The 2 stars are for the uhaul trucks. Never had an issue.As for the storage units, I moved my cookware from my apartment straight to the storage, I was willing to pay the extra needed for the fact that it was protected from the heat and pests.We moved into our new house, and started unpacking, and found bugs in our kitchen boxes… they were only in there for about 4 months. Definitely going elsewhere for storage if I ever need to!
Great U-Haul location. I just moved to from Lewisville to Austin today, but have used this U-Haul location for years. The service was nice and it was a fast and easy in and out. Rates were the same as I had scheduled online and the associate who helped me was very attentive and funny. I appreciate the nice service and thank you for the past few years of business.
READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU GO THERE!!!!Took a trailer yesterday 9-12-21. They said the guy that does it will be in at one today, so got there today at 100. Said he had to work the counter fom a min, then do a hitch install and then us. About a hour and half later came out and said that they dont do my kind of trailer.( Gooseneck, my running lights was not working) what????? Then why did you not say that yesterday or today and save me time and money from coming back..never again.

Reserved and paid for uhaul online and did the web check in. Still had to stand in line for 45 minutes to get the truck then was told they didn’t have the supplemental equipment I booked online. Then I was told I needed to load the dollys onto the truck because they are short staffed. Okay, cool. Whatever. Moved all my stuffs from one place to the next. Stopped at gas station to fill the tank back up and locked the dang keys in the cab. Submitted a roadside assistance ticket online and called the number. 2 hours later no one has reached out so I call a local locksmith. Spent $275 for a locksmith to come unlock the door. STILL on hold waiting for someone to answer when I walk into the store only for the gentlemen at the desk to tell me there’s nothing he can do, that it’s typical for roadside assistance to take several hours. It’s the middle of Texas summer. No one has the time to be sitting in a parking lot sweating to death waiting “several” hours to get their keys. Yes, it’s my fault the keys got locked in there but come on Uhaul. Your customer service is in the toilet. “Immediate assistance” and “you’re in control” play over and over and over on the recording. That’s a freakin joke.
I have done business with this U-Haul for many years, but my recent experience is not fair. I went into this location last month and my storage was $134.95. When the final paperwork was done, it changed to &144.95. I pointed it out to the Manager and he told me that he would take care of it. Now my bill is due and I noticed the amount hasn’t changed. I called and spoke with the Manager and he advised me that he was told that the rates can’t be changed. It can only be done by Corporate. Well, I think it’s time for Corporate to make a change because my storage should be $134.95. I’m planning on being in this storage for a while and $10 a month is a big amount for me especially when I’m already trying to make ends meet.
Horrible place of business, they are not very willing to help you and God forbid you need some propane! Dont try because they wont do it.

Keep away, this location will rip off your money; they use your credit on file as it’s their own money, they Double charge me because of their employees fault also they steal you on the mileage,,, lazy store employees just wast our money and now our time to complain about that.Will go further more to make sure this location have to respect their customers and to be honest with them

This place is a joke. No one ever answers the phone here. ALWAYS a 30+ min wait on hold to pay your bill! Ridiculous!! And there’s never no one in the store so no reason not to answer the phones. Can’t wait to get out of there!
5 employees standing around, 2 “working” the counter. Zero came out to refill propane. 1 other customer onsite. I went up to their counter and asked for assistance. Nobody showed up for 15 minutes. I called and they said they would send someone right out. Nobody came out. I went up to the counter after another 15 minutes and politely asked if they forgot. Extra guy at the counter with no customers onsite sympathetic and said he wished he could do it but everyone was busy. I see 2 guys helping a customer and a group of three standing in a circle in their garage chatting it up. I asked, you mean those three having a great conversation for 30 minutes? Not one can break away for the 2 minutes it takes to fill a propane tank? Nope not those guys. Apparently nobody can do anything here while a customer waits without being helped for 30 minutes.
Generally rude and unhelpful lady inside. Apparently all she could say was system is down, we can’t do anything right now. Good luck with that.
Some of the dumbest and incompetent people I have ever met. I have been coming here for years, but not any longer.
HORRIBLE experience. They towed my vehicle after parking exactly where the guy inside told me to park. Then they started charging me DOUBLE every day for the rental fee until I returned the truck. I was also told I could keep it as long as needed, but then the store started calling every day saying they had reservations for other families. Even the day I returned the truck they said this. Come to find out, there were 3 other trucks of the same size sitting on the lot! When I called to find out who/where my vehicle was towed, I was told I had to drive to the location and look at the sign in the parking lot. They would not tell me over the phone, even though they were at the location! I will be filing a fraud claim with my credit card company, as they doubled the rate and started charging me daily. When I returned the truck, the app showed half the amount they charged to my card and they wanted to charge me MORE! Worst U-Haul experience ever. Staff is rude and unhelpful. Will NEVER use this location again, possibly never use U-Haul at all. 0 stars.
Rude customer service. There is an older lady with a broken arm who hates her job. She will also talk down to people she thinks she can get away with it.
Scott Banas was super helpful. He didn’t have to help us but he stills did with loading our car to the dolly to be moved. He definitely deserves a raise! Lady inside was trying to charge us extra for that. Scott went the extra mile.
I renewed my Texas drivers license and was instructed by DPS personnel to destroy my expired license because it was no longer valid, and to prevent identity fraud, it needed to be destroyed asap. I let them destroy it at dps to make sure I was compliant. U haul wont let you rent a $68 trailer with my absolutely valid, temporary drivers license even though I have multiple other forms of ID, including a passport! I guess they think they are more important than Texas DPS!!!!@
Drove quite a ways to get here and waited in their long long line only to be told no body was there to pump propane. No apology just come back later.
I’ve been trying to call this location for 4 hours and no one picks up the phone. When they do they say please hold and put me on hold until I hang up 10 minutes later. I only had a quick question about the uboxes, but if this is a preview to what business is like at this location I will go somewhere else.
Arived long line and one person working took over an hour to get my rental. Then come out that thay reservation wrong so had to redo. A lot of wasted time and i was on a tight time line.
Great service! Michael really helped us out. Needed some trailer wiring completed in the middle of our cross-country journey and he was able to accommodate and get it knocked out right away. Very friendly and helpful staff...reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend!!
It’s a great place if you want to be told one thing on the phone, and something different inside the store. Called in for equipment rental, said they had plenty available, drove up there, and then was informed they had been reserved all day.

Took my Dodge Grand caravan to get a hitch installed. Couldnt complete the work due to equipment issues. Never was refunded. No hitch and Im out $345. Buyer beware. Shady practices.
My husband went into our storage building which we have had for over 9 years; he got everything out of the truck to discover that they had put a lock was on our storage block.When asking them why, they said my business credit card expired. When asked why they didn’t call or email about this, they said they don’t always call. They just put a lock on (which means if it’s not paid in 3 months, it becomes THEIRS!) They just locked it down without letting us know anything. The credit card didn’t declined. It was expired! I had the business credit card we use for this, so my husband had to drag everything back into the truck.Who does that?! What kind of professional business practice is this?! Don’t bother with this storage facility. Use the storage facility next door. THEY call you when your credit card expires. (We have storage in both places). I thought this was done I’m a shady manner. I’m very blown away by the lack of business sense at this place.

Would like to give this 0 stars!! Customer service is atrocious! Rude, snarky comments fro multiple staff members and just an outright horrendous experience. Ill go to the business 121 location every time but I will NEVER go to this store. Oh, and theyre about $45 more expensive on EVERY storage unit. Go down to business 121 its only a couple of miles but well worth it.
They put all over their website that its required to do online check in before coming to the store to save time and reduce covid exposure but ibe been sitting in this lobby for 40 minutes in a line while individuals do allllll of their paperwork right at the desk, in a line of 8 people, 5 staff members inside but only one person actually helping customers.Way to flatten the curve uhaul

Friendly staff, super easy to get in and out of. They hook up and detach the trailer for you. This was great for my wife when she picked up the trailer. Clean building and parking lot. Also they sell propane which I didnt know, will go to get the tank refilled next time.
Can we talk about how great U-Haul is? First, the lady who helped me schedule everything made sure I got the best deal and was very helpful. Then all 3 locations (pickup, storage, dropoff) were very helpful, kind, productive, etc. I dont post reviews very often -but thank you U-Haul for a great day yesterday!
On 03/29/2018, I went to have my liquid propane tank refilled....They double-billed me for it. I called back a couple of hours later after having checked my account and to find out there was a duplicate charge for the same date/amount. I was told that that they could initiate the credit immediately. I checked my account again on 04/01/2018 and there still wasnt a credit. I called the 800 number for U-Haul and they couldnt find the transaction in their system despite this particular U-Haul location being a corporate owned entity. The rep finally got around to telling me that it would probably take 5-10 business days to process the credit. What!? You screw up double-billing me and now I (the victim) has to wait 5-10 days because of your screw-up!? Does anyone else think this is wrong? I told the rep that I want compensation for the hassle of time (time is money) spent dealing with THEIR mistake. She said I would have to talk with that store for any recompense. But isnt this a CORPORATE OWNED store? Clearly U-Haul doesnt go the extra mile (pun intended) to reconcile THEIR MISTAKES with THEIR CUSTOMERS. If I billed them for my professional time spent on FIXING THEIR MISTAKE, they would have to pay me $60-$120 for the effort. Its not about the money...its about the service, or lack thereof. Clearly U-Haul gives first priority to the paying customer....not those they STEAL it from....
I have had a storage unit with them for over a year. I walked in and got my storage unit on the 11th therefore my billing date is on that date. I checked my bank statements and noticed they have charged a 30 dollar late fee every month. Called to speak to someone about changing my date and got the runaround until I ended up with the manager Will, who rudely hung up on me when he tried to explain something that didn’t make sense and I called him out on it. Terrible customer service and I will be going into the location and removing my things from there if this issue is not fixed! Unbelievable that they treat customers in that manner.
We had our household items stored here for three years while we lived abroad. In that time, we never experienced a single issue and never had to worry about our belongings. If you must store things, this is a great place to do so.
My husband and I have a storage unit at this location. Prior to this experience, I had only positive experiences with U-Haul. Unfortunately we have received nothing but horrible customer service from this location. We paid to have extended access hours but soon realized our card didnt work. When we told employees about the issue, they told us to prop a door because they wanted to leave. We also asked about automatic payments and were told theyd set it up. I just received notice of a late fee so clearly they failed to follow through with that.
I’ve been trying to get a hold of someone for 3 days now and i just get put on hold.
These people do not care about customer service. If you want to deal with people that have an ( I could really care less) attitude this is your place. They are like zombies going through the motions with no emotions. I recommend any other uhaul rental place than this one.
If you enjoy waiting for long periods of time then you will love this place. I frequently stop in for propane for rv and every single time I stop in I wait 10 - 15 minutes for the person to leave the building to begin filling my tank.

I had the most horrendous customer service experience at that U Haul location today, on N Stemmons Freeway in Lewisville! I bought some furniture pads less than a week ago. It turns out I didn’t need them, I brought them back to the store for a refund. The employee who attended to me was literally the most obnoxious service employee that I’ve ever dealt with in my life. I didn’t have the receipt at the moment, which he claimed he wasn’t able to find in his computer. He said I must have made my purchase prior to May 7th, because his computer only goes that far back. I went back home and returned with the receipt, that clearly showed that the purchase was made 6 days ago on May 9th at 6:55p.The problem wasn’t that he didn’t want to give me the refund without the receipt, it was his, rude, disrespectful, sarcastic and condescending demeanor towards me. As I tried to talk to him about customer service, he interrupted me and told me to leave! The whole thing left me speechless! I didn’t bother asking to speak to a manager, because for him to treat customers like that, it must be the culture in that store. I just will never go back there again! No, no, no I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT FACILITY!

I called this location and the lady who answered the phone couldnt answer any of my questions. I went ahead and drove to this location to fill my propane tanks.....the same lady that knew nothing on the phone was even worse in person! She had no customer service and still couldnt answer any questions, she didnt try to find out the answers. Every questions was just like IDK and thats it. She told us that certain merchandise wasnt for sale???(Dark short haired girl). It is a bad idea to have ignorant, lazy, unfriendly, people in the office.When we went out to get the tanks filled Christie was awesome and friendly....we also were helped by the assistant manager who had good people skills and good customer service.

Stopped here for propane after dicovering that I was short changed by home store nearby. The representative was quick and efficient in getting my tank filled. He sent my receipt by email and I was done.
I have never felt like a valued customer here. The staff seems lazy, they dont even get out of their chairs to great you. I only use them because I dont have much choice when needing a moving truck
Thought it was going to be a good experience since it looks well kept. But heres the down fall, after a few months of renting 2 storage units they will raise your rates. So disappointed, now it just seems like theyre money hungry. 150$ to 175$ for one unit. Sorry uhaul but youre one of the highest prices in town. Ill be moving my stuff to a cheaper competitor. Greedy.
A bit pricey, but a 15 foot truck is perfect for moving two people. Self pickup/drop off is a great feature too
They got our trucks and towing trailers set up when expected. Id have giving 5 stars, except one of the tow dollies had a broken ramp that almost wrecked one of cars. (It wasnt their fault, but it was dangerous)

Their propane service is slow. Waited only to be told that they wont fill with lightning storms in the area. Why would that not be posted on one of the many signs surrounding the tank? Some people drive far for this service.

1 star for the prompt delivery and 1 for the punctual pick up...having said that, I moved to TX and it took some time for me to find an apartment. I retrived my Ubox after having it stored with Uhaul for a little over a year. when i unpacked the Ubox and went through everthing i got out of it, i found that I was missing quite a few items. i am the only one wit the key to the lock and it has been in my posession since i locked the ubox up. I dont know how someone could have accessed my ubox without having my key but it seems to have happened. I personally only accessed my ubox 1 time about a week after it arrived in TX and i took out 1 item then locked it right back up. now i have to go through claims in order to be maybe reimbursed for the items that i am missing. (sets of silverware, sets of pots and pans, crock pot, coffeemaker, ceramic dishware etc.). i know not every experience with them is bad but i believe there may be a thief at this uhaul location, so use them ty our own risk.
