Very rude employees. Please do not attempt to speak with a manager or district leader because they are just as bad. Discrimination in todays society will not be tolerated my son is way above age to buy nicotine and wasnt purchasing anything, but was kicked out of the store. The manager was very rude which is crazy because we have been to this store on multiple occasions and was never asked for an I.d just because we walked inside. I was purchasing something, so I had my I.D so could definitely see if he was purchasing something that would have been more they acceptable, but hat was the case, he was just waiting on me. After talking with a few people that have seen and experinced different things at this location, we all know what it is now. Just know that were watching you so make sure that you apply these same rules for all of your customers even if they arent purchasing anything.

The staff is always helpful and the prices are reasonable for a brick and mortar retail location.

Very chill spot. Tons of in stock items. Have a reward system and give special discounts to military and students. Worth it if youre a frequent smoker ;) thanks to the staff for being helpful and knowledgeable.

We have been regular customers here for a while. My husband went in this morning and the staff were extremely rude. I would think if someone spent thousands of dollars in the store, the staff would be a little nicer on a Wednesday morning. We wont be back.

We moved into the area about 6 months ago and Ive been frequenting this location since. From the first visit to the visit just yesterday, the experience is ALWAYS top tier. Best advice I can give, DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP. They arent going to pressure you into something or hound you for sales; if you need help, ask for it. Every person Ive worked with on the staff is incredibly knowledgable about the products Ive had questions on. Particularly last night, I wish I got his name, but I purchased a Boundless Terp Pen. The dude that helped me spent more time than he needed to offering a TON of insight on the product I was looking at, I mean well beyond the point of sale. Hopefully everyone has done their bid of customer service, but you can tell when someone just wants you to buy and when someone CARES about your experience as a consumer. That, in itself, speaks miles about the staff at this location. I appreciate the consistent knowledge and care, this is the place to go!

Papa Joes is a go-to destination every time Im in the Virginia Beach area. While I dont vape, my husband does and they have a great selection of juices for him. Whether its him coming with me to make the purchase himself or if Im sent in on my own to pick something up, I always leave with a purchase.What makes this place four stars versus five is because the level of customer service you receive is ENTIRELY dependent on who is working that day. There are some awesome guys who dont mind being patient, informative, and kind while I view the glass cases or while my husband goes through the menu of flavors. On the flip side, there have consistently been employees at least across the last four years who seem highly inconvenienced by us entering the store.Overall, there isnt a single place in the Hampton Roads area that I would recommend over Papa Joes.

Staff very cute n helpful

I came to this location several times over the past 2-3 weeks to check out the glass room which has its own room and could never enter the glass room due to too many people in there. It says 2 people at a time but its big enough for at least 6 with 6 ft social distancing but business is constantly being turned down due to the female employee with dreads. Then to top it off, this same female didnt even let me enter the store when it was pouring outside. She said there was too many people in the store at the time, which was 4 people not including the glass room. Be happy you have a job, especially working retail. You should always be kind and courteous to everyone while working but some forget but hey i got what I needed elsewhere.

The staff was fine. I’m giving them 3 stars because I went to buy e-juice that was a zero nic and was charged the new liquid nicotine tax. Come to find out they do not pay new tax on zero nic but is charging customers for it.

Theres a crew of the sweetest employees Ive ever met! February 8, 2019. I walked in and was greeted with smiles from all three of them. They saw my black Lab in the car and raved over him! I was helped with sale prices and products for making my own cigarettes! I got tobacco and two boxes of tubes for $17.78 which was eight dollars less than any other shop. We hope management pays these folks well. They deserve recognition! Kelly

Skyler was a very knowledgeable and honest salesman. Respect Papa Joe’s warning on their door about what to verbally not mention and service will be outstanding. He walked me through every step of what I needed as a first time buyer of higher quality glass. He was willing to go the extra mile to show me all of my options and brands and worked with me for a reasonable price that got me the most bang for my buck. I will recommend them to all friends and family and be a return coustomer thanks to my interaction. Definitely ask for Skyler.

Be aware! They sell expired stuff and saying that it’s not. I got pack pack of Hookah tobacco in November and it got expired at September. I called them first to tell about that and lady on the phone didn’t sound very positive about the exchange, not even a refund. I asked her to talk to the manager, she said me to call back when it will be manager’s working hours so I did. Manager approved the exchange. So I came in a week, after work, I work and live kind of far and they said me they can’t do anything without the manager what is till 5pm weekdays, when I’m at work too. Lady working there was very rude, she did her sale and after that she doesn’t care. Will shop at Pitbull tobacco then

Blew my expectations out of the water. Coming from NYC area, this not so little shop had big name glass artists and tons of accessories. Not to mention a full sized vape bar! Prices are alittle high, but your treated by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would recommend and will return again!

The location on virginia beach Blvd sucks. The customer service sucks so bad. Every time I went in there, no one spoke. Literally walked around the whole shop to see if anyone would speak. Nothing! No can I help you And their selection of vape products arent good. I prefer the one near greenbrier.

Store is small, not a lot of options. Not their fault of course. I did however, watch multiple people go in and buy cigarettes who barely looked of age, and even people who were underage and they were never once carded. According to state and federal law, card anyone who may look under the age of 27. Yes, sometimes looks can be deceiving and someone can look older or younger. However, not carding anyone at all is a little ridiculous and can get the company in a lot of trouble.

We went in to buy smoking tobacco because we just bought a new rolling machine and had never been in there before. My friend was reading a sign about HEMP and said what is hemp weed? They immediately said we said an illegal word?????? Get out??? I had never been in there before and never will again. Common sense even after I read they had been raided by the police - the owners think throwing people out of the store for CERTAIN words is assanine!! No wonder there wasnt 1 car in the lot. Your customers mentioning a word has nothing to do what the police did!!! Ignorant ! You lost revenue. This is America!! WORDS are not illegal - I am flabbergasted and will not stop sharing this story with anyone that will listen.

Very clean store. Friendly staff. They have a vape shop inside to try out different brands of vape flavors. I roll my own cigarettes so very cheap. I spend a total of about $17.00 a month to smoke cigs.

Thank you for the information Scott, much appreciated. From researching it a lot of people have had confusion over this. It seems to be completely random if there is pods included or not even when ordered from Lost Vape directly. As far as the warranty every YouTube review Ive watched the warranty card is separate, but yes you are correct there is one in the back of the manual. The problem here is lack of communication. I was given no info on this vape, it having a computer chip in it is something a customer would like to know. I simply asked to be shown a decent vape and this is what I was presented with. It is great though and a great suggestion, I love the thing. As far as the pods, as I said that Is a grey area and a roll of the dice if you get 3 or none. It isnt the end of the world obviously, I do think I should have been informed that there are 2 types of pods being 0.5ohm and 0.25ohm. All I need is the receipt then, Lord knows what might happen in 6 months with my luck. This was simply a lack of communication, and a lack of consistency with Lost Vape and other companies as far as the pods being a roll of the dice. Also it seems since this product being so new they are still changing things such as the warranty being separate and black/red, then changed to white, then simply removed and just put in the manual. Again, thanks for the reply its easy to get a bit frustrated when in the dark.

Contrary to the storefront and signage, the interior was well put together, clean, and professional--while maintaining a casual vibe. The employees are easy-going and knowledgeable. Prices are pretty standard with other vape shops, but in general, I personally dont see why 30ml of eJuice costs $20.

This place is amazing. I was a very difficult custoner and they stayed patient with me. Plus the selection, that still blows me away. Prices are definitely fair, if youre about to order somethin online just visit them. Hell, just visit them period.(I did this of my own free will, no one has coerced or forced this upon me. Im just a guy thats man enough to admit my mistakes). Side note their salt nic 50mg juice is very very good.

Ordinarily I love this place. I’m new to using vaporizers so am pretty clueless as to product assembly and the setup process . Originally I was told that the Suorin Air was the way to go for CBD oil (which helps tremendously with combat related ailments) I had many issues with constantly needing to replace cartridges and was subsequently told that using the Suorin product for CBD is ill advised. So I decided to buy a SMOK product which was significantly more expensive and when I asked for help setting it up, my request was met with some succinct comment about FDA regulation (even though the .gov site clearly says that shops can assist with such services). Anyway...big fan of the shop but disappointed in employees attitudes and being snubbed in most recent visit

Terrible customer service, used to patron their store frequently, have the reward points to prove it however the employees are snobbish and act as if their being put out of their way to answer simple questions about their products they offer.... I would rate higher for the selection of products, however there rude antics outweighs ( personally Id rate them zero stars)

If you want lazy employees who apparently dont know how the products they sell work, this is the place for you. Was having trouble switching out a tank, but all they would say is the FDA wont let them touch my product. I asked if they could talk me through it but that was far too much trouble for them. Have switched to the friendlier Smoke Shack.

Terrible service. The tall girl working did not bother to help me and even after I asked her where a product was, she just continued with what she was doing. Never came over to me to ask if I needed help. She made me feel like a nuisance so I left. 0/10

Its alwAys hit or miss. Lots of their employees are stoned af. Usually I dont have bad expirences and if I do have bad service I just leave, aint nobody got time for that.Usually I have excellent service though. I havent had anyone treat me like a nuisance in a very very long time. And they have an amazing selection for vape juice. And great prices as well!However the Norfolk shop is straight up in the hood. So I never come here. I believe Ive met the owner whom is nice. But if your paying with cash, and you dont have your id on u forget it. Even though its clearly mine and I clearly kniw the pin. Honestly this is the exact reason I dont even go there anymore.
