Haven’t used their services but after reading others reviews…..well more so the belittling of people by the owner in his responses when someone leaves a less than desirable review, Shows me what kind of person is running this business. I will gladly take my business else where. REPLY I can get on here and say whatever I like and I can say that you sir act like a child with your responses you can make your point on here by telling your side without acting like a 12 year old. I promise I know more about how the WORLD works than you could ever imagine.

The wife and I had started planning our first big project for our new house - a 15x20 ft deck. We shopped around at Home Depot and Lowes, as well as Jerrys in Eugene, before finding Spaeth here in Lebanon. We placed an order for delivery and were excited to start building this morning.Due to an issue with the supplier, our lumber ended up being delayed, causing a little panic on our end. Michael ended up calling us, informing us of other alternatives and ended up getting us our lumber only a day later than we originally anticipated. Huge thanks to Michael for saving our project and giving phenomenal customer service!

Purchased for the first time from this place. Prices ok, but quality of lumber is questionable. You must select yourself. Delivery was awful, when they say delivery they just dump it off the truck, dont help you get it to the location needed. For the delivery charge it is the least they should do. Customer service needs alot of work. Business needs to remember they are in a small town, word of mouth goes a long way...... Do not recommend!

Yard help radioed office requesting mgr. come out to talk with customer. No response. I returned items I bought with mgr. he belittled me and showed no interest in hearing what I had to say. I told him I just moved to the area and will take my business to Albany. He cracked wise again.

Last week I bought 2 units of 1/2 plywood base on the quality of the stack they had on display in front of their store and was assured the units would be the same quality. Well seems to have turned out to be a bait and switch.When I unloaded the sheets they were mostly garbage and every sheet will need bad areas cut out to make them usable. Called the store to ask about it and the best I could get out of them is sorry bout that because their receipts say no returns. Ive attach only a few pics because I didnt want to up load the other 100+ sheets that are destined for the burn pile.Ill never spend another dime there.

Dont shop here if you or anyone in your household is autoimmune compromised. Mask mandates and Covid safety are a joke here. If you wear your mask while working you are called a sheep by coworkers to customers. Masks are only worn when theres a Karen at the store. Disgruntled employee? The review is 100% truthful. Tell me otherwise.

I’ve gone into this store 2-3 times so far, for different interior organization projects and to get lumber to build a temporary bed frame. The customer service and the knowledge the employees have taught me is incomparable to any other lumber business I’ve been to. That includes lumber companies up and down the Oregon coast, Corvallis, and Albany. I’m a young twenties blonde lady who knows enough about diy to get what I need In materials and learn as I go, but the employees here taught me about different types of lumber, probed for questions about my needs to educate me further, treated me with absolute respect, and humored me all at the same time. The tall gentleman usually at the register is my favorite, I wish I would’ve got his name! (If you’re reading this, sorry I tried to woodsplain what growth rings are! I’m kinda awkward with communicating what I need sometimes, especially when I don’t know the common verbiage for lumber terms! It gave me a good laugh and actually inspired me to finally write this review haha!) I’ve never felt so empowered and encouraged by a business before.The employees are A+++ and the prices are great, they fluctuate with the market to stay competitive, and from a business standpoint, that’s very respectable. I will be returning to this business for my every need from now on because the customer service is THAT good. Not to mention the quality of the lumber, the variety of selection, and the free giggles I get every time I visit. Supporting our smaller businesses is important, especially in today’s crazy times. You‘ve got a lifetime customer for life! Thank you for your amazing service! I’ll be back shortly for more lumber needs.

From the looks of the plywood there was quite a bit to be desired after moving five sheets that were completely destroyed I found one that was almost usable.

The only unfortunate thing about Spaeth is that when I pull in, I don’t know for sure that they will have everything I need, due to it being a smaller store. That being said, I will go to Spaeth first every time. The employees are all extremely nice and helpful. The prices are much better that Wilco and Ace as well. Thank you Spaeth!

Drove up from Eugene for the decent prices on lumber. I chose not to purchase because no one. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE was wearing a mask in the store. Employees included. It was VERY obvious they were doing it on purpose.

It is easy to wear a mask properly. Get with the program Spaeth! Very disappointed that employees and managers dont care about public health or their customers in Lebanon.

They have good prices on finish plywood. Overall better prices than the big box store on lumber.

The worst customer service. We drove from salem prepaid for the product, got there and it was the wrong product. The product was damaged and the salesman Michael would not allow us to pull the damaged product and charged us full price. The load was not strapped properly and came undone during travel. The trailer and product was severely damaged during loading even after our request to hand load. I will never go back!! Additionally THEY OVER CHARGED MY CARD by $200.00!! The female there was exceptional and should be the person in charge. She tried to help but was bullied by the male salesman.
