Went in for a 4 wheel alignment at noon on a Saturday. They got me in immediately. Rear wheels were within spec and only charged me for a 2 wheel alignment. Great to know there are still honest mechanics out there. Ill definitely be back.

Waited close to 20 minutes in the lobby area and no one assisted me. Two other people showed up after me and still no service, even with around four employees in the shop area. Every shop Ive been to provide timely service or at least greet you and check you in. Left shortly after; will not go back.

I, personally, had a very good experience at twin city garage! I had called about getting a quote on Tuesday and they said if I wanted to stop in just to talk about what needs done that I could do that! I was greeted with a smile & didn’t have to wait long to get help. Edis helped me with my quote & gave me a very fair price! They even could get me in the very next day! I picked up my car today & they were all sooooo nice to me! I am very happy with my experience! The only thing that turned my boyfriend off (he dropped me off to get my car), is that their worker was smoking inside the shop. We got home & he made sure my car didn’t smell of smoke. It definitely did not smell of smoke! I will still be giving twin city my business! The prices are fantastic, the guys were so nice(like I’ve never had car shop workers be so nice to me), & I wasn’t treated like the clueless girl when it comes to cars! Thank you twin city!! Had to have a transmission mount and engine mount replaced. Called, had a quote in 20min and an appt set for the next day!! Even better, price was the best around! Thank you Twin City!!

My A/C was blowing hot air, took it to Ford and they told me the rear A/C line was leaking and needed to be replaced and would be $1800 to replace it because its an all day job. Took it to Twin City for a second opinion to find out that it was just a gasket was leaking but the air compressor was broken which was the main problem. Saved me about $700 altogether (actually more had Ford replaced the lines and THEN told me the air compressor was also broken). They are very transparent about the work they are doing and the costs associated on parts vs labor. Good people doing good work!

I’ve been to this location before for something minor like a battery cap earlier this year. I thought because it wa s family owned business they would show someCompassion but they have no customer service skills. I called and asked if they could look at my car because it was right next door, and I didn’t want to pay a tow truck for literally being less 500 ft away. My car was parked right behind Zen Express. 1 minutes walk I’d distance from the garage. I explained my situation to the son of the owner, he informed me that my timing belt was broken, asked for the mileage and basically told meIt would cost close to $2K-3K because of the labor and that it wouldn’t even be worth repairing. I was heartbroken and distraught. No interpersonal skills, no concern for a potential customer. I will never use this establishment. To tell someone that their car is basically “done” and that it is not even worth repairing and that I need a new engine??? I was at a lost. You don’t know my situation and neither did you care. If you were busy that day just say so, you did not have to put my car down. Horrible customer service skills

Very reasonable shop and they work fast. I needed my flywheel replaced along with few other problems. They got it dont within 24 hours. The father and son was very nice to me, and charged me a reasonable and affordable price.

I had my vehicle towed in because it wouldnt start. It was the starter that i had replaced out of state at another garage not long ago. Twin City Garage is part of a nation wide network of repair shops that warranties their work. Twin City called and arranged for this to be covered by the supplier of starter and replaced it at NO charge to me. They have definitely earned a return visit next time my vehicle breaks down.

Bought a car from them. Check engine light came on after a week that I got it. Took it to them and they said they fixed it. Next day the light came on again, same problem. Took it to them and they said they have to order a part and to come into the shop in few days. Came back and they said for some reason the order for the part was canceled. So they basically put a bandage on it and said to come back in a few days while they reorder the part. A couple days later the check engine light came back on and I was waiting for them to call me about the part. They never called, So I decided to call and asked them when the part was coming in and they hang the phone up on me. So I took it back into the shop and they didn’t say a thing about the phone call the day before and once again they said they fixed and to no surprise the light came back on. They first said it was a bad sensor then it was the throttle body. Don’t buy a car from them and go somewhere else!!

In my 50 years of driving and having my cars repaired, I have experienced a variety of mechanics. From backyard mechanics to overpriced Franchises it has been an effort in futility. But I am happy to say I found the best auto repair shop ever. Mechanics are excellent and they have the latest equipment. Combine that with excellent rates and honesty gives the combination we all look for in an auto repair shop. I give them 6 stars!

So I ordered new tires from discount tires and the dealership failed to give me the key for the locking lugnuts took it over to twin city and Ranko was able to get the 4 lug nuts off in 20 minutes or less.thanks to him and twin city I was able to get back over here and get my new tires since superior auto mall in Chenoa felt new tires were not needed when selling a car

These guys did an awesome job with my car. I had it back in 2 hours, expecting to be car-less for at least a day. They knew exactly what was wrong the minute it was towed in. A little pricy, but worth the relief of getting help and knowing it was done right. They are professional, but personable. I hope I never have to go back, but if I need to, I’d be glad to take my business here!!!

Both of our vehicles have been well maintained but are around 10 years old and inevitably need repairs. We were referred to Twin City by our tire shop and have been very pleased.The shop always feels busy but focused and well choreographed, not harried and stressed.When the vehicle was drivable and parts needed to be ordered, they told me to just come back the next day and they got me in quickly to do the repair. Ive also used their key drop to leave a vehicle overnight. When Ive understood a problem well enough to do my own diagnosis, their diagnosis was on target and labor charges were quite reasonable, especially for their level of service. On items that were more of a mystery to me, I understood the problem and solution after Twin City looked at it, and some of the solutions were inexpensive.

Well, I tell you what people of Bloomington-Normal...these mechanics here at Twin City Garage are without a doubt the MOST FAIR, HONEST, GENUINE group of guys that sincerely care about the safety of your vehicle!Ramko, Edis, Gus, and the rest of the guys at the shop will tell you exactly what you need BEFORE they start to work on your vehicle, not only that...they are so kind and friendly that (if you ask) they will allow you to walk into their garage and ACTUALLY SHOW and EXPLAIN to you exactly what is the issue with your vehicle. It’s unreal, no tricks or hosing going on here whatsoever! So, I tell you what...if you are new to this area and you want a place to go to get your car looked at or fixed....do yourself a HUGE FAVOR and go to Twin City garage. HANDS DOWN CHEAPEST garage in town...and just because there prices are low and cheap, does not in any way mean that they are short on “quality!” Truth be told, these guys are “experts” on unique foreign makes and models, so there is no vehicle that they won’t be able to fix. Went to get Spark Plugs Changed tried to charge me $1000 to change a part that’s not even on the Car took it to my mechanic got the job done for $160 I agree they try to replace parts or tell you they’re replacing parts they aren’t going to replace and overcharge

Great guys! Family business. I discovered my wheel bearing was shot while having my tires changed. The owner let me bring my car in with 10 minutes to close. He then proceeded to show me on his computer screen what parts I needed, I could see the prices, then told me with labor total cost. He had the parts driven over immediately and fixed the bearing on the spot. Where else can you have that done? Will go back again.

Gave quick and accurate service

They were good, had a problem with my radio, they fixed it and i went on my way. But my radio has been acting up afterwards. Sometimes even if you pay a lot you get a half done job (edit) found out that they took a shortcut and wired the power relay to my headlight sensor. Not a big problem, but please do be cautious when working with these people

Everything I paid them to repair has had to be repaired again. This includes an engine replacement that was supposed to be tight as a drum which, suspiciously, has the same problems it had before. They were closed and when they reopened we were told all warranties were too old. We spent so much money there followed by even more having things redone that now it is just more cost effective to give up my car than to continue trying to fix it.

Don’t go here there are trash company they fix parts that don’t need to be fixed and then they try to screw you out of your money not to mention they Refused to give me a receipt. So if you want to waste your money go here! Sorry not sorry it’s the truth. They are going to say they fixed it but in reality they did not fix my car properly. I took it to Ricks Garage and they showed me what they did wrong. On top of that my engine cap is missing and it wasnt before I took it here. They claim to not have it but I know they do. Be careful coming to this garage.

I am the owner of a 2012 Chevy Cruze. Last week, my check engine light came on and I went here to have it diagnosed and fixed because it is very close to my place of employment and was convenient to drop off and pick up before and after my shifts. The original diagnoses were that there was a valve problem - fine. I told them that ordering the online part and replacing it would be fine -- but turns out this was not. The part was not installed correctly and each time I would drive away - in less than 1 mile the check engine light would come right back on. After taking my car back FOUR TIMES with the same issue, I decided to go to the dealership to get the problem fixed. At the dealership, they had told me that the valve was installed incorrectly and the seal was not tight enough, making air leak out of it and then, in turn, damaging my crank seal. The dealer identified additional issues and mentioned that because the part was installed incorrectly - my engine could have exploded. Twin City also replaced my 02 sensor which was irrelevant for the code that the check engine was producing. The dealership ended up replacing my crank seal, the valve cover, doing a fuel system cleaning, a coolant flush and replaced my water pump. When I went into Twin City - the owner was back-handedly apologetic but only made excuses because the part was online. When I showed them all of the additional work that was done at the dealership - both the owner and the son mentioned that I was ripped off and all the dealership did was replace the valve cover. Instead of providing me a full refund that I deserve and I should have gotten, I did get a partial refund for both the valve as well as the labor. Instead of really understanding and making everything was kosher with me, they decided to make excuses because it was an online part - and admitted no fault. In my opinion, the most important part of the customers experience is treating the customer with respect as well as admitting fault when it is appropriate. I was very nice and understanding the entire time, but was disappointed that a full refund wasnt provided given my terrible experience. I wouldnt recommend because it is clear that the mechanics are unable to identify and fix the problem correctly the first time. Having to return over 4 times to their location for the same problem is unacceptable.

Horrible service. Twin City Garage has been working on my truck for 4 months for a simple motor swap. Truck is in worst condition then when I dropped it off. When put in drive windshield Wipers come on. Odometer stopped working, transmission will not shift gears. Told the owner to leave the old motor to the side and went back yesterday and motor is stripped of parts.Wiring harness is connected to old motor that is supposed to be on the new motor. Horrible service would not recommend anyone to do business there. Even told owner to refund my money and I will take my truck to different shop.Owner refused to refund money. Called normal pd out to assist With getting my truck back but they said it was civil. On top of that ramko or Ramidus wat ever name he decides to give the owner told the pd I was band from the property. Pd stated I can’t be band without being served papers. And one of the cops referred me to some state agencies to assist with getting my property back so now I have several complaints in with these agencies now it’s a waiting game. Crazy part about it all my receipts say paid in full so that means he’s illegally holding my property. Save your self the headache and do not do business with Twin City Garage.
