I recently purchased a washer and dryer for my salon here, and I am so very pleased with the overall experience. I had no clue where to begin as my old set was 10+ years old. Jessica was so knowledgeable and polite. She gave me a crash course in laundry and made it easy to understand my options and decide what set fit my needs. She was so honest, informative and very patient with my indecisiveness! I had my new laundry pair delivered and installed 2 days later and was so impressed with the overall experience. I will continue to shop with Jessica in the future, she went above and beyond for me. Customer service like that is hard to find and I’m grateful there are still genuine saleswomen like Jessica.
Very helpful. I came in for a riding lawn mower and the didn’t have one on the floor, so instead of ordering one online and having to wait to long for it, they transferred one from another store and I had my mower within a week. The customer service was very good as well. The 3 employees that were there helped out a lot and were extremely polite. I look forward to my next trip to this store

My experience with this Sears store was all positive. Great customer service, great staff who helped me with all my questions. They are courteous and very knowledgeable. I left feeling good and very pleased with my new lawnmower and especially the warranty. So happy that all parts are covered by a great warranty. Ill be taking my new lawn equipment back to Oklahoma and I will be back during the grand opening to see what other great deals will be available. Went in needing a new lawn mower. Wasnt sure exactly what I was needing. I had just purchased a riding lawnmower from Home Depot last year but apparently the one I got was not big enough for what I was trying to use it for. After Will and his staff took the time to educate me, we were able to pick out a new one that will work perfectly for my property. If I would have had someone take the time and explain it to me before I wouldnt have wasted my money. Thanks alot Home Depot. I will be returning for all my future needs. The new Sears Hometown location in New Braunfels is so great!! It is so conveniently located and beautiful! They have a substantial variety of products to choose from. I was able to meet the new owner as well as some of the stores team members, they are all very polite and colloquial. I anticipate the new Sears Hometown store will be my go-to store for appliances, tools, and lawn & garden goods. I am looking forward to doing business with such a great locally owned establishment!

I recently went into sears here in my hometown. The business is under new management I believe the new owner said his name was Will. The store is running so smoothe. There is also and employee named Dustin. If you need any help he or Mike are your go to people. They know their stuff. I felt so welcomed when I walked in the door and I was helped when I needed it. This store is doing amazing things! Keep it up guys!
Love that the hometown stores are not closing and I can continue to get all my favorite name brands and be supportive of a small local business. New location is really nice. I called to inquire about a washing machine and Zach was very friendly on the phone. Really helped me out alot.

Since the time Sears is under new ownership, vast improvements have been made in customer service, product selection, product knowledge, and over all integrity of the operation. Sears Quality, service, and warranties are back. My wife and I bought a refrigerator. We created a new account, picked out the refrigerator of my wifes choice and had the new refrigerator delivered, installed, and the old refrigerator hauled away within 24 hours. Service was excellent,.
The new store looks great. I went in to buy a new dishwasher and Ari helped me find just what I needed. She was very helpful!! I will definitely be back!
I recently bought a Double Oven gas range and Convection Oven at the Hometown Sears Store in New Braunfels, TX. I was able to purchase it right before they started moving the store to a new location during the 4th of July holiday sale. The staff was wonderful and very professional. It was the easiest appliance search I ever had because I told them what I needed and they steered me to exactly what I wanted. I have always purchased Kenmore appliances because of their quality and great warranties.. I look forward to the Grand Opening so I can purchase a new refrigerator to match my oven with the new black stainless steel that resists smudges and fingerprints!
The New Location is great! Much bigger and way more merchandise. Plenty of parking on the side of the building. I look forward to my next visit.

Just found out that they are changing owners AND moving to a better location. The new owner personally introdued himself when I went in looking for a new washer and dryer set for my home. He took the time to help me decide and learn the pros and cons of each set I was interested in. Bottom line, I will do all my appliance shopping there from now on.
Jessica was so very helpful! I went in looking for a tractor. I was dead set on a husqavarna that was out of my price range, Jessica had so much knowlwdge and patience with me and finally convinced me to go with a Craftsman Pro. I’ve had it for about 2 months and could not be happier, it’s exactly what I needed and saved me so much!

They have decent selection for the size of store, prices are ok. Being the location it’s at be ready for traffic towards I-35.

The new owner has really improved staff service . It is small enough to get personalized service, yet can still provide big box store variety, best of both worlds. My goto store for its convenience.
I placed an order for same day pickup from the sears website. It was not processed after several hours so tried calling and nobody ever answered the phone after repeated attempts. Looking into it I saw notices saying they were moving and would reopen the 12th, others said they would reopen the 25th. Sears emphatically insisted they were still open though but customer service couldnt reach anyone either. Spent hours with customer service, hung up on 6+ times and rudely talked over. Never got to speak to a supervisor despite asking 5 agents, even got disconnected from the supervisors queue. Nobody could simply move the order to be picked up at a store that we knew was open. I had been trying for hours. All solutions involved canceling and totally doing a new order which would double bill the credit card while the refund processed or submit various requests to offline support with a possible 72+ hour delay. I have been a Craftsman customer for 40 years and I am really sad to see Sears failing but it is totally 100% their own doing and this has made letting go of Craftsman a whole lot easier for me.Update: Now that the order is canceled, it is in a perpetual cancel pending status, apparently waiting for someone to respond from the store that isnt open so it still has a hold on my credit card. Goodbye Sears.update: 6 days later the order is still pending cancellation, my credit card has been charged and posted, sears still wont do anything. I am having to contest it through the credit card company.

The worst ever!!! I will NEVER go back. The moment we walked in NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called to see what time our washer and dryer will be delivered and the guy said “the truck just got here we still have to unload” like I was a bother. Never again!
Under New Management and the service was friendly and I got a good price and was able to get the dishwasher right then.

Do not shop at this store! I have been to and worked at several Sears stores and this is by far the worst I have ever dealt with. For starters, half of the employees there have no idea what they are talking about. They constantly sell customers the wrong product and cause all kinds of complications when ordering a product. Secondly, the owner doesnt seem to care about his customers. When he unloads your products off of the truck, he doesnt use a loading dock or a lift. He has a rickety wooden ramp that he rolls the appliances etc down. Then he puts them not in a warehouse or stockroom but storage pods. The temperature in those pods gets up to 120-130 degrees in the summertime, which can cause damage to certain appliances, mainly washing machines and dishwashers, because the heat in the pods and the water that remains in the appliances can cause mildew inside the appliance. The products are just stacked haphazardly on top of one another in these storage containers. The delivery team almost always dents or scratches the appliances when they deliver them. So to sum it all up, if youre wanting scratch and dent appliances, this is the place for you. But if youre wanting a brand new appliance, Id advise you to stay away. - Former Employee

I called to get a price check on an item and an employee by the name of Nathan who answered was very rude wouldnt let me talk and quickly escalated the conversation when I asked to speak to a manager, he hung up on me, not once but twice. Horrible customer service, no wonder they get no business in there.
Couldnt shop due to Google hours posted incorrectly. Now M-F 9:30 to 6:30.
