I asked for “chocolate glazed” she gave me regular glazed, so I went back inside and asked for the correct ones. With an attitude, she said “next time just asked for chocolate because when you say chocolate glazed we automatically think glazed”. That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard….! I clearly said “CHOCOLATE”… it’s always something with this location that they never get the orders right and always have bad attitudes.

The service was fast and the employees friendly, but the donuts were great! They had a great variety and werent too expensive. The breakfast burrito was very good also. I will definitely be back

They have very good maple bacon donuts!! opens at 5am, and the coffee is very donut shoppe-y, the service is pleasant, the store itself is very clean and the staff are still wearing masks and gloves. excellent.

WOW!!!! The Fritters and Cinnamon rolls are huge. Very clean store and friendly staff. Many customers coming in but still very quick. Wish they had the Chapel Hill sausage for kolaches but thats ok.

If we get doughnuts or kolaches, this is our go to place. Food and staff are always top notch.

Went and asked for a maple bar which was good. I also ordered an iced coffee extra cream extra sugar. The man who attended me was not helpful at all. I got a cup of hot coffee with 3 puexes of ice. When i told him thats not what I ordered he just stared at me. I will not be returning to this dump. 👎

Filling tasted like a silicone paste, like as if they forgot to add sugar to the mix. Rest of the donuts shared the same bitter taste to them despite their sugar coating. Donuts were nowhere near tasty. Will never return.

If i could give zero stars I would. I bought a few donuts and a few Kolache‘s yesterday and knew my total was WAY off. I calculated from their menu they charged me 5 dollars and some change more. The first red flag was the lady not wanting to give me my receipt! She grabbed one but it wasn’t mine and put it in the plastic bag it wasn’t till I got home I saw it wasn’t mine. If you want to lose some money Rise N Shine Donuts on slide will happily take it from you. My total should have been 13$ and some change. I was charged 19.32 guessing there were donuts added on to my receipt or charged me for large kolaches after I repeated small twice.

I’ve been going to several locations for years but mainly this location where the owners wife works. She is very kind as well as the other employees. They have the best donuts I’ve ever had. Also, their burritos are the best!!! Great service and consistent products across all locations!!! Keep up the good work team!

We went to get kolaches. The counter girl was completely unaware of your products. Every question was met with ‘what?’Then she didn’t give us everything we ordered AND ‘didn’t remember’ us when we came back. And then said she didn’t charge us for what we didn’t get. What did we pay $27 for?!?

I am going to be fair since I have been to this store on a few occasions. I always try to get someone who speaks English and understands English. The other day my son asked for a few mild tamales. We loved them. They were so good we went back today and asked for 2 dozen mild only. Of course my luck I get the nice gentleman that does not speak English well. He even confirmed with me did I want spicy or mild. After the third time I understood his question. I told him clearly that I wanted all mild only. I get home and I have 1 dozen mild and 1 dozen spicy. Okay, its just food I know Big deal right? But he confirmed that he understood that I wanted Mild only. So what happened? Did we only have 1 dozen mild and the rest were all spicy. For 10 bucks a dozen I think we knew what we were doing. I dont know. I just know what I wanted. So they are useless to any of us. Cannot stand to eat in pain. Just not my thing. I will just stick to your Doughnuts. They have always been good

Absolutely amazing made fresh burritos. My kids loved the donut holes with the icing drizzled on top. They have everything. Will definitely come back when we visit Lubbock again.

Our son has a terrible dairy allergy. We asked the cashier that served us on Saturday (3/30/18 at ~12:20PM, a heavier-set Hispanic woman) if the donuts had dairy and she said no. My wife reiterated, it can’t have whey or any combination of milk. She went back to the back and looked at the ingredients to confirm it and again said that they didn’t.Fast foreword to later, we noticed that our son was showing signs of the allergy taking the course and would likely need medical attention.We called ANOTHER Rise N Shine to ask again if the donuts had dairy and in very little time, the person who answered said, yes. There is non-fat milk listed on the ingredients.Needless to say, we are beyond disappointed with this location. They caused our son to have an outbreak.We will NEVER go to a Rise N Shine again. Even if it was simply the employee’s ignorance, it’s also the management’s fault for not telling the employees if their donuts contain the ingredients that people with food allergies are most commonly allergic to.

Hands down the best donuts and kolaches ever!!! You have to try the apple fritter, this is the only place I will eat them from.Youre in for a real treat if you get a fresh chocolate, glaze, fritter or kolache.Maybe Im being biased, but I cant help it, Ive tried a lot of different places and none compare.Ive been a long time customer because they just do it right.

These are way better than Krispy Kreme Hot Donuts. I would compare the hot glazed donuts at this location to hot glazed donuts you get at Shipleys. Since we dont have Shipleys in Lubbock, Rise N Shine wins my vote for best donuts in Lubbock. I have had great service here and you can also get Pedros Tamales here too!!! Highly Recommend
