Quite possibly the worst pharmacy Ive ever dealt with. Got some rxs transfered from a Texas pharmacy and gave them a 2 weeks heads up about them. Called in to get some filled and asked how long, they said 1 hour. So came back a FEW hours later and they still were not done. When asked how long they said another hour. After finally getting them filled they said 1 was not covered even though it has always been covered. Called the insurance and they were running the wrong prescription. The people here are so incompetent its actually terrifying and no one should be trusting their prescriptions in the hands of this amount of ignorance. Next time I needed a refill, since apparently I didnt learn my lesson from the first time, they told me 2 hours and still 3 days later its not filled.
Outstanding customer service. I called at 11:50 AM EDT on April 11 for a hard-to-fill prescription, and the pharm tech handling my call (neglected to write down her name) was incredibly friendly and proactively helpful. This location was out-of-stock, however, she found another location that had the medicine in-stock then forwarded my prescription to such location. Thanks for such great service and assistance. This person deserves store level commendation or a bonus.
This store continues to advertise that its open 24hrs but in fact its been closing at 2am for over a year now. The sign on the door says 24hrs. The web site says 24 hrs. The message on the answering system says 24hrs. The people there at night are lazy and rude.
I am giving 1 star because I really don’t understand how it says open 24 hours, but anytime I come past 2 it’s closed! I asked the lady what time they open back up she tells me 6am ! This is so inconvenient and false information!
People in the medical field aren’t perfect I get it but I love the fact that they’re open 24 hours when they don’t have to be. Another thing, this goes to all the reviewers who worry about if another person wears their mask or not. I hate when strangers/customers stay worrying about if a worker has their mask on or not or following the pandemic rules blah blah! Hb just worry about you having a mask on don’t worry about other folks! The workers in the store probably feel comfortable around each other to slide down their masks for a bit or maybe they had to sneeze or scratch etc. anything! So that’s no concern to you! I hate folks who worry about the wrong business, mind your own!
Always a wonderful shopping experience.
They just put you on hold for 15 min then hang up on you. Terrible. Transferring to CVS.
Dont answer phones.. Dont file paper work correctly... Cant file out patient info properly.. Just dont care and is a paycheck only...pray you dont die because you dont get your meds
Every time I have gone to this location I am forced to wait at an empty register because the employees feel that whatever conversation they are having with the pharmacist is obviously more important than doing their jobs. The only time I do encounter an employee on the floor is when they are standing at the end of an aisle as if I am going to steal something but are gone the minute I am ready to check out.
Not a single employee wearing a mask at the drive-thru at 2:30 AM. In-store shopping closes for unscheduled daily cleaning but I cant expect much from that when employees clearly arent taking the pandemic seriously...
Absolutely impossible staff. I have been put on hold while actually being hung up on multiple times. When trying to call in a script for a patient, this pharmacy makes it a very difficult experience for myself and the patient at hand. Very rude and unpleasant people to deal with. If I could give zero stars I would.
What a hard working store. It’s come a long way and I am happy with the direction
Worst. Pharmacy. Ever. Waited over 15 minutes at the pharmacy counter, in line behind 1 person. The customer needed help navigating the complications involving medications, insurance coverage, and cost. I didnt mind waiting on his behalf. He needed help and was getting it. What I did mind was that there were a few non-pharmacists working behind the counter and they chose not to open a second register. When I finally requested my purchase (Zyrtec-D), they reviewed my license and informed me I couldnt make the purchase because my license was expired. Well, yes. Many licenses are expired! The Secretary of States offices were closed for 3 months, and since reopening, it takes a month to get an appointment. Newsflash - the state waived that expiration to 9/30. When I reminded them of this they said if it were cigarettes or alcohol, they could probably look the other way but they cant do that for medication. Wow.I left and went to Rite Aid, where they were fully aware of the latest regulations and didnt bat an eye about my license. Needless to say, I wont return to Walgreens.
Pharmacy can be busy at times but the staff are very friendly and helpful! The actual store I have had one or two bad experiences. I have been there a lot so one or two bad experiences out of 100s is fairly good. The bad experiences I have had the first one I had one of the workers follow me through out the store for the WHOLE time like I was trying to steal something and actually said something as I was walking out with my prescription. “Can I see your receipt, you looked like you stole something” is what she said after accusing me of stealing I got really mad! We exchanged a few hateful comments and I was on my way. The second time was similar except they just followed me the whole time and did not say anything. I understand why they were watching but not for as long as they did. It was late night so that was probably one of the reasons, I would like to think it was not due to my nationality.I gave it a 4 star because I do not base the business as a whole on one or two employees that probably don’t even work there anymore. Other then that all of the other employees have been nice and helpful. I go here at least once a week, I love that it is 24 hours !
The pharmacy lies about the wait times on meds. Was told two hours, then suddenly it become 3 hours - use only as a last resortEven better was walking through store you hear everyone is required to wear a mask, one staff member had hers around her neck
Great pharmacy, with locations Nationwide. This is very important for both me AND my husband, as we are Snowbirds, wintering in FL 6 most., Then back to Michigan for the summer. Walgreens has ALL of my prescriptions, so if I run out or need another asthma inhaler, no problem!!Theyre the BEST!!!
The Pharmacy is the worst in town- go anywhere but there. Ridiculous long lines, regardless of times, rude employees ( including Pharmacists ), inadequate & undertrained staff, phone calls are answered routinely at a call center NOT at the Store, then you are transferred to the Jolly/Cedar location only to sit on Hold for anywhere from 10-25 minutes, the drive through is always closed or backed up to Jolly Road, paying ahead is of NO use, I’ve been hung up on by employees intentionally and when I aired my grievances, I was told I could take my 15 plus prescriptions elsewhere. Sounds good to me 👍
Everybody back in the pharmacy feel like they deal with junkies all day so everybody is a junkie. Very rude people do not like to help or go outside the realm, one of the worst places in town.
If there was a way to give a negative star rating, I would do so.I am beyond disappointed at tonights service.Walgreens tonight.410 E Jolly RdLansing, MI 4891One of the worst customer experiences Ive ever had in my entire life.I was so looking forward to going there, too.Up until tonight, I have always enjoyed going to Walgreens... Tonight changed all that.First, CVS told me they didnt receive the rest of my Rx, and, didnt even call to let me know.Yet, at least they called around to find the Walgreens that was still open.Yet, when I drove there (about 40 min one way), they said they were charging me $7.00 for 13 pills, when the whole order should be $7.00!!!!They then proceeded to tell me that they would then double charge me for the whole order another $7.00 when they were able to back order the full amount in July!!!!Okay...I feel very taken advantage of by a place I used to enjoy going to...I was so looking forward to going to Walgreens to buy items I usually cant buy anywhere else.I left there, with the pills I needed, because that cramp medication= really needed right now... Yet, shame on them.Im very disappointed and feel like they took advantage of my vulnerability right now.I pray for Karma.
The pharmacy at jolly and Cedar. Worst experience ever. I called and originally they said my that they did not have the medicine to fill my prescriptions. I went there when they called and said that they had been filled to pick them up and found that only one had been filledI then asked what happened to the other 1 and the person behind the counter told me well they didnt have it that their was some kind of national shortage, which I think was BS. I tried to discuss this with him. I asked had he bothered to call the other Walgreens to see if they had any and/or other pharmacies. He turned around and Ieft. I will be changing pharmacies .I see no reason to stay with them.
Got my vaccine! Staff was friendly, little wait time, and totally painless.
Only gave 1 star because these people DO NOT care about their customers! I had 2 prescriptions called in an hour before I arrived and I still had to wait another 40 min with two extremely sick children. Ridiculous! Right aid has our prescription ready in 10 min. We only came here because we had to since it was Sunday after 6pm. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Very satisfied with the service at the pharmacy. Staff are helpful and understanding.
The pharmacy is my problem. Called in my prescription on a Friday. They told me they had the drug and it would be ready to pick up same day. I then waited 45 minutes as they filled the prescription only to find out it would be out of stock. They were getting more on Monday but I go home to Detroit on the weekends since I’m only in Lansing for school. So I tried calling other Walgreens and same thing so I called again to tell them I would get it Monday. Come in today. They still don’t have the drug and no other alternatives. You could say I was upset almost started crying out of anger. Terrible place. When I was there Friday another lady who was crying with an eye patch on said she waited almost and hour for her medication because they forgot to call her name. Hire people who know what they are doing Jesus Christ.
When our poster was not printing correctly for our step-fathers passing, Cassie was amazing and fixed it in a timely manner and was so helpful.
Ill probably die before I get my prescription.
This store has great service. The manager personally accommodated me after I had issues with another store. I would definately recommend this location.
Pharmacy is RIDICULOUS. Always slow. Always a very long wait. Called in my birth control perscription and it took almost a day to process. Called it in at Target down the road and got it within an hour. Staff is nice but everything takes forever.
Excellent service the employees go above & beyond to make you feel welcome, even in my camp getup.
Quite possibly the friendliest store in Lansing. Very organized and well stocked.
It was late, I needed a bottle of Aspirin, the employees appeared busy but were helpful.
In and out at 5.30am, very friendly
The people that work here are helpful and the manager helped us get a SD card out of a wrong slot at the kiosk machine we were very grateful for that. Thank you.
Prices are too high. This a corporation problem.Jolly Rd store has helpful people. Usually has what I want.
Been going here for everything from scripts to groceries for the past few years and a walgreens has never let me down :) will always love these stores!
Today was one of the worst days ever. It’s been 3 days without my medication and Walgreens has given me not 1 but 3 different excuses. The first was my insurance wasn’t going through, then it was too early to pick it up and finally they said I got a 90 day supply. All excuses were lies. The pharmacist treated me like a junkie. I don’t drink, smoke and I’m educated but I was treated like I was trying to buy crack when all I wanted was my medication because of the extreme pain I was in. When I said I wanted to change pharmacies he replied “Well we have a system and it doesn’t lie”, as if I was the one lying! My family and friends warned me about this pharmacy but I gave it a chance only to be treated like trash. I would shop in Walgreens at LEAST twice a week and was a loyal customer. I never felt so disrespected.
This store is totally incompetent. First they cheated me out of 18 pills in December, I had to wait in line for 20 minutes and then they knew nothing about it, even though the manager assured me they would be waiting when I arrived. Last week I dropped off a prescription Thursday afternoon the doctor had filled it out with errors. They were supposed to order it that afternoon, they never called the doctor until Monday when I called to see if it had come in. I also requested a refill for a non narcotic prescription with 3 refills on it, they had to call the doctor for some reason, and it took them 5 days to fill the order. I took them both to another pharmacy and they were filled in 30 minutes, I will never do business with this store again. I never learn
They are always kind and professional. I experience no friction coming here...my prescription are filled in a reasonable amount of time....this location is open 24 hours a day and they have a covered drive thru
Pharmacy can be busy. Expect to wait. Staff is always courteous and helpful.
Parking lot scattered with trash unbecoming to customers
I have been a loyal customer. I go to Walgreens at least 3 times a week. Until now. My 3 yr old daughter and I were there on Saturday night. While waiting for a prescription to be filled I decided to do a little shopping. I let my baby girl play with a baby doll toy to distract her while I shopped. When i go to the counter I was greeted by a white haired overweight elderly woman who is usually always there on Saturday nights. I gave the toy my daughter was playing with to her and told her I didnt need it because it was only used to destract my baby from acting up. She was very smug and replied so your not going to pay for the toy after you let your daughter play with it? there was nothing done to the toy it was in perfect condition when I gave it to her. She had a attitude. So I said would you rather have my daughter screaming and crying through the store while I shop and wait for a script? And then I asked, do you have a problem? She replied that she did have a problem with me letting my daughter hold a toy while I shopped with no intention to pay for it. I then asked her to let me speak to a manager. I then got a nice young lady who told me the main manager wasnt in and she would let her know about the incedent. She didnt ask me for my name or phone number. Just in case the soo called main manager wanted to contact me. So how do I know if this got taken care of or just thro under the rug? Terrible customer service by the elderly white haired woman who works on Saturday nights. I spend $50 to 100$ a week there. And they just lost my business.
I have been coming to this Walgreens for over 12 years and never have I been Id for buying cough medicine. And I told the cashier to be sure everyone else took me through the same process or meaning everyone else should be retrained if thats their POLICY! Because this has never happened. He was rude and a complete wise ass!!!!
The wrost rx store, over an hour and half to fill one script ! Then the lady talked on the phone for 20 minutes. And you could tell it was a personal call. All laughs and giggles. 3rd shift was so rude. Never getting scripts here again.
So slow. Wont answer phone. Charges when Target/CVS doesnt. I want to switch to Rite Aid!!
I wish I could give 0 stars because I went there to take a passport pictures and the lady was being so rude to me. She took forever to print out my pictures and didn’t tell me how long it’s going to take so I told her I didn’t have time and she goes “yes, you do” um okay how do you know??... I’m never coming back again. Do not go there!!
Biggest and crappiest rx in town. Takes over a hour to get something filled. And then lie to you about getting rxs filled. The tech tried to tell me that there is a 45 delay when another doctors office calls it in. Which is bs
The pharmacy is so slow it’s unbearable.
The only 24 hour pharmacy I know of.
Store experience was ok. Pharmacy is one of the slowest ever. And calling is avoided is possible, hold time is so long!
Employees are always polite and helpful
Service suck every time, very rude!!
The pharmacy is always slow and understaffed.
Pharmacy hours very convenient
They are very polite and quick
20 minutes of standing at the pharmacy and still no help
Slow prescriptions! Had 24hrs to fill it and when I arrived that had done nothing. NOW they need to call the Dr and wait some more.
Always a line at the drivethru😶
Ok
Great
