Biggest waste of time. Their own website had a new car at one price and came in to find it marked up over $6000 and tried to blame the lower price on a third party web developers mistake. They also dont advertise that their price will always go up on all their cars by $2500 due to a mandatory protection package. If you feel like dealing with people that dont take responsibility for their mistakes, dont try to make it right and mark up prices once you are in the door then this place is for you. If not, stay far away... I know I will.

I purchased a vehicle early July. The process went rather smoothly. I paid in full and was told the title would be mailed to me within 4-6 weeks. I called after 6 weeks because I hadn’t received it and was told that they are slower than normal getting them out. I waited 4 more weeks and called back and was told at that time that they never had the title for my vehicle and had been working on getting a new one, which was coming in any day and would be mailed to me. I waited two more weeks and at this time, have left messages with multiple people, emailed a manager, and have chatted with two people via their website. I am always told that they will look into it and call me back, but that has not yet happened.

Simple oil change and tire rotation. In processing was fast, work time was reasonable(~45 min), price is on the high side but I will oay more for Subaru trained/insured even with simple services.

We had a great experience today purchasing a Certified Pre owned Crosstrek: the car was top notch and pricing was the best around. They also have a HUGE inventory to browse and select the right vehicle. I also want to recognize Joseph and Chris Mataya as the management team involved with the sales process. Shady dealer with fake reviews.I called from Michigan inquiring about a Subaru WRX, the lady said she will provide a lot of information soon, never did. Another guy messaged me, never heard back from him.Finally I called them again, and the guy was ranting about how good their protection package was.They want a 5k markup + 2.5k markup protection package, which I asked both sales people about the markup and they said it was price as listed, except the 2nd salesman told me about the protection package.Do not overpay for your car.That is almost 30% over MSRP.

I was so impressed with the help I received from the Bloomington/Normal Automallparticularly Justin Baldwin. I live 20 miles away and after leaving the vet in Normal I realized something was wrong with my Suburus back tire. I literally came up on the Automall. Even though I purchased my car elsewhere Justin set me up. Within the hour my spare was put on, they did a point inspection & washed my car at no charge! Justin gave me 2 estimates for replacement tires as well. I was so awed by the experience that Im switching my auto service from East Peoria Suburu to The B/N Automall. I went online to read reviews, after reading reviews I was a little nervous to be honest about the car and dealership, but a great sales by the name of Z. Introduced himself to me and reassured me, that this is a great dealership as he went out of his way to take care of me and my purchase. After speaking to Z. I didnt feel any pressure that dealerships try to put on you . I informed Z. that I was pre-approved and after that he offered to shop me around be beat my credit union rate, but I declined and to my surprise Z. never brought it up again, (now thats shopping without pressure). Z. was very knowledgeable about the car a his job (great work), but as a whole this in a great place to do business with and I would highly recommend it, 👍 👌

We needed emergency service on April 6 due to a computer alert as we were returning to Duluth, MN from South Carolina. Our computer alerted us as to a possible issue though with contact with our dealer in Duluth we may have been able to drive. I had a low oil light come on late Friday afternoon. I could not believe the great service without an appointment. I drove in and was out in 20 minutes with the oil topped off and the recommendation that I get the original pcv valve replaced next oil change. Justin paired me with Chuck who checked things out, topped oil off and recommended the valve. GREAT JOB!

I just called again and requested to talk to someone no voicemails and I still got a voicemail box!!Came in to trade my Jeep for a New Subaru. They were wonderful, worked with me to come to a deal that benefits both of us. Financial process was fast. Even got to peel the plastic!

We were on vacation when a a slew of warning lights lit up on our Subaru Forester. We werent far away and showed up unannounced. Everyone from the service writer to the lead technician was more than helpful. A quick diagnostic showed a minor issue and we were soon good to go. All this less than an hour before closing time. For us it was the difference between stranded for the night or making another 400 miles in our cross country vacation. These guys are the real deal.

Took my Subaru in for some maintenance and diagnostics. What a mess. Horrible communication- tried calling multiple times & never got calls back, even when trying to scheduling the maintenance. Had to go into the dealership to get an update after days of calling and leaving voice messages because the service department wouldnt answer calls. Then was told (on two separate occasions) that they couldnt find the leak we were looking to be fixed, so we wouldnt have to pay for the diagnostic charge. Of course when we came to pick up the car, it was on the invoice. To be fair, they did take the charge off after being pressed, but want us to come back at 500 miles to recheck & will charge us then. They did let us use a loaner car, but we had to ask for it after we went back into the shop to check on my car after days of no communication.Aside from the communication, it seems that the repairs were done well. But still, would not recommend their service and would not go back. Managing customer expectation is part of providing good service- and they should not promise what they cant deliver.

Everyone was very polite and supplied me with a nice temporary driver....my car was purchased in January of 2021....it was an unusual problem with noise that sounded like a chain rattling....they called Subaru and got it diagnosed quickly....took a couple of days for parts.....but it solved the problem!Thanks for a positive resolution!

An unexpected error and dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree led our family to the friendly services of Subaru Bloomington Normal. Fortunately, the head tech on staff was willing to take quick look and accommodate our situation to assess it was probably holding the steering wheel at more than 10 degrees or a hefty gust of wind that led to the hiccup in the over conscious safety-minded engineers at Subaru. I worked in the insurance/financial services industry for over 36years. An industry where great, consistent customer service was a differentiator in the marketplace. I’ve always been thrilled when I observe or experience first hand, outstanding customer service. I make it a point to recognize the individual & business operations as well as share it with friends & family. Unfortunately, the good experiences are far fewer than the poor experiences.On 6/7/21, my daughter was visiting from Colorado. Being a good father, I planed to clean and detail her Subaru Forester prior to her departure back to Colorado. While cleaning the vehicle I noticed an issue with a lug bolt on her front wheel. I thought, I’ll just call Subaru of Bloominton and see if they could get the car in for inspection & repair and while at it, just the oil.Upon contacting the dealership, I was informed they would get me in to look at wheel since safety issue. The oil change was not possible due to being already booked out 2-3 weeks. So I drove to shop, talk to service rep who ask Master Tech - Jason to take a quick look at the wheel. He explained after a thorough inspection of the wheel lug what the issue was and what repairs were required. He had overheard me explaining to service rep that it was my daughter’s car and I was trying to get oil changed and wheel serviced before her drive back to Colorado. Jason told the shop rep, if they bring car into a specific bay, he’d knock out repair & oil change plus inspect vehicle for a concerned father in less than an hour. Which he did, plus educated me on importance of using Subaru replacement filters & parts. He showed me why after market parts fail such as oil filter & filter ring. In comparison to Subaru parts. All extremely helpful. Jason even did a quick assessment of the vehicles brakes and other major components which gave me tremendous peace of mind!I was so impressed by this shop’s gesture & service I received on such short notice. I have never had a reason to use the Subaru dealership until this situation. So for noting being a current/ regular customer, for not knowing a soul at this shop, for dropping in at last minute when they were already busy, etc……I was just blown away by the professionalism, courtesy, caring customer service I received! It was truly a remarkable & impressive experience!I can’t thank everyone involved enough with my experience at the dealership! I apologize for not remembering the service rep that I first met with and the parts Dept manager. But Jason, the Master Tech I will never forget. He is an outstanding employee & representative for this Subaru dealership. Job well done!! Thank you!!

I bought a brand new 2020 Subaru Ascent in August 2020. I paid for a service within my financing to receive oil changes and maintenance for so long, was told I would receive a coupon booklet for these services. Have never received. Have called the dealership MULTIPLE times since August. Always put thru to voicemail or told that they sent out emails and that I would hear from someone soon. I have never heard from anyone. Very deceiving dealership. I would not recommend to anyone that I know to go here.

I just bought a Subaru Outback, and had the best car buying experience ever. It was all thanks to the salesman I worked with, Brett. I have been looking for a new car for a while. One Saturday I went around Bloomington-Normal and test drove at 6 car dealerships. My last stop was at Subaru, and it was an amazing way to end the day. Brett truly is amazing! This is the 5th car I have bought in my life, and he is by far the most considerate, kind, caring, and patient car salesmen I have encountered. He is very authentic and was real with me. He was focused on helping me find the right car for me, and did not pressure me at all! I left that day not buying a car and needed to figure out a few more things before committing. I emailed Brett a few days later with some questions and received a response 10 minutes after I emailed. I was shocked on how quickly he got back to me! I later decided Subaru was best car for me. When it came to buying the car, I told Brett what I could do and he made it happen. Usually I have experienced a lot of back and forth, back and forth. I didn’t have that in this situation. He gave me a tour of the service area and told me all of the benefits/perks I have, and what I need to do when I bring the car in. Every car I have bought before this car I have felt guilty or uncomfortable afterwards because of how rushed or insincere the dealers were. In this case, I have no regrets. A big reason why is because of Brett!
