choices to allow I have to choose what was best suited for us. Will definitely be a repeat customer.
Great experience today! In Lansing on business and got a nail in my tire. The team here was able to replace the tire and do an oil change. They completed the service and replaced the tire quickly. Awesome job! Will be back!
Great service
Very helpful explain what you need give good service always pleasure to let professionals there work on your car
They have very poor ethic can’t even hustle to get jobs done quicker, bad attitudes at front desk . I run a shop myself and my employees will never be this Unprofessional .
We go here anytime we need a diagnosis/maintenance on both our vehicles. Theyre terrific, honest and decently priced.
Very friendly staff and geat low prices! I will definitely be going back and highly recommend them.
For the 1st time ever I decided to try good year as it sits across from FireStone.Took my car there in the a.m. to PAY for an evaluation for brakes, suspension, and maintenance required light. They close at 7pm on Sunday, didn’t receive a text, call or email about my vehicle so I decided to call them at 6:30pmApparently they hadn’t got to my vehicle and didn’t plan on notifying me as I waited the whole day on that side of town. They said “There is nothing wrong”.Anyone with ears could tell you that I need brakes and suspension. You’re better off going to a shade street mechanic on the streets than a “professional establishment”.NEVER AGAIN.
Great service
My experience was just like everyone elses. Excellent. Their knowledge for cars is like nothing ive ever seen. And the pricing is second to none. Why would i want to go anywhere else.
Super fast service and friendly! Got me back on the road as soon as possible. Honest shop. Highly recommend!
Great customer service, but Im almost sure Ive had just as much warranty work as I have had parts replaced here.
Had a friend take an explorer here for inspection they said it had to of been in a flood because their was rust underneath and not safe. Keep in mind this is a 2006 and the Frames are one piece and completely solid these frames are almost impossible to completely rust through unless it sat in a river for its entire life and never moved. The car had no electrical issues and everything was fine so then I decided to have them bring it to an actual Ford Dealership they said yes it has rust but every car in Michigan has rust.Trust me if you need a car inspection dont go here.If you need tires goto Budget Tire theyre way cheaper.
Excellent service and very helpful and friendly
Great service and very knowledgeable I highly recommend for auto care
Dont care for the individual running the phones, and front desk, no personality and comes across as rude and dictating.Kevin on the other hand was very helpful on my last experience there, which is why I came back, but not so sure this 2nd visit was such a good choice after having my truck towed there, I can only imagine the bill I will have when it is over with
So for tire work, you go to a tire shop. This is a good one. Its clean, seems to be professionally run, honest, not a high pressure sales place. Its kind of what I dont expect from a tire store. This shop was recommended by a couple dealership technicians I know, and they were spot on. Just had tires rebalanced. In and out quick, reasonable price, and the car rides better than it ever has.
Marcus was able and willing to help me understand my problem and find the part to fix it. Excellent service goes above and beyond! Thanks guys!
Very good service here. The manager And staff won’t BS you and try to sell you stuff you don’t need. They are honest and professional!
Done a total of five different car repairs with Goodyear and have only had good experiences.
Took my car in on a Sunday morning for a tire pressure issue. The repair was pretty quick and the staff was very friendly. Overall extremely satisfied with my experience here.
Went to Goodyear had two good tires on my front it had got all 4 replaced asked for my two front to be saved and they disregarded it dispose thethem and then put my valve stems on and put the hub cap on wrong to wear I couldint even access my tire valve stem they made me pay for alignment and then gave me a 1500 dollar quate on my two ties and controls arms and still charged me for an alignment when it shouldnt have been done tell the problems were fixed they gave me a another quote with another alignment after the parts were put on and then needless to say they didnt offer me roadside hazard I came in to get a tire checked today and found out they didnt offer me roadside hazard also they wanted 108 dollars for a hack left tire that they put on wrong to begin with I will be takeing my business elsewhere also was told they couldint patch a nail in the top and was equated 108 dollars its a joke
I had a flat tire 10 days ago. When they ordered the they said three days. I went there on the third day they said the company sent the wrong tire. They said they were going to FedEx it, it would be there the next day. Two days later I went back. He said that FedEx hasnt came yet. So much for FedEx. Then I went there on Tuesday and they called and said the next day. It is now Thursday and I got the tire. They charged me 119 dollars. I BOUGHT THESE TIRES LAST YEAR AND PAID 233 FOR A SET OF FOUR. Needless to say the worst pricing and service I have gotten anywhere.
ALWAYS overprice any and everything. My Grandpa was a regular customer for yrs. and I often wonder why. I will never take my car here for repairs, maintenance, NOTHING
My wife and I spent over $3,500 at Goodyear for nothing. There was a noise in the front every time we hit the brakes, so we thought it was the brakes and they said that while the brakes aren’t that old, it should be the problem and they replaced them. The noise was still there. We paid for them to do an entire inspection of the car. They listed a bunch of things that could be the problem. The said, “It has to be this”. They did the work and it still wasn’t fixed. Then, they said “It has to be this for sure!”. Kept getting things done over 10 full days (had to keep taking it back) until they said the car is 100% in perfect shape. We left and the noise was immediately there. We then took it to Firestone and they said that there was a new problem and it had to be the cause so we got that fixed. The sound was still there.....We decided to take it to Ford since our car is a Ford and we thought they might know. We would have went with them first, but we always thought dealerships like that would cost a lot. Surprisingly, they turned out to be cheaper than every other place. They did a free inspection and they said the second they put the car up they saw that it was the ABS. That was a huge deal! Our brakes hadn’t been working right and took 5-10 seconds to stop while going only 25mph. We just had both the front and back ones replaced and again Firestone and Goodyear said there was nothing wrong with the brakes. This could have cost us our lives. The repair was only a few hundred and was done in less than an hour. Noise finally gone. Never go to Goodyear nor Firestone as they can’t even do a simple inspection.
I dont understand how this place is always so busy. The simplest things, even with an apt take most of the day. One of those places where if you go for an oil change you just know they will tell you 20 other things you need to do. This place is a money pit. Often it is genuine things that could be done, but this place is top end on prices/labor and average on service and quality. All last winter every time I returned from an oil change my tires were constantly severely over-inflated and my husband would have to fix them.Went in last week for an oil change and they rotated my tires. They didnt charge me, but would have been nice if they had asked me. I would have said no, because the rear tires were new and I just had them put on the rear last month. Ever since they moved them to the front the car doesnt drive as good. I have to take it in somewhere today to have someone rotate them back, which probably will cost me.They pointed out 3 different 20 dollar things I needed to do while I was there for an oil change. I dont know much about cars, but just went along with it because 20 bucks a pop while not optimal, also didnt seem terrible. The total should have been twice as much as the oil change I went in for, but then at check out it was 3x as much. When I looked at the receipt later I realized it was because one of the 20 dollar things had a 50 dollar labor charge. Had they been up front about that to me I would have said no way. This is a less than average place that I went to for way too long. If you dont know a lot about cars this is an especially bad place to go to.
Kevin and his team provides us great service on all of our vehicles. I love having them as my local auto service provider
Kyle the Master Mechanic is the nicest man i have ever met . i went in there with a slight rumble in my 2008 hhr. He told me the problem and fixed it right away. He kept me informed about all the problems and prices so i always knew what was going on . Thank you kyle for this awesome Goodyear experience !
Had a flat tire, they fixed it at no charge. They could have charged me for a new tire, but they were honest. Will go there again.
Did a great job at mounting and balancing tires at a cheap price and quickly
These guys are always friendly and helpful. I stop in frequently for tire pressure checks. They never seem bothered by it. Thanks team!
Highly recommend, was on vacay, had an emergency at 6p on a sat. Excellent serviceWould definitely go back. thanks guys
Went in to get a tire plugged due to a nail on a vehicle i bought from a reputable dealership less than 1.5 months ago. They said they couldnt plug it and brought me a quote for 4 new tires for$692. I told them I could not afford to replace all 4 and asked for the price of just 1. I was told that because my vehicle was all wheel drive and because my other tires werent new they could not sell me 1, it had to be all 4. They then proceeded to show me another quote for 5hundred-something. I again said i could not afford that. Finally got them to just put my spare on and went to another tire place who sold me 1 tire and put it on. They laughed when i told them what happened at Goodyear and showed me that my other tires werent that bad and didnt have to be replaced right now if i didnt want to.
Cant say enough good things about Marcus and techs that were working Sunday evening. My wife, 2 kids, mother-in-law and myself were traveling home to Indianapolis from a vacation in northeast Michigan when our utility trailer blew a tire on I69 Sunday afternoon. It was nearly 5:30pm when we were able to get back on the road with the spare but it was in poor condition as well and no way it was going to make the approximately 4 hrs and 250 miles to get us home. I first called another tire place which was the closest to our location, they were closing at 6 and even though I could have made it there before 6 they said they couldnt help me. Marcus answered the phone at Goodyear and when I told him the situation and timing he didnt hesitate, just said get it here and well take care of you. Once there he and the techs were very friendly and happy to help. They got us taken care of quickly and professionally and we were able to get back on the road an make it safely home. Thanks again Goodyear team!
Took my truck here. It was driveable when I dropped it off. Needed a driver side CV axle replaced but still able to drive. Told the guy multiple times to call me with a cost of the repairs, got multiple calls, but for questions about the truck, I kept asking for a price and wasnt given one, he kept saying he didnt know yet. Then got a call, right before they were about to close, saying they replaced both stub shafts, and installed both cv axles, but one kept popping off and they didnt know why. I called the lift company of the lift I have and gave him the information I had obtained and was told nothing else could be done until Wednesday, its Monday. So I would have to pay $423 dollars for repairs and it will make it home but not any further. So now Im out $423 and have to take it to another shop that will actually figure out the issues. I never signed a work order or estimate for this work, and told the shop multiple times to give me an estimate. Now I have a truck that cant drive. Will be contacting the state of Michigan and my bank.
Tire arrived NEXT DAY when I ordered it. Tire change in less than an hour. Always answered the phone, were polite, courteous, professional. Definately recommended.
Most amazing place EVER!! Amazing service, always a quick repair and friendly informative service.
I had changed 2 tyres last week due to a damage on my old tire, TPMS light came back after 2 days & had to visit again. The team was very courteous & reset it in less than 10 mins.
Ive had mixed experiences with this service center. For oil changes and tire work, it is probably a good bet. For other work, I would recommend trying someplace else. I brought my SUV in to get my rotors replaced, a pretty straightforward process. I suspected it was my rotors because I could feel pulsation through the steering wheel when I braked. They called me with an estimate, which included a new serpentine belt, a power steering flush, an oil change, a fuel injection clean-out, two new ball joints (very expensive), new wheel bearings, and a few other things. I ended up doing the majority of the work, as ball joints and wheel bearings are not things I wanted to mess around with. After they finished the work, they called me and told me the pulsation that I originally brought the SUV in for was still there! At this point I had spent over $1000. So, I had to get the rotors done on top of everything else. To be fair, after I gave them a bit of grief, they did kindly do the rotor work without charging labor. They also kindly gave me a ride home when the work took longer than expected and I was without a vehicle. However, I also feel like they recommended services that were not needed throughout the whole process. For example, while their recommendation to change the serpentine belt was right on, the recommendation to change the brake pads was unnecessary. I know this because about 6 months later I had some other work done on the SUV (at another place) and they assured me the brake pads had quite a bit of life left on them. Another thing that was somewhat irritating is that they asked me 3 separate times if I wanted an oil change. It was the classic behavior of shops adding things on when they are not needed. Anyway, overall I did not have a terrible experience: I was treated kindly and Im sure the work they did was good. But I also did not have a great experience and I spent way more than anticipated and probably more than was warranted.
BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT TRUST THE GOODYEAR AT THE LANSING OR PORTAGE LOCATIONS!I have an AWD drive vehicle, and 18 months ago I damaged one tire. Went to Portage location and was told I have to buy four new tires because they could not replace just one. If they were to replace only one, it could damage the drivetrain, which is true. I spent over $800 on new tires and was sold “roadside protection plan” that would prevent me from having to go through this again. With the manager saying, “If you buy the protection plan, and one tire is damaged, we will replace all four due to the AWD.” Of course, I took his word for it. Well, a week ago my wife had a tire destroyed, and we took in for repair. They wanted to charge us to replace three of the tires, stating that they cannot replace just one. I informed them of what the Portage location told us, and they said it is wrong. Called Kim at Corporate office and her solution was just to go ahead an replace the one tire. When I requested that she put her recommendation in writing, she started backtracking and requested that she call me back with a better resolution. Had we went ahead with her recommendation, it would have severely damaged our car. Goodyear’s resolution to this was to either pay for the additional three tires, and they would honor the warranty for one, or you get nothing. When I brought up what the manager at the Portage location told us, she said that there is no way of proving what was said. So they sent my wife home on icy roads with a 2 and 4-year-old, on a small donut tire (after telling her she should not be driving on the donut for safety reasons) after trying to intimidate her for over an hour is how this company treats it is customers.Bottom line, please be very cautious when dealing with this company. If it is not in writing, they will not back it up. Rude and dishonest. I hope no one has to go through the wasted time and money as we did.
Good service
Good tires, and free tire rotations if you buy Goodyear.
**UPDATE**See below for the pre-canned response from owner. I did NOT contact them back, as of yet. My review stays.------------------Never again. I purchased tires for a black friday deal with every bit of coin I had.Show up to my appointment and immediately they tell me its over $100 more. So i ask again, same answer.I then asked for any inventory thats cheaper. The lady behind the counter barely even glanced at her work station before stating no. She claimed the only tires they had that fit my truck, were the pre ordered tires at that price.I contested the price again before she saw the mistake and then lowered the price back down.Fast forward about 40 minutes later and the store calls me. Stating ALL my Lug nuts were bad and had to be forcibly removed. That cost of these Lug nuts would be around $100.I stated I should have been called before they were all removed as I didnt have but 40 dollars for groceries until pay day. That money was to feed my child. They said they would call back. Minutes later they call me to state that the lugnuts could be replaced for $40.Really, you remove all Lug nuts and charge me without calling first, to ensure I could afford it. Then you call back saying youll take all the money I have for food. WHAT A JOKE.Had you called first, I would have paid for the single bad lugnut and drove off until I could afford to come back the following week. But you were confident you could attempt to upsell me, twice.Pssst! Heres a little secret. My Lug nuts were fine. Sure its possible that one or so may have failed. Theres some probability in that sure. But what i didnt tell you at the counter was, I had just put on used tires to get me through Christmas, i did this myself (as I have many many times) and my lug nuts were fine.I spoke to someone else when I got back to the store and demanded either my old Lug Nuts or the new free (I didnt cause a scene). They never even offered or considered to show them too me. Im sure you can guess why.The cherry on top:I leave with my truck and noticed my passenger window was rolled down and off the track. Nobody told me this. Why would you roll down the passenger window? And if you damage it, why not own up to it. Thanks GoodYear. Im now driving with a taped window as an attempt to keep heat in my vehicle. If i fix it myself, that $75 you cost me. But i dont have that money right now. Looks like you did get me to spend extra, even if it means spending it at AutoZone, to fix my passenger window....What a joke. It took me a while to right this as i was so upset. I decided to publish it after i read all the other reviews that state same situations. I will go to Wal-Mart for new tires well before I go GoodYear again, and thats saying something.
This place is full of a bunch of bullies who take advantage of people who are not knowledgeable about cars. I went in for a front end alignment two years ago and they told me I couldnt leave without getting my control arm replaced. I told them I didnt have the money and didnt want to get it done and they said my car cannot leave their shop without it being done. Kevin the manager raised his voice at me, belittled me saying I didnt know what I was talking about, and made me cry. Ended up being a thousand plus in the hole. Fast forward to today, took it to get another front end alignment and they tried to give me the same song and dance about the control arm. I said it had a warranty from last time. They conveniently couldnt find it in their computer. Thankfully I had a copy of it in my glove box and theyre honoring it. I dont understand how this place is still in business since such a crappy manager is in charge.
Had a blow 100 miles from home after 5:00. These guys got me in, taken care of & on my way home in less than 45 mins. They werent the most friendly, but Ill take fast & efficient over friendly & slow.
Took a little longer than I hoped but wonderful service!
Couldnt be happier with the service! I BADLY need two new tires...I shopped around, first I went to Sams Club where I bought the back tires last winter, they told me the frame was cracked so they couldnt lift my van, and I needed new lugnets...hmmm...so no tires there. I went to Belle Tire and they did NOT have the tires that their website said they did, nor any in the same price range...no tires there. I found Goodyear on the internet, LOVE LOVE LOVE the online appointment making option, SO much better than trying to spell my last name over the phone, GENIUS! Made an appointment, walked in a few minutes before my appointed time, they are super friendly, took my van back, the whole time Im sitting there waiting for them to come and tell me all the things that need to be fixed and its going to be thousands of dollars, nope, just needed an alignment which I already knew. They didnt pressure me at all to get the alignment, but I did anyway. Great service, no mention of the van having a cracked frame, or bad lugnuts, so Im assuming Sams was wrong. Done long before the estimated time. They just won a customer for life unless something changes drastically, no more crap tire places for me. Thank you!
Pricey but good service.
The people at Goodyear are top-notch know what theyre talking about and get you right in and out
Good, experienced people who do good work. In the decades that Ive come here, Ive had only one problem, and they fixed it at no charge with no questions.
Great service, they repaired a bad tire (almost flat from a nail) at no cost 👍 I wanted a second spare key for my car and it took less than 24 hours 👍 at a reasonable price.
Had tires that werent holding pressure. My husband took my car in and they said they would clean the rims, check the stems and make sure they werent leaking for any other reason. When I got in my car the tire pressure monitor was still saying low pressure, guy told me if I drove it it would go off and assured me my tires were just dandy. Well, here I am a week later with the same problem. Needless to say I wont be back.
Are good enough but there are better places elsewhere
Lying terrible staff, always trying to make a quick buck. You could go in for an alignment and theyd tell you that your driveshaft is broke. Kevin pis the manager and he treats you like an idiot. And if you dont know alot about cars (like my grandma) you could be tricked into paying alot more than you need to. They will take advantage of anyone who looks like they dont know much about cars
Superior customer service, good prices, Ive checked around with other companies, Goodyear always has the best prices. The one thing that impressed me the most and keeps me coming back is their customer service.
Always the best in car service from mufflers to breaks, service is done rather quickly and their waiting area is grand.
Went in last sunday to get my tire leak repared. Only took 1 hour and free of charge!
Great service & prices !
They fix flat tires for no charge. Very professional and efficient. They are very busy.
Called an hour before closing, they got me in and they fixed a punctured tire for free. Will definitely shop here for tires when needed.
Great service and friendly people.
Very nice staff. Quick service.
Got some tires for my truck ...great service
I had a leak in the valve stem on a tire, and this shop was able to fix it in about two minutes while I stood there on Labor Day.
The help and service I received was outstanding...
Had a leak in my tire. They got me in and fixed it right away for free.
Friendly, direct, and willing to go above and beyond for customer service.
So nice and helpful
Great place for car repair.
Friendly, Great Service !!
