Worst place! Bad customer service! The guy Antonio is rude and lied about a leaf blower I bought, saying it works well. He had it priced very high knowing the defect of it and sold it to me saying it just needed gas and to let it run for a while. After taking it home and using it, it never idled good, it never revved up and seemed like it had no power. I took it back in and asked for my money back but he said he will only buy it back for half of what is was bought for after telling me he knew that the guy that brought it in, in the first place put just regular gas and not the right oil to gas mixture needed for it to run well. He still sold it smh! Not a good reliable, honest business I do not recommend.

Seem a little inexperienced. Brought in a brand new Burton setup. Boots, board, bindings for a quick loan and they offered me $80 on brand new mint gear. LoL was looking for $200 quick loan on over 1k of brand new gear. Really nice guy though just didn’t realize what he had in front of him. Had to decline.

Called to ask about a price for a object was very rude and blunt didnt answer the question and swore at me when I told him not to yell at me or get loud

Went in there earlier tonight and ran into Antonio from Barter Kings, he was with his staff behind the counter and they had some questions about the corner need tool I had bought. Every time I go it is a nice casual vibe. Its nice to see an Owner that has interaction with customers. Great job on customer relations Antonio, I will be a loyal customer for sure!

WOW! WOW! WOW! where do I start! This is one of the best dang pawn shops Ive ever been to. Not only are they a good pawn shop. They have the cutest damn dog Ive ever seen. The owner is just a big looking teddy bear!! Sweet and professional hes not the best looking but man can he give some good loans. I would highly recommend this pawn shop

This is hands down the best Pawn shop in Utah County if not the entire state. The employees are the best youll ever find the owner is respectful and extremely helpful and always gives you a far price on everything. I purchased a tool from here and it didnt work out the way I was hoping and he let me bring me back and even gave me a better more expensive one at no additional charge just because the first didnt work out. The other owner Lotty is one of the most honest and genuine people Ive ever dealt with. He is so knowledgeable and has a lot of experience. I never feel like Im being sold here it has always been a relaxed and mellow experience! I highly recommend coming here hands down the best shop around and they blow their competitors out of the water, just by their customer service alone theyre the best and they only sale the best quality of items. I will never go anywhere else!

I went in to sell an engagement ring and was told by the man that it was a FAKE diamond ring, he used a diamond tester machine thing and said it wasn’t a real diamond but while he was doing it he kept holding it at an odd angle so I couldn’t tell if he was actually touching the center stone or not, he then put it on his ring with diamonds and the machine went off perfectly to indicate it was real diamonds. He said the most he would buy it for is $60 because the center stone and stones around the halo and band were fakes so they weren’t worth much and that the only value it held was because of the gold metal. I was confused because when my ex husband bought the ring it was $3000 (I was there when it was purchased so I know that’s the amount that was actually paid). He kept being extremely pushy about me selling him the ring because I “wasn’t going to get much more for it, so I may as well just sell it and not waste anymore of my time” well I went in to get it appraised by a PROFESSIONAL and it is a REAL VS1 diamond. Long story short, this shop is full of crooks and the man is a scammer. I would not recommend selling anything here that is of actual value because they will try to lie and tell you it’s “fake”.

The guy that runs this place is HONEST! I took my gold jewelry to a couple different places in orem, only to be scammed, and quickly ended up coming right back here. This pawn shop was one of the ONLY ones to flat out tell me he would buy my gold, but not my jewels and that any jewels in the jewelry would be given to the pawn shop for free. Other places lied and tried to scam me for my diamonds in the necklaces (pawn shops dont actually give you $ for those, who knew). I highly highly HIGHLY recommend this place if you want the best bang for your buck, with great customer service and honest owners

This is the only pawn shop I will go to now! Besides from being extremely fair with their pricing, they will also work with you when you are late or cannot make a payment. The key is simple, communicate with them! In my experience they have gone above and beyond to ensure I do not loose my property. I love how selective they are with what they take into the shop. Thanks to that they have some of the best selection of goods in Utah County. I highly recommend checking them out!

The staff here is great. They are always straight forward with you instead of trying to pull one over on you. They have a great selection everytime I have been in and they always go the extra mile to ensure every customer has a quality experience. Never been here but spent the last 30 min reading the hilarious responses to the low reviews. That was a 5-star experience for me.

I based my rating on the ability to identify gold. I brought in a ring and gold bracelet to see what they could do for me just to pawn both items. I normally would go to a shop in Provo, however this was more local to me at the time. As the employee went and came back from testing both items, they stated no offer could be made as they believed neither had any gold. I even provided proof for the rings value and gold amount with the actual receipt given from the PROFESSIONALS at Sierra West Jewelers when purchased. The bracelet has been tested as well by and Id like to make it clear PROFESSIONALS before, thus shocking me that they could not tell there was gold in either. The only offer made on anything was my watch at $15 (I did not even offer my watch. The employee just noticed it then offered.). My watch is currently still valued in its condition at $200 at pawn by much more experienced shops. This proved to me the employee was not experienced enough to be in the industry. After the offer on my watch I decided to go the Provo shop I normally would have gone to before. I was given a $450 pawn in Provo by employees with more experience with gold for just the ring and bracelet. VIP Pawn Shop offered NOTHING for the gold as well as stated there was none even with proof provided and offered $15 for my watch again valued at $200 by other shops. I believe the experience of employees can make or break a business like this. Perhaps in this case I just got the wrong employee to talk to with little to no experience in the industry. Either way my experience was certainly not the best and was definitely my last here. If I could give a lesser rating I would have. I hope they find more experienced employees.

Dont go to vip pawn shop! It is not worth your time to go there. I got my xbox one out of the pawn shop and hooked it up the next day to find out that my wireless control to my xbox one is broken. What pawn shop does that. If you want to go to a good pawn shop go to Provo pawn. I wish that I went to that pawn shop instead of going to the Vip pawn. I will not be going back to the Vip pawn ever again.

I bought a router from VIP Pawn. When they shipped it, the shipping company made a mistake delaying the package. VIP Pawn corrected the issue, far exceeding my satisfaction. The best thing, they didnt try to make excuses -- they addressed the issue ASAP. Amazing deals and low prices. I would definitely do business with VIP.

The atmosphere is always upbeat and light hearted. everyone who comes in seems to have a great sense of humor and a lot of fun just being there. its not at all like most pawn shops. its not stuffy and the items are in great shape and there is a variety of items to choose from. I accidentally stumbled upon VIP and Im glad I did.

$10 for a brand new drill, bag of tools, bits, and at least $400 in tools. Wouldn’t do a loan for two days of $80 for hundreds in tools. But went right down the street and got taken care of in ten minutes. Guess they simply don’t know what things are worth.

Horrible customer service!!! Went in around midnight to look for something specific. Wasnt greeted upon entering, when I located the person in charge she vaguely mentioned she was busy and continued running around the store, when I noticed she was at the front, I approached and she stand offishly said did you hear what I said and basically said that she couldnt help me tonight as before she made it sound like she would help me soon. I never felt like my bussiness was something that they would try to aprehend!!!!FIRST and LAST time customer!!!!

I saw their add in KSL Classified for a Goal Zero Lighthouse for 59.00 so I Googled them for the address and stopped by on my way home from work. Its a good clean store and the attendant was friendly and helpful. They also sold me the Lighthouse for 50.00 even. Very nice and Ill be back to check out some of their other deals.

The LAZIEST buncha %%%$&*$ theyve got this little sign that says if we are not open call and we will open for you ya no. They wont. DURING BUSINESS HOURS Thursday may 30th 11:21 AM theres the guys sittin inside litterally ducking behind the counter to the right hiding and ignoring the phone calls. Never met a group of guys so scared to work.. at a pawn shop of all places.

I absolutely love Antonio I have been going to his shop for almost 2 years he gives great prices for loans that I feel is fair. I fully trust Antonio and hes never given me a reason not to come back hes awesome and I like him but I like his dog more Haha Haha.

I amended my review after that with my thoughts on the owners response, which google has now deleted & will leave this review with this final amendment to how I feel about my expierence.I did not have a good experience with the owner of this establishment, & found his handling of customer correspondence unprofessional & quite insulting. Beyond that I leave it up to others to figure out for themselves.
