Originally I met with a sales designer and she came to my home and designed everything, this was a great experience. The designer had very lovely taste and explained that I would need to wait about 2 to 3 months. I finally decided okay this will give me time to paint the rooms and prepare for the new furniture.Both the rooms were empty.I am not happy with the lack of communication and with the long wait. I would not here from my sales person unless I reached out to inquire. I ordered my furniture back in February and still have only received half of my order after almost 6 months and I only received a partial of one of the rooms. I ordered 2 rooms of furniture for my new home.Once I received part of my order I was informed my table was broken and I would need to wait again. I paid for the table and I have yet to see a refund on my account. I placed a sizable deposit on my furniture and was told I cannot cancel because it was custom made furniture, even though tables and lamps were not custom. This was my first time shopping with Ethan Allen and will probably be my last.

We purchased our first sofa from Ethan Allen a while back and have been so far thrilled with the quality. Ive since been back to the Pasadena store a few times looking for other accessories, and this review is actually for one of their decorators, Nancy. She was extremely helpful, very knowledgable about the products, went out of her way to give me options and suggestions, went so far as to come to our home with samples - all without being too pushy or putting pressure on us to buy quickly. I wish every store had sales reps like Nancy. Dealing with her reminded me why we still need in-person stores and what we miss when we buy online!

Amazing experience, knowledge and talent! I couldn’t be happier with my master bedroom. The designer that helped me,Tiffany has a wonderful vision and was able to bring it to reality. Not to mention, she really listened to my needs and wants for this space. Will definitely work with her again!

We had an incredible experience at Ethan Allen and are still adding pieces to our home. We love the customer service at the store, selection and quality of products, customization options, and delivery. This is where you go for furniture that is worth the money and will last. I’m generally happy with the product and quality. However, I’m surprised that the company doesn’t allow for minor deviations or accommodations. If all furniture is made to order - thus takes at least three months to make- why not accommodate minor requests that will make the customers happy. A specific example will be, make some writing desks have the option to convert the middle drawer to a keyboard drawer. Didn’t seem like a lot to ask.

Ethan Allen was once a good company until the new president took over 30 years ago. From that point, it started on a slow decline in quality and customer relations. Now many things are made in China or Indonesia and not of good quality. I have had terrible experiences with them repeatedly delivering damaged furniture that had to be repeatedly returned and or reordered several times to get a good piece.They kept two completely paid for furniture pieces in storage as hostage refusing to have them delivered until I paid for a third damaged piece of furniture. They kept my money totaling $4900 including the deposit on the damaged piece and never refunded it. When the store in Pasadena, California closed from private ownership back to corporate ownership, they were to notify customers and deliver all paid for merchandise. They instead sold all my paid for furniture never refunding me the money nor giving me any notice they were going to sell the merchandise.The corporate store district manager of the Torrence location, Peter, an abysmal excuse for a district manager who was assisting in the acquisition, did nothing to make this situation right by saying the franchise had nothing to do with Ethan Allen Corporate. All he said was that my furniture was no longer in their inventory and tried to sell me more furniture.They deserve no stars. Never buy from them.

Great customer service! Nancy went above and beyond in helping me in my quest for a new bed frame. I’m getting my bed assembled in my new apartment in less than 10 days.

The furniture was damaged in delivery and it’s several weeks from the delivery date before the damaged piece can be replaced. The chair though, is very comfortable.

Awesome selection. Great items. Friendly staff. Was helped very fast. Was greeted by a great receptionist that asked me what i was lookin for. I told her she called a sales person for me. The sales person was very knowledgeable in all the products I inquired in. I will definitely be back

Furniture is surprisingly affordable, especially for the quality. Much better than similar price points at Restoration Hardware. I wouldn’t buy accessories here. One can get lamps, etc, of similar quality online or at brick and mortar specialty shops for a lot less.

My wife has been buying from Dianna, store consultant, at the Ethan Allen, Pasadena store for over 20 years. She has spent thousands of dollars at this store. In addition to all the furniture, we had custom curtains and window coverings installed. About three weeks ago, my wife called Dianna to ask for the stores assistance on removing one of the window shades, since we would be remodeling our bathroom. I usually can take shade down but these, I couldnt figure out and they were expensive. Dianna told my wife she would take care of it. It is now three weeks later and our demo crew has to cover them because, Dianna and her overpriced store, never came over to take our window coverings down. As usual, they are helpful when you want to buy, after that, forget it. Terrible customer service, after the fact. P.S. The last overpriced magazine rack that we purchased came in a box, Made in China. The Ethan Allen of old is gone, meet the new face.

Never buy any warranty plans! I paid more than 2,000 US dollars for the warranty. When I needed the warranty service, I encountered all kinds of martyrdom, wasted a lot of time, and didnt get any service! dishonest!
