Had to download an app for my part - time job. When I tried to do this my phone wouldnt take my pin. I was locked out - without a phone. I walked in the gentlemen at the front of the store with an iPad asked what he could help me with. I informed him what was going on. At first he just said get back on with your google account. I then informed him I forgotten my password. He just looked at me and said well I cant do much for you take it to a samsung booth. He then just walked away. After he said about google I messed around with my phone and finally got it figured out myself. It took me a whole ten minutes. I will not be going back to this location.
Dont go here now if you need help. Just call Verizon. Your experience will be much better. I went there today (6/15/21) to activate my new phone and it was a 90 minute wait. I figured it out while waiting, fully activated my phone myself and left! #needmoreemployees
Trying to call to make an appointment because we had good service at this location, pre-pandemic. There is no menu option to speak to someone in the actual store, and no option to make an appointment. We already have an account, but need special service to help a senior buy, set-up and learn basic use of their first smart phone. Now what?
Came here to get my son his first phone. Absolutely the worst experience. Was 100% rushed in and out like we didnt matter at all. Didnt get to hold a phone or go over plans. The manger came over to us and basically forced us to choose one the iphones through the Verizon app that he made me download in the store. He told us it would be free two day shipping. Got home and looked at the order confirmation in my email and the Red iphone SE is backordered until mid September! The manager just wanted us in and out. My son is extremely disappointed. We will never go back here and I would advise everyone to stay away if they actually need help. After looking at Best Buys prices, they are much lower than the Verizon Store so I wish I had just gone there or Costco.
What is the mater with these people? I bought a phone for my aunt, made an appointment for her to pick it up and have her current phone info transferred to the new device. They gave her the phone and said they did not have time to help her. Poor customer service. If it is not resolved today, I will return the phone and buy it from Target.
Destiny is amazing and so kind, I will be coming back for all my phone needs entirestaff was, helpful, efficient, and welcoming.
We have no samsung devices. Go to best buy. This is what the store told me. Honestly, best buy was great, much more polite and helpful than this store ever was. Ill never go back to this store.
Absolutely one of the worst experiences Ive ever had in nearly 35yrs of owning phones. Save yourself the trip, customer service is not a priority here.
Donna was super helpful, provided me with all the information to make an informed decision and provided me with all the resources to finish the job.
Went in to buy a new phone. My name was taken when I entered the store but nothing mentioned about having an appointment. After 6 people coming in after me and being helped I left and went to Best Buy. There I was treated like a customer and I made my purchase of a new phone in the matter of minutes.
Terrible customer service, rude staff, wasted so much time here and they have screwed up my account multiple times. I want to cancel my Verizon after my encounters here
Bad service, very unhelpful. Spent the whole time trying to up sell instead of hearing what we needed. Ended up getting a phone just to get out of there because the phone I had was erased upon arrival. Now I cant update or get any information on the new phone and it caused a whole problem with everything I needed to do most importantly work. Would literally rather spent 3 hours at the DMV then ever step foot in this verizon store again. Looking into switching to AT&T and even considering Virgin mobile after this fiasco.
Worst place visit ever and no one is taking to you once they put in laby u site for ever 😒
Hate the smarter than you attitudes when asking questions.
Had two appointments in two weeks. Neither were on time. Second appointment, 30 minutes past appointment time, the manager told us to order online if we don’t want to wait. When I suggested he offers feedback to corporate, he told us to.
Just went in a week ago for new phones and to update our plan and had the absolute best experience! Dom answered all our (many) questions, helped us get the best deal possible and and made the whole process a breeze for us. Even though this isn’t the closest store to home, I will make the extra drive to return here when needed!Tip: Make an appointment online!
Didn’t get to have an experience to share. Cancelled my appointment without notification because they decided to “close early.” We drove a combined 3 hours and were excited about a gift we planned to give. Disappointed.☹️
Very quick and effect staff very knowledgeable
Best cell phone company Hands down.
Got there and they said i had to have an appointment. no statement to that effect on the google maps note. wasted trip.
Kyle was very helpful. I came in expecting to leave with an upgraded phone because of a common defect with my iPhone 7. Since I have insurance, I was able to get a new one shipped to me for free rather than spending a lot of money on a newer model. It was refreshing as I’ve heard a lot of stories of associates trying to sell new phones rather than offering an alternative to save the customer some money.
Great, Donna was our sales representative and she was amazing.
No service 2.5 how wait hardly any one in the store. Why is it when ever we have business with them it is always that way.
Purchased phone for my mother
Good customer service
Really nasty and rude people here the GM was also rude and wasn’t helpful, was getting to the point where he was ignoring me. He kicked me out of the store without me even being rude just because I told him I didn’t like the way he was talking to me
This Verizon was incredible. No wait at all in the store and it looks pretty cool inside. The guy helping me was very nice and fixed my issue quickly. Im coming back to this one from now on!
Super helpful staff. And thorough
Im having charging issues with my Pixel 3 phone. They were very helpful with suggestions and advise. We are Verizon fans
I always receive top notch service here and my most recent trip was no exception. I wanted to switch out my daughters phone for an extra Galaxy 9 I had under a Sprint plan. While (due to Sprint) I wasnt able to do so, sales person Kyle was helpful and patient. In the end we purchased a new Verizon phone and he got us set up and on our way quickly. My daughter was frustrated and Kyle had the patience of a saint, answering our questions. Thank you for the great service!
Kyle helped my mom and me in the store to switch me off my sister’s plan onto my mom’s and he was super helpful, professional and quick! We’re very happy with his service and we’d go back to his store anytime!
I was not even greeted when I walked in. When I approached a staff member and let them know I was returning my iPhone, they asked which location I bought it at and informed me that, We cant do returns on phones bought at that location because its a flagship store. Nowhere in my receipt did it say I have to return the phone to the exact same store because its a flagship store. Ive looked through the web to find this policy stated, and its not cited anywhere on the Verizon website or the store I had bought it at. I do understand the store employees were very busy, but they hadnt even known which exact location I bought this at-only that it wasnt purchased at this store and they refused to process a refund for an iPhone I had purchased only 2 days ago. I rushed to come here after work because the other location I had bought it at was closed and they were very rude and didnt bother to see the receipt I had brought. Very frustrated with their customer service.
I always go to this store because of the excellent service. The sales assistants are always friendly and helpful. They take the time to answer all of my questions, and check my bill to see if Im ever eligible for discounts or a better deal.I truly appreciate working with the staff at this store because I always have a great experience there.
Wonderful people ❤ 💖 and service.
Great store. Very helpful!
Stopped in to have my tablet looked at. I was greeted right away. They found that the SIM card on my tablet was shot. They changed it out right away and then reset my tablet to original format so it would work again. While that was going on I inquired about new phones for the wife and me. Corey asked a few questions and then made a perfect recommendation for me. I just need to get back there and buy the new phones. They have exceptional customer service.
I had a difficult situation and the manager here, Rocky, was super helpful and accommodating. He saved me time and headache, especially after going to a smaller Verizon store and being told they couldnt help me and I should come here. This is my default Verizon store now.
We arrived early for our APPOINTMENT, only to wait for half an hour. And leave without service because we had OTHER things to do, thats why I made an APPOINTMENT!!! If you go here, dont really expect to be helped- in a timely manner. Last time I was at this establishment I had to threaten to take my business elsewhere before they offered me a plan that was comparable to what other cell phone service providers were offering. Is that what has to be done Verizon?
After a long wait finally got a rep to work with. I told him my wife and I needed new phones and I wanted an inexpensive one. He comes back with a 950 dollar phone. Would have been another 75 $ a month on my bill for 2 new phones. His attitude and demeanor really turned me off. Retired, fixed income, inexpensive phone all went over his head. Went to Medina verizon store and saw Kathty and got exactly what I asked for. Sorry I forgot the name of the guy at Maple Grove. All he did was bad mouth the affordable phones. We were so disgusted we went to target and looked into clear choice and other carriers. After 20 some years we decided to give another version dealer a chance. Glad we did. Stay away from this store
It was the best to get tech questions answered. Really nobody in there so got first class service! Ive been to other places to get answers but this has been the best if not busy & got the right person.
Quick service only complaint works be that store did not have the phone I wanted and told me they could mail me one. That was done but I have to be home to receive delivery. This is a pain since I have a job.
I have been a customer of this Verizon location since they opened and have always received great service whether there to purchase a new phone, replace my phone under warranty, or to have them help me with a problem. Sometimes on the weekend the expected wait time is longer than I want to wait so I just come back later, this is a very busy store. The sales people have always been willing to explain the best plans for my needs and get my phone set up so it has all of my info transferred to the new phone and is ready to use when I leave. The service people have always been very helpful and courteous/friendly to me too.
Just got off the phone with them and the conversation never get heated or even upset but she was just annoyed I called I could tell to ask if they had any pixel 3 screen protectors. Then at the end I said thank you very much for checking and she just hung up. Weird.
Its a Verizon store. Nice people. They were shocked when I bought a flip phone for my daughter.
I went in with a few questions. Fortunately, the guy checking people in was super nice and answered a few of my questions which prevented me from having to wait in line. I was very thankful for him. He didnt seem to know all the answers to my questions but he willingly made a couple trips to the back of the store to talk with some of his associates in an effort to best serve me.
Got there when they opened at 10 am. ONLY TOOK FEW MOMENTS .. GREAT GUYS.
Instant service unless swamped. It takes about a hr to walk out with new service switched from Sprint. (Finally). Flawless service in radar, data, messaging in west Twin Cities and less $ than 18 month old Sprint pricing for me. Been there to add three lines and every rep knows their $h!t.
AWESOME SERVICE!! The staff person at this Verizon spent 45 minutes with me, backing up everything from my old phone to the new one and showing me how to do various things on the phone. Very patient, kind, and helpful. He even packaged the old phone up for me to send back.
Went in to add a new line and purchase a new Iphone 11. Was pressured into buying an accessory and was told I would receive a $200 prepaid visa card for the purchase of the accessory. Turns out I was lied to and deceived because when I contacted Verizon customer service they had no knowledge or record of this promotion so now I am out $200 for an accessory that I didnt really need. I find this store and company to be deceptive and unethical, just so a sales rep could make his numbers better or get a commission check.
Pamela helped my uncle and I pick out a new phone. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and sweet. She is definitely manager/supervisor material.
Fast and efficient service. Had a return, expected to be there longer, but to my surprise there was someone who was readily available without passing me off or having me wait for someone else. It was a good experience!
Poor experience with staff; very unprofessional and seeking to post blame on customer. I was simply seeking their assistance in migration to a new phone; this should be their duty, but are poorly trained. Be advised that any break in Verizon migration of applications and associated data may fail to transfer everything if you begin the transfer in the store and continue elsewhere. After 3 visits to the store, I walked out shaking my head because of very unprofessional behavior: thestaff person says, I was just kidding and slaps me on my back. Stay away
I have been a loyal Verizon Customer for over 10 years with 10 lines. I came into this store on 7-4 and worked with Cory. Their system charged my credit card ~$30 and did not give me credit on my girlfriend bill. I paid with another card and they said my original card would be credited. I have been in there twice since and even the manager, Katrina, said they would submit it to be credited. Nothing has been done. Cory can only do so much when his Manager wont help him. I was told today that Rocky is the General Manager, but they cannot give me his information. What a monkey show. Verizon has been losing subscribers and I am starting to know why... I paid more for better service, this is bad service...
Went in to Verizon to get a screen protector put on my sons phone. It was very busy. We were told that there were 2 people ahead of us. So browsed around awhile. The store was extremely clean and lots of product to mess around with. We were approached by Cory. I told him what we needed. He took care of it immediately. Had a fun conversation with Cory the entire time. The only suggestion is put a heavy duty steal pole in the store. Cory and I think we have some moves.
Everyones positive attitude in the store, made for a pleasant experience switching over from AT&T to Verison. Dom was knowledgable and patient with all of my and my sisters questions and helped us get set up on the best plan for our business. Thanks Dom and Team!
Came in when it was not busy. Upgraded my phone instead of repairing the screen (near upgrade time anyways). The sales person asked what happened to my screen and would make remarks like, Would you like to get protection insurance so that points at my screen doesnt happen again?, Well if you choose not to then if you break your screen again it wont be covered. and If anything else happens to your phone then you will have to pay it yourself. The reason for my upgrade was unrelated to the service I requested. Dont use my cracked screen as leverage for sales.
Pam was awesome. She worked with us . Very knowledgale. Would request to work with her again.
Went into the store tonight and worked with Alex the manager and another associate. These guys are the real deal! I don’t often write reviews but these guys made a return that I thought was going to be difficult, completely painless we ended up swapping instead of returning! If your looking for a good Verizon store saffed with knowledgeable people go here. Thanks for the help Alex and crew we will definitively be back!!!!
Kinda weird sales people. Not sure I trust them for the best deals
I made a reservation, got there 15 minutes early and was expecting to have to wait 15-20 minutes. A guy walked up to me to check me in 10 minutes after I walked in and I told him I had an appointment and even showed him the confirmation text. He told me I must’ve made an appointment elsewhere. He told me about 20 minutes. I waited over 1.5 hours and when I finally got in he said I made a mistake because I see you reservation now. This Verizon is not worth your time. This is the second time this exact thing has happened to me at this location.
I have a company phone and needed a corporate Verizon. I worked with Chris and he was very helpful and got me taken care of quickly. I appreciated his help.
It seemed like they could use more staff. We talked to a young man, who was very helpful but waited quite a while to get some help.
Traded my old phone in for a Galaxy note 10 Kyle the sales representative was a wonderful person to work with met all my needs and expectations thank you once again
Ari of the Verizon was extremely helpful! He talked me through correcting 2 issues with my phone and advised me on plan options, work opportunities and fraud protection.
Save BIG by just being aware!Turns out that not all Verizon stores offer the same price as another Verizon stores, and comparing one Verizon store to another Verizon store (even in the same town) can save you tons! I received a quote from the Verizon off of Dunkirck and Co Rd 30 in Maple Grove for $35 per line unlimited for 4 lines, a $250 bonus to bring my own phone over, a $700 credit towards a 2nd phone of my choice for buying a Note 10 (so not really a BOGO, but close), and a 2nd iPhone 11 for free with the purchase of one iPhone 11(actual BOGO at or under $700.00).I then went to this Verizon location (in the Fountains area off Elm Creek and Hemlock) and the sales associate (Ben) told me $45.00 per line, no bonus to bring my own phone, no 2nd iPhone for free, and a Flip phone (seriously..lol) for my BOGO to buy a Note 10. When I questioned this, things turned a little less pleasant than I would have expected so I simply left the store. I havent decided if I am going to stay with Sprint or switch to Verizon, but either way, it is not going to be at this location. So do not be seduced by the bigger stores and do a little checking around, I promise you will thank me!BTW, if they respond below with an excuse please be advised that both quotes were in writing so there was no vulnerability to interpretation.I hope this review is helpful, and good luck in all your wireless endeavors!
Extremely poor customer experience. Sales person tried to help but Verizon sales system cancelled my Thanksgiving deal phone purchase after conflicting communication. Dont trust MyVerizon - it provides incorrect info and Verizon doesnt stand behind it. Will buy phones elsewhere and may change carriers - cant trust Verizon!
Terrible. They pretend to listen to a billing problem, promise it will be taken care of and I dont need to worry. Turns out he didnt listen to a word I said and I had to go back to a completely different store to resolve it. Never going to Maple Grove location again, too many bad experiences
I realize this is a mobile phone store; however, I would appreciate it if the store associates would quit watching NFL on their phones while assisting others and make eye contact. Im extremely disappointed by the experience today for the lack of knowledge of the product (GS4 and iPhone 5s) and the respect for the customer. I left the store and went to Best Buy for their impartial advice, customer service, lower prices and the ability to be professional at work. Sorry Verizon, but you are running a poor business.
20 years with Verizon and I’m out the second my 10 min old phone hits it’s contact. Hilarious to have a manager tell me it’s my fault that they sold me a white phone when I asked for silver on a device you can’t actually look at in their store and it’s not pictured on the box. And then am told “well you can put a black case on it”... When you are held to the word of the employees of the store and it’s not right and they won’t even bother to help you... horrible customer support... don’t bother shopping at this location. The manager Cornelius a is an absolute joke, “he has no ability” to help his customers he just wants to sling his $1000 phones all day...
The employees were extremely helpful and made switching back from Sprint painless as possible!
Great Manger Rocky Awesome guy. Very willing to help us out. Thanks for the outstanding service Rocky and Bernie.
Best service Ive had in a long time at this location
They were busy, so it took a few minutes to get helped. However when I was I received the best service Ive ever gotten from a phone providing company. Extremely nice and helpful staff, and extremely nice manager.
Dom vang was my representative I have never had such a great sales experience at a retail establishment nice job Verizon
Awful customer service. I explained like 5 different times to my rep my situation and what we were looking for. He was condescending and dismissive. Wish I knew his name. Tall skinny younger white man with brown hair and a douchy high pitched voice.
George was phenomenally helpful. Answered all my questions and took time to make sure I got what I needed before I left
Sean was a big help! I have major anxiety about getting a new phone but he took time to walk me through every step!
Always a great experience here! Awesome staff and all the coolest toys.
Not friendly or professional! Older Korean/Japanese guy (Wade, at less thats what it said on his tablet) tried to make me pay activation fee on a PREPAID PLAN. After saying no to the fee he became rude. The SIM card was free online & only cost $7 at Walmart.
Slow serviceConsistently
Still waiting to receive promotional Samsung money from purchase in November of 2017 and last week found out I was paying for total mobile protection through a Verizon affiliate - I have waited to review but with no success/response from either Samsung or Verizon, I gotta say, go elsewhere. In store experience was great in terms of service and responsiveness but once the sale is done, so is the service.
Excellent customer service. Very helpful. This is the reason I left my previous carrier and I couldnt be happier!
George was awesome. Answered every question . Hes really well informed.
My phone was on its last leg .It was Friday and I knew it was going to be crowded but I live by my phone and I had to do something. The staff there has always been helpful but with the amount of people waiting It was going to be a looong wait. The guy checking people in kept me updated and my salesperson Jake was the man He went over and beyond and got me a great deal and even helped transfer my info from the old raggity phone.I work in customer service and that is truly how you do it right there. I am loyal to the brand and I am loyal to the store keep it up Jake!
Fast, friendly service. Clean and organized with a good variety of products.
Overall I had a good experience at this store. But make sure to check the internet pricing before you head into the store. I did save $100 because the website listed a phone for $99 compared to their $199. The atmosphere was a little too casual between the associates but overall it was a good experience and they took care of me in a timely manner. I would go back.
Tried calling this store today and spent 25 minutes trying to speak with someone and it is impossible!! How does Verizon think good customer service is transferring you to offshore/national call centers or just not answering the phone. Well, they do!! I cant call my local store and talk to anyone. Unbelievable. And, going to the store sucks too, as you have to wait a long time to speak to anyone and it takes forever to get helped. Hello Sprint or T-Mobil next...
Nice salespeople but when they made a mistake the floor manager was rude. Be careful what offers they sell you - you may discover they expired and when you return to the store, the best theyll do to fix it is graciously waive the restocking fees. The general manager was equally useless. At the very least, dont go to their particular Verizon store.
Biruk greeted me immediately as I walked in. I ditched Sprint and he got me out there with a new phone in no time. Awesome service A++
Great staff friendly. They where great staff kept a eye on my son well I got my phone set up.
The best way to get a phone. Never step foot in a Verizon store again. Costco deals and service and return policy much better.
Didnt really help with our problem that happened because of an issue with their system.
Jason was great. Incredibly helpful, and efficient.
I really like my Verizon store! However, I do wonder why the wait times for service are longer than normal.
Quality personnel and very knowledgeable, willing to help with any questions or concerns.
Needed a new phone. Walked in, got waited on immediately and best of all - NO PRESSURE for an upsell! Alyssa was the rep and she is the best!
Went inside with my father after calling about whether or not they’d be able to replace a zagg screen protector. Over the phone, the man said that yes, they would replace it, and to come on over. Upon arriving, a young lady had begun to help us, however soon realized that no, Verizon does not carry the warranty to replace the product. Not only a waste of the customer’s time, but also was handled very poorly. The lady that had helped us did not apologize for the inconvenience but rather said it must have been a miscommunication and deemed it our mistake. Very poor customer service and could simply been better handled. Not only that, but the entire store was filled with an incredibly loud speaker, playing some modern rock/pop music which only added to the illusion of the unprofessional service from what seemed to be inexperienced staff.Hopefully they figure out the issue with their customer service and also a way to make it a simpler process to have a screen protector replaced that has a lifetime warranty and was bought at that location.
I always prefer going in person. Great staff here!
I went in to upgrade using a $100 trade in offer from their website. First the salesman offered me half of the trade in deal they were running. So I had to convince him that it said $100 with a picture I took of the deal online. Then He told me that ok, but that deal is only for financing phones. So I said ok Ill finance the phone I guess. Then they told me there was a $30 charge to purchase a phone (you know like how you have to pay someone just for the opportunity to pay them more). So I was fine with that. Then they decided Id have to buy a phone that costs much more to utilize the 100$ trade in even though there was nothing about that on the site. They weaseled out of the deal they were running and I believe tried to bait and switch. I just left with my old phone. Im now very skeptical of Verizons sketchy business practices and will be looking at other companies.
