Our experience of moving from Ohio to Minnesota was first rate. Jordan & Josh treated our belongings as if they were their own, cautiously and thoughtfully. I just got settled and I can say I am glad my husband chose Dearman to help with our move. I didnt want to hire out because I didnt think anyone would move my belongings with care and attention.I finished unpacking the last box today and was surprised to find no damages.I wasnt thrilled with the communication with office staff however I would pay more just to get the customer service I received from the movers, Austin and Jeremy.Both gentlemen worked quickly but with attention to even the smallest details. They were both professional and very friendly. They treated my belongings with respect as if it were their own.I would 9/10 recommend them to others.

Movers Mitch and Lane were very polite and professional, packed my furniture neatly even though it was only a cross town move. I didnt have an elevator in my new second floor apartment but they handled the stairs just fine. Very nice to work with!

I wish more than anything I could write two different reviews, one for the crew (who deserve 6 stars for how phenomenal they were) and one for the office staff (who deserve 1 star).We moved twice with Dearman, both cross country moves. The teams who packed and loaded and unloaded our trucks were incredible, true hulk like humans, who became our friends - we even asked for the same team lead on our second move and were delighted to see him again! No complaints whatsoever.The office staff however were infuriating. The right size truck was not sent for our second cross country move due to the oversights of office staff and a poor phone consultation regarding the items within our home. The crew had to play the biggest game of Tetris to get the truck loaded and I commend them, BUT several items were damaged very badly. Once we arrived in our new home, we called and submitted the necessary paperwork and photos, being assured that we could just give a price for each item and we will make this work - we value you as repeat customers. Weeks went by. Emails and phone calls being responded to with getting there, next steps needed, and well get back to you, comments. We were then told that someone needed to come to our house and take more pictures. After that, it was still weeks before we heard back with their prices on what they would give us for the damages, coming no where near the value of the items. They claimed humidity damage was done to our 40 year old family handmade heirloom table and refused to cover any repairs. That assumption of humidity damage is absolutely absurd because an elliptical and many other items were stacked on top of our table (we visibly saw the truck). After more time and more phone calls, we finally gave up.They dont stand by their word. They didnt do what they said: just give us a price and well make it right. And they treated us like we ruined items on purpose. Our heirloom table is forever ruined and honestly we could not fight with Kaylynn anymore. We accepted their measly refund for the other items, not even coming close to replacing them, including bunk beds, a crib, and a trampoline.The crews are fantastic, but be warned, the office staff wont actually help with any damage or issues with the move if you have them.

So my husband, son and I moved from Phoenix, AZ to Mandfield. All movers from uhaul either cancelled or didnt respond. I did a Google search and Dearman was one of the 2 listed. They were so helpful from the beginning. We were able to unload most of the truck ourselves but the washer and dryer going into the basement and a huge dresser were too much for us. The movers put those in without any issues and offered to get the rest even though that is not what we scheduled. They even did a tricky move of a table my husband said could not go upstairs for my office. They are great, they go above and beyond even for a last minute move.

I can’t say Anything negative about this move so far! My furniture arrives from over 300 miles away in two days. I expect everything to go as smoothly here as it did in north central Ohio!! Koodos to Dearman’s from the phone on out!

Dearman did a great job for me. I had them both pack and ship my things and they did an awesome job. On moving day the crew was very professional and treated my things with respect. They were personable and worked very hard. Kyle, Baron, and Cameron were awesome. I do not remember the two gentlemens name who helped me pack. (I believe one was Jordan, but both did excellent) Overall a positive experience!

What a pleasure it was to do business with this company. They made my move about as stress-free as possible. Everyone who works there was super helpful. Scott Chase came out to my house to estimate the cost and answer initial questions. He was very upfront about expenses and the made me fee I could trust this company. By that I mean he said they werent the cheapest company but explained what to be wary of and why they charge a little more (and it was only a little so dont be put off). Jessica and Nichole were the move coordinators and super helpful. Nichole walked me through every step of the process and whenever I had a question or concern she was right on it and very fast to respond. I had the packing service too and it was outstanding. I think I really put the packers to the test too as I had a lot to move. I moved across country so I can tell you everything was beautifully packed and there was no damage to anything. They set me up with a United driver (who was excellent). Overall I was just enormously impressed.

When they got to my house, the road crew was working on the road I’m front of my house. Despite snow on the second day of loading, they kept to the schedule so that we could leave Mansfield at a reasonable time. I would recommend Dearman to anyone.

We were very pleased with the administration side of our moving experience. The admin staff were helpful, polite, and very informative. We were shocked on the day of the moving when the crew showed up. Jeno & Marias crew did not communicate with us and acted like bulls in a china shop. They handled our belongings like trash and when we began unpacking we found many of our things in disarray. If we had known the moving experience would be this way, we would have packed drastically different. There was a huge lack of professionalism from the movers and a lack of responsibility taken for the things they damaged in our apartment building. The moving crew was more focused on getting the job done as quickly as they could with little to no emphasis on quality. Chris, the owner, did follow up with me apologizing for our experience. We paid a lot of money for which we thought we be a 5 star experience, ending up with having a not so great experience and landing with 2 stars. Highly disappointed.

In preparation for my move from Bonita Springs FL to Lexington OH I reached out to Dearman in Mansfield. Bethany contacted me quickly & was very efficient using a virtual survey app to determine my needs. She was quite professional & friendly. I needed her advice a couple of times prior to my moving date - always a prompt reply. Dearman utilized a United Van Lines affiliate (Peluso) in Naples to handle the loading of my furniture - also a 5-star company. On time delivery was provided by Dave & Robert. They were awesome, too. Friendly, efficient & very careful with my possessions.I can’t imagine a better experience than what I’ve experienced with Dearman! They handled my somewhat complicated move with such ease! Great communication, as well as very friendly and efficient loaders. Price was very reasonable compared to local companies. Took about two weeks for my stuff to arrive (I was moving across the country) but everything came in tact and on the scheduled date. Would definitely recommend.

I called Dearman about moving a couple of giant boxes from where they were unloaded under my carport up to my third floor apartment. In under 20 minutes two guys were bringing the first box up the steps. It took them under 10 minutes and both boxes were on my kitchen floor. We hadnt moved in many years and we were moving to another town across state. It was a big life change for us, so, I greatly appreciated all the help we received from all the people at Dearman, everyone from the person who came out to give us an estimate and information on the move, to the people at the office who co-ordinated the move, answered questions, and kept us apprised of the move, to the people who physically moved our home kindly and carefully. Overall, I was pleased with my moving experience. The young men were professional and respectful of my household goods. I noticed only a couple of items scratched or broken. These items are not worth filing a claim ( wooden clothing rack) I have experienced numerous moves in the past ( USAF) so I am very realistic regarding the process. I was pleased with the staff keeping me updated on the move and what to expect. The shock involved the actual price of the move. I would recommend this company for future moves.

We purchased furniture from Furniture Row, but they weren’t able to deliver in a timely manner so they hired Dearman Moving & Storage.Cody and Gage were our moving guys. Made my move easy and so much less stressful! Quickly answered all of my questions and was very flexible during the entire moving process.

The two gentlemen that arrived exactly on time did a great job of moving my home. They took extra precautions to protect my furnishings and doors, walls, etc. Both worked hard and went above and beyond my expectations.

The movers who came to our house to crate a few of my items were an elderly man and woman. They had to move a very heavy granite table top to the garage for crating. When they did, I heard a sickening scraping sound. When I was able to look, the table top was sealed in a crate and my house was undamaged, leading me to believe my table top was damaged by them. The remainder of our items were stacked in a moving van. We were not told how many times our things were handled before they were thrown haphazardly into shipping crates. We were told we would receive our things in one or two weeks. After three weeks we were told our things were in a warehouse a few minutes from our condo, where they sat for a week before being delivered, except for our table top. Many of our things were damaged from being thrown around like junk. We reported the late delivery, damage and missing table top immediately. A week later we called about our missing table top and were told we never reported it. A week later we called for an update on our table top and were told they weren’t shipping to our area for at least two months. They were very efficient in collecting payment in full for their incompetence though. A month and a half after our move we are still in limbo for the foreseeable future.

Cody and Billy from Dearman helped me move my one bedroom apartment contents from Mansfield to Columbus yesterday. We had a great team of movers!!! Colton, Terrance, Nate and Billy. They were all polite, professional, kept working while I had to decide where to place something in our new home. Just wanted to do a quick review. We are a military family and have moved multiple times over the years. My movers today were James K., Cameron P., Kadin H. and Logan C. They have been the best group of people I have dealt with when it comes to moving. Very courteous and professional! I would recommend Dearman to anyone that wants to know that your stuff will be taken care of!

I had 2 young men come to my home to pack my kitchen, library & master bedroom closets. They did a nice job packing; however when it came time to move the packed boxes to the garage they didn’t have a dolly on their truck as this piece of equipment (I was told) was removed off their truck for another job the company had. Thus, the boxes these kid’s couldn’t lift where pushed/scooted across my santos mahogany floors which left scratches one of which was substantially deep. Upon a final walk through with the new homeowners, I was placed in a position to repair the scratches to the tune of $7,278.00 as all of the floors had to be sanded and re-stained, not just the kitchen, library, hallways & foyer area (where the deep scratch occurred) so the floors all matched. Make certain you require these untrained kids to place tarps down if they ever work in high dollar homes.

I have the highest regard for, and strongly endorse, Dearman Moving & Storage company:Beginning with Jennifer as the estimator, coordination and follow-up with Bonnie and Rhonda, and ending with the out-of-state delivery and unloading, this was a tremendous operation that demonstrated seamless teamwork. Always available to answer my (many) questions, the front office was great. Then when it came time for packing/loading, the crew lead by J, was professional, considerate, informative (call out to Jason) and hard working. It was amazing to see the huge 3-D puzzle cleverly fit and secured onto one truck.
