I started online with Verizon chat which was very helpful determining how to add a line to my existing plan and port over from AT&T, but pickup options were limited and I didnt want it shipped as my old phone was dead. Decided to go to a corporate store. First I had to wait outside which I get in the pandemic. But theres 3 staff inside, one is with a single customer, the other is in the back room leaning against the counter with the door open seemingly doing nothing, and another appears also from the back. She sees us and believe me... takes her dandy time coming to the door and receiving us in. On her leisurely stroll over to the front door she stops at her desk... dusts off a display... really takes her time. She then opens the door to tell us they are understaffed (currently a 3 to 1 ratio) and that they check you in and have you wait in the car until someone is available. I wait in the car parked directly in front of the store and watch as the ratio doesnt change, and she returns to her leisurely cruise around the store... playing around and doing nothing. She then sits at a desk, does nothing for a while, wipes down the sneeze shield barrier, and decides she may be ready to work and take money from a customer begging to open his wallet to correct a problem and so I watch her pick up her phone and call me. Her tone is still lower than casual, mostly tired, bored, and uncommitted, and we come in. Of course the exact ratio of service to customer hasnt changed. Suddenly they have enough staff to handle it. I needed to port over that phone from AT&T and didnt have an account pin which the original online agent said wasnt a problem, they would process it and AT&T would call to authorize the port. Well in store this agent said quickly she couldnt do that in between acting bored and tired. All the while she had a complete fascination with my left arm amputation as if shes never seen a disability in her life. I turned around, walked out, reconnected on chat and forced myself to accept waiting for the new phone to come with shipment. Ive never experienced a company that is so resistant to having me give them money. And Ill never step foot inside that North Haven store again for their complete disrespect towards the customer. I then get a call down the road from a different staff member telling me oh, hes ready for me now, also tired and short, because she didnt remove me from the service list. Took it right to the corporate level, of course nothing will happen and Ill never hear from anyone. They cant act like they dont have my phone number...

Going into this visit, I was going to give two, maybe three stars. Waited over 30 minutes after initial sign in to be seen when there were total 4 customers in the store aside from myself, where there were already seen and waiting at checkout. I came in to complete a trade in, which went very smoothly when Dave came over who I had seen two weeks prior about the trade in. He was very nice, hospitable, and made the experience a whole lot better.

I visited the Universal Drive store on a busy Saturday, after having a less-than-positive experience via phone while trying to unfreeze my phone and install an update. Adaeze was personable and courteous, and took care of the issue in short order. To top it off, I wasnt harassed to replace my phone (which is on the ancient side!) or make any other purchases. This place is the absolute worst customer service i really dont understand how they even stay in business. I went here for a simple sim card and I had no phone waited 30 minutes before anyone even looked at me. Then once I was acknowledged they told me to sit and wait even longer I sat there for 50 minutes still nothing and they employees I n there moving like sloths literally. This is the absolute worst customer service experience ever. They should just close the doors. Xfinity phone service here I come.

Waited over 15 min for help. Nobody acknowledged me at all. The environment was very impersonal. I eventually decided to leave. This is not the Verizon I came to love despite the old staff having moved on. I am disappointed but feel forced to come to this location due to its accessibility. You cannot change what corporates vision, but you can certainly do something different with the environment thats portrayed.

I sought service at the Verizon store on universal drive in North Haven, Ct two times recently, the first to have my phone data transferred from my old phone. Timkin was the service provider who helped me. He was excellent, positive and willing. On my second visit, I had my screen protector installed by another excellent service provider, Korina, who did a flawless job of putting the screen protector on the phone....perfectly lined up and NO BUBBLES. She was also supportive, friendly and willing. This Verizon store is the best I have ever sought service, not only for this visit, but also for others in the past. They are timely and most willing to help with any service requested. I highly recommend the North Haven, Universal Drive Verizon store for any needs related to your smartphone.

Tried to call the store to resolve a problem where I have been unable to get Verizon to honor its commitment to issue a refund for a broken device that I returned to them. Instead of Verizon issuing a refund, they instead doubled my bill. A local Guilford store referred me to this north haven branch. I tried to call this store, and was unable to get through. My only recourse will ultimately be to bring suit as I cannot get anyone in either a store, or over a telephone to help.

I went into this store with my parents to upgrade my mother’s phone. My mom was excited to upgrade her phone as her current phone was a Samsung galaxy note 4 (2014)!The saleswoman greeted us at the front door right away. However, she started to answer my questions way too quickly. As she discovered that we were interested in Verizon’s promotional sale of the iPhone X s max, she began to rush our sale.At end of the day, she sold us a brand new phone. After looking at the receipt in-store, I noticed that the charged amount was over the Verizon deal price (tax included). She informed me that the sales tax was based on the original phone price and not on sale price.As I was walking out of the store with my parents, the receipt still didn’t make sense as the math did not add up. We quickly returned into the store to question the extra fees. The saleswoman stated that the extra fee was the upgrade charge. We stated that we were disappointed that she never explained all these things before charging us. She proceeded to claim that she did and she was “doing this for 8 years” and would not forget to mention these things.After leaving the store, my family and I felt very dissatisfied with this store’s customer service. I don’t recommend this branch because of their poor customer service.

The staff seems to be working on their own time. Each time my husband and I stops in to get something done we have to wait forever. The customer service sucks. I loved going to the West Haven location am sorry they moved out to Milford. It seems as if they never have enough staff on duty.

This is a real Verizon store. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helps with all your questions. There is sometimes a bit of a wait to get help but it is very organized and you check in when you get there. They have an extensive selection of phones and cool gadets. I prefer this store above all the others I have been to.

This is a horrible place. The manager Shauna is not interested in helping people - solving problems - moving forward. She is only interested in two word answers and alleged rules. I bought a phone online for in store pick up. I sent my son to the store with the receipt that had been emailed to me. Even though I was 20 miles away, she demanded that I drive to the store with the card I used. She didnt want to verify it was me, didnt want to check my account - she just wanted me to stop what I was doing to come to the store. When I showed up, fuming, all she did was give me two word answers and say those are the rules. There are always exceptions and if youre a customer spending more than $250 a month for 14+ years - and buying a $700 phone at least once a year - sorry, you should try to helpful especially if your alleged rules are for my protection. She did nothing. When I tried to cancel the new phone, she wanted to charge me $50 for a phone she never gave me or my son. When I said I wanted to make changes to my account - she told me I had to call a customer service rep. This is the worst store ever. I have canceled two of my six lines so far; canceled the $700 phone and Im shopping for my next carrier - somebody who knows customer service and provides it. Verizon and this store in particular is not it.

It was fine. I had to insist that a second line could be added to my dual SIM iPhone XS. Finally they stopped telling me it probably wouldn’t work and actually tried setting it up. It did work and didn’t take very long.

They have your address and your credit/Debit information. Manager is aware of this scam and kept the employee(s)

Do not buy a phone from this store and especially from J.P. We specified over and over what we needed and after spending over $1000 on all kinds of cases and shields, the phone crapped out at 3 weeks old. J.P. did not take responsibility for selling us the wrong phone,(his name is on our receipts) and then went out of his way to avoid our phone calls. The last we heard was his wife was on the other line and he had to go pick up his kids hed get back to us...that was 8 days ago. Bottom line, he got his commission and didnt need us anymore. The phone was not even 30 days old and Verizon will not do anything for us. We are done with them when our contract is up

I had such a great experience there last week! I had an unusual issue with transferring my number to Verizon. Bert (sales rep) and Pamela (manager) spent an hour investigating what the issue was until we got it resolved. Not even the customer support over the phone could figure it out. They also got me a great deal on the Google Daydream VR. I walked out of the store very happy. So glad I switched back to Verizon.

Had a problem with a brand new phone out of the box. I realized right from the beginning I would have a better chance of my 11 year old resolving my issue than this guy. When his co-worker saw he was lost in space she interjected and seeing my frustration said “sir no one who pays a company a monthly fee is ever happy with their provider.” Is this what corporate trains her to say? Her other solution was to pay off the remaining balance on s brand new phone and buy another. I thought I was on a hidden camera show but I didn’t see a camera crew anywhere... scary place!!!

I needed a new Android to replace my Moto. As a non techie 70 year old, I appreciate the sales representative (Gabe). He was exceptional..patient, respectful, and knowlegeable. He assesed my needs and took time showing me a number of options.We easily spent an hour until I settled on a Samsung Galaxy S 10.He then took time teaching me what I needed to know. Happy with product and service.Later that week I had trouble with a game. Another rep very helpful in correcting the problem.Also got excellent deal because of a Verizon sale.

Got to the store about 15 minutes after it opened and it there were about 7 or 8 people there already, but only one person at the desk and one more waiting on customers. Waited over 30 minutes and noticed the one person working on the floor was still waiting on the same people since I had been there. As I was walking out, two more employees showed up but didnt immediately start work. They insisted I would be next so I came back in and after another wait of 10 to 15 minutes someone tried to solve my problem, ie, getting my i phone xr to download emails. This is a common problem with these phones according to the internet sources I consulted, yet the employee seemed to have no idea it existed. While he was trying to figure it out, I solved my own problem and left.

The crew in the North Haven store are great. That location is pretty busy most of the time, so depending on when you go you may have a little wait, but once you get to the counter, the service you get will more than make up for the wait.

The salesman was drunk. My wife and I went to the store today to switch my wife and step son to Verizon from att. I been a customer of Verizon for 14 years. We waited a bit then when it was our turn. We walked up to the counter to the salesmen guy. He was very out of it not listening to what we were saying he kept invading my wifes personal space and when we left my wife said she smelled booze on his breath.This is the details of the event.

I was there two separate occasions the first occasion they try to sell you stuff to go with the phone that you dont need at a high price then they say they are going to give you a discount when they really dont, the second time I was in there I had an awful experience with the salesman who was very rude I guess once you buy the phone they dont want to know anything about you anymore I certainly will not be shopping at this Verizon store ever again

So I was in the area to purchase a replacement charger since Joe from the new store in Milford off the Boston Post Rd had no interest in assisting the customer on tbat visit (see their review from me) I was greeted with a hello how may I help you from by Chuck the Solution Specialist June 18, 2017 he asked me what brought me there I showed him explained my issue with my charger he was attentive took some information for verification reviewed my account and replaced my charger at NO CHARGE. Fyi the other rep at other store could have text me for verification while my family member was in their store..My business in the new Milford store they will NEVER GET. Thanks Chuck of North Haven Universal Drive customer service is everything even it means to pay or free...My experience with Antonio aka Tony was exceptional my son and him also had a excellent encounter at the store on June 26, 2017.Tony did a wonderful job. My experiences from this location a week apart was great. I am big customer service and your team brought it yet again Chuck last week and Tony this week. Keep up the good work. I will be reviewing you guys on Yelp and Google etc.

Brought in old phone to exchange for a new one. After we purchased the phone we were told that we had to make an appointment with a tech online for a data transfer. We were told that the transfer would not be done in the store. We did the transfer at home which took three techs and seven hours on the phone.

Service was ok. The sales person was nice but she clearly didnt know the product. I wouldnt have had a problem with this because im assuming that she was new. Everyone has to start from somewhere... But she was giving me bad information about the product that had to be corrected by another sales person. If you dont know, just say you dont know and ask someone that does.

I have been with VW since 2002 and always considered it to be the best wireless network which combines quality, costumer service, etc. The costumer service through the years has been a very positive experience. I always came to this particular store for technical issues and always was getting a thoughtful and courteous associate who would take time and solve an issue. NOT ANYMORE.My phone couldnt connect to data, lost all the photos and videos and was getting an annoying message popping up every second. I went there on Wednesday, August 29th, at 10 am to get help. Immediately I noticed a different vibe in the room and the associates who simply did not care. I explained, the associate spent couple minutes trying to press some keys, etc., doing it quite rough which had surprised me, and said that I needed a new phone since there is nothing can be done with this one.OK, I thought, if I am told in the official VW wireless store there was nothing to be done to fix the phone, so it be! Next day I got a new phone at BestBuy and activated it at the store. By the way, the associate who did it expressed his dissatisfaction that it had not been done at BestBuy and he had to do it.The same day, I started googling my issue with the old phone and found the solution called Hard Factory Reset. So I did it. THE PHONE WORKED LIKE NEW. ALL THE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS AND EVERYTHING ELSE CAME BACK (SIM CARD).How in the world it was possible that Ive been told there was nothing to be done to fix my old phone? How low can the VW costumer service at the stores fall to even imagine such situation?I must say that after I called the VW I got the best service and understanding I could ask for. They apologized for unprofessionalism of people in the store and suggested I try to return the new phone to BestBuy. So I did having pain a $35 restocking fee wich was credited back into my account.BRAVO to the Verozon Wireless phone consumer service and SHAME to the store in North Haven.By the way, on Wednesday, after I got rejected in North Haven, I went to Milford with the same result.
