I had a climate controlled unit for almost 5 years.The grounds were always clean and well kept. The office staff was always friendly and helpful. None of my items were damaged by rodents or bugs, etc. I highly recommend this Public Storage facility.

She walked me down to the unit I was going to rent and worked with me to get a unit closest to the entry doors. We made a multi state move and Nakia made this position seamless. Very thankful.

The Public Storage located at 1474 Justin Road 407 Lewisville, TX 75077, not only do they charge you for spaces that we dont have, but they also want to charge you for the entire month for one day after December 31st. I left my space on January 1 and they want to charge $ 175 for the whole month .. They are definitely scammers ... Look for other companies, for the same space 50% less and better attention, cleaning and seriousness to keep your belongings ... do not use Public Storage, they are thieves and scammers and less the one located at 1474 Justin Road 407 Lewisville, TX 75077. They are shameless and includes their District manager.

This facility is clean, and security is good. The gentleman up front, Michael, was very helpful. My only recommendation for them to improve upon is to have customers contact their own insurance company before doing paperwork, as they may find they have the required coverage and do not need to sign up for the in house insurance. Other than that, they are doing a fine job from what I can see.

Their customer service from their employees, like Michael, are exceptional. They do everything they can to meet your needs and are very intentional about making your experience beyond satisfactory. Its truly remarkable. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone nearby who needs a storage unit of any kind.

I went to 4 storage places yesterday asking questions and prices. I will tell you the reason we rented at this facility was because of the knowledge and time Peter had when touring. He helped us figure out what size we might need for what we need the space for. He took the time to explain everything from start to finish. Appreciate his professionalism and knowledge. Thank you to Michael and his staff for a great storage experience and great service. The space was always clean and easy to access. I can honestly say this is a well managed operation. We were with you for well over a year and never had any problems. If I am ever in need of storage again I will call you first!

UPDATE: Beware of dishonesty and changing prices significantly. We went in, set up an appointment and got what I thought at the time was a reasonable price. I asked if the price would ever go up and I was told that as long as we occupy that unit, it will not change. Well 6 months later it went up. 20%!!! It is now an additional $53 from when we signed up. It is in the very fine print but I was naive enough to take Michael’s word for it. They also say in the contract that they will give a 30 day warning prior to price increase, but that did not happen. That is a breach of contract.ALSO I should mention that Michael HAGGLED me for a review. Called all the time. Stopped me at the unit. I finally gave a review because he was a nice guy and I had a good experience thus far. Well that’s what all these 5 star reviews are from. People reviewing public storage based off their first interactions. After that, you wait 7-10 minutes to get on the phone with a customer rep and they wouldn’t even speak to me because my wife is the primary but I’m an authorized user!?PLEASE do yourself a favor and find a nice local unit or a trustworthy unit around here. I know Dallas and the suburbs LOVE their big box stores but believe me, it’ll be worth it. Even if the monthly payment is slightly more, in the long run, public storage will take advantage of you.Original review:The prices are very reasonable and the units are all very nice. Chris is a great manager here at this location! I never had any problems and had the best location of my unit near the doors. Chris helped me and made my transition smooth. I have had this storage for over 2 years now. I would highly recommend this location. Be sure to ask for Chris!

Safety First when it Comes to your Storage Space.

Great storage, great prices, helpful staff. I closed out my unit a couple weeks ago and the staff was extremely quick and polite.

Jonathan greeted me with a smile and was able to explain all the fees and particulars for the location. He was very considerate in my needs and allowed me to have a storage container delivered so I could move my belongings to Public Storage. Here I have access to my belongings and will be saving a ton of money!

Jonathan was great. Ive rented twice now and its been amazing. I always get in and out fast. I recommend this place to everyone.

My experience with Public Storage is all good. Very pleased with the facility, the unit I rented and the employees are all very helpful. Cyle explained everything to me when I selected the unit. Chris was the one I spoke to on the phone and he also was very informative and answered all my questions. The unit was convenient to get to from the truck area. The facility is very clean. The only difficulty was finding an available cart to sign out. On one occasion another woman asked to borrow mine before I was finished. Another time I waited for a man to be finished to borrow the cart he check out. That is a bit of a bother if you are on a time schedule. Also I am not pleased that I have to get put of the vehicle to put in my code both when entering and leaving. There is no way to get close enough to the code box.

Rented a unit and unloaded my things. Turns out it wasnt big enough, so I asked to rent another unit. The manager on duty said she would rent me one at 3x the price if I left a 5 star review and bought some boxes I didnt need. It was close to closing time and she knew I had nowhere else to put my stuff, so she scammed me. Horrible service, and horrible people. Do not rent from here.

This particular Public Storage gets my highest recommendation. Ive been a customer at this location for well over ten years and so there have been a few changes in the staff but I am always treated beautifully - with care, concern and clear information. I dont know if other locations are this consistent in great customer service, but you cant go wrong here! If you need storage of any size, I suggest you check for availability here - youll be glad you did! Andrea and the entire staff are awesome!

Geoff helped me find the $1 spot and Chris was helpful in getting me setup. Also I forgot the guys name on the phone who I originally made the reservation with was just as helpful and had a really wonderful persona on the phone. Everyone provided good customer service. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

Our last storage experience was a disaster at brand X. The unit leaked and damaged everything on the floor. The last place was filthy and all our boxes were covered in mice droppings. At Public Storage, Tonya and Chris were friendly, helpful and professional. The facility is extremely clean, water tight and conditioned. A world of difference. And the price is comparable on a square foot basis. No contest. Public Storage is the place to be.

Absolutely the worst deal and the worst service and the rudest people that I have ever encountered in my life. Their insurance they force you to buy covers Sonic booms and sinkholes but not fire or flood. $200 for an outside unit not climate-controlled or secured or 24 hours when you can go down the street and get the same unit for $40 at ambassador
