Mickey is the absolute best at this store. She spent so much time with me personalizing a beautiful palette that was perfect for me. I would recommend her to everyone, just ask for Mick!

Went in for a 15 min makeup session and walked out feeling cute. Zachary is great!! He did my eye makeup and I loved it. He even explained each step and what he used which was helpful for someone like me who can barely put lipgloss on. I forgot to get the other associates name who was working but she was great too!! Love the vibe in there. They are definitely knowledgeable about their products. Zachary gathered all the products I wanted that he used on me, answered my million questions and helped me pick out a few items. He helped me pick the perfect lipgloss which is my new favorite. I would definitely recommend this store for all your questions or even if you wanna look cute with some pretty above the mask makeup.

I was there today and nobody came to help. Meanwhile they were helping all the other customers and also the customers came after me. If you like the feeling of being not helped because of the race, then totally recommend. Worst experience ever. Better go to somewhere else.

The staff is always very knowledgeable and helpful. Unlike the M.A.C cosmetic counter located inside a Nordstrom in a L.D.S. owned mall called City Creek AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS!!! They are incredibly rude and condescending. Youd think they were working in some kind of reverse commission. Like maybe they get paid to have the least amount of sales. Never once have i had a good experience in there and I refuse to ever go in there again. But the store located in Fashion place mall, this one...wonderful. I think all of you are grerat!!!!

I visited this MAC location yesterday. I hadn’t been to the mall in almost 6 months because of Covid and I was dreading the experience. I meet Zachary who made it so lovely I had to come on and share! He was very busy butacknowledged me immediately. When he could finally help me he listened to everything I said and the suggestions he made were perfect! I just did my makeup and I’m feeling fab! I came by today to turn in some empty containers and was extremely impressed by both the safety measures taken by the store, and the friendly & helpful staff! I genuinely enjoyed every minute of my time in the store. I brought my daughter in to look for a lipstick and I was surprised at how friendly and helpful the staff here is. Heidi was nice enough to help her find the perfect color she was looking for. Mallori and Zachary were so helpful too. We told them we were new to the area and everyone was so warm and welcoming. The store was super clean and organized. My favorite part is the customer service. I cannot stress enough how important good customer service is to me. The team here has GREAT customer service. We will definitely be returning customers andI would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for awesome make up and great service!

I had an appointment for my makeup to be done, I was 30 minutes late due to traffic and they were still so nice about getting me taken care of! Mickey did my make-up and she did such an amazing job giving me exactly what I wanted! I was so happy with the service, literally everyone in there was beyond nice! I really appreciated that Mickey took her time, but still completed the job in perfect time! So happy with what I had done!

I walked in and was greeted by Reese. She was so knowledgeable and so helpful! I brought in my used foundation to compare so we could find the right shade for me, and she took so much time to make sure I found what I needed. I love the fact that I can trade in my used containers for a free shadow or lipstick. When I walked in the store, I was immediately greeted by Mike. He made me feel so comfortable. I asked for his suggestion between a couple of products and he immediately guided me to the product that was perfect. Instead of just explaining it to me, he went above and beyond and asked me if he could show me how to use it, and educated me about the best application process as well. I throughly enjoyed my time there and would absolutely suggest going there to anyone wanting to hear from the expert. I was also checked on my two other associates to make sure my experience was great. Thank you!!

Me and my friends went to pick up a couple of things and our experience was amazing!! Jocelyn and Heidi went above and beyond for us! They were both so nice! Jocelyn took the time to give us all make-overs and teach us how to apply everything(which she really didnt have to)!! She was darling and had the cutest personality! Ive never seen better customer service! We are all moms and we left there feeling so beautiful and excited to use our new makeup! Cant say enough good things about Jocelyn and Heidi!!!

My wifes family and I went shopping and stopped by this MAC store and were thoroughly impressed with the customer service here. My mother in law was treated like royalty as an employee walked her through some of the products and sat her down and tried them on her to see what she would like. We were in there for over an hour as she was treated like we were in a 5 star hotel. Bravo. Excellent customer service

I had an amazing experience working with Reese. She warmly greeted everyone who came through the door and when I explained what I was looking for, she sat me down to do a full face. She took so much time walking me through the application, brushes, and products she was using. She was fantastic about listening to what my needs were and what I was looking for and created a PERFECT look for me. She listened to how long I want to do my make up and the colors and face I was going for - i NEVER felt like she was overselling a product she didnt believe in or was trying to get me to buy something I wasnt realistically going to use as part of my routine. At every step of the application, Reese explained everything perfectly and was so warm and funny the entire time. This is THE BEST experience I have ever had while buying makeup. She even numbered all the products I bought in the order in which they are applied so that I wouldnt be lost when I got home. I always assumed MAC was for makeup geniuses who wanted crazy colors and looks, but Reese put together the perfect professional face for me that is easy to apply for a novice . I am SO EXCITED to practice with my new makeup and brushes. Thank you Reese for such a WONDERFUL experience at MAC.

I had a great experience here. I was immediately greeted when I walked in by a friendly male makeup artist. I wish I would have asked for his name. I told him what kind of makeup I was looking for and he asked me lots of questions to understand my skin type and what kind of look I preferred. He suggested makeup that was perfect for my skin and he quickly found the shade that matched exactly. He was efficient, personable, and not pushy at all. He was knowledgeable and able to suggest other products that would also achieve the look I wanted. Because he gave me the personalized attention I needed, and because he knew what he was doing, I was in and out quickly, and with everything I needed. I love that MAC has all of their products available to try before you buy, and real makeup artists available to guide you. This particular makeup artist does all aspects of his job very well. Amazing!! Heidi was a HUGE help. Went in previously to Sephora and had asked for a mini make over so I could learn how to do a smokey eye and Sephora had turned me away insisting that they were super busy even though there were many workers on the floor and barely any customers. Super frustrating so I decided to go next door. Mac provided me with AMAZING customer service I had asked Heidi and from the start she sounded super excited to help me she was the only one on the floor and as she was helping me with my make up while multitasking and helping customers on the floor. Walked me step by step while doing my make up and I walked away with a couple products that I loved!!! LOVED my make up and the whole experience. Will definitely be coming back!! I just want to say thanks again to Heidi for being a huge help and for being so kind!! I don’t have a lot of time being busy being a mom and having work and school so it’s these little last minute things that I appreciate so much!!!

Ive been a fan of MAC for a while now, I usually shop at just the counters rather than stand alone stores, but the first time I ever went to the Fashion Place mall I decided to go into this amazing store and just browse like I always do. (Makeup fanatic here) The very second I stepped into this store, everyone was just so unbelievably nice to me. They complimented my makeup, and asked if it would be okay to try out a few highlighters on me. (Since Im so pale, its hard for me to find a good highlight but I LIVE for a good glowing face where my highlight shines so bright that it burns everyones eyes. I want to look like my skin is literally made of mirrors.) Anyway, they made my skin GLOW with their new highlighters and were just so absolutely nice and so easy to talk to. Ive found that if I go to most makeup stores, they either are biased about their own makeup opinions or just try to sell you the most expensive thing. At this store, they didnt even bother to try and sell me anything, they just were talking makeup techniques and fun looks they liked, like true makeup lovers. I had so much fun in this store that I left with my face sore from smiling too much. I wish every experience at a store could be like the way these people were. I can not praise this store enough! 10/10 👌

After being treated like garbage by Sephora went into Mac and was treated by Mickey and she was such a wonderful professional. She did my make up made me look so natural and such an amazing make up artist. If you are looking for great Male up and amazing service dont waste your time at Sephora head straight to MAC were your treated like a valued person.

This Mac store is so amazing I wont shop at any other store in the Utah area. The stores whole staff is so inviting and helpful. Zaneta went above and beyond today and made it the most amazing experience ever and completely SLAYED my face. I will continue to go out of my way to shop at the fashion place Mac!

Ive been using MAC for years, and my daughter was looking to try some foundation for the first time to cover some preteen acne, so I brought her to this store.We were quickly greeted by an employee, who matched my daughters color, applied beautiful eyeshadow, and gave her some skincare samples. She explained how to use every product and answered all my daughters questions.I wish I would have gotten her name... The receipt says Mallorie. She made my daughters first real MAC experience amazing!

The staff is knowledgeable and always very kind. Ive always worn Mac cosmetics but recently felt it wasnt looking the way I wanted anymore. When I went to the store the makeup artist knew exactly how to solve my problems. Couldnt be happier.

The artists are great. They have awful return policy. Only 30 days! After that, no returns or exchanges or store credit. Id rather buy the MAC stuff from Nordstrom who has wayyyyy better return policy.

Don’t ever get your makeup done here. They rush so fast through it and if politely tell them that you don’t like it at the end, they get really rude and customer service goes out the window. My face was blotchy, none of my eye shadow was even blended in, and I told her I didn’t want heavy eye makeup on my lower lashes and she went heavy af. I looked worse with all the makeup on. I am so annoyed I just spent $60 to sit there for 45 min and waste my time then immediately wipe everything off.

I just want to say thank you very much for the makeover that you do on me, and show me how to choose the right makeup to buy.All of you are the best staff so far, I will give you a 5 star and 100% percent on the job that you do,I will keep on buying makeup at your company, keep up the good work.

I moved to Utah from NY & this is the first time Ive been ignored at a MAC... Im a brown girl & I think they were a little intimidated but rather than at least say hello. 2 employees who were not helping someone, huddled in a corner to whisper...then when 2 new (fairer skinned) customers walked in they ran over... I dont think its a race issue. But they definitely need to get it together or at least hire a brown person if they cant cut it!

This place is fantastic!! I have never used MAC cosmetics before, always thinking something a bit lighter would prevent breakouts on my sensitive skin. However, after trying a friends MAC foundation I figured I would give it a shot. Truth be told, Ive never been very good at doing my makeup (15 years of wearing it and I still didnt understand the need or use for primer!!). Not only did the sales associates help me find a good foundation and concealer for my skin type, but the woman who helped me sat me down and showed me some techniques. I was very upfront that I didnt have a lot of a lot of funds to spend there, but that didnt seem to phase her. She simply explained what she was using and why (i.e. Wet brushes vs. dry brushes, primer/sealer spray, and eye shadow brushes). I had just gotten off of work and my makeup was its usual end-of-the-day shitshow, which would often make me insecure in going into a makeup store where the sales associates look like models, but she seemed genuinely excited to show me some tricks and how to prevent my makeup from melting off halfway through my day. She explained that often times customers come in knowing exactly what they need and she doesnt get to educate/play around, so it didnt matter that I wasnt going to buy everything she used on me, she was simply happy to help. The past few days I havent had to run to the restaroom to make sure my eyeshadow wasnt giving me raccoon eyes by noon, because I feel great about how I look and knowing my makeup will stay on! I am so very grateful for the tutor session, thank you 🙏🏻.-Casey

This store is terrible! I made an appointment to get my make up done for pictures a week in advance. They called the day before to reschedule my time due to staffing. I showed up at my rescheduled time and the girl told me she had been “stood up” and was the only one working and could no longer do it because there were a lot of customers in the store and she needed to help them instead. Are you kidding me? Mind you, her makeup looked awful and I wouldn’t have wanted her doing my makeup anyway. Thankfully, I was able to go to Nordstrom’s Mac counter at such short notice where I usually go anyway and they were more than helpful! Stick with Mac at Nordstrom and forget this store.

Im a huge fan of MAC and was really excited to see an actual MAC store appear in Salt Lake. I usually buy all my MAC products from Nordstrom, but decided to venture in here one day. There is a tall man who works here who I believe may be the manager and he is AWFUL! Rude! If you return an item (even if its unused) he will look at you like youre the devil. From now on I will only purchase from Nordstrom.

My friend and I went in today to check out some products, while I was there a girl (forgive me I I spelt the name wrong) Zanana was so helpful and sweet, went hella above and beyond to give us a great experience! She showed us the ringlight they have in the corner and was overall an amazing employee to interact with!

Mac online has to be the freaking worst!! You have to constantly login and it s like nope password not right. But it will send you coupons because your an “obsessed member” all together Mac is horrible I wish I didn’t like there lashes or I would be done with them!!
