I was in the store yesterday my bike was making a noise soon after I started riding I had no idea why. I bought this bike when I moved to Dublin and I ride every once in a while down the trails but somewhere I picked a fishhooks and I couldn’t see where it was jammed in probably because of my glaucoma but these guys found the problem removed it and was texting me within 15 minutes or less to pick up my bike I was so not myself not being able to figure this out myself or see it, these guys are very kind and very generous thank you for your good customer service………

MY go-to place for bike maintenance and repairs. Ive been biking to work down town for years. They make it easy to drop your bike off just before work, and you can usually pick it up on your lunch break.

The Uptown BART Bike Station is a great resource for the community and makes biking the area more accessible. This shop offers bike parking, rentals, and repairs as well as has basic bike accessories for sale. I visited the shop for repairs and the staff is kind, honest, and diligent. The cost of materials and labor was very affordable and my bike was turned around faster than the quoted time.

This is a really under the radar shop. I’ve had city bikes and road bikes worked on here. Always honest service, clear explanations, and reasonable prices. Yesterday, dropped my sworks off, needing some derailleur work. It was complete same day, less than quoted bc they found only a portion of what I’d thought needed work.

The staff person was very friendly and helpful. I was having some issues worth my bike making noise when I rode and he were able to give me a simple fix.

Wow; the best bike service Ive had in 8 years of biking in the Bay Area. These people clearly care about bikes and their riders.They understand that their customers are price conscious, and dont force repairs on you. Ive yet to find another bike shop that so perfectly balances safety with budget awareness. Most err so far on the side of caution (and doing more work on your bike) that they strongly recommend extra parts be replaced when theyre just somewhat used. This bike shop explained the risks associated with continuing to ride on certain used parts, but also was totally fine with letting us make that decision ourselves if we wanted to save some money. They neither over nor under sensationalized the issue, which is unusual.Our bikes feel good after the service, the price was cheaper than Ive been used to in San Francisco, and I get the strong sense that these people just care. Its rare to find honestly earnest people running a retail shop, but these people went out of their way to save us money, while doing great work on our bikes. I also got to see them handling other customers, and they all seemed to get this same depth of care. I cant wait to go back and see what they can do with my other bike!

Love this place. They keep our bikes safe and maintain a chill vibe. I think theyre closed now, they were closed yesterday on 3/19/2020.

Not only fixed my bike in a timely manner, but they taught me how to fix it myself next time. 10/10

Thurston was incredibly helpful - he adjusted my seat, added WD40 to the rusty area and wiped it down for me. After that he shared useful knowledge about bike maintenance and pumped up my tire. I haven’t had this kind of service in other shops in Oakland. The next time I need new equipment, I know where I am coming.

I used to come here few years back maybe 2017 and always got my tires fixed for a great price and now suddenly they charge DOUBLE and charge tires separately! I dont know who would pay $40 for a simple 10-15 min job

Was in area on Wednesday. Went in to see if I could get a handle for my cane. They fixed my cane up with a handle they made. They wouldnt accept any money from me. They are the best. I am disabled in a wheelchair. The shop with a heart.

Roll in and get free valet bike parking M-F during commute hours. They dont fill up until 9:05 or so. They can also fix and tune your bike while youre at work. Convenient location and friendly employees. Only wish they opened on weekends too!

Finally, a normal bike shop! not super high end that it has no parts and not so small that it has no parts. just a basic shop, for my 25y/o folder. thx!

Nice and clean. Mostly working crowd. Evening crowd more varied. Paramount theater, Fox theater, restaurants, coffe shops, uber building near by. First Friday of the month there is a popular farmers market and street vendors.

Friendly, open late, fairly priced. An amazing resource for the biking community in Oakland.

Super helpful. Bought a tire and tube today and they helped me find a very odd tire size and a tube that was in the right price range without da riding quality.
