Austin was very helpful. We had a phone that hadn’t been able to charge for nearly 2 months. About 10 minutes of his handy work and it was all fixed up. This is why we love device pit stop!!
I had an issue with a Sony Vaio laptop that had not been used for a couple of years. Windows would not start and after trying all of the suggestions online, I decided to take it to the professionals. I did need data from this laptop so they were able to install a new OS and save my files. They provided great communication and updates and the price was reasonable. The laptop was fixed in a very timely manner and works great. Thank you.
Brock was super helpful today in fixing my daughter’s phone! The end of a charger broke off in the phone and he was able to fix it incredibly quick. He was also very knowledgeable and helpful in helping me plan next steps on a refurbished computer purchase. I would highly recommend.

My phone had charging issues. I tried cleaning the device port with plastic toothpicks and brushes multiple times myself - that did not help. I went at Device Pitstop and suggested to them I might need a charging port replacement. The guy at the desk took the phone in the service room and cleaned the port again - in 5 minutes I had the device charging like new. All was done free of charge!

I dont know how these guys are getting good reviews? I bought a refurbished Mac Book Pro for $500. I had to go back with a bad battery after a couple weeks only to find out it was replaced with a used one. I went in under warranty because it ran slow twice only to have them say it was my wi-fi service. After the warranty was up I brought it in again for the same slow operation problem but now, they said I need to pay for a new hard drive. Scammers! Didnt even last a year
I drive out from Minneapolis to Maple Groveto get my phone fixed by these folks. Great work, dependable and friendly. I’m not a tech head and they explain things clearly and concisely. Will be back.

My charging port on my phone was very dirty. They weren’t able to make it perfect but it is way better than what it was and they let me know what I would need to make it better but their work is more than enough for me as of right now.

My daughters screen on her iPad got cracked.Apple repair price looks like 440+$ I decided to give a try and brought it to Device Pitstop.Well, tablet works, service was very quick, but the quality of the screen is not the same as an original screen. You could see some weird vertical lines through all screen. If I knew the outcome I would add an extra 100$ and bought new tablet(as the price for new one is 319$)For 200$ screen repair is just not good enough for me. I wish I was told about it before the service was provided.
Had iPhone 8 lock and try everything possible. Nothing I tried worked. Brought it here and literally within 5 minutes, boom unlock. I am so happy and excited. Best service, excellent response time, and overall 10/10!!!

They failed to test my phone at all after they completed the repair. They said they were unable to test anything since I did not give them a passcode to get into the phone. However, they wouldnt have needed a passcode to LOOK at their work, where they obviously had failed to properly seat the fingerprint sensor (it wasnt flush with the phone and wobbled when touched). The un-seated sensor led to the sensor working intermittently. What should have taken 2 hours took over 6.Go somewhere else.

Brought my phone in twice. The first time I said I never exposed my phone to water and their “techs” didn’t find any water damage, so they gave me a warranty. One week later, having never exposed my phone to water since the first time said my phone had been exposed to water. Their “techs” then said they “found signs of water damage,” and didn’t give me a warranty.They don’t actually look for water damage because they have no idea what they’re talking about

I am so happy to find Device Pitstop. Very nice looking store with a good team of technicians. My iPhone speaker and mic wasn’t working the way I’d like and they cleaned it for me for free. Not many places to have a free fix these days. I will definitely come back .

About a month ago my 2015 MacBook Air’s trackpad malfunctioned; tapping the pad worked but I couldn’t depress it.I found a few places that could potentially repair it. Though I don’t want to give their name, there was a store I contacted that clearly would have had specialized experience with Macs to see if it could be repaired.The tech I spoke to was exceptionally confident that my device could not be repaired, that they’d seen this problem “a thousand times”. They went on to compare the situation to a car having a common problem, with a mechanic who’d seen the problem over and over again.Then I brought my computer to Device Pitstop. They’d said over the phone that there may have been a screw that had been knocked out of place.It turned out that they were right. About fifteen minutes after I got there, I walked out with a fully functional trackpad, FREE of charge!I went from thinking I’d need to drop about $1,300 for a new, comparable MacBook Air, to a like-new device for free.I am SO appreciative; thank you!
I had a wonderful experience with Device Pitstop. Brock and TJ were both extremely helpful and patient. I Brought my daughters laptop in to install some additional RAM. The product I brought from another store wasnt working with her laptop. Brock and TJ took the time to install, reinstall and run some trial and errors to see what the issue was. They were very patient with us as we had them test out different options we had. Through our conversation, TJ ended up providing us with a better solution to our problem that we hadnt even been aware of. I highly recommend Device Pitstop and will definitely use Device Pitstop for all my future repairs/services.

Had some issues with my tablet, laptop and smartphone. The technician listened well to my problems and identified solutions for all 3 devices. I did buy a new power plug for $10, but I much more value than that for 30 minutes of technical consulting.
I had to bring my old phone in earlier today to try to get it fixed after it had been crushed and had some water damage. TJ was the one who tried to fix it for me. Unfortunately, we found that it was damaged beyond repair and I decided to get a new phone right away. TJ and another staff member (I don’t remember their name) helped me pick one out for a pretty good deal. TJ even stayed an hour after close to update my new phone and transfer all of the data. I really appreciated how accommodating and professional everyone was. Definitely my go-to for tech shopping and service.

I visited the store with a problem that I felt was not unusual, but for me and the elderly gentlemen I was helping, was a challenge. We needed to transfer data from one phone to another and hook up to service on Track Phone. I had been to uBreakiFix on Main Street in Maple Grove and got no help whatsoever - in fact signing up for a monthly service plan was the ONLY thing I could have done to get any help. Really? For a simple one time problem. Device Pitstop immediately took the phones, charged them up and had them ready to go in the time it took me to run a few errands. And - they charged me nothing! I feel Device Pitstop knows the importance of great customer service and understood how much this meant to a couple old folks!

TJ was surely walking on water when he came to work last week. In a few short minutes he had removed a malware infection on my wifes phone that had been upsetting her for weeks. He was willing and, thanks to his boss who gave him permission, able to replace the batteries in our phones, when we had had several businesses flatly refuse to even try to open the cases. Its like having two new phones! He saved us hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars by extending the life of our phones. We are very, very pleased. This is just the latest example of incredible service we have received from this shop. We happily recommend them to anyone!

I have used Device Pitstop in the past but this time around, they went above what I expected of them. I brought my desktop in because it wouldnt turn on around Dec. It took me until end of Feb. to bring it in. It had Windows 7 which, they said, could be the problem. They offered to install Windows 10 for $100 (they waived the $50 diagnostic charge). I said go ahead. Couple days later it was ready to be picked up. In bringing it home, it was the next day I hooked it back up and turned it on to start working from it again. It was that each day I would turn it on, it took a few times to actually turn on because it would crash. Then, it just would crash all of the time. I brought it back it told them the issue. A few days passed and I was called and said I could pick it up and that they couldnt find any issue with it. They had been turning it off and on through out the time it was their w/ no issue. When I went in, the tech who waited on me asked me if I would like him to hook it up to his monitor so I could see that it was working fine. So he did, and thankfully, it was at that time my computer wouldnt turn on and crash all of the time for them. He then offered for them to transfer my hard drive and such into a another hardware desktop they had sitting there (better then what I had). I asked how much and he said $50. So I sat and waited and within 15 minutes or so, it was done. They rang me up and they didnt charge me at all for the new hardware. I mean, I was floored. I am so thankful that this is a company that doesnt try and shaft their customers like others at big box companies do. They value their customers because they know that you treat them right, they will come back and word of mouth is the best advertisement there is. Yep, they have a customer for life with me and my business. Thank you, Device Pitstop for being a company worth bragging about to others.

I called the store before coming in and had the pleasure of speaking to Mitch who was super helpful. I recently obtained an old family camcorder with a jammed taped in it, and I wasn’t sure where to bring it to get it out and hopefully salvage the tape. Mitch said they do not normally provide this service but that they could try and help me out. Sure enough, I brought in the camcorder and he rescued and saved the tape!I also brought in two old laptops to have the data transferred to an external hard-drive and to have the computers wiped clean and recycled. Really easy and flawless experience — Mitch made it all enjoyable and simple. Will definitely (and already have!!) recommend to family/friends.

My daughter broke the charging cable off inside her IPad. With no idea what to do or how to fix it, I called Device Pitstop. They told me to bring it in and they would take a look. I brought it in fearing I’d need to replace the entire charging port. The technician took the iPad grabbed some tools and with a little bit of effort was able to dig the broken part out. When I asked him how much? He said no charge. Thanks Device Pitstop! They easily fixed what could have been a very expensive lesson for my daughter.
Both of my daughters iPads had been locked up for months. Admittedly I’m not a tech savvy guy but I tried rebooting them from our Mac. Their uncle that is a tech guy tried to walk me through it. Any way 10 minutes after bringing them in they were both up and running. My girls are very excited about having them back. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you!!

These guys are great. I called about a screen issue on my Apple Watch which a lot of places don’t deal with. They told me to bring it in and they would see what they could do. I came in hoping to fix my phone, but it was toast. I took a whole bunch of TJs time on a busy day with a whole hurdle of issues. He multi-tasked very well and went above and beyond to be helpful.
