Honestly super impressed with both the customer service and the vacuum itself, I didn’t buy it because it is a little expensive, but I can see why it costs so much because it can literally do anything! Avery and Devyn were amazing, I appreciated how kind they were and I felt they showed the vacuums ability’s super well. Would definitely recommend!

Avery did a very amazing job cleaning my vintage carpet and we had lots of fun pulling years worth of nasty dirt out. (that I did not know I had). He was a great sport and we experimented on lots of my household furnishings and turned it into a science experiment of finding the worst dirt! I would recommend this product and I really liked Avery!.

I really enjoyed the time Sadie put into explaining how everything on the vacuum works and the effort she put into cleaning my carpet! She was awesome. Unfortunately, because the vacuum is a little out of my price range right now, I was unable to purchase one, but I still really appreciated her dedication!

Fantastic company.Mark is a wonderful boss who has helped everyone achieve their goals and goes above and beyond for his employees. It’s nice to have a boss that truly looks to help and develop his team VS just wanting them to do their job and not taking a personal interest in them.The customer service he teaches his top itch and second to none. I’ve personally watched him go to plenty of customers and assist them in use of equipment and help when need be.Highly recommend working here if you’re looking for a high paying position that allows development and promotion.

Hello. I would like to give a 5 star review for the individuals who came to my home today and sold my family a new Kirby vaccuum cleaner. Most of all Sadie was and is absolutely outstanding!! Sadie not only sold my family a machine but she put on an unbelievable display of each and every feature provided. The entire group including Shadow, Scott and Kayden all were fantastic individuals. They were very respectful and we were happy to have them in our home. They were just like family. Especially Sadie, she is the greatest and Shadow as well.

If you need a Kirby product, or anything else they sell, be warned and look somewhere else where you will be treated with respect and kindness and will not have to deal with a self serving and childish manager. Our couch was damaged and ruined from a cleaning by two employees from this store using Kirby products. This review is not about those employees or the vacuum, although the employees should have been trained better. This is a review of the manager/owner, Mark Rogers. If he responds to this review, it will be of him saying why we are wrong and how he doesnt take responsibility, just as he has done in every single one of his previous responses to negative reviews. He is not willing to resolve issues if it doesnt serve him. The first four pictures are of the day that they cleaned my couch, the threads torn. the last picture is of now, the threads broken. Here is my story for context.Two employees knocked on my door and asked if they could clean either the floor in one room of my house or two pieces of furniture in our home using their Kirby vacuums and shampooer. I said we were not interested and they said they were not selling anything, just wanted to provide a cleaning service as this is their way of advertising. I again said no. Somehow the conversation got to that they dont get paid for their time from their employer unless they show that they did a cleaning. So I let them clean my couches.They were in my home for three hours and in this time they also did demos of how the vacuum works compared to my own vacuum. I wondered, why are they doing demos when they said they werent selling anything? In the process of them cleaning my couches they damaged them beyond repair. I called the business the next day and spoke to the manager, Mark Rogers. I told him what had happened from his employees and he gave me three options from him. 1) He would sell me a vacuum for $1100, 2) He would send someone to my house to clean all the floors in my home, or 3) he would send someone to evaluate the damage. First, I SHOULD NOT have had to pay a penny for anything, they should be paying me. And second, why would I let them back in my house to clean something else? We decided to have an estimate on the couches.I called an upholstery business and they told me that it was not repairable because the damage was done to the weave of the fabric. The only way to fix it was to reupholster the couch or to get a new couch. This is the estimate from them, Labor sofa $600. + fabric (avg $60 yd) and need around 22 yds. Labor loveseat $550. + fabric (avg $60. yd) and will needed around 16 yds. Fabric based on a solid, 54 w and no nap(like a velvet) or you may needed additional yards. So total $3430. + tax.The $3430 price is to fix both couches. To fix just the couch damaged with the figures provided would be $1510. I called back Mark the next day and said that we would like to go the route of each of us getting estimates. We told him our estimate, he called it ridiculous and got upset. He said he was not going to pay $3430. I told him to get his own estimate and we could negotiate from there. I suggested a fair price would be half of just the couch damaged, which would be $755. However, he was very obstinate and was not willing to listen to our suggestions. He just told us to take him to court. We did not want to take him to court, that wasnt the goal or the point. He wouldnt take accountability that his business damaged our property and refused to find a reasonable solution for both parties. After two days of back and forth conversation we came to an agreement of him paying $350. I felt that this was fair, however he also wanted us to sign an NDA, non disclosure document. Again, he was looking for what would only benefit him and that he wouldnt look bad. This did not settle well with us and we declined the offer of his payment. Mark, I truly hope that you are doing well and that you are treating those around you as you would want to be treated.

This vacuum does it all, literally. Essential for both carpet & hard wood floors. Josh was amazing and was so nice. Josh & his manager we’re understanding of the fact that we couldn’t purchase at the moment. They were kind enough to demonstrate how good Kirby was in our living room. They were both so sweet & energetic. I appreciated the fact that they weren’t pushy on my husband and I to purchase a Kirby. Timing was off and unfortunately we had to pass on the purchase.

Would not recommend working here unless you want to work 60 hour weeks knocking doors all day in the cold being an extremely pushy salesman and getting little to no breaks. My manager was very aggressive with the sales pitch he gave us which involved walking into strangers homes without asking permission. When I wouldn’t do this pitch he was upset with me although it was obvious the woman we were pitching to did not want us there and had already asked us to leave which just resulted in more and more pushing from my manager. A few doors later and a police officer pulled us over and told us he had gotten a call about aggressive overly pushy salesmen. We did not have a license to sell in that area and it could have gone pretty bad. On top of this they are not up front about it being an overtime sales job. They told me during the interview that it would be 10-8 shifts 50 hours a week but because everyone drives together and has to wait for appointments to wrap up you can expect to get off closer to 10 and work closer to 60 hours a week. If you’re extremely motivated about knocking doors all day in the freezing cold then pushing strangers around and making them uncomfortable enough to finally just let you in and do the pitch then this is the job for you and some of the reps do make great money. I only worked there for 2 weeks and made no money. I could have waited a few more days to get my first hourly check but it just wasn’t worth it pushing people and literally begging your way into homes to try and sell them a $2500 vacuum they’ve already explained to you that they do not want 5 times. Pros - if you’re extremely motivated, pushy, and hard working you may be able to make some good money.Cons - everything else. No breaks, overtime every week, getting home late, knocking doors all day and still having no success and getting in trouble for not being pushy enough with strangers who don’t want you in there home and call the cops on your team because they’re upsetting the neighborhood.

Devon and Shadow ABSOLUTELY killed it with the carpet and demonstration. Please give them either a raise or a promotion and a good bonus please. They are such nice humans and genuinely good folk. They did what they promised and cleaned our carpets. They know all the ins and outs of what theyre selling and are super good at what they do. Highly recommend.

This company presented a great opportunity to me. I have been with a couple companys and here I have made it to exceed the income of most college grads. Here the people care about each other and for those that work hard and learn you can be well rewarded. I have been with the company for over two years and was able to earn my own franchise! Coming to work is a positive experience and it has made a difference in my life and my families. I am able to help them in times of need as to a 10 dollar an hour job I couldnt do any of that. I have a lot of respect for the owner and DPS with the high level of positivity they expect within the office and in the field. Working there I didn’t feel the need to lie or push people to buy something they didn’t want. Some of their employees came by my house selling Kirby vacuums. They were very understanding that I couldn’t buy one even before they came to do a demonstration i.e. vacuum and shampoo a room and stairs. They even offered to not do a sales pitch when they came to do the job. While they were here they went above and beyond on what I had originally asked for and held to their promise to not try to sell me anything aside from a price offer at the end. I really appreciated the low pressure and their amazing service even though I didn’t buy anything.

I had a great experience with them last week. We recently bought a new house and had no idea how bad the carpets really were. The demonstration took a little, but its really necessary to see all the different things the Kirby can do. We were never pressured by the salesman or the owner Mark. I have absolutely loved this job, my favorite job I’ve ever had. Being honest to a fault, I’m so glad I’ve never had to lie, be shady in any way shape or form, and I am treated so well by Mark, the owner. It is very hard work, but worth it all for the pay and the overall goodness of the company. I will keep this career, because I know that I will never have to worry about losing my integrity or not having the opportunity to make what I’m worth. Anyone who is posting negativity is probably not posting the whole story.

Trained for a week and was told I would be able to watch others pitch sales but was instantly thrown into strangers houses by myself with no experience and hardly knowing anything about the individual, or how to conduct the sale correctly, expect to work 12 hours or more a day. Prepare yourself to knock doors by yourself if you’re wanting to actually make it worth your while and make a profit. You will be asked to demonstrate to friends and families which usually takes around 3 hours and if you’re unable to complete this task you won’t receive any sort of payment for the week of training you did. I was able to do 1 demonstration and was paid $10 for even though I was there on time every day for training. Don’t quit your job and buy into the money like I did unless you’re financially prepared to not make any money the first month.My reply to below : 3 demos were accomplished on my end completely solo first day on the job instead of being able to watch demos take place which was the original agreement and would count towards my demos for the week, I also never received payment for these demos . Facebook appointments were never mentioned as an option unless they were for training purposes. Facts unknown remain so to individuals who are never enlightened on these “facts.” The fact is everything on day 1 was nothing as promised and I was left out to dry by my “Team leader.”

BUYER BEWARE!!! This is absolutely the worst company I have ever had dealings with! Dont buy a Kirby from them unless you want terrible customer service! Im giving them a 1-star rating only because I cant give less!Ryan Leavitt came to my door on May 20 and said it would just be a 15-minute in home demonstration of the Kirby vacuum. He was there for over three-hours! He said it was national sell a Kirby day and the price was the lowest ever. We were not going to initially buy the Kirby without thinking about it, but Ryan said there was a three business day return policy so we could try it out and take advantage of the price. We told him we were extremely busy and wouldnt be able to try it out until Wednesday, the third business day, and he said that was fine, we could try it out then and if we didnt like it we could call him anytime until midnight and there would be no problem in returning it and cancelling the contract.Well we decided on Wednesday that the Kirby wasnt for us and to return it. I called Ryan at 3:30 in the afternoon and got no answer and left a message. I stopped by their office at 4:15 to deliver the cancelled contract and their office was locked. I called again and still got no answer and left another message. I also sent them an e-mail from the contact us page on their website. Then I mailed the cancelled contract at the post office. Ryan never called me back on Wednesday, when he told me I could call him anytime and it would be no problem to return it.I finally got a hold of Ryan on Thursday afternoon, and he said they received none of my voicemail messages, or the ones my wife left from her phone. He said they didnt get my e-mail either. I talked to Ryan later after they received my cancelled contract in the mail, and he said because it was postmarked on Thursday that they wouldnt accept it. These were the only contact methods they gave me, and because they were unreachable during the cancellation period, they are refusing to cancel my Kirby contract and accept the return.I have also tried working with the Kirby Customer Relations Department, and after six weeks of mediation, the owner of Rocky Mountain Incorporated, Mark Rogers, is still refusing to accept my return. This is terrible customer service, all because they were unavailable when they said they would be! This issue is still ongoing and now Im having to submit a BBB case all for something that should have been resolved over two months ago!Save yourself the frustration and dont buy a Kirby vacuum from anyone at Rocky Mountain Incorporated!

The sales people I have worked with are so nice and the Kirby vaccume is amazing ! Anyone who realizes cost verse money spent realize this vaccume succeeds all others ( I can never cleans with anything else. I have been in the cleaning business for over 15 years and Kirby and their warranty is the only way to save money and be treated right . The value of an American made product still stands . My entire family have Kirby’s and love them . They had one prior to this being my job!

This place is a SCAM! The owner will lie to you at all cost to get you working and overlook any questions you may have. When I started I was told no door to door sales and your first day, its door to door sales. They tell you ways to cheat taxes. They will have employees post here on google reviews when they get bad reviews, just to keep their ratings high. My last week there, I worked all but one day and the owner said that I wouldnt get paid, so I left with no money. They say you hours are flexible- THATS A LIE! Last thing, my 1099 forms they filed had my name spelled wrong and they didnt want to re-file because it would cost them money. This place is a joke for work for. Last thing I forgot to mention was, I was working 6 days a week....horrible pay for all the hours logged which the owner didnt care to consider.

Jan. 25, 2017At first I thought it was a floor cleaning service. I was open to the demo even though I just bought a new vacuum a month ago but l was curious. They were nice I was home alone with only my one year old. It makes you a little nervous having men in your house. I thought the demo was good tell he asked to see my new vacuum and stuck a number 2 pencil in it while it was on. Not only could that have damaged my Property that I paid for but pencil peices could have Hurt me or my child.Also I tried to write a review 4 times it said err so yeah Im upset so instead of a 3 I now say 1 thanks. Also wasted 4 or more hours of my day. The credit check and contract are why I refused to buy. Also being scared into it like if I dont buy my family will get sick and die. They will say anything. I bet your husband would buy stuff without asking you, um no I dont think so.Thanks but no thanks Ill take my chances.

I worked there for just over a week, the people are great and the product is great.I couldnt work the long hours and it was to hard on my body.Its hard because you spend all day knocking doors and hope that strangers will let you schedule a demo for them and unless you book and perform a minimum of 12 demos a week you dont get a paycheck at all which I learned the hardway.

If you need something you’ll have a better time reaching out to Kirby’s website. Also the way the employees are treated here. Disclaimer: This is a review and my opinion. They are synonyms. I am entitled to write a review as I am entitled to state my opinion about a company. All that is said is true.I initially wrote a lengthy review which I will post elsewhere. Mark, get a grip. You refused to pay for AC when it was broken in a van. There were no lunch breaks. The blame was set on us for not making sales even after going to the same neighborhood and you wondered why no sales happened. Maybe due to people saying another person was there a few days ago? Your unprofessional behavior towards previous employees is mind-bending and reflects what business you run. I was on time, if not early. I did not leave early because I literally could not. Those vans you used for transit were our only way back to this location (RMI) and only if the day was done (at 10pm or later) would we be allowed back. You promise the world to people, you have no issue whatsoever badgering or what seems like blackmailing other ex-employees, you teach sales tactics that make employees and customers exceedingly uncomfortable and proceed to expose anyone who has a valid reason to hate the job and say this isnt factual. You yelled at us for not singing the Kirby song after we all got there post getting off from a 9am-11pm shift. We had no right to be tired unless we got a sale. But what a great workplace environment as every positive review says. What great reviews the managers leave. You are boosting ratings. Its just as fraudulent as your promises to not only customers but the employees who keep the false sense of hope in their system. THAT is factual. Paying someone $200 for 1.5 weeks is below minimum wage for the shifts worked. Continue to reply like the professional person you are. The one who says not to go to college and work because you did not. Continue to teach sales people to barge in, not take no for an answer and feel like scum after not getting a sale. I feel scummy for the sales I made due to how forced they were. How I had to let myself into houses (taught in orientation). The water people gave to me in July heat was more rewarding than the measly amount of payment. It was never clear about the hours, never clear about pay but excuse me if I am tired from being overworked. No, YOUR reputation is far more important. Ryan was my boss and he even spoke highly of you at the time. No hesitation in posting his salary. A review I even saw was deleted by someone you STILL REPLIED TO even after it was 4-stars. Good job boosting, junior. Big man, arent you? Dont blame the salespeople, we did what we had to do to divert from Mark, the owner. Blame the horrid business model and sales tactics. Preying on poor or old people because theyre easier to trick into payment plans. Remember saying that, Mark? Good on you, you really are doing an exceedingly horrible job at making employees feel good about what they do. I just felt bad seeing responses and wont give Mark the privilege of knowing who personally hates the company he made, not Kirby, the embodiment of him and the sad excuse of a company he made. Dont work here. Also it should be noted that you are trained to ignore no soliciting signs. Just dont answer the door, even if they knock 2 times in a day (also trained to do).TL,DR: Anon account, report if you want. Dont work for Mark, dont be tricked by promises he makes to you as an employee or customer. He clearly shows how he will treat you if you dare bad-mouth him. This experience was so bad were buying No Soliciting signs.First, theyre operating in Pleasant Grove illegally when it would take very little time to go down to City Hall and fill out the forms to get their lanyards. They were completely uninformed about the local soliciting laws, which is odd for a company that ONLY does door to door sales. The one claimed he was going to go in and get his the very next morning and I REALLY hope he did but its clear the company as a whole doesnt care so I may need to report it as a precaution.Second, theyre operating under false pretenses. He said they had just opened a new service center and were looking to get more reviews in exchange for me letting them do a carpet cleaning. He said he would, whip out two rooms and a hall starting at 4:15 and get to go home early for the day. If I liked the cleaning, I would leave a good review. I thought Id be able to finish wrapping birthday presents while he cleaned, hed be in and out in under an hour, and it would be great. Nope.This is not a carpet cleaning company. Its a Kirby vacuum cleaner sales company. They arent new - their service center opened 4 years ago. And they arent just looking for reviews - after badgering me for 4 hours to buy a vacuum, they left with the salesman worn out and defeated (he didnt even have time to do the second room he promised) and the manager trying to hide her anger and insulting my intelligence on the way out. She said, Im really surprised we didnt get this one. Usually its the smart people who buy our vacuums. She continued to go on and on about how smart people and engineers buy their vacuums (implying heavily that I must not be as smart as she thought) while I was guiding them to the door.I feel bad leaving this review because I honestly liked both of them and had promised a good review if I liked the cleaning. But the carpet dried and it honestly wasnt that great a cleaning. My carpets are definitely cleaner, but they are no where near what a professional truck-mounted company can do (despite their confidence that it would be so much better). And I felt guilty for talking and making it take longer, but as Ive thought about it over the last two days, Ive realized that it wasnt my fault and that I was treated very poorly (in the nicest way possible). So Im giving 2 stars instead of 1 because I DID promise a review and its the best I can do.The reality is that this demonstration would still have taken at least 3 hours even if I hadnt chatted extra - far longer than it was supposed to. And despite them saying over and over that there was, no pressure to buy, they continued to pressure me and were upset when I didnt. I made it very clear we dont do loans and didnt have cash, but they kept writing down deals for me to look at, each one lower than the last, as if that would somehow change things.On top of that, I told them over and over again that I DIDNT EVEN LIKE THE VACUUM. Its heavy and clunky and doesnt turn well or fit into small spaces. I have my Shark for a reason and I LOVE it. It cleans well enough for what I want and has all the things I look for in a vacuum that the Kirby is severely lacking. Their response was, you dont buy a vacuum for how it handles, you buy it for how well it cleans. Yes, I DO buy a vacuum for how it handles and no amount of cleaning power is going to get me to buy a vacuum I hate.They tried very hard to freak me out about the amount of dirt under my carpets and dust mite poop in my bed as if this was supposed to be surprising and gross but I am under no false pretenses about the amount of dirt I live with and, unlike most people, Im not afraid of it. I have no need or want for a fancy-pants $2500 vacuum and they just could not accept that. Im obviously an idiot for feeling that way. They left me with a starving ornery toddler (and family), an exasperated husband, a pile of not-yet-wrapped birthday presents, and a lot of frustration. It was not a good experience and I will never let a salesman into my home again.

I loved working at this company! Mark, the owner, is very energentic and uplifting to work with. I built a strong friendship with all of the co-workers and met some amazing people! Coming to work everyday didnt even seem like a job. We spent our days chatting and getting to know new people and I learned valuable communication skills that arent able to be learned any other way. This is a great company!

We allowed them to come into our home after they promised a free cleaning with no strings attached. They proceeded to do a very long and highly scripted sales pitch. After we rejected their final offer the boss proceeded to scold me for wasting their salesmans time. When I mentioned that they had stayed at my home for three hours at dinner time and the boss responded that I could have asked them to leave at any time, I asked them to leave immediately. After 3 hours they still hadnt finished the free cleaning they had promised. Stay away from this deceptive company and their high-pressure sales techniques.

These reviews are all obviously fake. I applied to this company after reading a nice description of a great paying sales job.... lol!!! They sale Kirbys, and they wont even tell you before you drive forever to get to the interview. Ive had friends and family work weeks without pay from these guys. They also will not even sell a vacuum to someone with cash. They must pass their credit check first. This causes so many issues. This place is literally worse then just doing a neighborhood cleanup!! At least then youd get something worth while done!

Its a kirby office! Door to door sales. Left a 1 star previously and it no longer shows up. worked for this office for 9 months. Was the worst job i have ever had. Owner was not honest about anything he promised. Saw multiple friends leave because they were not getting the pay they were promised. DO NOT WORK HERE. You work.from 9 in the morning to anywhere between 9 pm to midnight. And if you dont put in 12 demos a week your pay is not the 2000 they GUARANTEE. alot of the time we only ran 12 a week and had multiple salesman. You were not guaranteed 1 demo a day! Also If you have a family kiss them good bye you wont see them you work Tuesday thru Saturday. Would give a 0 star rating if i could.

These guys came out to Tooele a few months ago and I was shocked at the lack of professionalism they displayed. They hadnt paid the license fees with the county to legally perform door to door sales and were unable to provide an explanation as to why. The salesman were unkempt and drove around in a suspicious looking panel van. Their behavior upset us in the apartment complex enough that we called the police. I was informed by the officer that found them that they were operating without proper licensing and he had asked them to make sure they obtained those licenses before they returned. They havent been here since.This is just my opinion, but theres something shady about these guys and how they operate. I shouldnt have felt uncomfortable with them in my neighborhood, but I did.

This is the worst company Ive ever worked for. They say its a base salary of 2000 a month with no sales required, but what they dont tell you is, they require you to do a certain amount of demonstrations in order to receive that. With that, they tell you in orientation that all your demo appointments will be set for you, and you will just go and do the demos, however when you start working, all of the sudden youre asked to go door to door and set up your own appointments with people. I worked for one week and had days where I worked from 9am until midnight, yet upon quitting I was told that I would not be given a paycheck of any kind, because I did not make a sale, and did not set up 12 demonstrations in that week. Again, when I was hired, I was told that I would have the demonstration appointments set up for me, that canvassers would set the appointments, but there were no canvassers setting appointments, and I was told to go knocking on doors, despite implicitly being told in orientation that I would not be doing any door to door appointment setting. This company hires people under a lot of false pretenses, and uses clever sales tactics to try and make the job sound great. Ultimately, what Ive found, is if you do not want to do door to door sales, and have weeks where you make less than $300, then dont work here.Hopefully, if youre looking for work, and you find this company, you stay away. I worked 50+ hours in one week without being paid anything for it.

I admit to digress from my original review, to give complete explanation to the company and its practices: there is nothing wrong with this company, in fact they have top notch work performance I havent seen since a union position. The owner of this company is self made and respectable in many aspects, I believe as he is someone to aspire to eventually be like in a sales career. The owner of the company is very knowledgeable with sales, and does provide a superb training, as I have used many sales tactics in my current career. The environment of the office is friendly, and they love to crack jokes, and I wish I were the person able to do so on a job; they have excellent cooperation with each other to having make their sales a good experience. Field experience was very hard work, and was incredibly rewarding as it pays very good for commission. My only complaint (besides recruitment) would be the hours on the job, while you work late to work hard, so this job isnt for the average worker, this job can be demanding at times, but also rewarding. The job was meant for hard workers with aspirations for independency in the working field, which they do provide proper training on doing your own contracting and finances. The recruitment process aside, I would say the field working is the best experience you can obtain in the job market. If I would be able to obtain a job like this in the future, I would greatly perform the experience and training I had at the company, beit short.

Spoiler alert: it’s a Kirby vacuum in-home sales job. Best to steer clear of this one.
