I had to get a new wheel and rim for my car and one of my friends suggested Midas. In the end they were right, they were quick to fix what needed to be done and priced matched as one of the best in the area, if you want a affordable fix come here they will not disappoint.

I gave a 1 star as you must to leave a review. First off there quote was over $600 need the truck for minimum of 2 days to install as they had to order piping sections and the glasspacks. These city boys have no idea what a true exhaust shop should be able to do. In NC it takes roughly 2 hours to bend and install a professional dual exhaust system for half the cost of this store. I had asked about exhaust tips and was told I had to purchase elsewhere and they would install at an additional cost. Never again will I use such a poor quality outfit. Never Use Midas in lexington park MD.

I have been going to Midas in Lexington Park for the past few years, and have had nothing but good experiences there. Alex and his staff explain everything clearly and make sure all the work is taken care of with the vehicle. They make sure to notify you of any issues and give prompt estimates of the work needed. I would recommend this shop to anyone in Southern Maryland looking for a honest mechanic.

I got a flat tire and Im an hour away from home so pretty much stranded. This was the closest tire place. I was told they had no more appointments today and couldnt help me. I couldnt believe it leave a person stranded with a flat tire and no way home unless tire is fixed or replaced. Not impressed at all.

Excellent service I asked them to help fix my problem and they did I did a 5 lug swap on my car from 4 lug so the camber was way off and they fixed it to spec cause its hard to do that when your using different parts from another car thanks guys very much

The owner Alex is excellent to deal with and always gives an honest fair assessment when I take my vehicles in. Ive been taking all of my vehicles there for the past 2+ years and will continue to do so.

Wouldnt even give me a rough cost of what a muffler costs. Said I had to bring it in for them to look at it. Informed him I knew what needed replacement and I simply wanted a ballpark figure. Wouldnt even give me that without setting up an appointment, bringing in my car, then letting them take time out of my day to determine what I already know needs to be replaced. BOO!!!!

First of all Midas works with an appointment based system sure you may come in with a car emergency and theyll help you out, but its better to give them a call (they always answer) and set up an appointment. Second once you have an appointment be prepared to pay that same day, because they are fast! What I usually do is I get an estimate of the repair beforehand so I can plan accordingly, they check your car quickly an give you very accurate estimates so you can come another day. Lastly Ive had some serious repairs done there, EGR system in my civil was faulty, so I got that replaced (intake manifold had to be removed), axles and other stuff I cant remember, because Im a busy person and I rather be done with a problem quickly. Actually thats Midass strength fast reliable service done the same day, great place for people like me who doesnt have time to deal with car headaches. Remember that you get what you pay for, this is not the cheapest place but theyre the best at what they do.

I have been coming to this shop for three years and these guys are the best. I have never had to second guess their work or what they are telling me about my car. They are honest, friendly and I recommend this shop, these guys to anyone that is looking for some place to have their car service.

I just picked up my TrailBlazer after a couple days of work being done to it. The service done is fantastic, but the labor cost per hour is higher than most places. They didnt try to twist my arm into getting things I didnt need. The guy explained everything very well. The work done was needed in a hurry, and they are close to home. I had to get my car towed there because it would crank, but not start. Friendly and great service is worth the cost, but now Ill be paying on it for 6 months. :-/

My wife and I have both taken our vans to Lex Park Midas, they have always done quick work, for at or below estimate. They are honest and reliable. I just had a vehicle towed there today, even though it wasnt the closest, because I know I will get the best service.

They were great very fast and friendly. We will definitely be back for further services in the future.

I wanted to do a follow up review of the Midas location on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, MD. I have taken two different vehicles there with challenging mechanical issues. On both occasions my vehicles were repaired very quickly, correctly and at very reasonable prices.My most recent issue involved some work done by another shop that needed to be redone and fixed correctly. The original shop could not complete the job and Alex and Michael at Midas took the time to research the issue and correct the mechanical clutch problem. Im very happy to get my car back fixed correctly!Alex is the owner and is very knowledgeable. He is a good business person and will go the extra mile to help you.I highly recommend Midas in Lexington Park and plan to bring my other vehicles there for service when they need it.

I brought my car to Midas to have a MD state inspection. I had bought my 2006 Audi the Saturday before in Phil, Pa. On my way back I ran through a Hail storm which make two chips on my windshield. I had it fixed at Royal glass right beside Midas. Anyway Midas failed me because of my windshield so I had to take it to the state police and they said Midas had to pass my car because it was illegal. Also the person at Midas that sat in my seat made a hole in the leather. You can imagine I was very upset. I have been waiting for over a week for their insurance company to contact me. I am going to give it a couple more days before I go to the courthouse. I have never had anything like this happen before so I dont know how long it will take for some to look at my car. I will tell everyone I know to stay way from Midas. They do bad business and while I was waiting for the police to come to fill out a report for my seat I heard a lot more people complaining about this shop.

I am so glad I started bringing my car to Midas for any issues with my car because they always fix it up at a good price and make sure to keep me updated with the process.
