I LOVE this place! Everyone is always so kind and welcoming when you walk through the door. Dr. Berry is great! She is very thorough and really cares about you. They are currently closed due to the lock-down, but they were super quick to answer my emails and shipped contacts to me in three days. I cant say enough good things!

The office is so welcoming you feel like you are at home. Dr. Amanda Berry is so professional and kind. My glasses were both fashionable and comfortable. They go well above and beyond to make sure you are fitted correctly and talk to you about how best take care of your vision needs. They also work with insurance companies to ensure your needs are met and painlessly as possible.

Outstanding practice! My family has seen Dr. Berry for the last 4 years. We appreciate the time she spends to ensure that all of our questions are answered during our appointments. The staff is professional and very knowledgeable in assisting with selecting frames. We would not go anywhere else.

Went to see Jessica Durham and am 100% satisfied. she really listened to me and gave me options regarding my contacts prescription change and how to handle being on the cusp of needing multi-focal lenses. with a simple adjustment in one eye, I am seeing better than I was just days before! Dr. Durham is tops!!

I have a very difficult prescription and knew I would be a challenge for anyone. Dr. Berry not only has the clinical skills necessary, but also an extremely patient and calm demeanor, which allowed her to spend more then adequate time on my case to get my prescription absolutely perfect. She is complemented by a wonderfully caring and competent staff to make the entire experience wonderful.

Ive been seeing (haha) Dr. Berry since I moved to TN.Yes, things can be what i consider pricey. Im a single parent. A cheeseburger is pricey. She caught my glaucoma before it caught me. Shes been great about helping me get the best i can for my insane prescription (i am like Helen Keller 2.0 but not). The other doc in the office even said my kids have the most medically BORING eyes ever. No need for anything for them unless I want to spend a lot of money on sports vision training for my daughter.Im sure any negative reviews might come from a lack of understanding of corrective eye products and their own rx. Ive been in glasses since I was 4 so I might not like it but my genes kind of hosed me...No one has ever tried to get tons of money from me for things I dont need. She will offer things but if I say no, shes been fine.

I have seen Dr. Berry for 22+ years. I followed her from Hickory Hollow Mall to Nashboro Village to her current location in Green Hills. I feel like she is family at this point. My mother has also seen her almost as long as I have, and now my wife has gone to her for a few years. Dr. Berry is awesome! She is kind and laid-back, but also very straightforward about your eye health. She always wants the best for her patients. If you have vision insurance (VSP is best, btw), the annual appointments are extremely affordable.

I am more than extremely fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Berry. Due to my own unique needs, dealing with both Keratoconus and Amblyopia both, if it wasn’t for Dr. Berry and her attentive staff (Christy in particular) I would most likely be unable to function in life! No exaggeration. Forever Blessed and Thankful for crossing paths with Dr. Berry 10 yrs ago.I never write reviews for anything or anybody....

The office environment was nice and clean, and the receptionist and optometrists assistant were extremely helpful and friendly. Otherwise, my experience was very poor. This is not the place to go for affordable eye care. They really encourage (push) you to get an MRI pic of the retina that costs extra, because most insurance wont cover it. I declined, but would have been charged for it at the end had I not been paying attention. While the main purpose of my visit was to have an eye issue looked at, the doctor did a full examination and told me I needed new glasses and daily wear contacts. When I told her I had a full year supply of 2-week contacts at home and wasnt able to purchase new ones, she went cold and silent. It was very awkward. I had to ask her to check the eye issue I was having at the end of the appt because she didnt even address it. She looked at my upper eyelids and wrote me an Rx for eye drops without saying one word about how or why I was to use them. It was just a very strange experience. Then at the very end of the exam, she told the front office worker that I needed to go get glasses.I was reluctant, but then learned my insurance would cover glasses with a pair of frames up to $130. I couldnt find a pair of frames for less than $250ish. I did settle on a pair of frames around $250 figuring it would still be worthwhile since insurance would cover most of it. After all the additional fees (polish, a thin lens fee of about $140 which ive never had in my life, and a few others) my total was $450. I coulndt believe it. All I wanted in the first place was to get my eye looked at, and I felt a little taken advantage of after all was said and done. Not only this, but I soon found out that my husbands appt earlier that day cost $950 (he purchased contacts and glasses). $1400 for our eye care, WITH insurance, is out of our budget. We have both worn glasses and contacts for the majority of our lives, and never have we come close to spending this much on eye care.Perhaps we should have been more forthright about our budget limitations. We just felt blindsided, because like I said, weve never come close to spending this much on eye care in the past. So the main purpose of this review is to help prevent anyone else from making this mistake. If you have a hefty budget and are looking for designer frames, this may be your place. If youre like us and have a smaller budget and arent concerned about designer frames, this is not your place.
