I have tried to contact the GM, service manager, etc. and no one will return my call or email. The service department leaves your car filthy, they don’t answer the phone, they lie to you about what they have done. This place is completely unprofessional. I feel like a fool for buying a very expensive car from this place. Would not recommend!!
Was helped by a nice gentleman named Jacob. I didn’t end up purchasing a vehicle but he was there helping me browse and answered every question I had. He has wonderful customer service and hospitality.
Friendly enough personnel around the place, but the fact they shoehorn add-ons and other fees (This same package is mentioned in multiple reviews) that SHOULD be optional left a bad taste after a couple of attempts to secure a decent deal. I went elsewhere.

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!! This dealership cares only about selling the car, They act friendly until you sign the initial paperwork but once that is done they submit inflated finance numbers to the banks to take profits.Melanie is good at sweet talking you, no matter how frustrated the customer can get and keeps them waiting for hours bcz she cannot get her system to work. Melanie is the finance manager who is in-charge of the paperwork but is totally unaware on how and who entered incorrect numbers on our purchase agreement. She did not care to inform us that wrong numbers were put in our purchase agreement but instead my husband came to know through credit karma. I must say about Jacob, who says nothing about what is going on in the internal office while he sits with us for 3 hrs and kept bragging about how hard he works to get a 5 star review. Phil, the general manager who pretends to take complete ownership of his job and pretends to fix the issue, becomes unresponsive once he thinks he gained the trust of the customer. Then comes into play Kamal and Pat, one is out of town or responds rudely over the text and the other dodges our call. To sum it all up, they did an impeccable job in committing fraud by submitting loan paper work with inflated numbers and then dodges our calls/texts/emails. This dealership is going down hill, fraudulent ones do not last long. These are just a few words about everyone we dealt with here and I wish I could share more but I have word limitation on my review. I regret giving one star also, This dealership is not recommended!
My direct dealings were only with Mellissa, and my rating is based on that experience. She made a commitment to me and followed through exactly as she had promised. She was very professional and helpful. She followed up to be certain that the situation had been completed accurately and promptly.

Two months now and my issue has not been resolved.I previously had a great experience with this dealership but that has not been the case since the ownership changed. Any time I call, I am sent to someones voicemail. No one ever returns my call. If I ask for my situation to be escalated, Im just sent to a different voicemail. It has been over a month and my issue hasnt been addressed.

Went to go buy a new 2022 Sorento and found out that they automatically charge for a protection plan that cost over $4000 for the Sorento. They do this to every new vehicle thats on the lot and you cant remove this at all. Its not right to charge someone for something they dont want add to the price of a car.

Good Lord whatever you do don’t go here, I bought my car over a month ago and they messed up my original loan paperwork. They are now hitting my credit time and time again nearly a month later trying different banks without my permission. And they won’t answer their phone on any of the lines and keep switching me from loan officer to loan officer telling me that “they’re taking over the loan now” and then ignoring me after a day or twoDONT GO HERE THEY WILL SCREW YOU. They also are refusing to give me my military discount after they applied it on the first paperwork and then removed it on the second. DONT GO HERE SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE
I came to Olathe after having a horrible experience at Oakes in KCMO. Jacob S was a wonderful help. I left that day with a wonderful K5. After that, things went downhill. I was told a week later that Kia didnt make front license plate brackets for my car, and that most new cars dont have that option period (told to me by the sales manager). I live in Missouri, so obviously this was a concern. I went to Independence Kia and got a bracket for it, paid $35 for it for something that was on the we owe paperwork. I then found out that not only does the bracket actually exist, but Olathe had one in stock. Their service writer couldnt find it in the system. Ill give them some slack, they are a Kansas dealer, however, being as close as they are to MO one would think..I got the Elevate package added to my car at purchase. I was led to believe that evening that I needed to return to have it added to my vehicle at a later time. It was even on the we owe paperwork. I get told yesterday by the GM that it was already applied to my car. Not entirely certain which is true, but either way, its frustrating.There is a major, major lack of customer service here. The service writer told me that a car in the shop had been there a long, long time. It was a SUV with the motor pulled and disassembled. I understand that that kind of repair takes time, but surely not a long time.Jacob Skid and Melanie Vila are the only two I would consider as a positive. Melanie was very helpful yesterday. She actually took the time and listened to my concerns. She tried to get me some oil change vouchers, but I told her no. I dont want anything free. I want a dealership I can trust. I want to be able to bring my car in and believe that it will be taken care of properly. That it will be treated as one of their one. That is no longer the case at Olathe and I will no longer be bringing it back. Melanie is the only reason I give two stars.

Wont ever go to this dealership again. Tried to buy a 51k vehicle and they are forcing everyone to get a window, dent and tire package for 3k (You know the one that the finance guy always tried to sell you). The market is tough, so yes I understand paying MSRP but the amount of greed to force anyone buy something you dont want is astronomical.

I would not recommend doing business with this dealership. They charge a $700 document fee at the time of purchase which is higher than most other dealerships which are typically $300-$400. Also, they force you to purchase a $3200 convenience package that supposedly covers ceramic coating, interior protection, and a few other items. It is NOT an option. The package is there way of including a MARK UP on to the MRSP plus the sales tax, admin/doc fees. The entire staff was friendly but also seemed a bit young, immature, and unprofessional. The dealership also doesn’t add other perks such as a lifetime powertrain warranty or 2 years of covered maintenance services with the purchase UNLESS you are willing to pay extra $$.My wife and I left the dealership without purchasing a vehicle. We went to Oakes Kia in North Kansas City and the experience there was FAR MORE impressive. They had better pricing, far less markups, more rebate and discount programs, lifetime engine warranty and a 2 year service/maintenance program at no additional cost to the customer. Additional packages were available as AN OPTION and not forced upon the customer. The staff was also more professional, mature, and customer service oriented. Olathe Kia allowed us to walk and seemed content with ripping off the next customer. That didn’t happen at Oakes Kia. Oakes made more of an effort to keep our business and come to a mutual agreement on the purchase.Sorry…Brogden Kia. You are getting schooled and outclassed by dealerships such as Oakes Kia.

Car was towed in on Wednesday. We heard nothing from them so called Thursday evening and they hadnt looked at it. I accepted that they were busy. Friday, did not hear from them so I called again. On hold a long time to hear they had gotten the codes from car but did not have estimate. Monday mid day finally got a call with more codes and we need to replace engine for $8100!! We have no trust in them anymore. Couldnt even get a loaner and we have struggled and borrowed cars so I could get to radiation treatments. We had it towed to another facility.

Coming to a dealership is always an intimating and uncomfortable experience. But we were welcomed in at the entrance by a man named Kamal. we had to ask him a couple times about the name. He showed us around and was very knowledgeable about the models and statistics of the cars. It was refreshing to be shown and not pressured to buy every single thing. for once a good experience at a dealership.

This place is a scam. They over charge and mess up paper work. DON’T BUY FROM HERE! My friend bought her first car from here and Jacob took advantage of her and sold her an $8,000 warranty on an $18,000 car with less than 100,000 miles. They also mixed up her paper work and forced her into a car she did not intend to purchase after keeping her there for 10 hours!

The team at Robert Brogdens in Olathe is very laid back, friendly and honest. They took time to ask questions about what I was looking for, my price range and did not try to show me anything outside that price range or push me towards a purchase. After the purchase of my new Telluride, they followed up to make sure the car was running well and that I was happy with it. I had an issue with some of the features so I brought the vehicle in and they fixed it immediately; they didnt just complete the sale and move on. Great people to work with, I recommend asking for Kamal if you stop by.

Please look at all their negative reviews… This place is going down hill.My son in law took his car in to get the window fixed . They had the widow ( electric) rolled up when he got there. They told him he would need to replace the motor and it would be $600. He decided not to have them replace the motor because it’s too expensive. They went through the trouble of making sure to roll the window down before they gave him his car back. They just have aweful service. I suggest going to any other Kia except Olathe Kia.

I was always curious as to why they called it a Kia Soul now I that Ive been driving the one I bought off this lot for 3 years I know why! Slowly as you drive the car you slowly begin to turn into the car, yesterday I coughed up nuts and bolts, my ears fell off and have been replaced with side view mirrors, I dont know how much longer before I will need to start drinking gasoline to survive but I know that the day may soon arrive. 10/10 would drive to again. Great vehicles, great staff, wonderful cars.
The service department at Olathe Kia took really good care of me the day after Christmas.Zach and the crew provide stellar, friendly, informative mechanic service.I was in a bind with low tire pressure and my valve stem caps were stuck on the tires.The service crew got my Forte fixed up so I could drive home to Illinois safely.Other shops weren’t able to get me in that day. Olathe Kia was the first shop advising me to use correct plastic tire caps that won’t get stuck anymore. For some reason, no other shop had advised me of that.I highly recommend Olathe Kia service department.
Unfortunately, my experience here was negative. I preordered a vehicle do to lot availability and demand at MSRP. Everything was set up and until during the process the vehicle Ownership changed from the Outstanding Olathe KIA (where all the 5 star reviews are from) to Robert Brogdon Kia.All the previous Olathe Kia Administrative staff is now no longer with this KIA dealership.It is now Robert Brogdon KIA (a new and unique shop per the GMs words) they still sell at MSRP currently, however, they require EVERY vehicle that leaves there lot to include an Elevate Protection Package that is non cancellable and is a additional 5% upcharge on to any vehicle sold through them. Additionally, there Administrative processing charge is one of the highest in Kansas City, and can range up to and above $750.Regarding the Elevate Protection Package it seems very manipulative through how the contract is structured. Make sure to read the contract closely, as it appears that the Sales contract will show the 5% upcharge (which comes to thousands of dollars, possibly) and when you read the Elevate Protection Package Addendum, it will show a cancellation clause. However, the Elevate Protection Package Addendum will show a 1$ cost of the service rather than the 5% cost of the Protection Package (which would allow for cancellation). So, if you cancel the package you will only receive the prorated $1 back.People may enjoy this service, for Dents, Dings, Key Replacement and so I on, but, I see these as direct money maker for the dealership and I personally think it should be optional and cancellable as other dealers process similar protection packages.With this in mind, I have lowered my experience with the dealership and purchase (I did proceed with my purchase, since I do love the Kia vehicle I purchased) to two stars and I would recommend you visit other dealerships in Kansas City when you are looking for vehicles, so you do not occur this fees.

I have never had an experience at a dealership as pleasant as I have recently, the new Telluride surpasses the quality, reliability, abs craftsmanship of any German or Japanese car Ive ever owned. So disappointed in the vehicle we purchased. It was sold as used, one owner with less than 60k miles so we thought we were getting a vehicle with a lot of life left in it. Not a week in the transmission went out. Now, only a couple months later, we have it back in the shop AGAIN- check engine lights galore! It is such a Lemon and the only thing the dealer had to say was- oh thats too bad. Learn from the financial disaster we are dealing with and take your business elsewhere.
