I bought my beautiful Volvo from Kyle at the mission Viejo branch. The whole experience was just wonderful. He was in regular communication with me as we were waiting for my car to arrive from Sweden.once I arrived at the dealership he had his team ready to quickly inspect the leased car o was returning. I was told my flat tire would be replaced by Monday when the car was given on Friday. Fast forward to Wednesday I pick up the vehicle for tire replacement and alignment. I should give one star but I know people are working hard. I was given a worst lemon off a vehicle by enterprise that was super tiny and ran badly with a huge smell of smoke in the car. It was not a great experience in the end.

I Had a 10:00 am appointment at this location for my 10,000 mile service and at 12:20 pm my car was still waiting to be pull in for service, no apologies from anyone for the long wait, so I ask how much longer would it be before my car would be ready, and I was told around 2:30 pm, so by now I was feed up been at this dealership since 10:00 am, and now I’m being told by the service advisor that I would need to wait for two more hours, I would never take my car here again, this place have very poor customer service.

I have 2018 XC90 and after 2 years my stop start didnt function properly, I took it to couple dealers and they checked battery and didnt replace it. I knew that the battery is the problem, I explained whole story to this dealership service representative and they checked and then replaced the battery and problem solved.I was told that Volvo is not paying for battery replacement but management approved it. they are so friendly and they work to make their customers happy.Special tank you to Dave Anton for his professional management .

I ran into some issues with the Volvo team. They said my warranty had expired in July and I would have to pay $800+ dollars for the repairs. They finally agreed that my warranty was good until November 28 2021 and the repairs were completed. They also failed to wash the car. I spoke to Dave Anton, Service Manager and he was very apologetic and helpful.
To put my review in perspective, this is only the fourth negative review that I have ever posted. I’m extremely disappointed with the level of service. This is using a benchmark expectation that Volvo is a luxury brand and it’s service should be commensurate. From the service advisor to the manager, I received nothing but a pedantic attitude. In addition to the behavior of the service representatives, my vehicle was delivered with many grease stains in the interior. My experience was so concerning, that I am even concerned that my vehicle might have been compromised and I will be sending a formal letter to the appropriate stakeholders to keep a record of the possible safety liability.
The experience was positive, with no pressure. The Representative, Kyle, was very knowledgeable about Volvo’s line and about Plug in/Hybrids, as well. He was extremely accommodating throughout the process. Overall the dealership’s team was very expedient at getting our sale put together. Very impressed with Mission Viejo Volvo’s teams and especially Kyle.
I know it was at the end of a Monday, everyone is tired, but Dave took the time to let me pay for the part we ordered earlier and gave me a bit more than I was originally quoted for my discount. We tentatively scheduled my follow up appt and would get me a price on two front tires that I needed. I was very pleased with getting this accomplished today. Thank you.

I live in Tustin and will drive here from now on for my service. I called and they got me in the next day (with a loaner car!) for an issue that began unexpectedly. They ended up needing to keep my car for an entire week, but Art, my service advisor, kept me up to date along the way. I would highly recommend them for service over Volvo Cars of Orange County (which I will write a separate review for them).

The system told me that one of my tires was low. I brought it in without an appointment. They saw a nail in it. Not only did they fix it right away, they took care of a minor recall--all within 45 minutes. Awesome service.

Oh my, after 10 yrs. Of using the Volvo dealership to service my car, I will be looking elsewhere for future repairs!!I had to call after the dealership had my car for over 24hrs. To find out the status of repairs and when the car would be ready. Left a message with a longer delay of waiting for a return call. I declined the repair of the expensive Sirius antenna repair and the manager stated the car was ready to pick up at which time we were now detained for the remainder of the day. I stated we would pick it up in the morning.When I arrived the next morning around 10am, the young man couldnt find my paperwork, it was then located by the manager. Now to get my car, that was delayed because it was in a sea of cars and they couldnt located the keys for the car directly in front of my car. When I finally got in my car, all the stuff from the trunk was in the passenger side seat, my car had not been prepared fore nor was everything put backtogether. What a nightmare!!!!!

Really enjoyed working with David Askaryar. He was very upfront and helpful in the car buying process. I would absolutely return to buy a car from David, even if the dealership is an hour and a half away. I did have one thing negative to say about my experience - The Audi Dealership we started the process at, not super welcoming. Suits and ties are a part of the job, attitude and judgement is not. Audi does not equal uppity, providing a welcoming atmosphere goes a long way. I showed up in gym gear because the drive was last minute and immediately following a workout. Long story short - if I can read your employees faces/eyes, other customers can too.

We purchased a new Volvo here last summer and it was such a smooth easy process. We told everyone about how if they ever needed a a Volvo to go here! Fast forward only 11 months later and I can’t believe it’s the same dealership. I, and the gentleman in front of me were greeted at the front desk after waiting 17 minutes for someone to be available. I then was directed to Brian (salesman) after previously dealing with Chris the summer prior. I had never felt so slighted ever in a dealership. I was talked down to repeatedly and he had an arrogant air about him. I asked for him to apply the military credit to my numbers “we’ve never offered that” ummm yep Volvo does and has for a long time. I’ve bought over 15 cars in 15 years—this isn’t my first rodeo and his condescending attitude makes never want to step foot in that place again. A genuine smile, courteous tone, and positive attitude can go a long way—especially in sales!

This review is describing the experience with 2021 Volvo S60 T6 AWD Inscription, having last for VIN digits 3850. The car was ordered in June of 2020 and delivered to the dealer from factory on 10/23/2020. It was equipped with all available options, including Polestar software, with out-of-door price of $57,450.The car was received from the dealer (Volvo Cars Mission Viejo) on 10/29/20, approximately 90 miles away from my residence – no San Diego dealer was actually willing to order the car using preconfigured specifications from Volvo website.The car failed at mile 28 away from the dealership – the odometer was at 34 miles. The first indication was that “signals are at fault”, immobilizing the left turn signaling. When the dealer was contacted the same afternoon, we were told that the car needs to be towed in (from 90 miles away), since one should not drive without operational signals. We never heard from them again.That was just the beginning of the S60 experience.During the next few days, we tried to contact Volvo directly, who advised us “that it is now dealership problem”. Not receiving any response from Volvo Cars Mission Viejo, we tried to schedule local (San Diego) service. We were put thru gauntlet, being berated by “why did you not buy the car from us” and “it serves you well since you did not buy the car here”.Finally, the car was taken to San Diego Volvo, by scheduling the appointment and the car loaner. The “customer adviser” did not show up at scheduled time; we were told to “wait until someone shows up”, since “he owns the appointment”. Hours later, he did show up and informed us that there is “no car loaner” – in spite of guarantee that one would wait for us. Having no choice, we left the car with the dealership overnight.The next morning, I was informed that the car is “repaired” – the claim was that the entire left-side electronic module (responsible for 360 camera and signaling) was faulty and was replaced. Attempting to collect the car the next day, we were presented with the same fault (no signal, no 360 degree camera) and were sent back on our way (sans car), forced to leave the car over the weekend.The next week, we were summoned again to collect the car. This time around, the car functioned for 3 (three) full days, resuming the same fault. It then escalated: it refused to start, at random intervals.We are now stuck with a brand-new vehicle (less than 500 miles on the odometer) and no recourse other than to hire an attorney.As far as buying this car – please pass. While it looks good on paper (which is why we bought it), it is the most unreliable vehicle I have ever had – including the garage queen Audi Q5. When it does drive, it is inferior to A4 and much, much worse than any Lexus sedan we owned (LS and GS). Any comparison with BMW 3 series (presumed competition) is just laughable – its handling is boat-like for anyone accustomed to BMW precision and stiff chassis.However, much, much worse than the vehicle is actual Volvo customer “support” – it turns out that there is no such thing in existence.
I had a recall with door latches / lock. It was done on Friday. The drivers side door now sticks. I am going to take it back to the dealer so hopefully they will adjust it .

You would think after spending over $200.00 for an oil change and tire rotation that they would have checked the tire pressure. Surprise, surprise I get about a mile from Volvo Cars of Mission Viejo and all four of my tires show low tire pressure. Well, you cant get good service these days.
I bought my Volvo in San Diego three months ago. I was traveling to Los Angeles and few miles south than San Clemente a warning “low pressure tires” appeared on my dashboard. So I decided to stop by at Volvo Cars Mission Viejo. In five minutes they repaired the issue. I know it was very easy but I have been impressed by the courtesy and friendly service provided. Sometimes, small details turn a bad experience in a good one!

Ill try to keep the recount of my 5 month purchase process brief. LSS: after flying in to purchase a CPO XC90 T8 for the full advertised price, I was lied to about what seems like every part of the purchase process, and blamed for my lack of knowledge about CA law, since I was coming from out of state and made that known on my first contact with the dealer. The car wasnt even on-site when I arrived, wasnt remotely charged when it showed up, my salesman passed me around to others as he was too busy even though I had an appointment, I was forced (told it was a state requirement) to pay for a registration service that I later found not to be a state requirement and I was unable to register the vehicle for almost 3 months. When I engaged the only helpful person at the dealer, Tony, he was eventually able to advocate on my behalf and after 3 full months, and thousands of dollars hanging in the balance, finally got registration completed and additional money reimbursed (not without much more effort from me). At this point, I asked if the dealership was willing to offer me anything from the countless hours and legal/financial liability that I had been subject to while next to nobody was doing their jobs, and after nearly a month more waiting was finally given the grand opportunity to PAY COST for a 10year/Unlimited mile CPO extension (which I had requested) but with the incorrect deductible term. I unfortunately didnt catch that, and signed everything, which is on me, but I never discussed this plan/term as a viable option. Nor do I consider paying for something that should have been GIVEN to me after countless failures to be proper retribution. Im not sure if the term snafu was purposeful to mitigate cost to the dealer in hopes that I wouldnt notice, or was just another detail that slipped through the cracks. Volvo cars are fantastic, just avoid this dealership, as management lacks customer service at best, and screws their customers on purpose at worst.

Amazing People!How best to introduce the new Volvo Mission Viejo other than to say – amazing people, courteous, friendly, engaging, helpful (sorry Honda), who demonstrate their commitment to integrity with every interaction. They may have a small storefront compared to some of the OC auto megamalls but in my opinion, they are on par with the very best marquee brands and dealership in Southern California.I have had the pleasure of working with Kerry Mitchell, General Sales Manager right after the LA Auto Show when I went searching for the new S60. Kerry was straight up with me from the outset – it is a fantastic car that breaks new ground in its category, is made in the USA, and although demos were available for the media it will be a few weeks before the first ones hit his showroom. Would I like him to take my info and contact me when the first one arrives? Of course.Well I was pleasantly surprised when the cars came in earlier than anticipated AND Kerry reached out to me immediately! My business travel made finding a time slot a bit difficult, but Kerry was supportive and understanding.I did arrange a follow-up visit. Timing couldn’t have been better as now Volvo Mission Viejo has several of the new 2019 S60s available. They are all technology masterpieces with incredible safety innovation. It isn’t just marketing hype with Volvo – safety is their way of life.Tracey helped walk me through a few different S60 configurations. Frankly they are all beautiful, well crafted, and as a current Mercedes owner, C250 Sport AMG (3rd Benz) I can tell you this new S60 gives them a serious run for the money.I drove the S60 T6 R-deign. For the sports car lover this is your ride. Tracey by the way knows her way around the car, was a master at the digital interface which after one simple demo I had down cold. The controls on the Volvo are incredibly intuitive. She helped me setup the Heads-Up Display (HUD). Now I’ve used old-school HUDs in Oldsmobile and other legacy US cars but this one rocked. Very easy to see regardless of outside light conditions and incredibly informative.I could go on about the car, but it is the dealership that excels. Their facility is inviting, as I said the people are amazing, and I believe the entire team at Volvo Mission Viejo are committed to ensuring you have a fantastic experience as a new member of the Volvo family. We leased a previous loaner 2020 Volvo V60 Cross Country from Volvo Mission Viejo in September 2020. The dealer used the wrong city address on all of our documents (even though the car was delivered to the correct address). After calling Volvo to change our address, we still never received the registration. We called the dealer four times, leaving voicemails (and having the front desk leave notes for the DMV contact). She never called us back, and when the loaner registration expired, we were hit with $190 in extra DMV fees for a delayed registration.Both the DMV and AAA claimed Volvo Mission Viejo was the only one who could rectify the paperwork issue, but the dealer refused to fix the mess they had created. Volvo Mission Viejo claimed there was nothing they could do, even though their employee had written the wrong city in our address (the address they wrote does not exist). Calls and voicemails to the manager were never returned.This was our second Volvo and we had convinced two friends to buy Volvos in the past, but this experience soured us on the company and the dealer, and we will never buy a Volvo again as a result. Truly one of the worst customer service experiences weve ever had, and it took two full days to unwind the paperwork mess they created. Save your time/energy and avoid this dealer all at costs.
