I WILL NOT & I WILL NOT BE BACK IN THE STORE!! You businesses need to do better when it comes to quality and customer service! Yes, I highly irritated and sick of it!! Hell, I can just give money away at any time, but Im tired of throwing away money with these folks!
Well, my time at “My eye doctor or eye spectrum” has come to an end. This has been my doctor since 7 years old. Unfortunately, the nonchalant receptionist, Amber will be the reason of me not returning and also these new fees that they’ve came up with since being “My eye doctor”. I wasn’t told about a $60 evaluation fee. My mom or myself never had to pay that as long as I’ve been a customer here. It’s sad enough that glasses and contacts are expensive and to jack up prices because of greed is enough to go else where. I forgot the lady’s name who has been working with me since I was little. She’s no longer at that location, but she was always nice to my mom and I. She knows me by name and always makes sure I’m satisfied and taken care of. I will miss her!
It took close to 3 wks. for my glasses to return after being given a promise by date. I have a bifocal lenses which takes adjustment. I couldnt drive home with them because of the wavy motion. When I got home I noticed they were scratched, I was thinking because of them having to adjust the arms 4 different times, and then when I told them about it they said that the glasses werent that way when they gave them to me, they tried to make it my fault, which upset me greatly, do yourself a favor dont go to the eye spectrum, thank God I had bought insurance because if not they would have made me pay for their mistake. Totally disgusted
I usually visit the eye clinic in Cordova. However, I decided to do a walk in appointment at the last minute given its been a year since my children’s last eye exams. I walk into the place and it was so dry. Felt like I waked into a funeral home. The only thing was welcoming was the music playing inside. I was not greeted. Not once! I spoke and signed my name in on the sign in log. About 10 minutes later, I was handed a clip board and asked for my drivers license and insurance card. When I came back to give the receptionist at the counter the clip board back with the papers, she kept addressing the matter on the phone as if I wasn’t standing there. Which I totally understand, she can only help one customer at a time. But to completely not acknowledge me from even when I first come inside. It only would’ve taken a second for her to get the clip board but instead she kind of turned her head. Therefore I sat the clip board on the counter top. When she decided to get it, she slammed it down on the counter below. Also, my daughter attempted to make herself some of the self serve coffee in the waiting area. Upon mixing her coffee, she noticed there was not any sugar. She politely asked, do you all have any more sugar. One lady responded with an attitude, if you don’t see any then we don’t. Throw away the entire front desk. This is the beginning of the year and these people are very unpleasant and not friendly at all. If you don’t want to be at work go home!!! I will not come back here again. I will return to Cordova. The only reason they are getting the stars is because they took us at the last minute. I refuse to go any place my business isn’t welcomed.
