The woman who answered the phone was very nice, and even called her boss (who was out of the store, apparently), to find out the answer to a question I asked. However, the boss policy of not ordering the part for new phones until they have your phone in their possession is incredibly inconvenient, as it means you wont have your phone for a couple days, and that made me decide to look elsewhere for a repair. If they have the part for your phone or computer, they will repair it fast, as I was quoted 20 minutes if they had the part. But that quickness is only if your phone or computer are old enough that they have a bunch of parts for it, apparently. Definitely call ahead before you make your decision.

Went to repair it in Branson but they couldn’t fix it, they broke it even more. But when I came to this awesome place they fixed it in less then 5 minutes. Definitely recommend they are nice people, great service, nicest workers ever. Come visit them;)

I brought my Alienware laptop in after being told that it had been fried, the motherboard needed to be replaced, and given a very large quote to fix it. I brought it in and had Cardinal look at it and they determined it was a part that would need to be resoldered but it was not unfixable. It took a while to get the part due the craziness in going on in our world, but it was fixed, put back together, and was done at a fraction of the cost I was originally quoted. I am very happy and appreciated their honesty and willingness to take on my project.

Especially Craig. He walked me through the buying process of a MacBook pro. He walked me through how to set it up and how the operating system works on a Mac because Ive never owned a Mac before. He also told me if I had any questions to give him a call and hed be more than happy to help me walk me through it or just swing on in and the staff could also help me out anytime I needed it.Like I said again I couldnt recommend a better place to go to purchase a good computer or have your computer, cell phone, tablet, TV, ECT... I called today to get my computer in, after spilling some water on it. They were able to get me in as soon as I could come no waiting. Starting working on it as soon as I gave them the computer. Asked me questions about what happened. They explained things really well, they talked to me about how I may need a new computer and this was why. Explain why they couldnt fix it and what was happening. Then tried to problem solve to make the computer last as long as possible. Super affordable also, didnt try and make me feel stupid because I knew less than them. Overall I would definitely recommend them.

Went to this establishment today with a stylus issue in my LG phone. The man and woman who assisted me today were very friendly and professional. The man fixed my stylus issue within 20 minutes, AND charged me less than half of what I was quoted at a different repair store!! Couldnt have asked for better service! Excellent business model and customer service. Went in with my 5 year old laptop and explained the problems I was having. They ordered the parts I needed while I was right there and I put down the deposit. When the parts arrived, within the time period I was quoted, they called me promptly to let me know. Brought in the computer to be fixed, the screen was replaced and a new properly sized cooling fan was installed. They even gave me a deal on some of the parts and labor for the fan, since it had been improperly replaced overseas with a fan less than half the appropriate size. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely use these guys for computer repair again.

Megan and Craig jumped through hoops all day to get my phone fixed! All day! I told Megan I needed my phone for job interviews and she immediately offered me a loaner phone. We got on the phone with my carrier to get my number switched over and run into issues for SIM card reasons that were really bizarre. But Megan didn’t give up. In the end, Craig came in on his day off! To fix my phone! I’m so happy and impressed. Customer service 10/10. I got set up wit a better screen protector and case as well. I’m going back for sure. The people at Cardinal were professional from the second I called them from the time I left. Customer service is big for me and I generally pay more for good customer service. I took my laptop Cardinal due to the fan making noise. I tried to take the bottom of the laptop off but come to find out that HP glues the bottom of their laptops and had two hidden screws that I never would have located. They fixed the issues while I waited which made me happy and were wonderful to work with. I highly recommend this company.

Prefer local business over big box. Replaced hard drive in laptop, in less than two days. Fair price. Four stars instead of five because they didn’t call me like they said they would after doing the evaluation, and also the next day when the computer was ready. I had to call them both times. Despite that, I will use them again for any computer work, phone repairs, etc.

My daughter called and ask if they would be able to fix her phone. They got details and said yup bring it in. We showed up 15 minutes later and were greeted and had a fixed phone in under 20 minutes! TL;DR: Unprofessional and unhelpful, even with a simple problem.I had one of the keys on my keyboard pop off this morning. After attempting to troubleshoot it myself, I decided to give Cardinal a try for the sake of giving a local business some support. My experience there wasnt helpful or satisfying. I didnt get a greeting when I walked in the door. The two employees that were there were bickering and physically swatting at each other. Neither one of them seemed to understand how to transfer a call to another line within their own store. After waiting for fifteen minutes, with the employee maybe spending two of those actually trying to fix my problem, I was told that there was nothing they could do for me. They barely tried. I ended up going home and super-gluing the key back on (to half success) because there was no attempt at giving me any further assistance.

By far the best service I’ve received at a local owned business. 15/10 recommend.He saved me more money than I could’ve imagined, stayed after hours to make sure his customer was happy, and is a nice genuine guy!PSA: he’s hiring (looking for a desk manager)

These guys couldn’t be nicer or more informative! I learned my phone was sold to me by my provider as new but was actually refurbished!! They quickly replaced my cracked screen. Their prices are reasonable and I will consult with them in the future!!

I went there this morning to pick up my sons laptop this morning after almost a month. No work had been done. I was told they couldnt find the part needed from their regular parts vendors. I was told they could get the part from another vendor but the owner would not use his credit card on that site. They encouraged me to order the part off the site the owner wouldnt even use. When I pay a repair shop up front to fix something I expect them to take care of it parts and all. I was told the 55 bucks up front was a minimum fee for diagnosing the issue. My wife was made to sign a paper saying that 55 bucks was needed up front when the website says a diagnostic was 15 buck. The owner said that he cant honor what the website says because it was outdated and he accused me of just wanting free stuff. Im a disabled veteran who works fulltime for a living. I didnt just want free stuff I felt swindled. The owner would not make it right nor would he take responsibility for an outdated website or the fact that he refused to go to the vendor that had the part I needed. I told him that i was dissatisfied and wanted him to make it right. I also reminded him that his recording when you call says leaving dissatisfied is not an option. He told me you cant please everyone. He had an excuse for every one of my complaints. His own employees even thought he was being unreasonable. Ive told my family and friends in Nixa to stay away from cardinal computers. The owner is shady, condescending, and refuses to take responsibility for his mistakes. My 55 bucks you kept might cost you way more because of your poor customer service and work (or lack thereof).

I just had my sons iPhone screen replaced here. The gentleman working in there was super nice. He replaced the screen while I was sitting there. I would definitely recommend this place. The prices were good also.

Had my son’s computer for a full month. The computer he needs to do online learning. Just to call me and tell me he can’t get the part through the place he is partnered with. Never did he warn of this being a possibility. Said it would take a few days when we first spoke. So he took my $50 he claimed was for a diagnostic and let the computer sit for a full month. Even though I had already informed him of the evident issue, the power jack had fallen off.You could see this from the outside. I feel he is a scam artist. Tried to initially get me to buy $400 worth of extra bells and whistles. Having three kids during a pandemic I obviously couldn’t afford that, stated I wanted the main issue fixed. Seems after this he just let my son’s computer collect dust. Just very shoddy business practices happening at Cardinal. I’ve spoken with several other residents of Nixa that have had similar experiences. Luckily, I’ve had people from a few other businessesin Nixa offer to fix my son’s computer for a small fee and in a timely manner.*Response to owner* My review is honest unlike your business practices. Every time we called which was often because MY SON needs that computer to do his online school, your employees never seemed to know what was going on with the laptop. I don’t fault them though, you. You have no accountability. You could’ve made it right, but failed and accused us of wanting something for free when you were unable to fix anything and waste our time and money. Your site said one thing, you say another thing. Which I still have a screen shot of your prices before you changed them on us. Anyone who wishes to see that can reach out to me. I’m not the liar here. I’m just an upset mother who has no tolerance for liars or cons. Other residents have gone through similar circumstances which shows me, this is a regular occurrence. Don’t waste your time here.

I loved this place, wish I would found them years ago. He was so nice and informative and friendly. Walked me through everything and made sure I had no questions! Great quick service, if you have any problems, questions, broke electronics. He worked on 3 phones and a tablet, and it all only took about 2 hours! TAKE IT HERE you won’t leave unsatisfied 👌🙂

I have a Hauwei Honor 8x (not a very common phone over here) and I dropped it shattering my screen. I called around to a few places and got in with Craig at Cardinal Computers & Cell Phone repair. We both expected it to be a quick switch out as I already had purchased the replacement screen. He gave me a price over the phone before I made my appointment, however once we tore into it, it turned out to be much more complex a replacement than originally thought and really should have cost much more in labor. Craig stuck by the price he estimated for me though and was really nice throughout the whole experience and let me watch the whole process as he worked on my phone. Love this place! I go to school in St. Charles & looked around at phone shops there to repair my screen & charging port. Average cost would be around $250, Craig charged me $160 for both repairs. Great communication, organization, & sales. Highly recommend.

I went in looking for a laptop to use for school told him everything I needed, he sold me a laptop that supposedly had all those things. Lo and behold now I am out my money and about ready to be kicked out of school because the laptop he sold is useless. It has nothing I can use!! IPhone 6S wasnt working. I took it to a different place first and wasnt satisfied with the prognosis. I was about to open it up myself to fix it and someone recommended Cardinal Computers to me and I thought Id give them a call. They took care of me and I know just enough after doing some research on how to fix my phone or what might be wrong with it to know that these guys were honest with me and took care of me at a very reasonable price and a quick turnaround. Based off of my experience I will be recommending them to my friends for sure!

Little over priced on some repair inquiries I had but the young lady I spoke with was very personable and polite. They wanted 150.00 for a screen to be replaced on a laptop. Found a replacement screen online for 42.00 and installed it myself. Very easy by the way.

We have been there twice now. Once for an iphone screen repair and once to confirm the death of one of my laptops. The owner is fantastic! He let me sit in for the screen repair as I was curious about how they did it. They also didnt try to upsell me garbage or BS me about my laptops death (power surge blew capacitors off the board). They were quick and even sent me pictures from their personal phones of the damage so I could file an insurance claim (i had them open up the laptop since i didnt have time and they were aware of that fact). They are great guys, dont overcharge, and know their stuff.

My first visit was several weeks ago my Samsung 7 speaker wasn’t working correct. I came in minutes before closing and Craig checked out my phone and it began working. Last week the speaker went out and wouldn’t work at all, I returned to Craig at Cardinal. I was annoyed and stressed and on a tight timeline. Very unhappy with my insurance and cell phone carrier. Craig explained his new insurance plan he offers customers and it’s amazing. Much cheaper and clear cut unlike my wireless carrier. He then gave me a loaner phone to use while he fixed mine. He was upfront about all things that could go wrong with my phone, which I appreciated. They were very patient and not annoyed when I popped in to check on my phone. I hope I don’t need repair in the future but if I do I will Always return to Cardinal and Craig and his staff. Very reasonable rates.
