I made an appt for a wheel balance and rotation. The apt time didnt seem to matter to them, 4 hrs later I finally get my car back. Unfortunately someone either over tightened my lugs or crossthreaded them, two of my wheel hub studs sheared off not long after. Wouldnt go back here and Id appreciate my money back since I was stranded for 2 days and had to spend more money to fix the mistake.
Firestone, you just lost a valuable customer. Booked an appointment for oil change at 4:00pm and my car was taken in at 5:30pm. I didn’t get the point of booking an appointment. When asked to the front desk regarding how much time it was gonna take to address my car and got a very rude reply. Was using Firestone since a long time. Not anymore. Please try not to go to this place!!!!!
The team at this location is always super friendly and knowledgable. If you dont know too much about cars and you take your car into a shop, it can sometimes feel like you are being taken advantage of, but I never feel like that here. They are very trustworthy and are able to explain anything you might not understand. It feels like asking a friend for help.
I have always had good luck with this Firestone location, however, today I came in for a simple tire check...2.5 hours later (after the store is supposed to close) they start looking at my vehicle. Not once did the store attendant tell me it would be this long of a wait. I should have been given the option to wait or make an appointment for another day.
Would put a 0 star if possible, I went in for a flat tire and the clerk at the desk ignored me for 15 minutes. After trying to get his attention repeatedly the person behind me asked if I had been helped and when I said no, after he could hear our conversation he comes to the window and says What! What do you need? and I told him I had a flat tire, he said youre going to have to leave your car overnight! in a rude tone. The customer behind me and I walked straight out of that place. I will never be going back to this place for any auto needs and will not recommend it to anyone in need of auto repair.
I visited to get a tire repaired and it to me approximately 20 minutes to get registered for the job. I recommend making an appointment which I will do in the fire as they are busy. The staff was pleasant and they communicated the relevant information clearly for the job at hand.
First time Ive been to a Firestone and it felt like the old Wheel Works. Thank you for such wonderful service. Paul and Dustin were great.
Not a fan at all. I would never come here if it wasn’t the required place to bring my leased work truck. If you have the time this is your place. If you have something to do go somewhere else.
I went here today to for battery and oil change and they were able to get it done quickly. The receptionist assisted me was very patient and compassionate. He was very respectful to my culture and I feel really safe especially in this pandemic.
They are quick to SELL you tires but lousy at helping you for a flat.
3 times came with 2 appointments all failed without any promise to do better.I made appointment online and came but he said no AC work on weekend then no work I have go home and wait. Then another time he told to come in morning and drop the car off dont need appointment he will take care of me. Then I came back another day to drop off and the he said too many car cant work on it. Then Made appointment at desk to come in at 10 the next day. I dropped the car next day and 2 hours later he called back saying the boy that work on it has emergency have to go home and ask me to pick up with nothing done on it. Then I ask what can you promise if I bring back again. He said CANNOT promise 100% it will be done. So blank statement after all their missed appointments. And everytime coming I need to ask someone come to pick me up and drop off. What a reputable company with so many years of experience and still cannot be trusted with the most fundamental of business integrity practices.
My appointment was at 2pm Friday for just an oil change and tire rotation….my car was sitting at the same spot until 5.35pm and took them about an hour to finish! I have never had an oil change that takes almost 5 hours with appointment.
Just want all people to know about this place in case you need air they will help you with free service
Thank you for the good work along with your friendly + helpful front desk staff👍
They did a good job.
Store Manager Paul Herras great customer service and Tony service manager and Ismael auto technician. I highly recommend this store to the customer
Good customer service and they always on point. Really helpful 👌
This place is a joke. Made an appointment for 10am and an hour plus some change later and they are shuffling cars in and havent touched mine. Whats the point of an appointment then?It would be 0 stars since I never got service but hey, live and learn I guess.
My whole family has lived down the street from here for many decades.. they ALWAYS treat us right and are always willing to go the extra mile.. thank you to the manager and staff!!! 😁
Went for basic oil change. It took 35 min and paid $27 ($24.99+tax). All was pretty easy and I had a very nice experience.
Set up an appointment at 5PM. Came in and was told to not set up appointments so late in the day because they get busy at that time. They dont seem to know the notion of an appointment.
Great service. Not only did they identify things that needed to be done that other mechanics couldnt identify, they were willing to add my step up bars to my car at a very cheap price. Consider yourselves my permanent mechanic.
Excellent customer service. Employees seem well versed in their car mechanic knowledge, but prices are very expensive. Yes car maintenance and repair is an expected high expense and employees must get paid, however prices are still very high compared to other tire shops. I think you are paying more for the name brand vs quality, and this is why I give it a 4 instead of 5 star review
Bad experience / rude response over a call ... decided not to visit ...
I had to stop at this shop that i can say im regular customer. One of my truck tire was low on air. The manager was very helpful and he himself did inflate my tire. Thanks Firestone
Nice! The tech very friendly, I will recommend
I am so upset about the service here. We left the car for plug change and waited for more than 2 hrs and tell us now that they don’t have the right part! What is wrong with you???!!? Not going back at all from now!
The staffs here are lazy. Should be fired
Good customer service, not too long of waiting
Great service and staff. I have been scouring the South Bay Area for a tech that does precise alignments and finally found one. No pull, no wander, turns in quick and no wheel rub on my lowered with coilovers 2007 Saab 93 Sportcombi.
I made online appointment to do oil change and replace air filter . No one worked on my car until I asked for the status. The front desk staff couldn’t find the car key / service order and told me that some mechanic misplaced the order tag and key. Luckily, they searched everywhere and found my car key. But I have already wasted two hours and decided to cancel the order
Update: after 4 visits, keep wasting my time and spending money on Uber I decided to take the car to BMW since I didnt feel safe driving the car anymore. I have written to Firestone now but most probably I just wasted more of my time with them.Got my car here for a change of tires and now is not safe to drive, traction control getting triggered and car is wandering when driving
Front desk staff (all including white guy) and crew did a great job on my brakes. Comment above is in regards to previous reviews from people with no sense of humor. :)
Had to wait for 45 minutes even though I had an appointment.
I have been a Firestone customer for 5 years now. After the last two visits to this branch and the one in El Camino Real, I am taking my business elsewhere.Reasons:Whats the point of:1) making online reservation and receiving confirmation when it takes their stores 3.5 hours for an oil and filter change?2) buying a lifetime service from them for your vehicle when every time you go in they either come up with an excuse not to do it or forget on purpose to do it?3) asking for a regular oil change when the operator ignores your request (even though you mention it again!) and does synthetic oil change?4) asking for a service when they dont even have the related items for that service and have to run to another store to get them and make you wait 3.5 hours for it?Personally I think service people in the Bay area are so busy with the huge number of customers that they have forgotten the basics of doing business.
Excellent attitude and service. The front desk guy is 1000 times nicer than the one at Tully. I called this store after the store on Tully gave me attitude and told me leave the car there more than 5 hrs, i dont have time to wait that long. I came here, we did some paperwork and they already start working on my car. I rather drive a lil far to get good service and better attitude. Will come back here for more service
Classic firestone hard upsell. Would avoid except when absolutely necessary.
Thank you Firestone Milpitas team for finishing the job!
Staff are friendly fast and importantly honest!!
I had a great experience with the work done on my car and the staff! Felix was super personable, and the mechanic who worked on my car explained and pointed out my issues for me. Overall, really trustable!
Came in for my 10am appointment. The man at the front desk was a nice guy, but told me that they were behind. I recommend cancelling the appointment setup if you cant keep your appointment schedule organized. I was able to get off from work for a tire alignment at a certain time and had no time to wait. Lost me as a customer and will not recommend this place to friends and family.. Booooo!!!
Really busy store. I called about a battery and when able to get the car started to take it in for the battery we had to wait a hour and a half or a bit more. They did give me the internet price, which was very helpful. Overall the service was good, just that they were so busy. Must be the makings of a good shop.
Honest and informative
Lo2zng waiteven with appointment. 2.5 hrs for a simple flat repair:-(
I went for care care package. but they told me itll take like hour or hour n half but it took like 3 hours and skip a few just a few steps in their inspection. overall its good to have tire rotate.
Courteous staff and polite. Very knowledgeable. However, I had two tires replaced on my car and they automatically added the road hazard coverage for $17 a tire without talking to me or asking about it. I’m lucky because I know cars and how some of these things work, but that’s something that would make less knowledgeable people feel taken advantage of. Go through the items and options with all customers and this would have been a 5 star rating
Very slow. Had to wait for hours even after taking the appointment.
I ordered 2 tires and made an appointment to replace my front tires 3 days in advance. I set explicitly that I would not leave the car and would wait while replacement would be done. I received a confirmation next day. What was a surprise, when I arrived and it is turned out that they are no my tires. I spent in service half an hour before they let me know this. Why they did not give me a call?... Half of an hour is enough to replace 2 tires, but I water the time. It is very disappointed and disrespectful.
My two young kids and I entered the store about 5pm with a non-repairable tire. The manager Steve was very busy and was only down to two technicians. It looked like we had to return the next day since we couldnt leave the car overnight. But Steve started on the paperwork, had the rigth tire and asked Humberto the technician if he could squeeze us in and they did! We were out shortly after close of business. We even got a 60% discount on our new tire because of the Firestone tire warranty.
This is a great service shop. I had a weird experience going on in my car. I had a high pitched whirring noise coming from the car and I couldn’t for the life of me figure it out. The shop manager took the battery out, and tried to figure out the issue for a while, but unfortunately we couldn’t figure it out at all. Eventually I realized it was the cell phone charger making the noise, not the car at all. They did not charge for this service and I really appreciate that they tried everything in their power to find the issue and resolve it. A great automotive advocate. Thanks so much! Stu
I just bought a new set of tires and got an alignment done. I got their lifetime alignment 2 yrs ago when I got my car. This location always does a top notch job. I had an appointment and got right in. I had a little shopping to do and stopped for lunch at taco Bell down the street. My car was done and awaiting me when I returned in 50 minutes.
Overall Im satisfied with my experience here. There are a few items I believe they can improve upon. Such as:*More seating*More people working the check-in OR someone in a separate area working the phones*Calling someone when the work is doneOther then that, it was very reasonablly priced for a lifetime Front Alignment (179.99 including tax). Also good to note: my family has been going to this place for years with no issues (we are talking since the 90s).
Friendly staff, busy at times. Quality of workmanship was fair, as I had to return to complete a repair that wasnt fixed properly the first time. Even then, a 25 min rework job got no priority, I was quoted a 2 hour wait time for completion. I returned 3 hours later, in person, to pick up my vehicle, only then did they even start to complete the repair. At that point, the repair was completed in 30 min. Make your own decision to come here or not, but as for me, it might be a 3rd choice of repair shops.
Great service
They completed my vehicle on time
They did not change my oil ....i paid for a oil change and tires. I would leave tninking i got all service done. I asked nice man was my oil super dirty....he said oh i dont know was i suppose to do oil change .......i left without oil change but i was able to go back and get one ......but what if i didnt say anything to nice worker ......they do good work very expensive but is what it is. Paul is good.
I came on the dot for scheduled 2pm alignment. Three hours in the waiting room later, my car is still sitting in the parking lot. I’m staying here after store closes. Their reason: short staffed. Probably wouldn’t ever come back again. What’s the point to schedule an appointment?
I couldnt believe that this business still exists given that they put theircustomers lives in jeopardy on the road. I came here for a flat tire on Saturday and waited 3 hours. I was told it has been completed, so I signed the paper and left. A few days later, my tires pressure warning light came on. I checked the tire and the nail was still there, at the very same position, I was shocked. I called them and asked whats going on, the guy picked up the phone told me ... (excuse) .... Oh, our technician couldnt find your wheel lock and so they just put the tire back on. I told them I was there for 3 hours and I saw the technician took the wheel off, so the wheel lock was given to them, except nothing was done. Obviously they admitted that they didnt do anything and ask me to come back if I wish. These people are just very dishonest, they lie without a blink. Do yourself a favor, stay away from this business, save yourself some time and money.
I did an oil change for my car. Its pretty straight forward, yet they forgot to screw back so my car kept scraping. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE WHERE THEY CANNOT EVEN TO SIMPLE STUFF.
FastAffordable
Too much told me one hour and took 3 hours
Had to replace a part between engine and radiator because it was cracked. Part was replaced but not properly sealed. Had them do a pressure test and they said nothing was wrong. Its been two weeks and Ive had to refill coolant twice. Im not sure if lazy or incompetent. It has now been another week I take it in Ive waited 5 hours for you to fix this leak that you saw and it still hasnt been done? Taking it in tomorrow you will have two hours from the time I get there to get it done otherwise I want all my money back you do not get the parts back.
I have made an appointment for an oil change. Although I have had an appointment, I was told that it would take an hour or an hour and a half. I came two hours later. They did not even touch my car. I reminded them. The older guy did not even apologize for the delay. He tried to explain to me that visiting Firestone is similar to visiting doctors office. So his point was having an appointment does not mean anything. I am totally frustrated. At least, this guy should have apologized and offered a discount in return for their mistake. I dont recommend anyone to go to this store.
Paul the manager is awesome other employees are average the work is okay.
Called in for an appointment and was able to fit me in the next day. The employee on the phone was courteous and quick in helping me. A much better experience at this location than other locations.
Been to this shop before and had good service. Been a few times lately and not only was I blatantly lied to about parts for my car. They tried to charge me $1200+ for a service I had done elsewhere for $400.Coming back for the lifetime alignment today & they made my car worse. Its pulling hard to the right after driving away. Also my tire is making a wobbling sound. I feel unsafe and Ill never return to this shop for anything. Ill drive out of my way to avoid it actually.
Long wait to drop off, long wait to pick up, sloppy work with grease and dirt all over the new tires. They didnt reset TPMS so warning light stayed on a week, didnt realize it was trivial to reset and they claimed the car would have to be dropped off for hours for that.
I came in asking for specific alignment specs as I have a track car. The alignment that I brought the car in was completely off. Unfortunately they werent able to get the front close to my request at all, but they could tell that I was unsatisfied as the right front tire had camber that was positive instead of negative. They let me have the alignment for an extremely reasonable price, so I was completely satisfied. They suggested I get a camber kit. If I do upgrade the suspension, which I do plan on, I will definitely consider coming back. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the guy that helped me out, but he was asian, tall, and level headed.
The staff at this location are very friendly. It gets pretty busy on the weekends. I recommend scheduling an appointment.
Poor service, very bad management. I dropped my car in the morning for just regular oil change and maintenance and Steve the manager of shop said I will call you once your car is done. After 4 hours I called and asked if my car was ready they said not yet and that they will call me when it was. later in the evening he called and said we were too busy and couldn’t service you car, can we keep your car over night and we’ll do the service tomorrow.. really????????If you guys couldn’t do it let your costumers know we are busy today come tomorrow or go somewhere else. Its not fair to keep people’s car and then lie to them we couldn’t do it sorry....don’t lie to your costumers.Worst service I will never come back to this place.
I havent had any problems with Firestone. I dont know why people are always complaining. I am new to Firestone and while I did just spend 1500$ on repairs, I enjoy lifetime alignments and lifetime brake warranty.
The tires were great. The 3 hr wait not good and they didnt put my spare tire back where it belongs
Brought my car in for a tire rotation. They called me shortly thereafter to tell me they couldnt find the wheel lock. This was irritating because they were the last shop to have messed with my tires. I retrieved my car and went home. I found the wheel lock in my glove compartment. It was the second place I looked. Maybe use these guys for oil changes, but cant recommend them for anything else.
My updated review after fixing the issue myself!Just to prove how poor job these guys did and wanted to rip me off.My engine light was on and it was due to a malfunction on whats called EVAP system. I searched online on how to fix the vent valve part which just cost me $42 and took my two hours (I am not a car person believe me!). I drove my car for a while and check engine light was off! If I had listened to these guys I was going to pay $1100 because they just wanted to change the almost all parts ofthe EVAP system on my car!-------------------------------------------First review after the first visitIf I could give these guys minus star, I would do it. In my point of view, they are dishonest people like others reported in other places reviews. I knew exactly what the issue was and the part that they needed to replace costs $42, the owner just quoted me with an estimate $1100 . I am so frustrated.
A well kept auto shop popular for their reliable and proficient work on my vehicle. I appreciate how thorough and precise their check list is when it comes to performance, safety, and satisfaction.
I dont know why people are complaining about Firestone. The person at the front desk was upfront when it was going to take a while. Sure he asked to replace some stuff, but dont they all. I didnt find the front desk person rude at all. When my service was done, they pulled the car to the front curb. I dont usually do reviews but I think people are bashing on Firestone for no reason.
Cheap oil change but the front guy at the desk is VERY pushy. He will push and try to sell you everything and you will feel very uncomfortable saying No - at least 50 times. Probably comes from the old school of pushing sales instead of asking and doing what is best for the customers...
I called to see if they could do a Brake job for my 2001 and I come to be told that they can NOT use the parts that I bought from OReillys. Firestone buys their parts from OReillys and all I wanted is help to put the brakes on and to have them adjusted.. well when I spoke to Eric he told me that they buy all the part commercially and that they can NOT use the same parts that I bought. I dont get it ... its from the same store I / they buy from and they cant work on my vehicle.. really? I understand that but these parts were bought 10/03/15, they are still like new... I understand if they cant give me a warranty but to have me pay for all new parts is ridiculous.... I was looking for a place for all my cars to be fixed at and thought about it after I hung up with him.... I wont be taking my vehicles to them even if they are close! Thanks for nothing... I do get that they are Used parts in some people eyes but if you were Referred by the people they buy their parts from why not use them also, than on top of that these parts I bought have a LIFE TIME WARRANTY ... Wow! oh yea... he tells me to go to a MOM/POP shop seriously.... thanks for nothing.

Fast service and friendly. I have been going to this store for 6 years. Highly recommended.
Great staff very helpful. Prices r a little high. Good service.
Ok, its a tire store... but there techs cant seem to balance tires. They did this not one but 3 times and not by a little and not at just this shop.. the store that was in downtown san jose, which is no longer there got it wrong too.I thought I was going mad so I just got use to the car driving down the road and shaking.. Today I was no longer willing to put up with the shaking. I took the car to Aligntechs 1124 Old Bayshore Hwy suite #10, San Jose, CA. I was ready to spend big bucks to fix what was ever was wrong with the car.. Turns out Firestone Mis-balanced all of my wheels one was off by almost an ounce!!! I even brought a new wheel for one side of the car that felt so bad because I thought the wheel was bent it was the shaking was so bad. Firestore even mis-balanced a brand new rim! I spend over $4000.00 (tires, alinements, brake rotors and drive shafts) trying to find and fix an issue that could have been fixed by a shop just balancing the wheels right. total cost $45.00... Thank you Aligntechs drop dead Firestone.
Dont go there if you have the lifetime alignment package. They would find all kinds of excuses for not doing it. Its even worse that they put their BS in the system and made it difficult for other Firestone shops to do it. They sounded nice but lots of BS excuses.
Great company from mansgers too technicians. Go there and have a great experience.
On time delivery
Went for inspection and they did a good job of letting me know what improvements to be done
I’ve only been here once (I live 2+ hours away), and it was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Would not recommend going here. Went in with big expectations because of the reviews, but I was sorely disappointed when George upsold me on several items. He also added “Road Hazard Protection”, which I specifically said I didn’t want/care about but he added it anyway and figuratively shoved me out of the door at the end before I could get a good look at the receipt and realize what he’d done. He also strongly recommended I get a much more expensive tire than I had originally came in for, which he gave me NO prices for until I had already agreed to get them, so I felt uncomfortable/pressured not to change my mind. That was my biggest mistake. I ended up paying nearly $1000 for 4 tires on my old, $4000 car that I was looking to replace in the near future. But that’s only the beginning of this infuriating experience. The next day my boyfriend and I read the receipt thoroughly and realized what had happened. I immediately panicked and we called them back. Another man answered the phone (Paul? I think) and was immediately defensive/rude when we started asking about charges. He ended up saying they could take the $80 Road Hazard Protection off if we drove TWO HOURS back to the store and did it in person. We asked if they could do it over the phone with my card info, he said no, not possible sorry, you have to come down here. George even tried to say we had to come back within the week (4 days) which is NOT possible for us considering we work almost every day. So, we hung up and called another Firestone and was told the manager wasn’t in so “we can’t confirm/deny if a refund could be done over the phone, so call back next Wednesday when the manager gets back”.Wednesday comes, instead of even calling them back my boyfriend gets the idea to call their customer service number. We connect with a woman and as soon as my boyfriend starts explaining the situation, she’s shocked and tells him they absolutely CAN do refunds over the phone. She keeps putting him on hold and calling someone, then coming back and offering us more money. Eventually it’s settled that we’ll be getting $100 back, because George ALSO didn’t apply my company discount (from my job) to all 4 tires, only to ONE! The customer service rep says all I have to do is call George or Paul at the original location and they’ll do my refund over the phone. So I call, hoping not to get George (because every other phone call we’ve had with him he was extremely rude and seemed angry), and luckily Paul answers. He’s just as rude, and at one point he very obviously muted his phone for 30-45 seconds to presumably talk to someone, I’m guessing George since they were working together at that time. I could also hear him chuckling at several points as well. They ended up allowing me to keep the Road Hazard Protection BS as well as refunding the $100 to my card, and acted like he was doing me such a huge favor. In the end, I got some of my money back which was great, but it’s now been over a week of struggling with them on the phone and I’m exhausted. I will never be back to the Milpitas location, that’s for sure.
5 star for best serviceOil changeTire rotationAlignmentIn 1 hourThank you
Great service...helped me in a pinch, I appreciate George, Ishmael, & Steve!
Excellent service, competitive rate and perfect advice and work.Steven is the best.
If you dont want to be sold for services by car dealerships for a Tire Alignment service that is at least $150 per service, buy a Firestone LIFETIME Alignment Warranty for about $199.I have one for 8 months now which I bought after buying a set of 4 tires from Firestone. I havent used it yet so I decided to use it on July 21, 2016.I went to 3 Firestone Complete Auto Care shops along the route of my trip before arriving at the Milpitas branch. None of the first 3 shops were able to accommodate me for a Tire Alignment service without an appointment for that day.It was different though at the Milpitas branch. Though there were customers who were waiting for their services to be done and I arrived at 2 pm already, I was still accommodated and my needed service was completed at 3 pm.My Service Record showed that I was in at 2:05 and was out at 3:03 pm. In and out in less than an hour. They also never tried to sell me any service or forced me to buy anything though on my future tire needs, Ill be buying it from them.Great Service from the Milpitas Firestone Complete Auto Care.
A good place to get tires and oil changed. Get there early for faster service.
Best front desk service & the best mechanic very knowledgeable.
I scheduled an appointment for a simple service, after waiting in the lobby for 4 hours and watching countless walk in customers be helped, and my vehicle was never even looked at, I left.
I went here with Zio Xio.
