Ordered a cell phone last Friday. They said it takes two business days to ship. Im a week into my order and still no cell phone. I called them and they said there was a delay (didnt give me the reason), that the phone was still at the warehouse (in another state) and they are not sure when it will ship or be in (really?). They could have called me to tell me this. Instead, me, the customer, had to follow up. What kind of service is that? Terrible service. They will not get future business from me.
Went in to upgrade my phone last night. Had a galaxy s10 and thought of switching to an iPhone. Asked the guy if there were any promotions for trading in my galaxy for the iPhone and he said with certainty that we would get a 440$ discount. I paid off what was left on my galaxy, and paid around $170 for the initial iPhone payment. He said we’d have 14 days to trade in the galaxy. I brought it home last night just to switch all my photos, contacts etc., to my new iPhone. I brought my galaxy and receipt back in this morning and the lady working pretty much had no idea what was going on. She said all their internet was down (which is understandable), but she took the galaxy for the trade in after I wiped the phone data and said she would put it in the system was back up and running. We wanted to make sure she knew we had the promotion discount the guy gave us the night prior and she honestly just kind of blew it off and acted like she had no idea what was going on, even with receipt. Called them this afternoon to get more info on it and they proceeded to tell us that we only can get a 200$ discount and not the 400$ one. Literally like talking to a brick wall. I like Verizon, but I don’t know what kind of circus you guys got going on. They have no urgency to follow up with customers at this location and I don’t know how you can run a business without going to every extent to communicate with customers. This needs to be addressed.
We worked Colleen, she was the best! She made everything so easy and took such good care of us. Explained everything very well and is so personable. We will be going to see her with anything we need!
My wife and I stopped in last week to get a new cell phone for me. She has an iPhone on a Verizon plan and we wanted to add my new phone to that plan. Colleen took great care of us. My old phone was not even a smart phone so I was not much help and frankly my attitude was not all that good but Colleen was very understanding: she found my Boost account number so that I could keep my same phone number and got us all set up.
Went in to this store to get some help with an account issue she helped me get it fixed and also helped me with Verizon customer service! She was super awesome and friendly thank you I am very grateful!!Thank you

I was simply trying to return an iPhone with a terrible software issue. Jacob called Verizon and was told to call several other departments before finally getting the right person on the phone to do a trouble free replacement. He was very professional and polite....even when he shouldn’t have been in my opinion. I’ll be buying my iPhone 11 Pro Max 500gb from him next month. Nice work sir.

After I accidentally deleted all my contacts, I went to the Verizon store on dunkirk lane where I met Kailey J.After she went thru the usual methods and found only 10% of my contacts, then she got really determined and dug in and was able to restore 100% !What great commitment to customer service and dedication to Verizon.
Disappointed, that they dont have really good deals for existing customers. The really good deals only exist for new customers. One day you will be existing customer.

Got a Black Friday Deal here. Lots of talk. Made it sound great. Lots of fine print and hidden fees. In the end not a good deal at all. Between this place and Verizon themselves, they will try to ring you out for everything you got.
Buyer beware!!!Employees are nice and friendly but don’t have any job knowledge. They just wanna sell you phone and accessories that you can buy else where for half the price. Also they don’t tell you everything up front until you get your first bill.
I always have a great experience when coming here. Colleen is always extremely helpful, and she always takes extra time to work with me. I’d recommend anyone needing a new phone to stop in here!

Kailey made the frustrating job of buying and setting up a new phone for my teenage daughter a wonderful event. She patiently walked me through setting up the Cell Helmet warranty, our Apple ID account, restored our old phone, and set up the new iPhone with a smile. Whomever is in charge of promotions and raises should happily give her both. She is the reason why I will be back to buy my new Smartwatch next month!
My experience in dealing with the Dunkirk Maple Grove Verizon store or its owner as follows:I own a Blackberry Classic & Brent Peterson (the owner) was above board in helping me transfer one failed Blackberry to a new one. Yes, these Blackberries are seldom seen and Brent was most patient and could teach customer service in the U of M. He was helping me as others entered the store - he greeted them and continued to help me - but never forgetting whom was first (me), & them second etc... It is very rare to see these days that level of professional service - thank you Brent.
Loved our experience! This is our second time back in and both times working with Jeff. He is amazing and super friendly. He knows his stuff and always tries to give you the best deal. I highly recommended working with him and visiting this store if you need anything done with your phone :) five stars for sure!!!

Best customer service I’ve had in recent memory. Kailey knew her products, promotions and made it painless to get me a new phone. A joy to work with a real professional and she made it fun.
Came in to activate my phone but the associate there kept saying she couldnt do it because the phone wasnt a Verizon phone even though it was unlocked. So I brought it to another Verizon store and they were able to do it with no problems.Have been here several times and they do not give you all the information about your plan or contract. Although they were friendly, they werent knowledgeable. Also I cant believe they charge $20 just to transfer data from one phone to another. Definitely wont be coming back to this location.
When our contract was up and we needed new phones we went straight back to see Jeff at Verizon off 93rd st because of the amazing service we received 2 years ago. This visit was no different and Jeff helped us to get everything we needed and then some :) Jeff is kind and courteous and a true professional, thank you Jeff for a great experience!

#verizonlies. Please be wary of promotions and promises made at this store. You will receive nothing in writing at the store and no documentation electronically. They will promise you multiple things, but not deliver and then, when you seek help in person or via the *611 customer service, you will be promised resolutions which are never fulfilled. My experience has been as follows: Entered Verizon store (9420 Dunkirk Ln N, Maple Grove, MN 55311) on 9/27/19 and worked with store manager, Colleen Johnson. During our exchange we were promised if we purchased 1 iPhone XR, we would get a second phone free. Because of promised savings, we also agreed to purchase 2 new iPads. Unfortunately, we received nothing in writing. 10/7/19 Paid down payment for 2 iPads and purchased an iPhone XR. 10/21/19 Realized Verizon bill contained a $25 device fee for the 2nd phone purchased on 10/7. We were lead to believe that this phone would be free (buy one/get one). Called *611 and spoke w/ Kershonna at Verizon customer service and was promised that we could return the two iPads because she could not find the bogo promotion. Tried to return the iPads to the store that day and the manager, Colleen Johnson, refused to take them because they were outside of the 14-day time limit for returns. 10/24/19 Kershonna from Verizon customer service called ME to see if the issue had been rectified. I explained to her that the store refused to take them. Kershonna told me we could still return them and requested a return kit be mailed to my home. 11/1/19 Return kit arrived but did not have a return label or address. 11/2/19 made 2nd request for a return kit. 11/9, second return kit arrived and AGAIN, did NOT have a return label or address. Entered the store on 11/11/19 and requested a 3rd time to return the iPads as promised. They were not accepted. I was promised that the VP, Jamee Gifford, or District Manager, Angel Densford, would get back to me. They have not contacted me - Today is Wednesday, 11/13/19. The Verizon store on Dunkirk Lane N refuses to receive the Ipads and give a refund despite Verizon *611 customer service promising me multiple times that we can have a refund even though we are outside the 14-day return limit. It is clear that Verizon customer service will say anything to appease you in the moment but have no real authority to resolve your problem. It is also clear that all the store/franchisee has to do is delay and delay and delay since they have your money and Verizon Corporate refuses to do anything. It has been said that Verizon has the best customer service but that is ONLY true IF they actually resolve issues as promised - which they do not. So do yourself a favor and avoid doing business here.

A few days ago I accidentally deleted all my pictures. I was in my files and I didnt have my backup turned on. I thought forsure I would not be able to retrieve them. All my memories gone. My sons college graduation and Wedding pictures. So many memories gone. I went in to verizon and talked to Kailey. She worked on my phone for over an hour. She wasnt sure I could get them back and was told by coworkers it was probably a loss cause. Thanks to her determination and her I wont talk no for an answer, she recovered every picture and ones I deleted years ago. Thankyou Kailey for restoring my pictures and my memories, you are amazing. 😍😍😍
ZERO STARS!!Lied to three (maybe four) times.Salesperson: August H.Lie #1: Ordered phone on Tue Oct 22. Said phone be in by Thurs Oct 24 or Fri Oct 25. Will be notified by phone & text. I called Oct 28. Phone arrived on Sat Oct 26. NO PHONE CALL or TEXT. Found out from Colleen on Nov 16, there are no deliveries on Saturdays.Lie #2: On Oct 29, was told by August H that I COULD NOT pay off my phone completely the day I picked it up. He said I would have to wait 14 days to pay off the phone in full. Called Tech Support (over 4 hrs) on Dec 2 for an replacement phone. They told me YOU CAN PAY OFF THE PHONE the day you pick it up. NO WAITING PERIOD.Lie #3: Came back to store on Nov 16. Want to return recent purchased phone due to problems with phone. August H not there. Talked to Colleen. She said I couldnt return phone since it was past the 14 return policy. Something August H didnt mention to me. August & I discussed 14 day period to pay phone in full.Lie #4 (??): On Dec 2, called Tech Support with the number Colleen wrote down. Was on the phone for 4 hours (5 to 9 CST). 3 1/2 hrs on hold. This was another story. Was told by Tech Support that the Upgrade fee was charged to my account. Was told (not quite positive) by August H that my upgrade fee ($40.00) was waived.Update: Went back on Saturday, Dec 6. Needed to get my refurbished phone working. Only Colleen in shop. Was helping a customer. Told me there was somebody before me. Not in store. Said I will wait. A guy came in 25 minutes later. He sat down next to me. He asked me how was here. I said lousy. Colleen overheard conversation. Said I couldve helped you but you wanted to wait. Yes. Waiting my turn since Colleen said there was someone before me. The guy wanted to pay his bill. Colleen helped the guy & he left. Instead of separating customers, Colleen started to help me close to the other customer. Told her I want to pay off my phone. Tech support said I could pay it off. Colleen said shes not going to it. Stating it will neglect my monthly discount. I said it will not. Anyway, got tired of the BS from this store. Colleen didnt like my attitude. She handed both of my phones with my SMB chip. She and the other customer told me to get out. I called both a B...CH & left without a working phone. Went to the other Verizon store near Arbor Lakes shopping district. Got my phone working & switched over. Brought a new $300 toy while there.I got better service at the Verizon dealership in Plymouth, MN (4445 Nathan Ln) than here.YOU BEEN WARNED!!
They were fast and friendly. Went out of their way to accommodate me, after telling me on the phone they had an offer that turned out to be over already. Upon my arrival they honored it anyway, Thanks Guys!
Staff is always helpful and eager to please. There is also a Hobby Lobby next door so it is a win win for my husband and I. Drive 50 minutes just to use this Verizon location.

Two negative experiences at this store. Staff is rude and unfriendly. Phone was not setup properly first time, associate did not follow through to fix issue; resulted in hours of my time over the phone with Verizon to resolve the issue and left me without an operational mobile device for a day. Very cold demeanor during second in store visit. Unwilling to offer the caliber of customer service I would expect as a 10+ year customer.
I came in to this verizon today on a emergency basis needing a phone. Angela WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me. She was kind, compassionate to the situation and got me what I needed and on my way asap. What a blessing!
I visited the store 10/23/13 around 4:30 PM. I am new to iphones and needed help to figure out what I turned off or on my phone (found out later it was the do not disturb button). I explained the problem: calls going right to voicemail. The person at the store did not even look at my phone and told me its an Apple software problem and you need to take it to them. I took it to another Verizon Premium location only have them look at it and they diagnosed the problem and I was on my merry way. I do not ever intend to visit this store again as it appears they only are interested in making the sale, not servicing their products!

Went in just after christmas to purchase a new iPhone 5, and the man that helped me, Jason, was very helpful and really knew what he was talking about. Got all my contacts and what not transfered over and the phone activated with no problems at all. The whole atmosphere was calm and under control...which can be hard to find around the holidays! Needless to say, I will be going back to see these guys.
If it was possible to give this location 10 stars I would. I ended up wandering into this location while waiting to get new tires at Walmart. Right when I walked in Kailey was very welcoming and ready to help me. She took the time to write up a detailed layout of what my plan was currently and what the change in cost would be if I added a line. It was VERY easy to read and understand. She even gave props to her manager who was the one who actually created the sheets that help breakdown cost difference. She listened to me complain about the horrible service I was receiving at Wal-Mart and Im sure clearly saw my frustration. She was so beyond nice and helpful. She even pointed out that I receive a 22% discount on accessories from my employer discount that I wasnt even aware of, nor has anyone ever mentioned to me before over the years. She took the time to open my new stupidly hard to open phone case and even after she hurt her finger attempting to open it she put on a band aid like a champ and came right back to finish opening it for me haha Seriously...Im not sure if Ive ever received customer service like this and quite frankly due to my upset from dealing with horrible customer service at Wal-Mart, it was greatly appreciated. This location is definitely NOT the closest location to my home, but will be the ONLY location I will be going to from now on.

Went in to activate and transfer service to a new phone, a fairly simple task. The employee (who never introduced himself) initially helped, then walked across the store without warning to take a call. After coming back, he transfered the contacts from the old phone and activated the new one, while badgering myself into buying a case, saying it was basically mandatory for my phone (iPhone 5). I told him I would get one another time, and he continued to tell me I should right now. Seemingly quickly, everything was done and I left, only to find out that not only was my new phone NOT activated, the old one was STILL activated. Unbelievable, he didnt even check his work before sending me on my way.Bottom line: if you want decent service, or to be treated like a customer who matters to the employees, avoid this place like the plague. They can be certain I will not be returning soon.Update 4 years later: went in today to get help transferring my number off of Verizon. First employee who helped me was in street clothes and appeared very unprofessional. As I received help from the first, another employee (who seemingly had no idea how to correctly wear a tie) approached and began to upsell the remaining lines on the account. After telling him I was not interested, he asked why I was leaving Verizon then immediately started talking down my new service (GoogleFi), saying it took someone he knew 11 days to transfer his number, despite my research never finding such a long transfer time. It seemed as though he was trying to push me away from the new service. I have once again made a huge mistake coming to this store. I cant wait to never deal with Verizon-associated stores like this again.
