One of the nicest grocery stores to shop. Compact, clean, friendly, always can find what I need

This is a nice clean store with great management. It must be mandatory before hiring that you have to be kind and helpful because every person that works there is just that. I love going there. The manager is always visible and helpful. I would give it 10 stars. Im glad its in my neighborhood.

Great fresh breads and salad bar. They have a great selection of produce, kosher, gluten free, and organic foods at decent prices. Download the app to get extra specials.this location is clean and decent staff. The deli is always understaffed, usually a 10-12 min Wait.

Great place to go buy lunch. They have a salad bar and the fried chicken is delicious. They also have different kinds of soup at very reasonable prices. They also make good bakery items.

Farm fresh is clean, has a hot food bar, wing bar, and salad bar. Love that they have a decent sized Kosher foods section for our Jewish community. Prices are up n down - one things are better prices but its mostly average to Harris Teeter. Downsides, not always a great selection of brands, bakery has a sub-par selection for fresh baked goods

I am always happy to shop at the Ghent Farm Fresh, Aka, Gene Walters. The staff is always so friendly and Miss Lorraine in seafood is always stocking the freshest seafood no matter what the season. I enjoy shopping there.

I like that the veggies are somewhat fresh. Except peppers. They have decent prices and sometimes you can find good offers. The staff is nice and helpful. They have a vast beer selection. Some cool cheap wines. Nice KFC style chicken dinner and they sell ivazza coffee :)

Great prices on the organic and healthier stuff. Produce is good quality and selection. And they have a awesome meat dept.

Good selections of course from Farm Fresh. Clean store. But today I literally bagged my own groceries as the register next to me had the cashier and bag boy just standing there chatting about homecoming not doing anything but acting like they are cleaning the register. So not a good customer service experience today.

I just went in to get a few items. It was a quick and convenient stop. The cost of the items was worth it.

Grocery shopping for a few days of meals not a few items of convenience. Had to use self checkout. The weighted system was a slow disaster. Good thing I purchases several produces. Remember Food Lion closes at 10pm or spring for Harris Teeter if you need to do late night grocery shopping after a long day.Then in my unfortunate & foolish decision to go back ( they are really close to home) bananas packed with soda & peanut butter. They will are evil incarnate. Dont understand the positive reviews.

Ive been going to this particular location on 21st since its been open and Ive never had any major issues or anything that would cause me not to shop at Farm Fresh any longer until yesterday at 10:14am (to help narrow down the culprit because the mans name escapes me) I had the displeasure of talking to who I assume was the manager of the day after being transferred or put on hold by a nice young lady. I had been looking for boxes because I am moving some items into storage and in my experience with moving I have always gone to my local supermarket to get their extra boxes. The young man that I spoke to on Saturday told me to call Sunday in the morning to see how many boxes could be put aside for me but the person that I spoke to Sunday morning told me that wasnt the case because Farm Fresh recycled their boxes or got paid for them and it wouldnt be profitable to just give away boxes. I didnt argue with the guy but I was saying to myself if I (and all the other customers) didnt shop at this location there would be no boxes coming into the store for you to not give away. Moreover, for him to take that hardline and say its not profitable made me sick to my stomach but I was in search of boxes and didnt want to discuss it with him any longer. I just decided (because of hm) not to ever shop at Farm Fresh EVER again because if Im not worth a few boxes, then theyre not worth the hundreds of dollars Ive spent per month over many many years (which I use the app to prove it). Moreover, I went down the street which is 2 blocks further away to the competitor and they were more than happy to give me boxes and I dont shop there as much as I did Farm Fresh; But, that will change here in the very near future. I was so loyal to this company I even had the app but that has since been deleted and I just need other people to know that Farm Fresh doesnt care about you, they care about their profits. I hope that the person that said this can be identified because when I asked why did the gentlemen yesterday tell me something different and in a snide and condescending tone he said because that person was misinformed. Take care Farm Fresh because my hard earn money will now be going down the block to HT. I wonder how many other customers this person has caused to go to one of the many other competitors. #nomorefarmfreshforme

Its a clean decent place for shopping fruits, vegetables, bakeries, wine, etc. But groceries rest is little at more higher rates than the participating stores in town.

The staff is top notch. They are friendly and helpful. The General Manager, zMr. Shaw is always available for customers.This store carries many Kosher products.My only disparaging temark is....No Starbucks!!!

Some tall black guy beggin for change out front followed me in and walked around for a couple minutes looking at me out the corner of his eye. He pretended to buy something and went on with his business after I stopped and stared right back at him.Too much nonsense in this damn city and yet people wonder why nobody likes it here.

Usually pretty good sometimes some of the employees are a little rude but for the most part theyre good people its the closest store to my house so its very convenient

Came in for wiper fluid. They didnt have any. The store was nice though.

The only Farm Freshs that I know of in Tidewater area that has a kitchen with good ready to eat fresh meals. Ive always found most of the employees more then willing to help you.

Jesus Christ! If you dont have a receipt and need to return or exchange something, the managers put you through the 3rd degree like youre some sort of 2$ criminal. I thought I was on the witness stand trying to exchange a bag of flour! This particular store in Ghent has went down...not as clean and stocked as in past few years...younger, inexperienced, hot shot tryna make a name for myself managers took over and it shows in customer service and overall store appearance. Check expirations date on your groceries, thats what took me back there to exchange things that were already expired that they had shelved in the store and i didnt notice the bad dates until i got home and went to use the items...check dates on your groceries before leaving the store!!! I really dont enjoy shopping here anymore...Back to Harris Teeter and Fresh Market i go!

Im going to miss Farm Fresh, most of all the one on 21st St.

Customer service was terrible. In the paper and on the aisle it clearly states buy 3 get for 5. Customer service told us we had to buy the same chip and not mix. We had plain lays salt and vinger and reg Doritos. Smh they. Need to fix there system
